Version 2.0 developer defaults

Question

I've just upgraded to version 2 and although I know that there are many benifets to 2.0 in terms of ease of development, I find that for a developer the user interface has changed for the worse.
Tthe lists and menus use a grey font on a grey background, for me this is very difficult to read.( I don't use reading glasses, yet ) Is there any way I can alter the color of the text so that I do not have to squint to read it? Is there a css file for the developer interface that can be altered?
When viewing a page definition, I prefered the solid dots beside the object links, can this be altered too?
Also, all the buttons have gone from nice template driven ones to clunky system grey. Is there a performance or some other benefit for this?

You can see the grey on grey when viewing the
applications in a workspace in list form or when
change.Ah, I see what you mean, it doesnt bother me, I guess its a personal preference.
Use Firefox with the Web Developer extension and use the View CSS feature to click anywhere on any web page and see the styles in effect and the line in the CSS file they came from, very powerful.
All these styles are in
/i/css/htmldb_V2.cssThe style for all links on the page is
a, a:link, a:visited    (line 10)
    text-decoration: underline;
    color: rgb(127, 127, 127);
}The style for the background on the list of pages region is
table.htmldbMinReport td, table.htmldbStandard3 td    (line 281)
    background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);
Also, on the new drop down menu's the display, before
the moseover effect is grey text on a grey
background.That seems to be controlled by
.dhtmlSubMenu a.dhtmlSubMenuS, .dhtmlSubMenu a.dhtmlSubMenuN    (line 187)
    color: rgb(128, 128, 128);
.dhtmlSubMenu a.dhtmlSubMenuS:hover, .dhtmlSubMenu a.dhtmlSubMenuN:hover    (line 188)
    background-color: rgb(255, 192, 111);Go ahead and change these styles in that CSS file, it wont be supported by Oracle since you are modifying a Oracle-supplied file...
