  • Cash discount amount field in MIRO and FI document

    Hi ,
In MIRO we are overwriting the cash discount amount but for some reason in  the FI document instead of the overwritten cash discount amount SAP is taking the payment term and calculating the discount.
    Any solutions to correct this?
    Thanks

    Hi,
I need to manually populate the discount amount in field:  INVFO-WSKTO (Cash Discount Amount in Document Currency) while capturing FB60/MIRO and not the automatically calculated discount amount(that one is working fine.).
    Thanks,
    Themba

  • Issue Related to Cash Discount in Payment Advice.

    Hi All,
In my Company, We are printing the payment Advice with tranasction FBZ5 by passing the payment document number, company code and fiscal year.
Advice is having different line items for various bills which includes different heads for Gross Amount, TDS, WCT, Cash Discount & LD.
For each bill there is different TDS, WCT as the rates are configured already at the time of billing. but once we going to pay the vondor then at time cash discount is entering for separate bill. Now once we are viewing the payment advice all the line items are populating properly but all the cash discount amounts for different bills are being accumulated and printing in single line item but we want that the cash discount amount should also come separately for separate bill like TDS & WCT.
How I can achieve this requirement.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rajeev.

you do assign payment terms in customer master and it automatically copied in to sales order. After billing if the customer paid the amount with in 7 days then it automatically calculates the discount while entering the incoming payments of customer in F-28 fi people get the information and they settle the account according to payment terms
While defining payment terms u give the date should be document data or posting date etc according to that system will pick the discount to be given and calculates the date

  • Not able to post vendor payment in case of Cash discount received

    Hello
We are on SAP ECC 6.0
I'm not able to post an outgoing payment through F-53 T code when cash discount is received from vendor due to early payment before due date.
I get the following error message -
Tax code V0 for country IN has been deleted or incorrectly changed
    Message no. FS201
Our tax calculation procedure is TAXINN and we are an indian company in India.
GL account for cash discount received is already defined in OBXU t code for SKE transaction key tax code wise.
V0 tax code is defined through FTXP.
I'm able to display correct cash discount amount and cash discount % when i click on select process open item in F-53 after entering document date; posting date; company code; currency; Bank GL A/c; Amount (Net of discount); value date and Vendor Account.
What am i missing? Why am i not able to post vendor outgoing payment?
Is it possible to post cash discount received to the credit of Stock / Inventory Account as quantity received is not consumed or quantity is lying in inventory?
    Thanks.
    Vimal

    Hello Chintan
I have assigned GL A/c in OBXU t code with and without reference to tax code.
Still, i am not able to post outgoing payment when cash discount is received as i am paying it before due date.
Cannot i take credit of cash discount received to Inventory / Stock Account?
Is cash discount received always posted to non-Inventory / non-stock GL Account?
    Thanks.

  • Clearing issue Incoming payment due to Cash discount ( customers)

    Hello,
During processing automatic incoming payments the system don't clear the customer open item in case the customer has taken a cash discount.
The clearing should be done automatically in the posting area 2 but now the the user needs to do manual interventions in the FEBAN in order to clear the customer
We checked the payment terms and verified the discount taken by the customer and they are ok
After investigation we guess that the original SD invoice don't send the Discount amount and Discount base amount to FI, because  we saw that those fields are empty in the FI document (RV),
Also in Billing the Cash discount base field in empty...
When i tried to create a manual customer invoice those fields are well filled in and the system clears the customer open item perfectly !
Any one an idea how to fix it ?

    Hello,
Thanks for your feedback but the issue is not solved.
Is there difference in clearing behaviour in case the open item posting is orginated from  a SD invoice ( Billing) because as stated before, when I make a FI sales invoice (FB60) the system perfectly accepts the cash discount and post and clears in postingarea 2
Also when I consult the open item position (FBL5N) the cash discount amount field is empty which is not the case when I post an FB60 invoice
    Summarized
We are usiing the automatic bank statement program ( FEBC), during posting the system post perfectly posting area 1 (FEBP) but fails the post postingarea 2 ( the system makes a payment advice) the message the system generates ' Difference to large for clearing F5263'
    Many thanks for help

  • F-28 cash discount error

For making payment to the billing document from SD in f-28 t-code, we are getting the cash discount percentage but the cash discount amount is not displying even we specified the payment terms in Sales order creation. Even, if we specify manually the cash discount amount in f-28, its giving an warning message
ERROR : Cash discount-relevant amount is zero; check entry at the bottom left corner of the screen. When I click this warning, I get a pop-up screen with the same message and message no. F5073.
We have maintained the field status as given below:
Also check that in transaction OB41, Payment term is maintained as optional field in field status group Payment Transactions for posting key 31.
Also go to FS00 for the reconciliation account assigned to your vendor, the go to tab 'Create/bank/interest" and double click on the field status gorup.Check that in group Payment Transactions, the field Payment term is marked as optional field.)
And SD pricing for the material is also defined.
condition type : SKTO for the cash discount.
After doing all the abouve configurations, we are still getting the error,.
From FI side, we have no issues as it is giving the cash discount percentage and cash discount amount in f-28 correctly. and we are able to process the cash discount document, which gets generated automatically.
Only the problem From SD flow.

    Dear sir,
Im processing invoice FB-70 for customer DM01 with payment term 0002 (14days cash discount 3%, 30days due date).
But when I Process partial incoming payment (F-28) for 3 times in 14 first days, it doesnt deduct cash discount for each times , but it deduct for amount of receivable.
Help me deduct cash discount for each partial payment.
    Thank you,

    Hi,
<b>Gross Posting:</b> In the case of gross posting, the cash discount amount is not taken into account at goods receipt or invoice receipt. The cash discount amount is not posted until the payment program is run, and then it is posted to a non-operating income account instead of to the stock account in question.
<b>Net Posting:</b> In the case of net posting, the cash discount amount is credited directly to the stock account. However, this procedure affects the stock account only if the material is valuated at a moving average price. If the material is valuated at a standard price, the cash discount is posted as a type of price variance. You can use net posting for goods receipts and in Invoice Verification. If you post the goods receipt net, it is best to post the invoice net; otherwise, the net posting at goods receipt would be canceled.

  • Lockbox / Payment advice and cash discount

    Hello
I am using lockbox (EDI 823) to apply cash to customers. It happens that customers don't take cash discount or just take a partial cash discount. I have implemented exits in program RFBELB20 for other controls and invoice indentification.
When the transaction processed, the payment should be applied to the invoice. However, when it is posted by SAP, cash discount is selected and payment is rejected because the overall payment difference is too big.
In F-28, I can either deactivate the cash discount, or force the cash discount amount, either to zero or to a value less than the maximum cash discount allowed.
In the table AVIP (payment advice detail), I have the fields WSKTO and XAKTS that, I supposed would allow me to do the same as in F-28. But it is not working. I may not fill AVIP with the correct data.
How should I process this ? I can't imagine SAP does not allow this.
    Regards

    Any ideas ?

  • Incorrect Cash Discount info was called during the Invoice Posting in FB01

    Hi,
I'm having an issue where when I post the Invoice via FB01 using a non-default payment term for a specific supplier, FB01 seems to be replacing the Cash Discount information base on the supplier default payment term. I have tried to debug and suspect it was due to the FM#  FI_CHANGE_PAYMENT_CONDITIONS.
It happens whenever there is a payment method insert in the FB01 transaction during  the invoice posting. If the payment method was left blank, there will be no issue on the cash discount.
I saw that there is a fix from SAP for OSS Note 1314271 - Discount days not adjusted after changing Payment term. This fix added a new statement into the FM# shown as bold at the statement below:
        IF i_newsklin NE i_oldsklin OR i_zbdreq = char_x
             OR I_OLDZLSCH NE I_ZLSCH.                                "Note1314271
                          CONCATENATE 'S' status INTO status.
        ENDIF.
In layman term, below will be the summary of the coding above:
IF NewCashDiscount NE OldCashDiscount OR TermOfInstallmentPayment = u2018Xu2019
         OR OldPaymentMethod NE NewPaymentMethod
CONCATENATE 'S' status INTO status. (No idea what is this statement trying to achieve)
      ENDIF
Kindly share with me if you have experienced this before.
Your advice is very much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    David

    Hi Shashi
Cash Discount amount can be modified manually?
Go to the 'Cash Discount' Tab and type the correct discount. The difference may be a result of rounding differences.
    Hope this is useful!

  • Cash Discount on procument value

    Hi All,
We have a scenario in commission basis sale for cash discount as below.
    Procurement.
    Vendor procurement value- 100
Cash discount to vendor if within 5 days - Rs.2
The same procured material will sold to customer.
( In this while receiving the payment from customer cash discount needs to calculate on procurement value)
    Sales.
    Customer Billing value (procurement value + company Commission)= 100+5 = 105
Customer cash discount on procurement value (means 100/-) if customer pays within 5 days = Rs.2/-
The Idea of doing this is cash discount received and paid should be matched,
In FB70 we can maintain cash discount base amount manually or while receiving the payment we manually modify the cash discount amount. But it should be automatically since transactions are in huge valume.
    Kinldy help in this.
    Thanks in Advance

  • Incorrect Cash Discount in F-28

    Hello All,
When we post incoming payments from customers using transaction F-28, what happens is the system calculates incorrect cash discount by 1cent ($0.01).
The cash discount in Invoice is calculated correctly but during the posting (F-28) it is incorrect.
Eg:- The invoice has a cash discount of $281.77, however when we try to receive payment the cash discount comes as $281.76.
I tried finding an OSS but couldn't find one.
    Please advice.
    Thanks,
    Shashi.

  • How can I prevent a negative cash discount?

The logic being used to determine a cash discount for an invoice billing document is:  Total Cost of Materials u2013 Total Freight Cost - Base Value.  Base Value x Cash Discount % = Calculated Cash Discount.  Base Value u2013 Calculated Cash Discount = Total Due if Paid w/ in cash discount period.  We have invoices where the Total Freight Cost is > Total Cost of Materials.  When this occurs the Base Value and Calculated Cash Discount become a negative number.  When the final calculation is executed to determine the Total Due if Paid w/ in cash discount period, rather than being subtracted from the Base Value, the Calculated Cash Discount amount is added.
I'm looking to find out if there is a non-customized way to set the Calculated Cash Discount to zero if the Base Value is a negative number.

    Look into Condition Exclusion.
CDST (Cash discount) and ZDST (Zero Discount)
ZDST will always be 0, Create an exclusion such that if CDST is < ZDST to ignore CDST and take ZDST instead.
That's one way through straight IMG config
