View Query with DART

Hi,
I m tring to use the DART tool for extract tax data;
We extact the tax data from 2 separately system SAP ECC6 (S1 et S2) with DART
My question is :
It is possible to use a extract file generate by S1 for executing view query in S2 system with the (FTWH) transaction
Thank you for your help

Hi,
i m answer my self about this question
it is possible to use a extraction file generated by S2 system in S1 system to query directely this file and we can also to use this file by view query transaction
The only restriction is to use the same technical configuration for the both systems FTWP (technicals options)

  • MSSQL view query with datediff creates undefined query variable

    Hi,
    In coldfusion 9 i use a view as a table, defined in a MSSQL 2005 db. nothing weird so far.
    code:
    <cfquery name="viewQuery" datasource="foo">
         select bar from ViewTable where datediff(d,date1, date2) = 0
    </cfquery>
    When the result is 0 de ViewQuery variable is undefined, in previous versions it wasn't the case, because it acted like a normal table.
    Is this going to stay this way or is it a bug?
    Kind regards,
    Chris

    You need to bear in mind that CF has no understanding of SQL or DB constructs (like the difference between a table and a view, for instance).  All CF does with whatever is between <cfquery> tags is to pass it to the JDBC driver, which in turn passes it to the DB.  Then the DB processes it.
    If you're getting unexpected results with your code... it's the DB that's doing something unexpected with them!  Now this might be down to the settings in you datasource or something like that, or the security levels that the user the datasource is configured to use, or something like that, but it's nowt to do with CF.
    There's a slim chance it might be something to do with the JDBC drivers that ship with CF9 (there have been other issues reported with them), so if all else fails, perhaps retrograde to the drivers that shipped with CF8 and see if that helps.

  • How to view a BI query with anonymous user in the portal

    <b>Hi Gurus,</b>
    Does anybody knows how to view a BI query in the portal with anonymous user?
    Cause when i try to view a query the portal always ask for authentification. And i don't want to sign with a user cause my portal is for everybody and if the user logged in it shows the roles that previously were assigned.
    I have the Netweaver 2004 with SP9
    <b>Thank you Very Much</b>

    do you have sso configured between portal and BW server, if yes the authentication pop up should not come.
    if you dont want to do sso between portal and bw server and still want to logon to BW query with anonymous user,
    in you bw server go to transaction sicf and navigate to DEFAULT_HOST->SAP->BW->BEX and double click on bex node in the resulting window, log on details section provide a default userid/password

  • Need help with SQL Query with Inline View + Group by

    Hello Gurus,
    I would really appreciate your time and effort regarding this query. I have the following data set.
    Reference_No---Check_Number---Check_Date--------Description-------------------------------Invoice_Number----------Invoice_Type---Paid_Amount-----Vendor_Number
    1234567----------11223-------------- 7/5/2008----------paid for cleaning----------------------44345563------------------I-----------------*20.00*-------------19
    1234567----------11223--------------7/5/2008-----------Adjustment for bad quality---------44345563------------------A-----------------10.00------------19
    7654321----------11223--------------7/5/2008-----------Adjustment from last billing cycle-----23543556-------------------A--------------------50.00--------------19
    4653456----------11223--------------7/5/2008-----------paid for cleaning------------------------35654765--------------------I---------------------30.00-------------19
    Please Ignore '----', added it for clarity
    I am trying to write a query to aggregate paid_amount based on Reference_No, Check_Number, Payment_Date, Invoice_Number, Invoice_Type, Vendor_Number and display description with Invoice_type 'I' when there are multiple records with the same Reference_No, Check_Number, Payment_Date, Invoice_Number, Invoice_Type, Vendor_Number. When there are no multiple records I want to display the respective Description.
    The query should return the following data set
    Reference_No---Check_Number---Check_Date--------Description-------------------------------Invoice_Number----------Invoice_Type---Paid_Amount-----Vendor_Number
    1234567----------11223-------------- 7/5/2008----------paid for cleaning----------------------44345563------------------I-----------------*10.00*------------19

    4653456----------11223--------------7/5/2008-----------paid for cleaning------------------------35654765-------------------I---------------------30.00--------------19
    The following is my query. I am kind of lost.
    select B.Description, A.sequence_id,A.check_date, A.check_number, A.invoice_number, A.amount, A.vendor_number
    from (
    select sequence_id,check_date, check_number, invoice_number, sum(paid_amount) amount, vendor_number
    from INVOICE
    group by sequence_id,check_date, check_number, invoice_number, vendor_number
    ) A, INVOICE B
    where A.sequence_id = B.sequence_id

  • Query with order by & View/procedure

    1)I have a query its getting joined with few tables and the base table contains 12 billion rows . my issue is when I execute the query with necessary parameter am getting the result in few seconds . but when I add an order by for any column am not getting the result even after 15 minuts.
    The sort column is an indexed column and I have even tried with the primary column of the base table but no change .. is there any way to make it faster with order by ??
    2)I have got a view which also getting joined with few high volume tables . when I call the view with required parameter am not getting the result even after 15 minutes.. but when I took out the query of the view and hardcode the value am getting the result in 3 seconds . so I just made it to a procedure that returns a cursor . now its working fine .. could you please explain me the reason for this ….??
    Please help …

    Your view very likely prevented predicate pushing and by manually adding the predicate inside the query, you changed the semantics of the query.
    Your view contains a rownum column. This prevents predicate pushing because the semantics of the query changes. An example to clarify:
    SQL> explain plan

      3  select *

  • View Object with ?-style query parameters - best place to locate code

    I am using a View Object with ?-style parameters, with a JClient applet. The query
    paramters are filled in from user-entered data:
    viewObject.setWhereClauseParams(parms); /* parms is the user data*/
    viewObject.executeQuery();
    Right now the above code is located in the applet. Is it more efficient to code this as a
    method in the ViewObject (or Application Module), then call the method from the Client with
    the supplied parameters?
    I'm still unclear as to how network traffic is affected by running code like this on the client
    as opposed to the server. Maybe someone could point me to a comprehensive dic that covers this.

    You may run your application in Events profiler to get a list of 'roundtrip' calls being made in your app.
    Select Project-Settings->Profiler panel->Events panel.
    Deselect all events, expand BC4J events and select REMOTE_METHOD_CALL event type (1016). Then Profile your app using the event profiler and the profiler will list all the calls that BC4J roundtrip calls. You may use this info to narrow down the roundtrips by batching up operations in an exported method etc.

  • DART: Generate program for data view query:RTXWGQ01

    Hi all,
    We've this program RTXWGQ01 which is generating programs for data view queries.
    I'd like to know what is this data view which is there on the selection screen of this program?
    Can we define Z data views, if so how? If we directly run this program in production for a data view does it automatically generate an executable program?
    Is there any transaction which runs this program in background?
    Regards
    Deepthi.

    Hi,
    i m answer my self about this question
    it is possible to use a extraction file generated by S2 system in S1 system to query directely this file and we can also to use this file by view query transaction
    The only restriction is to use the same technical configuration for the both systems FTWP (technicals options)

  • VIEW Query Problem

    Hi Greg,
    I had created a view on a table which doesn't have Primary Key, but it has Unique and Not Null constraints on required columns.
    I had wrote a procedure to query the data on VIEW. I have experienced strange problem, very first call to procedure will take more time than succeeding requests. For example from second request onwards, it returns data in < 2 Sec, but first transaction is taking 12 Sec to 30 Sec.
    I thought that very first time VIEW is taking time to refresh it self. So, I added FORCE keyword in CREATE VIEW stattement. However, that doesn't helped out.
    In my further investigation I came to know that base table on which VIEW created, has to be loaded in to memory before querying on VIEW.
    So, I had executed a simple select statement on base table, before I execute VIEW query in procedure.
    With this change I got results consistently < 2 Sec all the times.
    My question is instead of executing the select statement on base table is there a way to load base tables data in memory before querying on VIEW?
    Thanks,
    Subbarao

    Hi,
    A view is nothing but parsed SQL statements stored in the database, a view may or may not run faster. If you execute the SQL used to define the view how much time is it taking. If you want try looking at MATERIALIZED VIEW , that may help you.
    thanks

  • Issue with SQL Query with Presentation Variable as Data Source in BI Publisher

    Hello All
    I have an issue with creating BIP report based on OBIEE reports which is done using direct SQL. There is this one report in OBIEE dashboard, which is written using direct SQL. To create the pixel perfect version of this report, I am creating BIP data model using SQL Query as data source. The physical query that is used to create OBIEE report has several presentation variables in its where clause.
    select TILE4,max(APPTS), 'Top Count' from
    SELECT c5 as division,nvl(DECODE (C2,0,0,(c1/c2)*100),0) AS APPTS,NTILE (4) OVER ( ORDER BY nvl(DECODE (C2,0,0,(c1/c2)*100),0))  AS TILE4,
    c4 as dept,c6 as month FROM
    select sum(case  when T6736.TYPE = 'ATM' then T7608.COUNT end ) as c1,
         sum(case  when T6736.TYPE in ('Call Center', 'LSM') then T7608.CONFIRMED_COUNT end ) as c2,
         T802.NAME_LEVEL_6 as c3,
         T802.NAME_LEVEL_1 as c4,
         T6172.CALENDARMONTHNAMEANDYEAR as c5,

         T802.DEPT_CODE as c7
    from

    and (T6736.TYPE in ('Call Center', 'LSM')) )
    group by T802.DEPT_CODE, T802.NAME_LEVEL_6, T802.NAME_LEVEL_1, T6172.CALENDARMONTHNAMEANDYEAR, T6172.CALENDARMONTHNUMBERINYEAR

    When I try to view data after creating the data set, I get the following error:
    Failed to load XML
    XML Parsing Error: mismatched tag. Expected: . Location: http://172.20.17.142:9704/xmlpserver/servlet/xdo Line Number 2, Column 580:
    Now when I remove those Presention variables (@{PV1}, @{PV2}) in the query with some hard coded values, it is working fine.
    So I know it is the PV that's causing this error.
    How can I work around it?
    There is no way to create equivalent report without using the direct sql..
    Thanks in advance

    I have found a solution to this problem after some more investigation. PowerQuery does not support to use SQL statement as source for Teradata (possibly same for other sources as well). This is "by design" according to Microsoft. Hence the problem
    is not because different PowerQuery versions as mentioned above. When designing the query in PowerQuery in Excel make sure to use the interface/navigation to create the query/select tables and NOT a SQL statement. The SQL statement as source works fine on
    a client machine but not when scheduling it in Power BI in the cloud. I would like to see that the functionality within PowerQuery and Excel should be the same as in Power BI in the cloud. And at least when there is a difference it would be nice with documentation
    or more descriptive errors.

  • Spatial vs. materialized views/query rewrite

    Dear all,
    we are trying to use Spatial (Locator) functionality together with performance optimization using materialized views and query rewrite, and it does not seem to work. Does anybody has experience with this?
    The problem in more detail:
    * There is a spatial attribut (vom Typ GEOMETRY) in our table;
    * we define a materialized view on that table;
    * we run a query that could be better answered using the materialized view with query rewrite;
    *the optimizer does not choose the plan using the materialized view, query rewrite does not take place;
    This happenes, even if neither the materialized view, nor the query contains the spatial attribut.
    The explanation given by the procedure DBMS_MVIEW.Explain_Rewrite is:
    "QSM-01064 query has a fixed table or view Cause: Query
    rewrite is not allowed if query references any fixed tables or views"
    We are using Oracle 9R2, Enterprise Edition, with locator. Nevertheless, it would also be interesting, if there is any improvement in 10g?
    A more complicated task, using materialized views to optimize spatial operations (e.g., sdo_relate) would also be very interesting, as spatial joins are very expensive operations.
    Thanks in advance for any comments, ideas!
    Cheers,
    Gergely Lukacs

    FOR i IN 1..Rewrite_Array.count
    LOOP
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(Rewrite_Array(i).message);
    END LOOP;

    The messages you get are:
    QSM-01064 query has a fixed table or view
    Cause: Query rewrite is not allowed if query references any fixed tables or views.
    Action: No action required.
    QSM-01019 no suitable materialized view found to rewrite this query
    Cause: There doesn't exist any materialized view that can be used to rewrite this query.
    Action: Consider creating a new materialized view.
    i.e. query rewrite does not work!
    If this works, the next issue is to use materialized views for optimizing spatial operations, e.g., a spatial join. I can supply you with an example, if necessary (only makes sense, I think, after the first problem is solved).
    Thanks in advance for any ideas, comments!

  • Query with date in where clause

    hi,
    i have build a view with join conditions from 8 tables. the data from this view is more then 100,000
    when i run the query with different clause its work with some seconds. but when i put date column in where cluase it sleeps.
    eg..
    where unit_id = 4 and t_id = 's09' and vb like '%amb%'
    works fine.
    where unit_id = 4 and t_id = 's09' and vb like '%amb%' and date between dt1 and dt2
    now sleep
    please ......give me some suggestions

  • Input query with dynamic actual & forecast values by month per year

    Hello,
    I am working on a Input ready query for a forecasting application which shows both actuals and forecast numbers and the user will revise the forecast numbers by month
    Requirement: I want to build a Input query for monthly forecasting for the current year. It will be dynamic rolling of months with actuals & forecast data.
    E.g. My report has 12 months for the current year
    and if run the report in May, the months before May has to show the actuals and the months after May has to show the old forecast data so that the user will revise the numbers again in each month and save the data to the real time cube.
    Jan.Feb.Mar.Apr.May.Jun.Jul.Aug.Sept.Nov.Dec
    Act Act  Act Act Act  Old frcst for the remaining months
      user will revise forecast for these months
    So, i am able to create Input query with all restricted key figures( plan kf has change mode set to change, actual kf are not set change) and calculate key figures and all the logic is done on dynamically moving/rolling the data based on the input month of the year.
    But the problem is that i am using cal kf to dynamically roll months, i was not able to set the change option for the cal kf.
    So, how can i make sure that the dynamically changed plan months will open for entering forecast and the actuals months not to change?
    Do you guys have any better solutions in implementing it?
    I really appreciate it your input....:)
    Thanks,
    Srini

    Hi,
    Please look at the following DOC which may be useful to you and if so please grant me point.

    Input-Ready Query
    Use
    You use input-ready queries to create applications for manual planning. These can range from simple data entry scenarios to complex planning applications.
    Integration
    You define a query that you want to use for manual planning in the BEx Query Designer (see Defining New Queries).
    In the Web Application Designer or the BEx Analyzer, you can combine the input-ready queries with other queries and planning functions to create complex planning applications.
    Prerequisites
    You can define an input-ready query on any of the following InfoProviders:
    &#9679;     Aggregation levels (see Aggregation Levels)
    &#9679;     MultiProviders that include at least one simple aggregation level
    The aggregation levels are created in the planning modeler; MultiProviders are defined in the modeling functional area of the Data Warehousing Workbench.
    Features
    Definition of an Input-Ready Query
    Once you have defined a query on an InfoProvider, you see the Planning tab page under the Properties of structural components (for example, in key figures or restricted key figures). The options provided there allow you to determine which structural components of an input-ready query are to be input ready at runtime and which are not. With structural components that are not input ready, you can also determine whether these components are viewed as reference data or are just protected against manual entry.
    For the structural components, you also have the following options:
    Input readiness of structural components of a query
    Option
    Description
    Not input ready (reference data)
    If they are being used as reference data, the structural components are not protected by data locks to ensure exclusive access for one user because this data serves as a reference for many users.
    This is the default setting.
    Not input ready (no reference data)
    If you want to protect structural components against manual entries but allow changes by planning functions, you can use locks to protect this data for one particular user. In this way you can ensure that the planning function works with the displayed data only and not with data that has been changed by other users.
    Input ready
    You can also determine whether an input ready query is to be started in change mode or in display mode. You find this property in the Query Properties on the Planning tab page. If there is at least one input-ready query component, the query (as long as it has not been determined otherwise) is started in display mode.
    In BI applications that use input ready queries as data providers, you can enter data manually at runtime. For more information, see Performing Manual Planning and Creation of Planning Applications.
    Example
    You want to create an input-ready query for manual planning for a plan-actual comparison of revenues for a set of products. You want the plan data in a real-time-enabled InfoCube and the actual data in a standard InfoCube.
           1.      Create a MultiProvider that includes the InfoCubes for the plan and actual data.
           2.      Define an aggregation level on the MultiProvider which contains the characteristic Product and the key figure Revenue.
           3.      On the aggregation level, create two restricted key figures Plan Revenue and Actual Revenue. For restriction, choose the characteristic 0INFOPROV and restrict it to the plan or actual InfoCube.
           4.      Add the restricted key figures to the key figure structure. Insert Product into the rows. For Plan Revenue, choose Input Ready for the input-readiness option. For Actual Revenue, choose the option Not Input Ready (Reference Data).
           5.      In the query properties, set the indicator that determines whether the queries are started in display or change mode as required.
    Example of an input-ready query
    Product
    Plan Revenue
    Actual Revenue
    P01
    20
    P02
    30
    If you want to keep actual and plan data in a real-time enabled InfoCube, you do not require a MultiProvider for the task described above. Create an aggregation level on the InfoCube and define the input-ready query for the aggregation level. In the example above, a version characteristic acts as the InfoProvider. Create restricted key figures with the plan or actual version and proceed as in the previous example.

  • Af:iterator and view accessors with bind variables

    I have a page with an af:iterator where I list up each row in a form layout. On each row there are 2 SelectOneChoice items where the current value is provided by the row. The 2 LOVs are Master-Detail-LOVs. The value of the first one restricts the values of the second one.
    Each LOV is represented by a LOV view object in a shared application module. The view object for the second LOV contains a view criteria with a selection on the column where the value is provided by the first LOV. The value for the restriction is passed via Bind Variable.
    <af:iterator id="i_images" value="#{bindings.Image.collectionModel}" var="row" rows="0" varStatus="vs">
    <af:selectOneChoice value="#{row.bindings.Master.inputValue}" label="#{bindings.Master.label}" id="soc_master" autoSubmit="true">
    <f:selectItems value="#{row.bindings.Master.items}"
    id="si3"/>
    </af:selectOneChoice>
    <af:selectOneChoice value="#{row.bindings.Detail.inputValue}" label="#{bindings.Detail.label}" id="soc2" partialTriggers="soc_master">
    <f:selectItems value="#{row.bindings.Detail.items}"
    id="si2"/>
    </af:selectOneChoice>
    The view accessor for both LOVs have the settings:
    Row Level Bind Values = true
    SharedInstance = false
    BTW: If I modify one the two view accessor the value for Row Level Bind Values disappear.
    The value for the bind variable on the view accessor is "Master" like the name of the column.
    On loading the page for the first time the LOVs and the values are properly resolved. The master LOV provides the list with all values and the Detail LOV is restricted corresponding the value of the Master LOV. Upon changing the value of the Master LOV the Detail LOV is reloaded, because of the partial trigger, but now the Detail LOV contains all the values as if now View Criteria has been provided.
    We implemented this scenario in an af:query and it worked fine. Are there any restrictions for View Accessors when using an af:iterator??
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Thomas
    P.S.: We're using JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0

  • View Object with User Defined Type input

    I am trying to use a View Object with a query that requires a user defined object as an input parameter.
    I have the query working with a PreparedStatement, but would like to use a View Object.
    When I use the PreparedStatement, I prepare the user defined type data like this:
    // get the data into an object array
    Object[] wSRecObjArr = wSRec.getObjectArray();
    // set up rec descriptor
    StructDescriptor WSRecDescriptor = StructDescriptor.createDescriptor("WS_REC",conn);
    // populate the record struct
    STRUCT wSRecStruct = new STRUCT(WSRecDescriptor,conn,wSRecObjArr);
    Then I can use this in the PreparedStatement like this:
    OraclePreparedStatement stat = null;
    ResultSet rs = null;
    stat = (OraclePreparedStatement)conn.prepareStatement("Select test_pkg.test_function(?) FROM DUAL");
    stat.setSTRUCT(1, wSRecStruct);
    rs = stat.executeQuery();
    I would like to do the same process with a View Object instead of the PreparedStatement.
    My question is "How do I create the input objects"?
    I obtain the View Object from the Application Module using findViewObject(). I don't actually have a connection object to pass into the StructDescriptor.createDescriptor method.
    I have tried just using Java Object Arrays (Object[]) to pass the data, but that gave an error:
    oracle.jbo.SQLStmtException: JBO-27122: SQL error during statement preparation.
    Any help or pointers are greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Custom domains are the way to go.
    When I try to pass custom domains that represent my user defined types - it works.
    However, one of the functions requires a table of a user defined type be passed in.
    I tried creating a domain of the table type. It forces me to add a field during creation (in JDEV), so I tried adding a field of type Array of Element of the domain representing the user defined type.
    I populate the table by setting the field I created, but the table is empty in PL/SQL (TEST_TAB.COUNT = 0).
    I also tried passing the oracle.jbo.domain.Array object, but that produced an error:
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06553: PLS-306: wrong number or types of arguments in call
    I also tried passing Object[], but that produced an error:
    oracle.jbo.SQLStmtException: JBO-27122: SQL error during statement preparation.
    How do I properly create, and pass an domain that represents a table of a user defined type?
    When I use a OraclePreparedStatement, I can pass a oracle.sql.ARRAY using stat.setARRAY.
    Thank you for the help you have provided, and any future advice.
