Video Clip on iPhone

I took some video clips on a digicam. How can I import it to view on iPhone? Thx for advice.

Import the video to iTunes and if the video can be viewed with iTunes, select the video and at the menu bar go to Advanced and select Covert Selection for iPod/iPhone.
Then select the video to be transferred form iTunes to your iPhone via your iPhone sync preferences.

Video clips in iPhone 4s doesn't play well

Recently the video clips including video camera and any clips in Facebook in my iPhone 4s doesn't play well. Has anyone experienced this before? Any ideas to solve it?

Basics from the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device. If you've tried ALL of those steps and you're still having problems, you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation.

Have taken many pictures which look good on the iPhone but, does anyone know how i can get the video clips i took with my camera to show? They show fine in iPhoto but nada in the iPhone....!

The videos must be converted to an iPod/iPhone format.
Have you imported the video clips into iTunes?
If the video clips can be viewed in iTunes (they should if they can be viewed in iPhoto) but do not transfer to your iPhone after being selected under the Videos tab for your iPhone sync preferences, iTunes includes an option to convert selection for iPod/iPhone. Follow this by selecting the converted video to be transferred to your iPhone.
If this doesn't work, there are 3rd party conversion utilities for this purpose.

Moving Video Clips from iPhone 4 to iPad

Is there an easy way to move video clips from an iPhone4 to the iPad? I tried sending the videos to MobileMe but when I view them on the iPad, there is no download option offered. I want to move the clips to the iPad to do video editing on a larger screen.

Saving video clips to iPhone Album

I'm using QuickTime Pro to edit a video clip that's in an iPhoto album but I can't then save the amended clip back to the iPhoto album. Does anyone know how to do it?

Just out of interest...in the activity window the video clip is rated as having 0 bytes, even though i can play it on the web page.
Yet when i succesfully carried out your instruction, the quicktime movie saved to my desk top was around 1.6mb in size. So where is that 1.6mb coming from?

When you move or copy the compound clips with their events into an external drive all the events should be there. Not clear on why you want to move them into a single event. You can drag and drop from one event to another.
Why are you using compound clips? You can simply copy the project from each machine with used media onto the external drive and that should do it.

QuickTime Player is not itself able to do this. You need a proper DVD authoring solution such as Apple's iDVD.

Sync it with iTunes, as per > iOS: Syncing with iTunes
Be very careful to follow the on screen instructions and do not remove those items from your iPhone, until your sure that they are actually safely stored in iTunes.

When I rotate my video clip so that is isn't viewed sideways, it has black bars on both sides and some of picture is missing. Can I rotate the image so it plays rightside up without the black bars? The image was taken by an iPhone. I am viewing it on PC

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Slowing down or expanding a video clip in iMovie for iPhone 4

Is there a way to expand a short video clip in iMovie for iPhone 4? I can expand a still image, but not a video clip. I would like to take a video clip that lasts 2 seconds and expand it to 15 seconds or longer. The video clip could be slowed down.
I can do this with still images, so I would think I would be able to do this with video clips. For example, when I insert a still image it defaults to 2 seconds with the ken burns effect. I can then expand or shorten the still image to last as long as I want (from 2 seconds to 10 seconds, for example). However, when I insert a short video clip I am not given that option. When I grab the crop button and try to expand the video clip it stops at the end of the clip.
Any suggestions?

Need a camera that saves video clips in a format the iPhone will read

I have a Samsung digital camera and it takes great photos and video clips. The problem is, they don't sync on my iPhone because they must use a different format than .MOV
It's a big enough issue that I would consider buying a new camera. Can anyone recommend a good camera that, once the videos are imported in iPhoto, will then play nice with the iPhone?

Both the iPhone Quicktime Movie files produced with the File > Export for Web using Quicktime 7 Pro (.m4v and .3gp) play fine on iPhone 4 for me.
Don't have any earlier iPhones handy to test with atm.
That said, the official tech specs do not list that specific file extension as being one iPhone reads: http://support.apple.com/kb/SP587
The .3gp file produced by Quicktime 7 Pro is using the H.264 codec which is supported by iPhone which might be why it still works.

iMovie works best with uncompressed audio. If your track is MP3 or AAC, you may get better results by converting your track to the AIFF format and then using that in iMovie.
You can do this in iTunes. Go to iTunes/Preferences and click the General button. On the General page, click the Import Settings button. Choose IMPORT USING: AIFF ENCODER.
(note: remember what you changed it from so you can change it back later, before you import another CD)
Now, in iTunes, select your track. Then click FILE/CREATE NEW VERSION/AIFF VERSION.
