VLD-2750 Misseng updata matching criteria in TABLE_NAME

Hi,
I am trying to create map that populates a fact table. I choose the option INERT/UPDATE. I can't deploy this map because of this error.
Thanks in advance,
Catarina Chaves

To update a row in the target (since you selected INSERT/UPDATE) you need a matching criteria to check whether the incomming row exists in the fact table. This criteria must either be defined with 'Match by constraint' if you have defined key constraints in the source and target modules (primary and foreign keys), or by setting a field in the target table property 'Update use for matching' to yes.
In other words, how can owb know which rows from the input data set to use for insert and and which to use for update? There has to be a criteria that will mark an incomming row as existing in the fact table (in this case, an update will be performed) or new (in this case an insert will be performed).
It seems that you have not defined the parameters setting this criteria and therefore you cannot deploy your mapping.

Igor

    Jean Pierre,
I changed the logical key to the setting you said and I am able to see the merge statement, however when I do the validation I am now getting :"VLD-2750: Missing update matching criteria in TARGET_TABLE".
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,

There are two ways of matching incomming rows with rows present in a target table during updates. One is to use the key constraints. You can see this by inspecting the target object properties in the mapping and checking the 'Match by constraint' parameter. This is recommended in case you have defined key constraints on the target objects.
The other (if match by constraints is set to 'no constraints') is to set the Match Column when Updating to yes (and conversely, Load Column when Updating to 'No') for individual columns that have to be matched (as sugested above).
If you get the VLD-2750 message, it means that one of the target objects does not have any matching criteria set for updates. In an insert/update mapping you should use either the first or the second matching method for all your target objects.

  • VLD-2754 - attributes of update matching criteria are not mapped

For some reason, when we define a cube that uses a particular dimension, the mapping always fails with the error:
"If an attribute is used in the matching criteria but is not mapped, then the matching condition cannot be determined. For the attributes (DIM_CT) to be used for matching, they must be mapped for TEST_CUBE. To deselect an attribute as a matching criteria, set Update Use For Matching to No."
I can't seem find an option for Update Use For Matching. On my source table, I have some options for matching keys but I don't understand exactly how that pertains to the mapping target.

    Hi,
You must be dealing with an update, upsert or insert update mapping here. Check the attribute properties of the fields on your target table. You should find the 'Update Use For Matching' property there.

  • OWB VLD-2750 error

    Hi!
    Could someone please help.
I am geting a VLD-2750 error in a MAPPING .. as I have specified an update in theloading specifications of the table.
It needs a where clause! ? .. where do I put this where clause?
In the Mapping table properties,in the conditional loading section, I am doing a match by constraint .. is it becuase of that! .. Please Help!
    Kind Regards
    Saif

    Saif,
Yes, the where clause is generated from the "Match by constraint" property of your target table. It is inherited from a primary key or a unique key of the target. Most likely you don't have a primary/unique key defined on your target table. In order to find out, open the target object in an editor, select table properties from the menu and check out the constraints.
If you change the table in the editor, make sure you do a reconcile inbound on the mapping object in order to get the latest definition of the object in your mapping.

  • Invoice Verification - GRIV and standard R3 matching criteria

    Hi,
I am asking what I think is a straightforward question, but has proven difficult to answer so far!
My organisation is reviewing our SAP R3 invoice match criteria, but first we need to establish what they are.
Is SAP standard GR-IV invoice verification as simple as:
    1. PO number matches the one on the invoice
    2. GRN quantity is less than or equal to invoiced quantity
    3. PO line item price is more than or equal to invoiced quantity, or within our tolerance
    4. Delivery note number on GR needs to match the one on the invoice
Are there any other fundamental matching criteria that we may be missing?
In addition, we are considering turning off the GRIV flag for certain types of vendors (those providing us with services, for which match criteria 4. above will never match due to there being no delivery note).  What are the differences in matching that will occur if we do this? - I have not been able to establish from my research whether a Goods Receipt is still required for the invoice to match if GRIV is turned off, for example...
    Thanks,
    Peter

  • Auto-reconcilitation Missing matching criteria

    Hi,
In oracle apps 11i , manual reconcilation for bank statements is done by the user. On the attempt to try Autoreconciliation program the statement lines had the error"Missing matching criteria " in the AutoReconciliation Execution Report.
I have found in the cash mangement user manual the following:
The statement line needs at least one of the following criteria to
match, and all are missing: 1) transaction number; 2) invoice
number and agent name; 3) invoice number and agent bank
    account.
But I do not know how to do any of the 3 points above because the bank statement lines entered either manually or uploaded through the interface consist of the following information only:
POST DATE, VALUE DATE , DR AMOUNT , CR AMOUNT,and BANK TRANSACTION CODE
What do we have to do to use the auto-reconciliation program?

    Hi,
We can request bank to provide us information of Transaction number.
Say a Cheque pmt or receipt is cleared by the bank, the reference of Chk is captured by Bank. These numbers shall be available to you on request along with Bank Transaction Code.

    Hi gdogk,
If there was an interruption during the initial iTunes Match process and you are now having issues with playback and album art, you may find the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful. In particular, you may want to turning iTunes Match off, then back on again, as noted here:
If iTunes Match is already enabled on your computer or device, try turning iTunes Match off and then on again.
Mac: While holding down the option key, choose Store > Turn Off iTunes Match.
Turn iTunes Match on by selecting Store > Turn On iTunes Match.
Windows: While holding down the shift key, choose Store > Turn Off iTunes Match.
Turn iTunes Match on by selecting Store > Turn On iTunes Match.

  • When I downloaded I tunes and bought Match all 3 of my computers synced. Now I download a song from Amazon into Media player or burn a cd and they are not syncing with the other computers. I update match and have my boxes checked in preferences.

When I originally downloaded i tunes and bought match all 3 of my computers synced. Now when I download a song from Amazon into media or burn a cd into media they are not syncing. I go in and update match thinking that might work, it hasn't. I have all of my boxes checked in preferences on all 3 computers.

Yes i've tried all of that. I've turned it all the way on and off and erased all of my music and put it back on and nothing works. And with the breaking up CDs and putting into compilation categories i have already fixed all of that stuff. It's fine it just doesn't show up in the list of artists. I can find the album in the songs category and the albums category it's just it doesn't show tha name of the artist. All of the other albums that i downloaded before i updated my itunes to th most recent update are fine. It's just the two that i downloaded afterwards. Thanks for trying though.

  • Processing Updated Publish Criteria taking too long...

So I have installed Lightroom 4 along with an updated plugin for Smugmug....
My question is...everytime I start Lightroom or try to export to jpg etc. the following process starts with this message -- "Processing Updated Publish Criteria for com.smugmug.lightroom.publish" and takes about 2 minutes to complete.
I thought this was related to the Smugmug plugin and contacted the developer...he didn't think this was normal and suggested I post on here...
    Anyone have thoughts on this?
    Thanks,
    Chris

The same problem had been bugging me since switching over to LR4. The only way I found to fix it was to delete any of the smugmug publishing services you have set up; that would be the area on the left sidebar where you drag images to be published. Right-click (in windows anyway, I don't know how other platforms work) on the publish service, then click "delete publish service". I had to do that for ALL the smugmug publish services I had set up. Now go back and recreate your publish service(s).
This process will cause your new publish service to be without any references to images on your smugmug site. If that's important to you then you need to tell the plug-in to sync the photos too. To do that, go to the smugmug plugin, check the box "Sync Photos" and click Sync Now. It may take some time to do a complete sync and you may need to verify images manually.
I haven't found any other workaround for the problem, but this does work.

  • Matching Criteria

    Hi,
I only have a German OWB 11.2. I cannot find where I can set the matching criteria for an item. So I got the error:
Wenn ein Attribut in den Übereinstimmungskriterien nicht zugeordnet ist, kann die Übereinstimmungsbedingung nicht bestimmt werden. Damit die Attribute ( PRD_ID) für die Übereinstimmung verwendet werden können, müssen diese für PRODUCT_DIM zugeordnet werden. Um ein Attribut in den Übereinstimmungskriterien zu deaktivieren, setzen Sie "Aktualisieren: Für Übereinstimmung verwenden" auf "Nein".
Can anyone tell me where I can set these criteria (best in german and english)?
    Thank you for your help

  • ADR/Software Updates - Filter Criteria on title string

    Hello,
i want to filter software updates in the "all software updates" list or in an automatic deployment rule.
let's start with the all software updates list. example, i want all win7 updates 64bit, but no media center updates
    a logical query would be:
    Product: Windows 7
Title: contains "x64" AND does not contain "Media Center"
this seems to be impossile in the SCCM2012 interface as i can't change "OR" to "AND", so i am stuck with "title contains x64 or does not contain media". naturally, all available updates fall in this search criteria, making it useless.
is there a solution for this?
second try, this time in an automatic deployment rule - here i have more options, as i can add several query strings to the list. the informational message states that strings can be put in quotes for exact matches, and prefixed with
a minus symbol for exclusions. so an example filter criteria to get all x86 windows 7 updates EXCLUDING internet explorer 8 and 9 patches would look like:
again, this does not work - the result includes all x64 updates for win7, completely ignoring my -"x64" statement, it also includes all IE8 updates - no idea how this criteria is translated in the background to an sql query, in any case, it fails to give
    me the result i want.
is there any solution for this?

unfortunately, even question 2 is not fully solved.
the filter strings i can put for title filtering are all combined with OR and this is a problem.
e.g. i want to show only .net framework updates for x64 systems.
    when i put these filters:
    x64
    -Beta
    Microsoft .NET Framework
i get "x64 OR -Beta OR Microsoft .NET Framework" resulting in a list that contains all x64 .net AND windows 7 updates
    when i put these filters:
    x64
    -Beta
    -Microsoft .NET Framework
i get "x64 OR -Beta OR -Microsoft .NET Framework" resulting in only x64 windows 7 updates
    when i use these filters:
    -Beta
    Microsoft .NET Framework % x64
i get "-Beta OR Microsoft .NET Framework % x64" resulting in what i want (all .net updates for x64 systems)
so yes, i found a way to put the filters how i want them, but not beeing able to change the AND and ORs in the query, and the confusing way the negation sign is working in OR statements, make it a bit frustrating. and if the % wildcard wouldn't work i would
be without a solution at all.

  • HT4913 I get unknown error (-54) all the time when trying to update Match or Genious

This also happens when trying to update Genius
This is a new MacBook Pro Retina with all SW up to date & iTunes 10.6.3
I also cannot sync to my iPhone or iPad = time out issue when trying to copy musict to the device
iPhone & iPad are all up to date with the latest version iOS.
My iTunes library is large = ~110GB & I did move it over from a PC.
I can not deauthorize my old PC.
    Any clue?

When trying to update Genius & iTunes Match, I always get this error the same time as iTunes has gathered all the info & has just started sending it to iTunes:
"We could not complete your iTunes Store request.
    An unknown error occured (-54)
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later"
I always get this error no matter when I try.
I went to the Apple Store & they could not help me even with an appointment
Their guess is that it has something to do with the SW on this Apple Macbook Pro Retina notebook.
We tried creating a different iTunes account on this notebook & that received the identical error.
I did try Genius & Match from a different Mac notebook, but without my library & there is no error.
This notebook has worked for ~1 hour since I got it new about a week ago & I've had this notebook for 2 weeks now.
Genius & Match both work on my PC notebook, but for some reason my iPhone or my iPad will not sync. I always get Time Outs and the Sync never completes -> message that the Sync is finishing forever or until I unplug my USB cable.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thank You,
       Kim

  • Itunes 11.01 crashes on updating match

    Hello
iTunes crashes every time it tries to accomplish the match-update.
    Crash-Reporter says:
    Crashed Thread:  21
    Exception Type:  EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
    Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x000000011b689000
It is always near the end of step 2 (I admittedly got a huge library), and I wonder if it has to do with either the size of my library, or with a corrupt file?
Any hint how I could get close to the problem?
    Thanks much!
    david

I don't know the source of the problem but have figured out a workaround for this that's working for me.
    1. Turn off Match on any devices that receive it.
    2. Open iTunes. Go to iTunes Store and select Turn Off iTunes Match.
3  Now iTunes shouldn't crash. Add any songs you want. When you're through, go back to iTunes Store and turn iTunes Match back on.
    4. Turn on Match on all your devices.
Nothing started uploading until I turned Match back on my devices. I guess it has to be on on those devices.
At this point, after a long pause, iTunes should start matching and uploading songs without crashing.
I've been in touch with Apple support, who are very responsive but don't seem to have a clue how to fix what is apparently an increasing problem with iTunes 11.
Happy holidays, and I hope this works for you. Would love to hear if it did.

  • How to use AND in stead of OR at the Software Updates search criteria: Article ID.

When I try to filter out some KB's it is working for the first one (KB2124261), but when I want to filter out more than one it is not working as the 2. time you add the Article ID it is added as "OR" but should be "AND". I have tried
to write more than one article ID in the first one, but no matter if I separated by ; , . - / & space etc. it won't work.
Anyone knows the correct format to use or if there is another way around it?
    /ESK

I don't think there is a way to get AND. This would be a good feature request for
    http://connect.microsoft.com.
You can however pull the same information from PowerShell using the native cmdlets, just leverage Get-CMSoftwareUpdate.
