VerifyError when invoking a webservice

Hi All,
I receive the following error when I try to invoke a method in my webservice. It used to work previously but this error happens when I changed the ant script and try to create a new ear file.
java.lang.VerifyError: (class: oracle/epcis/services/queryservice/runtime/EPCISServiceBinding_Tie, method: invoke_getSubscriptionIDs signature: (Loracle/j2ee/ws/server/StreamingHandlerState;)V) Incompatible argument to function at java.lang.Class.getDeclaredConstructors0(Native Method) at java.lang.Class.privateGetDeclaredConstructors(Class.java:2357) at java.lang.Class.getConstructor0(Class.java:2671)
Can anyone please help..?
Thanks
Rajasekaran

Hi Grall,
I'm using Oracle OC4J server 10.1.3 in WinXp OS. My JDK/JRE is 1.5.Previously, I kept a separate jar for my EJBs "epcis-ejb.jar" within my ear file and now I keep the ejb contents too inside the war file. This is as per the requirement of my project. Hence My EAR file will have a WAR file within it and all the webservice and EJB based sources are kept within a plan JAR file (not ejb-jar) with in the lib folder of the WAR file. One more point to add, EPCISService is the name of my webservice and EPCISServicePortTypeImpl is the impl class of the webservice where i define my business methods.
Can you please help me..?
Thanks
Rajasekaran

  • Problem when invoke the  Webservice WSDL

    Hi ,
    Use case :
    I have two applications (Webservices) A and B.They have their own WSDL urls.
    From A ---> request format at A ---->Transform that into B request format----->forward that(request) to B request --- > get B response -----> tranfrom that into A response format ----> A response
    First part of usecase:
    I need to send the request from A to B.But both A and B has different request and response schemas(they will have similar kind of fileds but their naming convention will be different.That is why transformation is required in jdeveloper)
    I have developed a composite which has one BPEL process as component.
    I am placing the A webservice as "exposed Service" swimlane and B webservice in 'external reference'.BPEL process is in component swimlane.
    I deployed that Composite which has above BPEL Process(Takes input from one wsdl url and transforms that request format to (another) webservice request format as explained above) which tries to invoke(send request to) the another webservice Wsdl.
    When I test that composite (That WSDL url),I am getting service invokation exception.
    Please see the below exception:

    I think u can understand my problem by looking at above clearly explained content.
    Hope u guys will help me out in this issue?
    Thanks in advance.
    Hope I will receive response as soon as possible as it is very critical at this point.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Some part is requiring authentication, either the proxy or the web service provider. First thing is to determine which of them.
    Are you able to call B via SOAP-UI? Are you passing authentication in SOAP-UI? If not the problem is in you proxy server.
    Check 401 error here:
    http://www.checkupdown.com/status/E401.html
    Cheers,
    Vlad

  • Invalid security error when invoking secure webservice using SAML tokens

    I have deployed a JAX-WS webservice using a stateless session bean to wl 10.3.2 that uses a custom policy. The service deploys fine, but weblogic returns an HTTP error 500 with a SOAP fault. The fault states wsse:InvalidSecurity. The webservice security policy reqires SAML holder of key assertions and attributes. I have tried everything from running weblogic with Metro 1.5 to configuring SAML Identity Asserter Providers, etc with no luck. I even tried using the built in SAML 2.0 assymetric holder of key policy. What am I doing wrong? The XML of interest is attached.
    Thanks;
    -Dave.

    Hi
    yes, I had the same issue and I found a solution.
    You need to request a patch for BUG 9212862 (already corrected in WLS 10.3.3) and do the follwing:
    javax.xml.ws.BindingProvider provider = (javax.xml.ws.BindingProvider)port;
    java.util.Map context = provider.getRequestContext();
    context.put(weblogic.wsee.jaxrpc.WLStub.POLICY_COMPATIBILITY_PREFERENCE, weblogic.wsee.jaxrpc.WLStub.POLICY_COMPATIBILITY_MSFT);
    This will cause the SecurityMessageArchitect class of WLS to not send the SecurityTokenReference in the Soap security header.
    Please note that is evidently a non-comformity to the specs of microsoft:
    Please give a look at
    http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-soap-message-security-1.0.pdf (8.3 Signing Tokens)
    and also at:
    http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/16768/wss-v1.1-spec-os-SAMLTokenProfile.pdf
    (3.4 Identifying and Referencing Security Tokens)
    A SAML key identifier reference MUST be used for all (local and remote) references to SAML 1.1
    assertions. [...]
    All conformant implementations MUST be able to process SAML assertion references occurring in a
    <wsse:Security> header or in a header element other than a signature to acquire the corresponding
    assertion. A conformant implementation MUST be able to process any such reference independent of the
    confirmation method of the referenced assertion.
    It follows that the .NET 3.5 is a non conformat implementation: I would gladly know which is the position of Microsoft on that.
    ciao

  • Instances when invoking a webservice

    I have some methods in a webservice that I want to be executed one by one (nobody can execute that webservice if is being executed by someone else).
    I'm trying with syncrhonize
    There is some way of publishing the webservices or somewhere in AXIS where you could restrict that all the invokes of the WS will return the same object??
    Otherwise the synchronize would be useless...
    Thanks!!

    Hi Grall,
    I'm using Oracle OC4J server 10.1.3 in WinXp OS.
    Thanks

  • Handle a redirect when invoking a webservice

    Hello everyone,
    recently we launched SAP in our business and to manage the communication between SAP and some other applications we use web services.
    SAP now offers me some services and normally I just get the WSDL description of the service, fill the necessary input with a transform and invoke the service. Works fine.
    In one WSDL for example you can find the following location in the address-tag of the service: http://SAP0003:8010/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/book_ws/100/yca_book/yca_binding.
    I send the request to that URL and get a response.
    But now there's this problem: The server SAP0003 is just one of three SAP (SAP0001 & SAP0002) servers in our company and if these server breaks down, all request will abort, because they are unable to connect to the server - obviously.
    Therefor one of our SAP consultants set up a redirect. I now have to connect to the main server (SAP0001) on another port (8110) and would get redirected to a running server. If I now access the address http://SAP0001:8110/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/book_ws/100/yca_book/yca_binding in my browser I indeed get redirected, for example to URL stated above (http://SAP0003:8010/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/book_ws/100/yca_book/yca_binding). They use the port 8110 a message server port in SAP.
    But now what I can't do is just alter the URL in the WSDL from SAP0003:8010 to SAP0001:8110, because then the server also claims that it can't connect to the end point.
    So is there a way in BPEL to call the message server port, receive the URL and call that server?
    The consultant also mentioned a web dispatcher to handle the load balancing but this isn't installed yet and we currently trying to figure out a way without it.
    I really hope you guys unterstand my problem and I want to apologize for every grammar mistakes I made.
    We're using SOA Suite 11(0.0.5 I guess?) and BPEL 2.0.

    Carsten

    Hi everyone,
    I have a problem, I am connectin to a lotus notes
    database to download a file (using URLConnection)
    ...gbp.nsf/agWebLAL?OpenAgent&UNID=A9D19EDE65447DF5C12

    The thing is lotus notes doesn't give the filename,
    it redirects me to something first, then downloads
    the filename..
    Does anyone know of a way on how I can get the final
    url (the place where I am being redirected), filename
    and mimetype
    Thanks!This connects to a file in the database, and I was wondering if there is a way to get the final URL, the filename and the mimetype before downloading it? It downloads fine, I just want to be able to get the details before my users download it..

  • ADF-BC not shown as fact type when decision service invoked as webservice

    Hello,
    I'm new to OBR.
    I have included 2 adf-bc fact types in my project (EmployeeView & Department View)
    Once the rule is created i get the error stating.
    RUL-05162 : The rule set "Ruleset1" requires fact type "EmployeeView", but this type is not part of the input.
    RUL:05164: The fact type "EmployeeView" is referenced, but is not asserted not input.
    So when i try including as input in the decision service, which is invoked as the webservice, the 'EmployeeView" is not shown in "FactType" drop down. When I uncheck "Will be invoked as webservice" checkbox, the EmployeeView is shown in the "Fact type" drop down in the 'Edit decision function' window.
    How to include the ADF-BC fact type, given the decision service is invoked as webservice and xml schema is given as input.
    Thanks in advance.

    you have to introduce a complexType in the xsd.. like
    <xs:element name="name">

    Hi Jitu,
    I changed the wsdl. And so I dont get the warning anymore. My Webservice also runs well, now. Thanks anyway for the reply.
    There is a nice tech article on the sun network, which solved my problem. The basic idea is to split the wsdl into 2 wsdl documents. one containing all the porttypes messages and so on. And the other wsdl contains the binding and service elements.
    If you are interested check out this link:

  • Connection time out error when calling a webservice on ICF

    Hi
       We have a webservice exposed on ECC 5.0 on the ICF. However, when we invoke the webservice - after 10 seconds , we get a error message
    Error reading server response: The operation has timed-out
    I checked ICMAN parameters
    icm/conn_timeout - and set its new value to 50000 ms ( 50 secs ) - the connection still timed out when the webservice tooks more than 10 seconds to process.
    icm/keep_alive_timeout - I don't see an option to change the new value for this parameter
    What am i missing here - how can I set the connection not to time out uptil say 45 seconds - what parameter do I change here ?

    I partly agree with Kaustubh,
    if you test the service from within SICF the parameter SAPLOCALHOSTFULL (FQHN = Fully-Qualified Host Name) is taken to build the test URL. If this host name is not correct resp. cannot be resolved by the server, you will run into an error.
    icm/host_name_full is only taken if SAPLOCALHOSTFULL is not maintained.
    So first of all you shold check this parameter befor increasing timeout parameters at random.
    If the parameter does not solve the problem, you should have a look into the ICM trace file (dev_icm) and search for "ERROR".

    Stefan

  • Issue in invoking the webservice on EBS 12.1.3

    Hi,
    We are using R12.1.3 version of EBS. We have developed the custome PL SQL logic and deployed it on the Integration repository. Generated the WSDL and Deploy process were successful on IR. Authentication type used was "Username Token". Created the necessary user grants.
    When we try to invoke the webservice from SOAP UI, we are getting below error:
    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <env:Header/>
    <env:Body>
    <env:Fault>
    <faultcode>env:Server</faultcode>
    <faultstring>oracle.apps.fnd.soa.util.SOAException: ServiceProcessingError: System Errornull</faultstring>
    <faultactor/>
    </env:Fault>
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    Also, we checked in the log files and found below entries.
    <MSG_TEXT>An error occurred for port: SOAProvider: oracle.webservices.provider.ProviderException: oracle.apps.fnd.soa.util.SOAException: ServiceProcessingError: System Errornull.</MSG_TEXT>
    <MSG_TEXT>Unable to determine operation id from SOAP Message.</MSG_TEXT>
    Can someone help me in this issue? We are successfully able to invoke the same webservices on R12.1 version but getting an error in 12.1.3 version!!!
    Thanks in advance.

    Vasanth

    Hi,
    Try seeing the log messages after doing the following setup in the instance :-
    1. Telnet to environment
    1. In $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/oafm/config/oc4j.properties
    1. Add following property at the end of the file : SOA_ENABLE_STANDALONE_LOGGING=TRUE
    2. Bounce oafm container using script $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME/adoafmctl.sh
    3. Perform any SOA specific action like generate.
    SOA specific log would be created at : $INST_TOP/soa/SOALog.log
    This file should show you the exact error happening.
    Thanks,
    Sai.M
