VPRS has condition value 0 in Returns Order item

Hi Experts,
Our customer created a returns order refer to F2 invoice, but in returns order its VPRS has condition value 0. It caused accouting document error in Credit for Returns. There was no cost related accouting posted.
Our Credit for Returns is order-ralated.
But when we update the pricing in returns order item, VPRS has the right value.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Richard

• Referencing condition values when creating return order is wrong...

Hello Experts,
Lets say I have a billing document that has 3 line items namely material A, B and C.
Now, I created a return order for material A with 2 separate line items because of different
storage locations. Now, is there a user-exit that lets my 2nd line item copy the condition values of the
1st line item of the reference billing document? because they are of the same material(A).
Currently, we are having problems when creating a return order having multiple line items of the same material
because the succeeding line items copies the wrong condition values of the referenced billing doc.
For example:
Original billing document:
Material Discount
A 100
B 200
C 300
Return Order:
Material Discount
A 100
A 200
A 300
The succeeding line items of my return order must point to the first line item since they are of the
same material. Hope you can help me guys. Thank you and take care!

You may need to explore in the copy control definition, especially the pricing type defined. Check if any customized requirements exists for condition which checks w.r.t to the document number instead of reference document number item.

• BAPI_PO_CHANGE, changing condition value in the purchase order

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement,
a flat file is present in the application server that contains the information about PO,PO-ITEM,Condition type, movement type , condition value, plant, storage location .
And i m calling the bapi "BAPI_PO_CHANGE" and passing the po number to it.
the bapi returns the following tables, i_return, i_header,i_cond, i_item,i_itemx.
But the purpose of calling the BAPI is, to check, if the condition value in the specified PO is '0', then it has to replace with the value of condition type present in the flat file.
But when we check the tablei_return, its shows error type.
And the PO is not updated with the new condition value.
Help me out in sorting this problem, by telling me
what value is to be passed to the respective BAPI and what should i do to solve the issue?
and after that i m using a BAPI " BAPI_GOODSMOVEMENT_CREATE".
and it is for the purpose of creating the GR(Goods Receipt),
when i go through the i_return table of the bapi, it si returning a message that "BAPI_201 Unable to create goods movement".
Help me in proving the input to those bapi's and how can i get the expected output?
And let me know, what the bapi's ,"BAPI_COMMIIT" and " BAPI_ROLLBACK" , will be doing?

• How to manual maintain TAX condition value while creating sales order

Hi
I am creating one Tax condition suppose JLST without access sequence .
while creating sales order I am manually maintain the % value of TAX. suppose it is 1%
then I see It show some value in TAX .
save that sales order & creating delivery document for that but when I create Invoice its show error.
" Tax code in procedure CMTAXP is invalid ".
I know the configuration only for Tax condition with vk11 condition record .
BUT now I want to maintain TAX condition at the time of creating sales order.
so I remove the access sequence of that condition .
but It shows tax code error while billing.
My main question is that If i maintain condition record while creating sales order then how i can assign Tax code .
Can it is possible ?
if yes then How?
please help me.
thank you

Hi,
The "straight-forward" answer for Tax Code creation is contact the FI consultant. He shall help you, by creating Tax codes.
I have tested, with creating a tax cond type (copy of MWST) & manually entering values. I can create Sorder, Dlv and Bill but I cannot create an Accounting document. That is because of every line (amount) a Tax code is necessary.
I THINK, you can NOT have manually filled tax codes; access sequence is needed to get the tax value (%) and the Tax code from the condition record.
There is lot of material on the web to understand Tax classification, code etc. etc. See a useful link below -
http://www.sapgeek.net/2010/04/sd-determines-tax-code/
In short Tax code is a must and take the help of your FI consultant for the configuration of the same.
BTW - Tax code is already made created for MWST, therefore I suggested that you can use MWST. Furthermore, you can change the values corresponding to Tax codes in FTXP.
But if you are a beginner in these things, better take help.

• How to read Condition Value of a Sales Order

Hello everyone,
I want to read the salse order's Condition Value in VA03, in sales order's Header condition.
Anyone who can help me?
Thank a lot.
Julie.

hi Julie
all conditions are stored in KONV table, the main key field is condition number, field KNUMV: so
SELECT * FROM KONV WHERE KNUMV = VBAK-KNUMV.
If the value of item (field KPOSN) is initial it means it's an hedaer condition, else an item condition.

• Condition value in a sales order

Hi,
We have a condition type ZLTL (less than truckload) in our pricing procedure and Alt CBV is set to routine 12. Even though there is a record maintained, the condition value shows as 0 in the Item details screen.
The condition rate shows correct $20.49, but the condition value is 0. I have tried to take off the routine 12 from AltCBV, no change.
Checked for condition exclusion groups, none mentioned.
Is there something I am missing.
Thanks & Regards,
Pavan

hi pavan,
first up, please see the pricing analysis for this condition in the item conditions tab. also let me know if ZLTL is a header or item condition. Anyway, the pricing analysis should give the required clue to check why the did nt get picked. And also if the correct From and to are maintained, if not an approriate alternative calculation type.
And if none of the above works and you feel everything has been verified from the functional side, take the help of your abaper to debug, may be there some customization for the Z condition type.

• Which table stores the condition values of a purchase order line item?

Hi,
Please let me know the table that stores the condition values of purchase order line items(when we click on conditions tab after selecting an item then we can see the condition types and there is a corresponding condition value for that condition type.
My requirement is to get the actual price for a purchase order line item(it can be seen in the last line and it is calculated after considering all the condition types) and display this value in a custom report.
Thanks,
Ravindra

Hi Ravindra
You can find the conditions data for PO in TAble KONV.
KONV-KSCH is the condition type
KONV-KWERT is the cond value
KONV-KNUMH is the condition doc no. which is there in EKKO field KNUMH.
So u have to make a link between KONV-KNUMH and EKKO-KNUMH.
Thanks

• Manipulating condition value after being returned from IPC

Hi all,
How can we manipulate the condition rate data after the value is returned from IPC?
We tried using CRM_PRICING_I_BADI calling the method CRM_PRICING_I_MERGE. But it did not solve the issue.
Requirement is to read the data of a particular condition type from a preceedign document and then overwirte the conditon value of condition type in the current transaction with that old value from previous document.
Can this be achieved without using Java coding and manipulate the value after IPC has returned the conditon value and before it is being presented on GUI?
Please help me with your suggestions.
Regards,
David.

Hello david,
You might ned to use the user Exit provided by the Pricing Engine to work this out. this will require Java coding.

• Managed property value is not returned in item template for ArticleStartDateOWSDATE

Environment: SharePoint 2013 online
Related parts: Search Result web part (OOB), Display template for search result items
Base type: article page
I have a search result page, it has a search result web part on it, for the display template, it is using a default for list, using "single template to display items" option to point to a custom item template.
The search returns list of articles, just title and abstract, it works fine.
We need to add "Article Date" to be displayed. "Article Date" is a OOB site column under "Publishing Columns".
I found its field name is ArticleStartDate, then from search schema, I found the corresponding managed property name is "ArticleStartDateOWSDATE", the mapped crawled property is "ows_q_DATE_ArticleStartDate".
In order to display it, I added managed property mapping to the item template to map to ArticleStartDateOWSDATE.
The code is like,
<mso:ManagedPropertyMapping msdt:dt="string">'Title':'Title',','MyArticleStartDate':'ArticleStartDateOWSDATE'</mso:ManagedPropertyMapping>
var ArticleDate = $getItemValue(ctx, "MyArticleStartDate");
The value of variable (ArticleDate) is empty when try to display it.
Please let me know if you re-create this issue or have a solution to display the value.
BTW, on "Content search" web part, I can map ArticleStartDateOWSDATE to "Line 3", and display its value. So I know the managed property itself should be fine.
Thanks in advance,

I think your input value is wrong,, when I did HTML decode of your Managed properties :
'Title':'Title',','MyArticleStartDate':'ArticleStartDateOWSDATE'
It gives :
'Title':'Title',','MyArticleStartDate':'ArticleStartDateOWSDATE'
i.e. wrong, if you see there is extra comma in between.
try giving :
'Title':'Title','MyArticleStartDate':'ArticleStartDateOWSDATE'
or directly 'Title':'Title','MyArticleStartDate':'ArticleStartDateOWSDATE'

• Double or more same condition type on the sales order item view

Dear expert,
We have two condition type for the material price.
PR00 : For automatically pricing from material price list. (For example : 50 EUR)
ZAD6 : For manually price enter by user (For example : 100 EUR)
When I enter to ZAD6, last price is available on the net value. (100 EUR).
But when I enter second time to ZAD6 (For example : 150 EUR), in this case all ZAD6 lines are adding to detail's of item condition view. I shown below:
Condirion view example :
Line1 : PR00 50 EUR
Line2 : ZAD6 100 EUR
Line3 : ZAD6 150 EUR
Net value : 150 EUR
My problem is:
At the result, item net value is true, but when I look Item overview I saw first manually enter's price (100 EUR)
I shown below:
CnType: ZAD6 Amount : 100 EUR Net price : 150 EUR
Thank you !

This has been discussed many times in the forum. Please search before posting.
Please note that if both the condition types has a Condition Class as B (Prices) only one pricing condition in the lowest level ( step number ) will be active and rest are made inactive by the system. This is a standard behavior. So If you have two, you may need to change the first one to be a discount or surcharge in V/06

• VPRS-based condition redetermined in return order (referencing billing doc)

I have an issue with copy-control from invoice to return order.
I want the invoice pricing conditions to be copied unchanged to the return order.
This is similar to when creation the Sales order>Delivery>Billing Document.
I need to make a return order for the same amount as in the original sales order (naturally, we want to credit the same amount).
This works fine for all conditions, except for a VPRS-based condition, which is redetermined upon return order creation.
The VPRS-based condition should fetch the moving average price for the sales order only, not for the return order.
I have maintained copy control for billing document to sales order with pricing type 'G'
G: Copy pricing elements unchanged and redetermine taxes. The system
This works fine for Sales order --> Delivery --> Invoice, but not for Invoice --> Return order.
I would prefer not to use a formula, but I guess one alternative solution is to fetch the condition value from the original sales order if I cannot do this with customizing.
Let me know what you think about the forumla (VOFM) and if it is possible to achieve copy-control with unmodified condition values for the VPRS-condition.
Thanks!

Ok, thanks for your input!
I'm sharing my solution:
I implemented a new condition value formula for my pricing procedure:
VOFM>Formulas>Condition value
FORM FRM_KONDI_WERT_XXX.
DATA: lv_kbetr TYPE kbetr,
ls_vbfa TYPE vbfa,
lv_knumv TYPE knumv.
Get moving average price for return order from SO
The ZPRS pricing condition modifies price in return order
The value of ZPRS should be the same in return order and SO
IF xkomv-kschl EQ 'ZPRS'.
Get sales order and position
SELECT SINGLE vbelv posnv
INTO corresponding fields of ls_vbfa
FROM vbfa
WHERE vbeln EQ komp-vgbel "invoice number
AND posnn EQ komp-vgpos "invoice item
AND vbtyp_n EQ 'M' "invoice
AND vbtyp_v EQ 'C'. "order
IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
Get sales order conditions key
SELECT SINGLE knumv
INTO lv_knumv
FROM vbak
WHERE vbeln EQ ls_vbfa-vbelv.
IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
Get moving average price from sales order conditions
SELECT SINGLE kbetr
INTO lv_kbetr
FROM konv
WHERE knumv EQ lv_knumv
AND kposn EQ ls_vbfa-posnv
AND kschl EQ 'ZPRS'.
IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
Recalculate condition values
xkomv-kbetr = lv_kbetr.
xkomv-kwert = ( lv_kbetr * komp-mgame / 1000 ).
xkwert      = xkomv-kwert.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
ENDFORM.

• How to avoid user from entering new price condition in return order

Dear Expert
We are facing a scenario where we make return order; the Price is copied from the invoice. And it is working perfectly. The system does not allow us to change the price.
The issue we are facing here is that user can input new condition like discount /premium and change the net value for the return order pricing, and this will reflect in the credit note for returns.
Is there a way to restrict the user from entering any pricing condition in the header or item conditions tab.
although we cannot change the original price coming from invoice referenced for return order, but the user can input new price conditions as below. This must not be allowed.
The price must come according to the Qty being referenced.
While making the credit for returns, the user has a chance of further making changes to the net value by adding new conditions. Hence this must also be restricted for any changes.
Thanks

Take a scenario wherein a user has logged into my application and he is performing a task which will put his user id and his employee id into the session. Then he opens another window by using either ctrl+n or through files->new window.
So now a new browser will open but the session will be same ..... in this newly opened browser, user performs some operation which will remove the user id and employee id from the session .... Now if he again comes back to the first window and tries to do some operation, then a null pointer exception will be thrown saying that the employee id is null .... because he has deleted that in the newly created browser ..... to avoid this situation what can we do ???? can you please help me in this regard ??? you got my problem right !!!
