}i want to apply this style to all fields insied panelGroupLayout how to make this

Hi,
use
af|panelFormLayout af|inputText { ... }
if you need to apply this to other components, use the following pattern
af|panelFormLayout af|<component>{ ... }

    Can we apply css or skinning on PanelGrouplayout scrollbar in adf

    The CSS does not learn any cookie or url string.
    It only does a hash of the value and send the same hash to the same server.
    The problem is that since we do not learn anything from the server response, there is no guarantee that the first request (which does not contain the url stiky info) and the subsequent requests (which do contain the sticky info) will go to the same server.
    In other words, the first request for "www.mysite.com/" goes to server A because the CSS didn't see any sticky info and just did some random loadbalancing.  The response from the server contains links with www.mysite.com/....sticky_info.....
    This time the request contains the sticky info, we do hash a decide this hash is associated to server B.
    ll requests from this client will now be sent to serverB...unfortunately this is not the same as the initial server.
    There is nothing you can do about this.
    The best way to do stickyness on the css for http traffic is arrowpoint cookie.

  • CommandButton -- inside panelGroupLayout and without pGroupLayout. Skinning

    There are two cases. af:commandButton inside a panelGroupLayout and af:commandButton alone.
    Case One:
    <af:panelGroupLayout id="pgl1" styleClass="inside">
    <af:commandButton id="ot1" text="Inside Panel Group Layout"/>
    </af:panelGroupLayout>
    Case Two:
    <af:commandButton id="ot1" text="No Panel Group Layout" styleClass="along"/>
    The CSS file has "inside" and "along" classes defined.
    /* For Case One: */
    .inside af|commandButton:text-only {
    background-image: none;
    font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';
    font-size: 1.1em;
    color: #fff;
    height: 30px;
    background-color: #DC4435;
    padding: 0px 7px 0px 7px;
    border: 1px solid #DC4435;
    margin-right: 1px;
    font-weight: bold;
    cursor: pointer;
    /* For Case Two: */
    af|commandButton.along af|commandButton:text-only {
    background-image: none;
    font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';
    font-size: 1.1em;
    color: #fff;
    height: 30px;
    background-color: Aqua;
    padding: 0px 7px 0px 7px;
    border: 1px solid #DC4435;
    margin-right: 1px;
    font-weight: bold;
    cursor: pointer;
    Case One works and new skin is applied to commandButtons inside PanelGroupLayout.
    Case Two doesnot work. Skin is not applied to the commandButton having StyleClass "along". What is wrong with case Two?

    Hi.
    for case two.
    af|commandButton.along:text-only {
    background-image: none;
    font-family: 'Trebuchet MS';
    font-size: 1.1em;
    color: #fff;
    height: 30px;
    background-color: Aqua;
    padding: 0px 7px 0px 7px;
    border: 1px solid #DC4435;
    margin-right: 1px;
    font-weight: bold;
    cursor: pointer;
    }it´s works

  • Editing Form Fields inside Acrobat? (after using LiveCycle Designer)

    Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended ==  Acrobat
    LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2 == LiveCycle Designer
    =========================================
    Say I downloaded a new PDF from the interwebs.
    I want to add some forms fields so I go to Forms ==> Add or Edit Fields... (inside Acrobat)
    Now Acrobat will detect possible places where to add the form fields. I make changes etc. Then I am  satisfied with my form fields.
    Now say I want to remove a particular object from the PDF, lets take an image as an example.
    So I fire up  LiveCycle Designer; File ==> New ==> Import a PDF document ==>  Create an Interactive Form with a Flowable Layout.
    I remove that pesky little object.
    In LiveCycle Designer, I save the file as PDF.
    I open up Acrobat. I realize I need to make some more changes to some of the Form  Fields.
    But now instead of "Add or Edit Fields..." option I get "Edit Form in  Designer..."
    I hate the GUI of LiveCycle Designer --- I had rather edit the form  fields from inside Acrobat, as it is easy and fast to change multiple  form fields in a few clicks.

    Thank you Niall for the above response; Your response gave me an idea which allowed me to remove that line by zooming in to 200%
    You know Acrobat detects Form Fields for you.
    But many times it makes mistakes, for example in the screenshot below it made the boxes that came with the PDF as text fields instead of check boxes.
    The thing is rather than me delete the (form) fields it detected, and start over by making new check boxes, I will not be able to place my new check box in exact locations as Acrobat has done.
    When I imported the fields that Acrobat made into LC (by saving the PDF in Acrobat and then opening it with LC) I get option to change the Object Type from Text Field to Check Box when I right click the object.
    Is there a similar way to change the Object Type from Text Field to Check Box inside Acrobat? Any suggestions?
    ===========
    I would really like to do it inside Acrobat because then if I have to make some minor changes to some field properties, all my hard work which I did by filling the fields gets deleted, as I am forced to use LC. The text I add to the fields don't get deleted when I edit the field properties inside Acrobat. I don't know why LC decides to delete all the text which is filled out in the form fields even though the PDF is saved in Acrobat before being imported into LC?
    Here is the above PDF file with the text boxes:

    Again thanks for all your guidance so far.

  • How to apply CSS to a BC menu

    Hi there,
    I have done a lot of reading, gone to BC gurus, looked at Liam's post on Web Menu V2and I am still stumped on this one. The BC gurus tutorial and Liams' item were way above my head.
    How do you apply CSS you have written to a BC menu?
    I have set up a BC menu and put items in it. The menu type is CSS (HTML) Only
    The menu items have a name, a page link Item Height of 30 and .menuLeft in the Item CSS Class Name
    The template the menu is on is responsive and linked to a stylesheet with the CSS code below in it.
    The menu is completely unaffected by the CSS in the stylesheet. All menu items have a dot in front of them, and look like the default link style for the site.
    So the CSS below is not having any affect on the menu items. Why is this?
    What basic, simple step have I missed here?
    How do I get the menu in BC to notice the CSS below?
    I have also tried making the CSS into an id #menuLeft and putting that into the Item ID Name field in each menu item. The CSS is still completely ignored. Why? (anguished cry)
    .menuLeft {
              list-style-type: none;
    .menuLeft ul{
              list-style-type: none;
              padding: 5px;
              margin: 0px;
              line-height: 30px;
              border: thin solid #CCCCCC;
              border-radius: 3px;
              text-decoration: none;
    .menuLeft li a:link {
              color: #3F823D;
              text-decoration: none;
    .menuLeft li a:visited {
              text-decoration: none;
              color: #999999;
              background-color: #B9E09A;
    .menuLeft li a:hover {
              color: #999999;
              text-decoration: underline;
              background-color: #B9E09A;
    .menuLeft li a:active {
              color: #999999;
              text-decoration: none;
              background-color: #B9E09A;

    Hi Liam,
    The class is definitely .menuLeft and that is what is showing in the code. However, for the menu, only the line height set in the backend of BC is showing. All other styling in the CSS is ignored. By the way I have to have two CSS stylesheets as this is a responsive design using CCDW. You have to use a separate stylesheet to style body, links, headers and other items. I have done this in eternityfonts.css which is where the styling for the menu is. The webpage is using all other instructions from the eternityfonts.css file, including headers, links etc, but it is ignoring the menu styling.
    TEST PAGE SHOWING THE MENU NOT WORKING
    Here is the test page where I am trying to style the menu. http://eternitycosmetics.businesscatalyst.com/test
    It is linked to these stylesheets:
    <link href="/StyleSheets/ModuleStyleSheets.css" type="text/css" rel="StyleSheet" /> BC standard stylesheet with all sites
    <link href="../boilerplate.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> DW CC stylesheet that comes with fluid design
    <link href="/stylesheets/eternity4.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> DW CC stylesheet that accompanies the fluid design - the fluid design will break if I edit this stylesheet manually
    <link href="/stylesheets/eternityfonts.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> stylesheet containing body bground, header, a link and other manual styles for the site. I can edit this stylesheet manually
    CODE RENDERING ON THE PAGE
    Here is the code on the page for the menu in question when I do view source. It appears to be ignoring the .menuLeft code in eternityfonts.css and just looks at the setup in the BC menu.
    <div id="leftMenu" class="fluid"> (this div is in the DWCC generated stylesheet that I cannot touch called /stylesheets/eternity4.css)

  • Typeahead function in search field inside Facebook does not work in Firefox 13.0

    Until 3 or 4 days ago, cool typeahead function inside search field inside Facebook always worked in Firefox. Now since 4 days ago, it does not work. But the typeahead function works inside search field inside Facebook on Internet Explorer BUT I prefer to use Firefox and do NOT want to switch to IE!!!
    Is there anything I can do to regain that function?
    Aharon

    Shalom DJST,
    Thank you for reply.
    The behavior did not start with Firefox 13. I actually upgraded to Firefox 13 in hope it would solve the problem that happened in previous older versions. It failed to solve the problem.
    It had been working for 3 years on Firefox until last or 2 weeks ago.
    Regarding search, I mean by "type-ahead" which is that FB's search field offers a drop down list of possible search results as I type. For example, if I type S, it will show list of all people or groups with first letter S. If I type sk, it will show list of anything such as people or groups that starts with Sk, and so on. This is most valuable time saving technique to look for my pals to say hi or groups that I do not belong to but want to read their news or info.
    I think it is Facebook's programming problem but if I ask them, they will point to Firefox's fault by saying that it works for my Internet Explorer but not for Firefox and I do not want to get involved into tug war between Facebook and Mozilla.
    I am just bummed that the valuable time saving search method no longer exists on Firefox.
    Regards,
    Aharon

  • How to apply CSS to a JEditorPane?

    Hi all,
    I am working on report displaying and printing.
    the report is in HTML format.
    if the font size on the screen is acceptable, the result of printing font size appears to be too big.
    i want to apply different CSS for displaying and printing.
    where should i get start from, is there any tutorial? or anyone can show me some demo codes?
    thank you.

    You can use "style class" or "inline style" properties to achieve this.
    For both properties you can use EL or managed bean.
    For example:
    inlineStyle="#{bindings.YourField.inputValue == 'something' ? 'color:red;' : 'color:blue;'}"
    styleClass="#{bindings.YourField.inputValue == 'something' ? 'style1' : 'style2'}"

    Can a Password be set to apply after a Field Entry occurs on the PDF form?  Thus requiring a Password after the PDF document is closed with a Field Entry, and requiring the Password upon re-opening the PDF document

    It might help if you provided more information about what you're trying to accomplish. Do you want the field value to somehow be encrypted, or do you want the field to be locked to prevent further changes to it?

    Thanks! Graeme.

    If I want to apply a class to a flash movie, where do I place
    it in order
    for it to listen?
    Here's my code:
    <div id="header">
    <p id="flash">
    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
    data="/clients/affusion/webs/assets/affusionconsulting.swf"
    width="472" height="196" class="movie">
    <param name="movie"
    value="/clients/affusion/webs/assets/affusionconsulting.swf"
    />
    </object> </p>
    </div>
    Here's the simple css:
    #flash {
    height: 214px;
    margin: 0 21px 0 15px;
    background: url(/clients/affusion/webs/images/headerbg.gif)
    no-repeat left;
    display: block;
    text-align: right;
    .movie { padding-top: 9px;}
    Here's the URL:
    http://www.galfanodesign.com/clients/affusion/webs/final/index.asp
    Might there be a simpler solution to what I am seeking?
    Thanks!
    Dan

  • Creating Input Field inside Docking Container bar

    Hello.
    Does anyone know how I can put an input field inside a docking container object ? Just like it appears in SE80.
    I have created a docking container bar, and in one of those bars i want to put a text field.
    Anyone please ?
    Thank you
    EDIT----
    I found how to do this with cl_gui_container_bar_2 and with dynamic documents.

  • Applied 10.9.3 Combo Update, Software Update wants to apply 10.9.3

    Since I have multiple Mac's (including one that I'm about to upgrade to Mavericks) to update, I downloaded the 10.9.3 Combo update (the May 15th version).  I applied it to my MBP, along with iTunes 11.2.1 and Raw Camera Update 5.05.   The MBP rebooted and came up just fine ... but Software Update continues to claim that it needs to apply 10.9.3.  (It no longer wants to apply the other two updates, which it listed previously.)  An extra reboot (on the theory that some of the updating is done after reboot and Software Update might be looking at some pre-finalization cached data) changed nothing.
    About This Mac shows 10.9.2, so it's not just Software Update that's confused.
    The Combo .dmg file is on a network-mounted volume.
    A look through the install log shows that something apparently went wrong, but then the installation claimed success anyway:

    (The full log shows boot at 9:22:06, so we're now in the post-boot environment and should be doing the final updates.  Things get messy from here on, but I don't see any real activity that seems to correspond to updating to 10.9.3.)
    Anyone seen this behavior before?

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    Back up all data. Quit the App Store application if it’s running. Test after each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
    Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Updates
    Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
    Services ▹ Reveal
    from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder selected. Move the contents of the selected folder to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password.
    *If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
    from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
    Step 2
    Do as in Step 1 with this line:
    /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
    Restart the computer. If there's no change, quit the App Store and restore the file you moved from your backup, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Otherwise, recreate your settings in the Software Update preference pane.
    Step 3
    Hold down the option key and select
    Go ▹ Library
    from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash (some may not exist):
    Caches/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate
    Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
    Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.*.plist
    Saved Application State/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.savedState
    Here, "*" stand for a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes.
    Step 4
    If you still have problems, quit the App Store again.
    Select this line and copy it to the Clipboard:
    open $TMPDIR../C
    Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
    Paste into the Terminal window. Depending on which web browser you use, you may have to press the return key. A folder should open. Inside that folder, there may be a subfolder with the name "com.apple.SoftwareUpdate". If so, delete it. You can then quit Terminal.

    I only want to apply iMatch/iCloud to one of my iTunes playlists, not my entire library. Is that possible?

    Hello efisch81,
    As far as I know, this is not currently possible. It matches the entire library or none of it. For specific playlist syncing, you'll still need to sync traditionally through iTunes for now.

  • I have a PDF form that I want to pre-fill multiple fields with example text that disappears onFocus. Is there a way to do this?

    Pretty much what my subject line says. My client wants example text in the fields of a PDF form that will disappear when the cursor enters the field. When I try this with show/hide layers, the layer becomes visible as soon as I enter form editing mode, and the action doesn't work properly. Any help? I was able to get it to work with a single field, but multiple fields with example text on multiple layers doesn't work for some reason.
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Jeffrey ,
    You need to use a custom Format script for the field.
