Vendor Master Activity

I want to clean up our Vendor Master File. I need to get a list of all Vendors with no activity over the last 3 years. It's seems this would be a standard report but I do not see one that meets this needs. How do I get  a list of Vendors that can be flagged for deletion?

  • Vendor Master Activity / In-Activity report

    Dear SAP fellow grus'
Is there any vendor master report that shows when a vendor was last used?
    Thanks,
    Chet

    Hello !
There is no standard report for that, but you could maybe create a report to run RBKP or any other table you believe is relevant for your meaning of "used". And when the vendor number is found, you extract the Entry Date.

  • Activation of new fields in Vendor Master

    Hi Experts,
Fields "Acct clk tlf", "Clerk's fax" and "Clrk's internet" are made available (activated)  for editing in Vendor Master - maintained at company code level in Correspondane tab.
Would like to know whether availability of this fields will affaect the existing solution. What are the testing scenarios that need to be tested for this change?
    Kindly assist.
    Brgds

    Hi,
I was wondering, can we use the fax and email on this tab "clerk at vendor" on vendor master to send a payment advice? Or rather, we are having an issue whereby, the address to send the PO to the vendor and vendor address to send the remittance advice is different. Hence, when the PO team is sending a PO to the vendor via email, they ensure that the address is what they need, when the AP team is sending the remittance advice, they have to change the address again to what they need because if they don't, the advice will be sent to the PO vendor address which is different.
DO you have any insight on how we can solve this problem?
    Your help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Multiple active emails on the Vendor master

We would like to use multiple emails for a vendors .
One to send PO's and Second to send payment advice  to the Vendors .
Could you please suggest options to maintain two active emails addresses ?
    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
If you have maintained the payment term in the Purchase Order, it will overwrite the payment term which is maintained in the Vendor Master. If no payment term is maintained in the PO, then the payment term which is maintained in the Vendor Master will be considered.

    Amit

  • Field LFM1-BLIND (Doc index active) in the vendor master record

    Hello -
I am going through OSS note # 1819416 which describes about automatic price updates. I am not getting any field LFM1-BLIND for setting this check box in XK02 ( step # 3), even I checked for field status and relevant field is not there.
How to activate vendor for that check box? is there any dependent setting for this?
Let me know if anyone knows about it. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
The field is available in ECC (even without Retail), in vendor master - purchasing view as shown below:
You may check in OMSG transaction, whether the field is made optional for the account group as shown below:

  • Added new fields in vendor master in xk01 but data is not getting saved

    Hi experts,
To add new fields in vendor master i have followed the following steps :
1.) Appended a structure ZRTGS in LFA1 table with required fields and activated
    2.) Added new button in xk01( vendor master ) using spro -> logistics-general -> business partner -> vendors ->
control ->adoption of customer's owaster data fields -> prepare modification free-enhancement of vendor master record
Created a screen group ZR and defined label tab pages with function code ZRTGS and saved entries
    3.) Created a implementation for BADIs VENDOR_ADD_DATA and VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS.
4.) Created a program with my own subscreen for the required fields
The button is getting displayed in XK01, XK02 and XK03 respectively. Whenever the button is clicked the subscreen with
the fields is also displayed. But whenever i try to save the data in either XK01 or XK02 it is not getting saved in to the
    database table LFA1.
Request your help in this regard.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
You may need to check this include .

    Hi Shareen,
Have you looked Master Data Distribution (ALE) for Vendor since your legacy system are SAP?
Please check t/code BD14 (Send Vendor Master Data) and BD15 (Get Vendor Master Data).
Hope this will give you an idea.

  • Program for customer and vendor master

    Hi All,
I am working with ale-idocs. could you plese tell me the program name for transferring the customer and vendor master data.
    thanks in adavance,
    Sugeet.

    Hi Sugeet,
You can transfer the Customer/Vendor master data by activating change pointers or by using RBDSEDEB/RBDSECRE programs manually by giving the customer or vendor number. But for both the methods you need to configure the partner profile settings.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

  • Report for vendor master changes

    Good day,
Please can you assist with this issue,
    Report S_ALR_87012089,program RFKABL00
    Version ECC 6.0
This report does not reflect the old and the new values for changed bank details.
It does not show anything under the old value and shows **deleted** and **created** for new values.
    Thanks in advance

You will have to do configuration in T Codes OBAT and OBAU to achieve what you want in the report.
Check the IMG activity documentation for the following.
SPRO -> IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -> Vendor Accounts -> Master Records -> Preparations for Changing Vendor Master Records -> Define Field Groups for Vendor Master Records.
SPRO -> IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -> Vendor Accounts -> Master Records -> Preparations for Changing Vendor Master Records -> Group Fields for Vendor Master Records.
Also read the RFKABL00 program documentation.

  • Vendor master Comparision

    Hi All,
I have extracted the list of vendor codes from F.48 with selection parameter "Not created in Financial Accounting".
Now when i am running those list of vendor in LFB1 table, i am geting the company code.
As per my understanding "Not created in Financial Accounting" shold mean that the vendor masters arenot created at company code level.
Then why those vendor masters are showing with company codes in LFB1 table? Is my understanding right? How much can i rely on f.48 report?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Indranil

I completely agree with you. And thats where my point lies.
    (1) I have executed F.48 with the condition "Not created in Financial Accounting". So the data extracted should be of those vendor codes which are activated in certain Porg but not activated in any of the company codes.
    (2) Now when i am checking those vendor masters in LFB1 then logically there should no data exsist. But strangly when i am executing those vendor master records (Extracted in Step 1 from F.48) in LFB1,it is showing that those vendor codes are activated in certain company codes.
    Please respond.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Indranil

  • Vendor Master Extraction

    Hello,
I have successfully activated 0vendor_attr and 0vendor_text. The extract structure name, BIW_LFA1_S, and description indicate that this is vendor master data from table LFA1.
My requirement is to also extract data from tables LFB1 and LFM1.
Using transaction code RSA5, I am not able to identify a business content datasource whose extract structure corresponds to these two OLTP system tables.
Using SE11 I have verified that the structure BIW_LFB1_S and BIW_LFM1_S exist in the OLTP system.
How can I activate these two datasources?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Found the business content data sources under SAP-R/3 - LO - LO-IO: 0ven_compc and 0ven_purorg.

    Hi Mark,
You can try creating your own datasources in RSO2 using these structures for extraction.
    Hope this helps...

  • Masking Certain Field in Vendor Master Data

We have a Enhancement which involves conversion of Vendor Numbers.,It so happened that a category of Vendor Codes were the Social Security Numbers.
Now that due to Privacy Laws etc they are converting that number logic which is throwing challanges.
The first Step is to convert Vendors from XSSN to Y123 and the second is also retain the social number in a encrypted field as it is used for 1099 reporting.
I am aware that there is a standard functionality for Credit Cards Numbers Masking but not sure if there is any thing for special fields on Vendor Master.
If you are aware of any options to handle the switchover or masking certain fields pls share them with me.
    Thanks,
    Praveen

    Praveen,
Did you try 'Define Screen Layout per Activity (Vendors)' and suppress/hide the fields?
