View all approval workItems regardless of approval capability

Hi,
Currently i have a capability where anonymous users can register for an account however this goes through a 2 level approval process. Everything works fine however i want to create an admin role that can see all the approvals and what status they are in. I wanted to use the approvals tab in the admin module however this only shows approvals where the user is explicitely assigned the approver capability. Since everyone in the system can potentially be an approver i do not want to assign everyone the approver role. I know i can customize the approver tab form but how do i change it so that it will display all approvers as opposed to just those users approvals iwth the approver role?
any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am looking to get rid of the dropdown for selecting a users privilege and just show everyones. I just cannot see the workItem for users that don't have the approver capability.

I suspect the poster means more that approvals are not showing for those who are not Approvers.
E.g. in IDM7 you can specify an approver rule for Additional Approvers. If this rule returns a user without the Approver capability, a WorkItem is generated and can ONLY be seen when logged in as that user. It does not appear in the "All Approvers" list when logged in as Configurator, for example.
We worked around this in one case by adjusting the WorkItemListViewer getUsers function to search by outstanding workitems rather than users with the Approver capability. This has the added advantage that the list of approvers to select is exactly those with approvals (and the disadvantage that the "Forward To" list must be separately built).

Hi Pedro,
You'll have to build a report for that. I'd suggest to start from one of the Excel Services sample report based on the timesheet OLAP cube. You'll easily be able to create a pivot table with timesheet per status, users, projects, periods, managers...
SSRS is another path which requires development.

Is there a way to "View All Unread Messages" on my Blackberry on one screen regardless of whether the messages have already been filed in different subject files?

I suspect the poster means more that approvals are not showing for those who are not Approvers.

Hi,
An option would be use Oracle Alert. Create an event based alert on the table where you have order approvals or rejections. This alert will be raised after inserting or updating this table. Create an action linked to this alert, and choose message as action type.
This setup can be done under Alert Manager Responsibility.

Automatically create POs from all approved requisitions

I want to be able to automatically create purchase orders from all approved iProc requisitions (but wont have contract or blanket POs to use)
I can get the suggested buyer added into the iProc shopping cart but want to know best route. Most people seem to have to hack the work flows so that the POs get created.
I thought about using standard interface table to create the POs but believe that link to the requisitions wont be made (problem with reporting and encumberances)
Would be interested in recommendations as to the best way to do this

Do you want to automatically create PO or you want it to be submitted for approval as well?
You may want to consider setting up the automatic sourcing. This way, the ASL and sourcing rules are automatically created when you create the first blanket.

Replica servers showing all Approved updates as 'Unapproved'

Hi WSUS Experts,
In our environment we suffer very often from the following problem - donwstream servers after synchronization show all Approved updates from the upstream server (over 3100) as Unapproved. Hence the files are not on the downstream server.

Are both upstream/downstream patched to same level?
Also, is it just a single downstream?
If there are others are they working?
Did that downstream ever work correctly?
Are there any firewalls in place?
Any error messages in the Windows event logs?
Any errors in softwaredistribution.log?
Are clients receiving updates from the upstream server ok?

How can I view all emails (regardless of account)

On my Mac, I can easily view all of my inboxes at once for the 3 separate mail accounts I have (work, home and one other).
On the iPhone, it seems that I have to keep going back up to the top of the Mail UI and back down into each mail account in order to view new mails... or have I missed some setting/feature that allows me to view all of my incoming mails in one combined inbox (as I can in OS X)?
+(As a side note, the Calendar on the iPhone does allow me to view all of my separate calendars comnbined).+

Hello, unfortunately the iPhone doesn't have a combined inbox - As far as I'm aware this isn;t possible at this time (You're not missing a setting either - I've checked extensively). It's a shame and I certainly look forward to when this is implemented (if it ever is).

Need to view all records with two variables in recordset

Hi - My recordset has two variables used to sort products by popularity and type. But I want a "View all" link that shows all records, in ascending order, regardless of popularity or type. At the moment the .php page is set up to receive either the popularity (varPopular) variable or the product type variable (varGrouping). If neither variable is provided, no products appear on screen. This is my first go at this so be kind,
My question concerns launchpad. Coming from Snow Leopard I had been using spaces. I like to keep certain bundles of programs on separate desktops, for example all word processing related tasks in one place. I have set up the equivalent on Yosemite.
My problem is concerns the loss of exposé. Now I know when you swipe into launch pad you get a very similar effect but the issue I am having concerns the "zoom out" effect when you swipe into launchpad. With exposé all open apps/pages etc would be fully exposed - in my case several (sometimes as many as 9 word documents). What I am running into is when I do this in / into launch pad the "pile" of docs is exposed but they are still overlapping so I can't get a good look at which is which and visually identify where I want to navigate to.
My question is this; Is there a way to adjust the settings on launchpad so that when I swipe into it all the open apps/pages are fully separated (like in exposé) so that I can fully view all of them simultaneously? If so, instructions on how to do so would be greatly appreciated. Any alternative suggestions to doing this outside of launchpad are also welcome. If there is an exposé app for example, I would be quite willing to go that route.
My main concern is being able to quickly (ie a touchpad gesture) expand all the open pages so I can bounce between them.

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

Can not view all the thumbnails in version 9 adobe standard

I recently installed adobe standard 9 running parallel with adobe standard 5.
My end user is claiming of the view setting for patient data. She can not scroll all the way to the bottom
as she could in adobe 5. She can see all the thumbnails minus the last row. I have changed the prefereces to show the same
as adobe 5. However I can not get the correct settting to make it right for her.
Any adivse or trouble shoot steps would be appreciated. Adobe said to update the product, I have done that last night.

How do I do that?

"View All RSS Articles" Sometimes Stops All Pages from Loading

Hi!
I'd like some help with this:
Sometimes, when I view a whole lot of RSS articles in one tab, the content stops loading after one hundred or so articles have come in. After this, no pages will load -- not even a local html file in my home directory.
These message appears in the console:

(event handler):Null value
Memory and CPU don't seem unusually high. I can still close tabs, export bookmarks and do other things with the menus. I just can't load a new page.
Quitting and re-starting Safari is the only way I have found around this problem.

Wow... thanks for trying out those feeds that I suspected. It's a wierd problem, because it does not occur consistently.
I reproduced the error by viewing all RSS articles in my news feeds bookmarks folder, and I used "Start Profiling with Sample" on the Debug menu to create a .sample file, and I stopped profiling when the error recurred a few seconds later.
This produced a ten-thousand-line-long file that may contain useful information.
Here's the console log section:
