View the class debugging

I am able to debug an application but when I step into a method it steps through the classes but I cannot view the class in Weblogic Workshop 8.1. It just shows everything in the "Locals" debugging window. I need to actually see the class I am stepping through. What do I need to configure or setup to do that?

Hi,
The requirement is to get access in coding to the entities of a filtered tableview in an assignment block.
If you have a table view in an assignment block with eg. 10 records, and then user in webclient sets a filter on one or more of the columns in the view, then display will show eg. 2 rows instead of 10. So question is how in coding to get access to these 2 filtered records displayed in view ?
Example could be the view:  CRMCMP_GS_WC/TodaysTasks
When filtering this view, I want to count the records displayed in view.
From the code below, I expected the iv_rows to have the value 2 (as the filtered view contains 2 records). But it has value 10 as is number of total records in non-filtered view.
The iterator iv_iterator also contains 10 entities, and I can't see in iterator which entity is to be displayed or not.
The getter method of one of the attributes in view is also called 10 times, eventhough there are only 2 records in filtered view.
data: iv_rows type SYTABIX.
data: iv_filtered_rows type string.
data: iv_iterator type ref to IF_BOL_BO_COL_ITERATOR.
iv_rows = Resultnew->GET_TABLE_SIZE( ).
iv_iterator = Resultnew->GET_ITERATOR( ).
When debugging from the DO_HANDLE_EVENT, which is called when user filters an assignment block table view, I can't see how and where framework uses the filter information to, which methods I should redefine to get access to the context of the filtered records in view.
I hope this clarifies my request.
Thanks, I hope someone can assist on this one, as I guess that it should be general requirements for a UI developer from time to time to work in coding of filtered data. But can't seem to find any information/ docs about this issue.

  • Viewing the *.class and applet.class

First of all: I use Java on Windows 98 (path c:\jdk1.1.8\bin\java and c:\jdk1.1.8\bin\appletview).
    My problems are:
    1. I cann't view my *.class files. When I try to open HalloWorld.class with c:\jdk1.1.8\java I just only see the command window of DOS for a while and then nothing.
    2. When *.class is configured to be viewed by c:\jdk1.1.8\java every one will have problem viewing applet_file.class.
    Please help!

Hmm.... if this is not a trick question: no one can "view" a class file. it is the compiled version of a "YourProgram.java" file. to edit a program, you edit the "text" file ( YourProgram.java ) and NOT the YourProgramName.class file which is created by the compiler when you compile a java file. In short, you cannot edit a .class file; you edit the .java file. good luck!

For weeks I have been viewing a doggy day care center via their web cam.  This weekend I upgraded to Lion and have been unable to view the center.  I get an error message for Java plug-in 1.6.0_29 ....webcam class not found.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Sorry, don't know what else to suggest unless there's a URL to the problem stream that someone here can try. Otherwise we can't test it to try and determine what might be wrong.
BTW, make sure they're testing it with a Mac, not with a Windows system. If they test only with Windows, what they say is or is not working doesn't mean much.

The source far java class objects that are not derived from java source objects
(which is the case here, and is typically the case, such as when one loads
classes into the database using loadjava on a jar that contains only .class
files) does not exist in the database (just as it does not exist in a jar which
contains only .class files). So there is essentially no way to view the source, short of extracting the bytecodes and using some decompiling tool. I don't recall what methodologies exist for extracting bytecodes in 8i. As for transferring
the classes to another database, the standard Oracle import/export tool can do this.

  • How can we view the error message numbers in the web ui?

    Dear all,
How can we view the error message numbers in the web ui? It gives the error but no number.  It is possible to debug in web UI so how can we accomplish this?
    Thanks,
    FK

    Hi  Fakhan,
    You can absolutely do that.
    Check the class: CL_BSP_MESSAGES
Also if you want to find out the exact Message Class and Message Number, go to table T100, type text in field TEXT, you will get Message Class and Message number in fields ARBGB and MSGNR respectively.
    I hope this helps.

  • Authorization error when viewing the contents of a cube.

    Hi all,
I created a cube, loaded data into it.  When I want to view the contents I get this below error...
any clues on how to debug this.....
Your user master record is not sufficiently maintained for object Commodity and Company Code Auth object
    Message no. BRAIN805
    Diagnosis
When checking your authorizations for object 'Commodity and Company Code Auth object' (technical name: ZCOMSEC) it was established that you do not have authorization in your user master record for this object (return code 12).
    Procedure
How you continue depends on the return code. See the online documentation for ABAP language element "AUTHORITY-CHECK". Please note:
With a return code of 12, the object 'Commodity and Company Code Auth object' has not been maintained in the user master, meaning there is no profile in the user master record in which this authorization object has been entered. This is, however, absolutely necessary, as all of the authorization objects created in the development class RSR are validated in the 'and' link. If the authorization is missing for only one object, the request is rejected as unauthorized.
Get the person responsible for your authorization to create you a profile containing authorization for object Commodity and Company Code Auth object.
    thanks.

    Hi Kiranmai;
Seems like the Object to execute the viewing contents of the cube is not included in your user profile. you need to go to the T-code SU01 and add the missing object into your profile. Click on the maintain objects at the bottom of the screen this is where you can add this object. If you are not sure which object that you are having this authorization issue,,you can put the trace on it via t-code ST01:Do the following steps.
    1. Go to tcode ST01.
    2. put the trace on your user id. ( can ask this to your  Basis guy if you don't know how to do it).
    3. then execute the view content of the cube.
    4. when you get autho. error, go to the ST01 again, and have the trace off, and view the trace. you will see the name of the Object that needs to be included in your userid via SU01, do not forget to activate and Generate the profile after the addition. The return code 12 is the return type of the object that you are having problems.
    Hope this answers your question.

Its just a naming convention :
    Subcomponent name
Name of a subcomponent of an object type, that is, a parameter or an
exception. The name can consist of alphanumeric characters and the
special characters underscore (_) and forward slash (/).
The name may only contain uppercase letters. The Class Builder
automatically converts lowercase letters into uppercase. However, if you
use the Class Library API to insert a name, there is no automatic
        conversion, and an error occurs.
Yes you  can define internal table in Method and its same has writing a program in SE30  like can call function module etc in method.
You can debug BAPI method by entering into mehtod and type  /h (where you write transaction code ) and enter , it will take you to debug mode.

For those who would have the same problem, here is how I could eventually fix it.
Since the Flex Test Drive is sometimes out of sync with flash builder 4, I recreated a project using other help pages on Adobe site :
    Entry point :
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flex/4.0/AccessingData/WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-668f02f4120d422cf08- 7ffd.html
As suggested, I used the New Project wizard to create a new project, with :
    Application server type : J2EE
Check the radio button "Use remote object access service : BlazeDS"
Then, as indicated in following pages (section "Accessing BlazeDS")... :
    file:///C:/Mes%20documents%20C/Commun/Developpement/Documentation/HT-Tracks/AccessingData/ help.adobe.com/en_US/Flex/4.0/AccessingData/WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-668f02f4120d422cf08-7ffe.ht ml#WSbde04e3d3e6474c4-19a3f0e0122be55e1b7-8000
...I selected the "Data / Connect to Data/Services..." menu option, which started the Data/service connection wizard.
There, I selected a BlazeDS (and not Web Services) service type, and everything went fine.
Suggestion to adobe staff : maybe it would be useful to update the Flex Test Drive to reflect Flash Builder 4 ?
Very nice product anyway, so far, congratulations...
    Rgds
    Marc.

    Hi!
Here is part of StrictMath.java code.
    * The class <code>StrictMath</code> contains methods for performing basic
    * numeric operations such as the elementary exponential, logarithm,
    * square root, and trigonometric functions.

    * To help ensure portability of Java programs, the definitions of
    * many of the numeric functions in this package require that they

    * algorithms are available from the well-known network library
    * <code>netlib</code> as the package "Freely Distributable
    * Math Library" (<code>fdlibm</code>). These algorithms, which
    * are written in the C programming language, are then to be
    * understood as executed with all floating-point operations

  • How to view the sql query?

    hi,
how to view the sql query formed from the xml structure in the receiver jdbc?

You can view SAP Note at
    http://service.sap.com/notes
But you require SMP login ID for this which you should get from your company. The content of the notes are as follows:
    Reason and Prerequisites
You are looking for additional parameter settings. There are two possible reasons why a feature is available via the "additional parameters" table in the "advanced mode" section of the configuration, but not as documented parameter in the configuration UI itself:
Category 1: The parameter has been introduced for a patch or a SP upgrade where no UI upgrade and/or documentation upgrade was possible. In this case, the parameter will be moved to the UI and the documentation as soon as possible. The parameter in the "additional parameters" table will be deprecated after this move, but still be working. The parameter belongs to the supported adapter functionality and can be used in all, also productive, scenarios.
Category 2. The parameter has been introduced for testing purposes, proof-of-concept scenarios, as workaround or as pre-released functionality. In this case, the parameter may or may not be moved to the UI and documentation, and the functionality may be changed, replaced or removed. For this parameter category there is no guaranteed support and usage in productive scenarios is not supported.
When you want to use a parameter documented here, please be aware to which category it belongs!
    Solution
The following list shows all available parameters of category 1 or 2. Please note:
Parameter names are always case-sensitive! Parameter values may be case-sensitive, this is documented for each parameter.
Parameter names and values as documented below must be used always without quotaton marks ("), if not explicitly stated otherwise.
The default value of a parameter is always chosen that it does not change the standard functionality
    JDBC Receiver Adapter Parameters
    1. Parameter name: "logSQLStatement"
                  Parameter type: boolean
Parameter value: true for any string value, false only for empty string
Parameter value default: false (empty String)
                  Available with: SP9
                  Category: 2
                  Description:
When implementing a scenario with the JDBC receiver adapter, it may be helpful to see which SQL statement is generated by the JDBC adapter from the XI message content for error analysis. Before SP9, this can only be found in the trace of the JDBC adapter if trace level DEBUG is activated. With SP9, the generated SQL statement will be shown in the details page (audit protocol) of the message monitor for each message directly.
This should be used only during the test phase and not in productive scenarios.
    Regards,
    Prateek

  • How can I call the Class and have a PDF appear in seperate window?.

I would like to call the class/interface ZCL_UIU_PRN_ACCOUNT2, method Collect_data and have a Smartform executed to produce a PDF document in a Seperate window.
Where I have an issue is in opening another window to display the PDF.
I know the Standard PDF Facsheet does exactly this, but that is triggered via the Web browser and calls a Java script, avoiding and events and round-server trip processing. I would have changed the button values so that when pressed it does process the various events and eventually ends up at EH_ONPREVIEW for the BP_HEAD/Overview. I know just need to open a new window and call the process to create the PDF via Smartform.
Any suggestions would be more than welcome. I have spent so much time on this, and have gained no real ground, so far.
