Versioning Error in weblogic 7.0

Question

What does this error mean in weblogic7.0 : weblogic.common.internal.VersioningError:
No WebLogic packages defined in CLASSPATH ?
I get this while trying to do a JNDI lookup from my application on Iplanet 6.0
to the ejb which is on weblogic server 7.0.
I have made sure that -
a)the weblogic.jar in the client and server are the same
b)The jdk versions used are the same
Any ideas/suggestions?

          Modify the <cewolf:param> tag.
