Volume goes up two bars when iTunes isn't the active window?

When I have iTunes as the current window the volume
bar goes up and down one bar when I adjust the
volume, but when it is an inactive window the volume
bar is adjusted by two bars at a time instead of one.
How do I fix this?

This is due to a bug introduced or re-introduced in iTunes 7.1 and later for Windows. See this message http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=4435537#4435537 for details of how to work around the problem.
Note: It also makes the mute button completely unusable.

How do I stop ALL tabs from going dim when Firefox is not the active WINDOW?

I think I have read every single post about changing active tab colors, etc, etc. However, where I am frustrated seems to be a little different.
When Firefox 31 is not the active WINDOW the whole tab bar goes grey (just like the title bar) and the only tab I can read the title of is the active tab. I need to be able to see ALL tab names.
I don't want to use any add-ons. I just want a simple userChrome.css or about:config option. I have other UI complaints, but this is the only one I care enough about to do anything about. It is making me less efficient, confused, and frustrated.
Can anyone please help?

ITunes is not the active window

Can anyone tell me why when I open iTunes, it is not the active window - this does not seem to be happening with any other application? If there is another window open, it also opens behind this window and is still not the active window?

ITunes stops working when it's not the active window and connected to the internet

Hi,
I have a problem with iTunes where it crashes, only when the wifi is on and connected to a network.
Usually it occurs when I click onto another application outside of iTunes.
I've tried reinstalling both iTunes and the Apple Application Support but the problem still occurs.
I'm also on Vista if anyone has any ideas that would help?

Along with the audio control surface, this would be a VERY welcome feature in my opinion.
For those concerned about CPU drain, it should be possible to turn this feature on or off.
When I'm editing fluidly in FCP I do in fact leave the timeline playing whilst I go to other windows to select an effect, tweak a bit of audio or even move to a different app - there's nothing unusual about this at all.
Ultimately we all have our own ways of editing, but trust me, when you've been used to (and seen the benefit of) an NLE 'feature' you really miss it when the manufacturer chooses not to include it.

Problem #2 is not a problem. We have been able to somewhat install Oracle when those warnings appear. The client install works fine with those warning messages in the terminal window. NOTE: They are just warnings...

Is the store that you bought it from close so that you could try going back to them and ask them to activate the card properly ? Firefox 4 is not appearing in Task bar or some times it is Disappearing from task bar when i am minimising the window. so, i had to go to Task manager and find the icon.Its becoming big messy if tabs are not found , to switch programmes.

I am unwilling to attempt navigation away from these sites. The pop-ups that occur on the attempt to leave a site or to close the browser are exit traps offering incentive to stay.
Once upon a time, when the internet was less dangerous, I would be willing to close the exit pop-ups. Now, after twice being infected with malware trying to close the pop-ups, I now force close whichever browser I am using.
Recently, I clicked on the red X to close one pop-up, and it installed a trojan that I had to pay to be removed. When I clicked on 'Leave' in another exit pop, it didn't exit and it turned out I was giving permission to run a script file. Now that criminals have learned these exit pop-ups can be used to force a click action, the sites using them have become dangerous.
If I force the browser to close using Task manager, Please tell me how to stop FireFox from sending me directly back to the same site because it mistakenly believes it crashed when it did not. I forced it to close because I was on a site that had taken control of my browser and was not allowing me to leave the site.
No other browser sends me back to the potentially dangerous sites. I prefer Firefox, but the new version must have a setting that allows me to get safely away from a problem site?

Hello this is happening to us also (minus the Bluetooth speaker). We can't figure out what is causing the data usage. I turned off mobile data as soon s I activated the device, and got the message that unless I am connected to WiFi.....(that is exactly what I wanted). We watched Netflix for about three hours, then the alerts started. Like you we have many devices connected and never used over 2GB now all of a sudden we have used it in a matter of hours. My husband called Verizon and got the usual doubting Thomas response. I understand that they don't know my device settings. So over the phone we check all the settings and turned off every possible culprit eating up the data and end the call. By now I have purchased another gig for the month! Assured we are NOT using mobile data, we continue on the IE path to bliss. HA! A few hours later I check the mobile data usage on the Verizon website and that darn thing is still using data. After two more phone calls and two VERY uneventful trips to the local store we were told to take out the sim card. This has stopped the data usage, but it defeats the purpose of having the data plan. I could have just stuck with my Surface. Verizon sent us a new sim card. Its been installed and I have set my homepage to Verizon mobile data usage (just kidding) but I am on that site a lot. I am surprised at the number of complaints about this device. When we called the Verizon support acted as though this was the first time they had heard about this.
