ViewBox changes size of items

I am designing a metro app and I want it to be able to support different screen resolutions. I have a ScrollViewer in my app with the following code:

</ScrollViewer>
I added a viewbox around that with this code:
<Viewbox Margin="0">
<ScrollViewer Margin="300,200,10,10">
</ScrollViewer>
</Viewbox>
After I added the viewbox the size and position of the ScrollViewer changed. How do I stop the ViewBox from changing that?

That's a pretty general question. If its a path, the functionality you need is in the AIPath.h header; if its something else you need the correct suite to deal with it. I'd start by playing around with the SDK's examples -- they have something solid code that shows how you modify paths & other basic a Illustrator art types. If you run into trouble come back with a more specific question -- asking how you modify art in general is simply to broad a topic.

I changed the widh and height of the selected items. While converting stroke weight of the selected item also changed. But i need to change the width and height of the selected items without any modification in the stroke weight(scale strokes and effects). Could you please advice me the possiblilities and solution via scripting.

When I change size of icons or icon vs list display, why does it affect the whole computer?

When I change size of icons, or icon vs list display, why does it affect the whole computer? In some folders I want to see a list and others I want to see an icon and I don't need a large icon in all folders. I used to be able to set each folder separately in the old OS. How do I fix this?

I can hilight an item, go to the finder/file/getinfo but there is no box next to icon view.
I can go to view/options and adjust the icon size etc, but this applies to every folder in the whole computer. I need varied options in different folders, i.e., I want to view images as icons and text as text. I have to change it every time I open a folder. I used to be able to set it per folder in the old OS.

VirtualizingStackPanel scrollbar changes size while scrolling

Hi,
I have a page in a metro style app which is based off the grouped items page template. It uses a VirtualizingStackPanel as the items panel for the grouped items and a wrapgrid for the items in a group. The horizontal scrollbar thumb for the page changed
size while a user scrolls. This makes it difficult for a user with a mouse, but it does it with touch scrolling as well.
When a create another blank app with the grouped items page template is behaves the same way out of the box. Is there something I can do or is this a bug?

How to change size memory for an application under Classic ?

When I ask informations on my OS 9 application under OS X.4.4, I can no more change size memory ! I can no more use my application with Classic... ???

ROYCH: This is partly guesswork, but I think it may explain why your problem occurs.
When OS X is controlling your computer (as it always does on a Mini), the file Type and Creator attributes that OS 9 uses to identify different kinds of files are not used. OS X ignores them in files that have them. Files that are only used by OS X don't have them at all. When you create a new application in Classic mode under OS X, those attributes may not be assigned to it, so the new application may not have any.
But if you copy the new application to a computer running OS 9, and those attributes are missing, the OS 9 computer will have no idea what sort of file it is. OS 9 won't even know it's an application. To prevent that, I'm guessing that OS X somehow builds clues into the file that enable OS 9 to identify it as an application, and to give it the Type attribute APPL. I believe any file in OS 9 that has that Type attribute will display the Memory menu item in its Get Info window — not only in OS 9, but in OS X. So after you copy your compiled application onto a computer running OS 9 and then back onto your Mini, it has the APPL attribute, and the Memory item is available in its Get Info box.
I have one application, File Buddy, that can (among many other abilities) display and edit the OS 9 Type and Creator attributes of any file while running in OS X. It can be used to assign specific Type and Creator attributes to a file that has none. You could use it to assign the appropriate Type and Creator attributes to your compiled applications while you are running OS X. After you do so, maybe they will display the Memory menu item in their OS X Get Info boxes.
If this works, File Buddy can apply the same changes in Type and Creator to a whole folder full of files at once. That would be an easy way for you to accomplish the same thing for several compiled applications instantly, without having to copy them to a computer running OS 9.
I don't create applications, so I can't test this procedure to see whether it works. I will be interested to hear what happens if you experiment with File Buddy.
But after saying all this, I really have no idea whether the message you're seeing about insufficient memory is meaningful or spurious. You may go through the whole rigmarole of changing the memory allocation for your compiled applications, only to find that doing so still doesn't enable you to open them. I'll be interested to hear whether that's true, too. Good luck.

Expected behaviour?: input controls change size with iterator in findMode

I'm trying to work out if the following is expected behaviour with the JDev 11g ADF Faces RC input components or a bug, before lodging a support request.
I've noticed that fields resize themselves based on the parent bound iterator being in find mode (as separate to the default execute (show) mode). This causes all sorts of havoc with page layout when switching between the 2 modes.
To demonstrate the code I have a simple inputText control with a hardcoded column size, and a Find commandButton:

I've recorded this following ScreenToaster session to show you the behaviour under Firefox. It's a standard search form dragged straight from the data control window. I haven't modified the columns attr at all, each component column is bound #{bindings.<fieldname>.hints.displayWidth}.
Note when the Find button is pressed the fields change size to set defined width, then after the Execute button is pressed they go back to their dynamic sizes (presumably coming from the binding):

Problem with dynamic change a page item value

I'm trying to dynamically calculated the value of an item based on a simple formula that involves the multiplication of two elements from the same page.
To do this, create dynamic action as follows:

When altering the P19_DURATION get no change in P19_AMOUNT
Since my knowledge of javascript is almost zero, I'm trying to do this with pl / sql or sql. Try the dynamic action with a function or a PL / SQL statement and nothing works.
Have to use javascript for this?
Searching the forum I think it's something simple, but I did not find an example similar to what I need.

I click on a link or start typing text in a box on a webpage, any page, and the browser window either randomly changes size, reduces & goes to the toolbar, or some other strange random thing occurs. Why is this?

Whenever I am using Firefox, when I am on a webpage (any webpage) & I either click on a link in that page, start typing in a box, click on a button, or click on a tab, the browser window either reduces to the toolbar, or just changes size, usually from full-screen to 2/3 of its size. I reinstalled Firefox (downloaded from the web) after wiping my hard drive because I was having so many problems from my browser constantly crashing, to the computer itself crashing often, to the computer running exceptionally slow. At first everything seemed fine. But then after having opened my computer a few times, a few different windows began to freeze, then that stopped, then this thing with the browser started a few times later after opening it. Now it does it every time I open it. Also, whenever I try to click on a button on other windows on my computer, I get the 'warning' sound, nothing happens, then after a couple more tries, the button works. All of this is just weird. I had antivirus protection on my computer, but it apparently did not catch whatever virus infected my computer, or the damage was already done when it did get it. I thought once the hard drive was wiped, that everything would be ok, but then these weird things began to start up, and now I am wondering.... Of course, it could also be something wrong with the browser, too. I've also had some trouble getting my printer to working again, but I've managed to solve that problem.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

Changes to OITM Item Name replicate to RDR1 Dscription on open order lines

A quick question, does anyone know if it is practical to have changes to an item's Item Name field replicated to sales orders RDR1 Dscription field on orders which have open lines for that item?
Scenario we face is when an item is made 'obsolete' standard practice is to mark it inactive and edit the OITM Item Name field to contain 'Obsolete'.
We may have sales orders with lines open for this obsolete part which we need to be automatically updated if the original data changes.

EXIT to change / add line items during STO PO creation in T.Code ME21N

Can somebody suggest me a EXIT or a BADI to change / add line items during STO PO creation in T.Code ME21N.
The requirement is as below.
When the user enters a material no ( which has a BOM created in CS01), and presses enter or saves the PO, i need to get the sub components of the BOM and populate them as the next line items.
This is because the user needs to create the delivery with reference to the PO. In the delivery, the BOM material needs to be populated with all the sub components of the BOM.
I tried to do it using EXIT_SAPMM06E_013 in which i am able to change / add the line items in the XEKPO and YEKPO internal tables. The entries are available in the internal table when the EXIT is executed.
But when the PO is posted internally, the item is not changed/added.

Enable change logs for item level of Sales Document

On transaction VA02, additional screen field (Booking Date) is added (& consequently 2 appends with date field in the tables VBAK & VBAP).
When this date is changed in the header, the corresponding dates are changed in the item level as well.
However, the change documents are created only for table VBAK (though item data is updated in VBAP also).
When the date is changed at the item level, the change logs are created for the corresponding field in table VBAP.
The data element has 'Change Document' checked.
How can I activate the change to be logged for the item level (VBAP), when the date is changed at header level (VBAK)?

Maybe set a breakpoint in include MV45AF0C_CHANGE_DOCUMENT_CREAT
Then check in UPDATE debug mode the value of upd_vbap and the contents of xvbap which are passed on to function VERKBELEG_WRITE_DOCUMENT .
This function creates the change documents based on the data changes.
I would have thought that since the date values are changed at item level as well when you only change it at the header, they should get a change document created automatically, since the dates must be in the XVBAP table (as their value is changed at the DB).
So I would compare the various internal tables for both scenarios (header change, item change) to determine their differences.
After this use one of the user-exits to populate the internal tables for the header scenario based on the values of the item scenario. I would feel this to be a last resort though, since something appears not to be working correctly (I think).

1) when vendor invoice price higher than PO, although knowing that the price is incorrectly quoted by vendor, we need to change the amount in PO reference tab line item according to invoice?
2) the difference in point 1 will hit stock account (map) or price difference.
3) when vendor later on give CN, we need to do subsequent credit.
4) in subsequent credit, need to create with reference to PO.
5) we need to change the amount at PO reference item line according to CN?

You can use invoice reduction - System will create Inoice and credit memo in the same document.
SPRO Steeting require :
1. G/L account should be assigned to RKA trnsaction ket in OBYC.
2. Document type KG should be defined in Transaction code MIRO in customizing for doucment type invoice verification / Valuation in SPRO.
3. Number range should be defined for Doc type KG.

Change FI document items created from MIRO

Hi All
I'm creating invoices with MIRO transaction.
I want to change some document items of FI document related to one invoice, assigning the vendor number of header invoice to the field bseg-lifnr created in FI document.
I have tried with BTEs, substitutions, exit LMR1M001, BADI Invoice_Update and Enhancement in MRM_INVOICE_PREPARE_AND_POST.
I can't find the way to change this field of the FI document during posting with any of these techniques.

I have made a substitution at line level that calls a user exit created in report ZRGGBS000.
This works fine in FI documents created from FI transactions like FB01 but the MIRO execution doesn't pass for it.
Our users are responsible of some profit centers.
They want to know in profit center analysis all invoices that refer to their own profit centers, and who are their respective vendors.
In those analysis, they see GL line items of incomes and expenses and need to know the vendor that origins them.

PO printout is not coming after changing only line item Delivery Address

Can anybody suggest a solution for the problem?
Using ME22N , if I change the line item delivery address details to the already generated manual address number ( Not generated using Transaction MEAN)
If I save the PO then PO Printout is not coming but output message log showing " No print-relevant changes to document XXXXXXXXX exist"
We can read CDHR and CDPOS table for changes .
Is there a way to pass the parameter to the print program to Print the changes?

In IMG - Materials Management- Purchasing-Messages - Fields relevant to Print out of changes
Enter Table EKPO , Reference Field LOEKZ, tick on change print relevant for purchase order,in routine enter 03.
Now your Output will be triggered with a change indicator and you can process it using ME9F.
