Viewing Aging reports
Hi everyone,
In viewing the Business Partner Aging reports, is there a way to fix the columns so that they are
in the proper sequence? Currently, my report shows the following columns:
Future Remit , 0-30 days, Customer Name, 120+ , 31-60, Customer Code etc...
I want it to show:
Customer Name, Balance Due, Future Remit, 0-30, 31-60,61-90 etc...

Which varsion are you using?
i tested your requirement but Customer Name should not display on Customer Aging Report Print in SAP8.8.
but it will be Show in SAP2007B.
It is possible in SAP2007B but i think, It is not possible in SAP8.8
Note
It is not possible to get the some require fields in Standard Report PLD.
You may only add certain TEXT FIELD to it. No way to link any TABLEs(fields) & SYSTEM VARIABLE Fields.
IF you need to print the Customer Name in Customer Aging Report. Try to create QPLD.

New selection criteria of Sales Employee/Buyer is part of enhancements of Aging Reports in SAP Business One 8.8 release.
When you generate the aging report in v8.8:
u2022 You can group the report by customer or sales employee in the customer receivables aging report, and by vendor or buyer in the vendor liabilities aging report.
u2022 You can specify more flexible time interval. For the time interval Days, 4 new fields are added for you to specify the duration.
u2022 You can hide the Future Remit column on the report by choosing Ignore Future Remit.
u2022 When the aging report has been generated, you can view multicustomer/multivendor detailed information in the aging report window. There is no need to double-click each customer/vendor row to view the details.

Vendor Ref. no. not displayed in print preview in vendor aging report
Dear SAP team,
Vendor reference number is not displayed in print preview/print on vendor liabliteis aging report,
but this vendor reference number actually show in report,We are taking report by journal postings,
vendor reference entered in NumAtCard in AP invoice get copied to Ref2 in Journal Entry,then
why it is not showing in print preview/print.
Whether this is an application error / missing functionality ?
We are using SAP Business One 2005 B (7.40.252) SP: 00 PL: 36.
Whether upgrade to latest patch 2005B PL46 will solve this issue ?

I would like to draw your attention to the enhancements we delivered within Aging Report in 2007 version and plan for 8.8 release.
The primary enhancement in 2007 version is reflecting new concept of Internal Reconciliation with more convenient backward reporting.
Within the 8.8 release ...
- when you generate the aging report you can group the report by customer or sales employee in the customer receivables aging report, and by vendor or buyer in the vendor liabilities aging report;
- when the aging report has been generated, you can view multicustomer/multivendor detailed information in the aging report window. There is no need to double-click each customer/vendor row to view the details.
We would strongly to recommend you to upgrade to 2007 version or join the ramp-up of 8.8 release soon.

While executing the vendor & Customer ageing Report, There is no way to give profit center in "dynamic selection button, but we have activated New gl accounting and document splitting , Is there any way to give profit center.

The field profit center is not filled by vendor/customer line items, but only in the GL line items
With new GL activated, you will have an entry view and GL view of all documents
All standard reports like FBL1N, FBL5N etc are based on entry view and not based on the GL view.
For GL reports FAGLL03/FAGLB03 will help
Try to see if these programs help, else you will have to develop.

If you want to perform an analysis based on the key figure dead stock, proceed as follows:
From the Inventory Controlling menu, select Environment -> Document evaluations-> Dead stock.
1. The selection screen appears.
2. Specify the desired analysis criterion and selection parameters.
You can carry out the analysis for all plants, that is, for each material, data from all plants are grouped together or only for certain plants, that is, the analysis is created for every designated plant. Any period can be selected for the analysis. The system suggests 90 days as the period to analyze, the calculation starting from the current date.
The following functions can be used to process the material list.
Detailed Display
By using the function Detailed display, you can call up in a table or graph form detailed data for a material including the respective material document. You can analyze all material documents that are related to the evaluated stock of a material.
If you want to view detailed information for a certain material, proceed as follows:
Position the cursor on the desired material in the results list and select Edit ->Detailed display.
A dialog box appears in which you can choose either a graph or table display.
If you select the graphic, you can display the latest information on:
Cumulative receipts/issues
Warehouse issues
Warehouse receipts
Stock level
If you select the table, you can display the following information:
Stock movements
Cumulative stock movements
Current stock level
From the stock movement table you can drill down as far as the material document level to see detailed information. To display stock movements on a particular day, position the cursor on the relevant line and select the Choose function. A popup window appears which displays all the movements on the selected day. The individual movements for a selected date are displayed in a dialog box.
To display the document for a particular movement, position the cursor on the relevant line and select the Choose function. A popup window appears which displays the document.
Similarly you can try for the slow moving also .please let me know wether you were able to find what you were looking for .

Dear all SAP expert,
I have a question about aging report for business partner. I want to know what is the difference between Aging Report with option "display reconciled transaction" check and Aging report with un check option "display reconciled transaction" ?
If I compared with Balance sheet, the report that has same balance with Balance sheet is Aging Report with option "display reconciled transaction" check but in this report include all transaction like Invoice, Incoming payment etc that's make aging report contain all transaction. I want to use the other aging report with uncheck option that show only open transaction but it has difference balance with balance sheet.

Thanks for yiur kind helpWhat parameters are you using to extract the GL balance? Use no From date, and a To date that is the same as the To Date in your Balance Sheet report.
In the aging report, make sure you are using the same posting date to date as the aging date, and have no Posting date from, so you are not excluding any transactions.
If you are finding your balance from drilling to Account Balance in the Chart of Accounts, make sure you are viewing all transactions, not just unreconciled transactions, as this will exclude items reconciled after the required date.
I know there was a bug with this early on in 2007A, but I'm sure it was fixed before PL30 -
SGD Exchange Rate Difference JE appears in Customer Aging Report
Dear Experts,
SAP Version: 8.81
Local Currency: SGD
We perform Exchange Rate Difference for a USD BP to calculate the unrealized gain/loss during month-end, JE created successfully.
Next, we go to Customer Aging Report and select this USD BP.
When i choose to view the Aging Report in Local Currency, the USD Invoice will appear in SGD + Exchange Rate Difference JE in SGD, the total balance can appear in SGD with no problem.
When i choose to view the Aging Report in BP Currency, the USD Invoice will appear in USD + Exchange Rate Difference JE in SGD, i can't see the total balance as it is appeared as xxxxx.
Above is the behaviour in 881.
Last time in SAP 2005, when i choose to view the Aging Report in BP Currency, the Exchange Rate Difference JE in SGD will not appear, therefore i can see the total balance in USD.
What is your opinion about the behavior in 881? Will you consider it as design or issue?

Hi, I've got a few questions to ask regarding AP Aging
1. I've tried to pull out the Document Date in AP Aging using PLD but there's no such field to be selected. It seems that most of the fields in the standard PLD AP Aging report are consists of variables, and in this instance, how can i retrieve the Document Date in the report?
2. Anybody has any idea what are the tables involve to extract all the required data for an AP Aging report? Cause if I can't get PLD to retrieve the required fields, then I will have to resort to use Crystal Report to design AP Aging.
Please advice. Thanks!To know what the table names are, you must click on View -> System Information (or Ctrl + Shift + D). Then you will notice the information on your status bar. You only have to put your cursor over the field to know where it is.
In your case, you have to use the "Posting Date", there is no "Document Date" for that.
You must use Crystal Report for doing your aging report, it's SAP B1's weak point. Sorry I couldn't help you better. -

XL Reporter Sample AR Aging Report by Transaction come up blank

I am running B1 2007 with PL38. I downloaded the sample AR Aging Report by transaction from SAP but when I generated the report, I get the worksheet with blank Data. Can anyone make any suggestions.

We're at PL41, but I had the same problem and contacted SAP Support. After reporting the problem, SAP logged onto my database via a WebEx session, got into SQL Server Console, and modified a ixView in the database views. They had to increase the size of two Ref fields in the view. Once they did that, everything worked fine.
You probably just need to open a message and get it scheduled. -
AR Aging report output format to excel

Could any one please tell me that how to generate excel report based on standard AR aging report "Aging - 7 Buckets Report".
Requirement is output of the Aging - 7 Buckets Report report should be able to upload into excel and should be able to filter the columns.

I checked in SCN and did not find answer for my query so posting here.
This is with reference to customer ageing report,
we are developing z report for customer ageing since we could not get customer specific report either through standard transaction or FDI4/FDI0 level.
So, we are developing Z report for customer ageing.
My doubt is, case where Customer is also a vendor
in BSID table we can get customer open item balances. which means due and not due balances. This is clear.
but how to bring Net off balances (customer open items - vendor open items) into ageing report like (0-30, 31-60, 61-90, 91-120 & >120).
Kindly share the ideas to get net off balances into ageing.
also let me know how would I confirm that my zreport showing the correct values.

How to handle partial payment in A/R Aging report buckets
Hello ALL,
In FIAR_C03 cube we have Item status field and only two values are comming there
O or C.
But in R/3 there are some partial payment concept. BI considering partial payment as a open item.
Example
We have a invoice of 10,000 USD
now one payment of 5,000 came from customer side and we settled 5,000 against above invoice
now remaining is 5,000.
means 5,000 of payment and 5,000 of invioce should be closed or cleared . But this is not the case becuase of invoice
is not fully settled. When invoice will settled fully then it will become cleared.
using open item we are making our AR aging buckets but now 5,000 payment is still open actually its
cleared and net due date of this payment is different then net due date of invoice thats why
these two entries are coming in two different aging buckets so the balances are coming different.
How can we handle this scenario in SAP BI during making of AR aging.

This tends to be viewed more as a business process problem - the users woul dlike the part payment to be aged the same as the invoice it's against (like the std R3 aging reports) - I actually like the BW way as it highlights the fact the cach collectors are not doing their jobs of clearing down the debt - problem is now they will all go and create resicual items -
Hi I am new to Oracle etc. I am trying to do an ageing report in oracle. To show how many days a job has been sitting on a status for grouped by days. So accrross the top I will have the groupings 1 day, 2 days, 3-7 days, 8-14 days, 15-21days, 22 - 28 days, 29+ and down the side will be status's like awaiting labour, awaiting parts etc etc. something like...

Not able to pick Opening Balance in Ageing Report

I have made an query for customer ageing report based on our requirement, but am not able to fetch the OB (Opening Balance) in that. If i generate Customer ageing report from B1, its showing the OB in the first line, then it showing the open invoices on the corresponding ageing days.

How to add the OB in the above query.Check note 1023083 and for information about the expected release date of the patch please view note 578944.this problem is related to the new SAP GUI 7 patch-level 0. There is something wrong with the GUI function to get information from the local registry (CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>REGISTRY_GET_VALUE).
We had the same issue sometime back and we applied the patch. I have the patch but it will be a huge file to send over internet. See the above notes and you should be able to apply the required patch.

With newer release of MS Office (XP/2003/2007) Microsoft added new security settings/options for Visual Basic project and Macros. Excel Inplace uses Visual Basic Project and macro functionality of MS Office. If the setting for Macro security is High (which automatically disables macro or if access to Visual Basic Project is suppressed then Excel Inplace doesn't show any Data in Excel.
Solution
Required settings in MS office XP and MS Office 2003:
To use the Excel Inplace functionality make sure the security settings for Macro is set to Medium and the option "Trust access to Visual Basic Project" must be checked on Tools->Macro->Security->Trusted Sources tab.
