Video onStatus function not working

Question

Hello,
I'm developing an app that's utilizing a lot of video.
Whenever I integrate a pause/play button the onStatus function
doesn't work. Therefore I can't make the app execute a command
whenever the video stops playing. If I let the video play through
without hitting pause/play, onStatus works. Has anyone encountered
a similar problem?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

hmmm, I just did a test and it worked for me. The I pasted
all the actionscript below. There is text field called status_txt
and a video object called vid_video. I am using softkeys to quit
and pause play. Hope this helps.
