  • User exit for lower tolerance check and block of invoices

    Hi,
    Is there any user exits or ways to block invoices for their lower limits. Presently, for upper tolerance limits, the invoice is blocked, but for lower tolerance limit only a warning message is displayed.

  • Regarding tolerance checks in MIRO

    Hi Experts,
    We have a requirement to check tolerance checks for Unplanned delivery costs.  We need to raise a error message for not allowing the tolerance cheks  which are more than 5% for Unplanned delivery cost. Please suggest me the user exit or badi to achieve the same. We have used the user exit MM08R002 but it does not work for Unplanned delivery costs.
    Waiting for the reply.
    Best Regards,

  • Lower Tolerance Checking for PM Key

    Hi,
    For our business process we accept every incoming quantity change made by the vendor in the purchase order response. We accept quantity increments as well as quantity descents. In order to prevent the POR from having to be approved/accepted by the responsible purchaser, we also need a lower limit to customize the same.
    Therefore the question is, why is the lower limit input field missing in the PM key? When going through the help file of this customizing transaction we can read the following:
    PM: Quantity variance (converted to currency amount)
    If a confirmation is expected for a purchase order item, the system calculates the purchase order confirmation net price multiplied by the purchase order confirmation quantity. The system compares this sum with the defined upper and lower limits. You can also define percentage limits for the quantity variance check. Then the percentage variance from the expected quantity calculated - independent of the purchase order price - and this is compared with the defined percentage limits.
    As you see above, it is clearly stated that u201CThe system compares this sum with the defined upper and lower limitsu201D. So according to SAP help, lower limit comparison should be possible.
    In order for this to work we need the lower limit input fields.
    ---> Is there any other way to establish the above ?
    Thanks and regards,
    Aline

    Hi,
    Priority of tolerances is  PO tolerance limit,  TOG tolerance grp. for User, TOG tolerance grp. for Vendor (if user not logged on). Even absolute tolerance limit always has priority over percentage limit.
    In your case, you need to check PO tolerance first then TOG for user.

  • How to enforce the message "Do you want to save changes?"

    Hello,
    How to enforce the message "Do you want to save changes?" when the user attempts to close a form after checking a non-database item (check-box).
    All the other database items in the block are not updateable and only viewable.
    After checking the non database item check-box, if the user tries to commit, then the system is saving the changes and call the appropriate procedure on save.
    But if the user tries to close the window without committing, the form is not showing the message "Do you want to save changes?" since the check-box is a non database item.
    How to enforce the message "Do you want to save changes?" in this scenario when the user tries to close the window?
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers
    Sri

    This is a fairly common question in the forum. You will need to override the default exit form process and check to see if the checkbox is checked. You can do this in the Key-Exit trigger. For Example:
    DECLARE
      al_id     ALERT;
      al_button  NUMBER;
    BEGIN
      IF ( CHECKBOX_CHECKED('YOUR_BLOCK.CHECKBOX_ITEM') ) THEN
         /* Display an Alert here that asks, "Do you want to save changes?" */
         ...code here to set the properties of your alert...
         al_button := Show_Alert(al_id);
         IF ( al_button = ALERT_BUTTON1 ) THEN
            --YES
            /* Perform COMMIT Processing here...*/
         ELSIF ( al_button = ALERT_BUTTON2 ) THEN
            --No
            Exit_Form(NO_VALIDATE);
         ELSE
            --Cancel
            RAISE Form_Trigger_Failure;
         END IF;
      ELSE
         Exit_Form;
      END IF;
    END;If you need more help with the Alert, please check out the SHOW_ALERT topic in the Forms Help.
    BTW, what happens if all the user does is check the checkbox? No other changes have occured. What changes are you trying to process?
    Hope this helps,
    Craig B-)

  • Window "Setup wants to make changes." reappears

    When I try to run an installer/setup I get a popup window 'Setup wants to make changes. Type you password to allow this.'
    I have an admin user account with full read/edit/write permissions.
    Whenever I enter my username and password and hit the OK button the window reappears.
    This happens with every type of setup/installer I try to run.

    This may just be a keychain issue:
    Tutorial: Resolving Keychain Issues
    If you can't access your keychain, or forget your password If you can't get into your keychain file because you've forgotten your password or the keychain file appears to be corrupt, there are a couple of options.
    First, if you've forgotten your password, you can use the "Keychain First Aid" utility to make the keychain password the same as the login password. This can be accomplished via the following process:
      1. Open Keychain Access (located in Applications/Utilities)
      2. Go to the "Keychain Access" menu and select "Preferences"
      3. Click the "First Aid" tab
      4. Make sure the "Synchronize login keychain password" box is checked
      5. Close the Preferences window
      6. Go to the "Keychain Access" menu and select "Keychain First Aid"
      7. Enter your username and password
      8. Click the "Repair" button
    The second option is to completely delete your keychain then recreate it. This routine is useful if your keychain appears to be corrupt or otherwise inaccessible. This can be accomplished as follows:
      1. Launch Keychain Access (located in Applications/Utilities)
      2. Click "Show Keychains" in the lower-left corner of the window.
      3. Select the problematic keychain from the left-hand pane.
      4. Navigate to the "File" menu and select "Delete Keychain '(name of keychain)'"
      5. Check all options for deletion and press "OK"
      6. Create a new keychain by going to the "File" menu, then "New" and selecting
          "New Keychain"
      7. You can now make this keychain your default if you desire by selecting it, then
          going to the "File" menu and selecting "Make '(name of keychain)' Default"
    Login as root and perform repair In some cases, problems with keychains can only be resolved when logged in as the root user.
    First, you want to enable the root user:
      1. OS X Mountain Lion: Enable and disable the root user
      2. OS X Lion: Enable and disable the root user
      3. Mac OS X 10.6: Enabling the root user
      4. Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X
    After enabling the root user, and logging in under this account, again open Keychain Access. First attempt repairs using Keychain First Aid, and failing that, delete then recreate the keychain as described above while logged in as root.
    Persistently asked for stored passwords If you are persistently asked for passwords in various applications that you have specified should be remembered in a keychain, your "login" keychain may not be active for one reason or another.
    Navigate to ~/Library/Keychains/ (this is the Library folder inside your user's home folder). Find the file named "login.keychain" and double-click it.
    Failing that, select the "login" keychain within the Keychain Access application and make sure it is the default keychain by going to the "File" menu and selecting "Make 'Login' Default"
    Turn off Keychain synchronization in applications having problems If specific applications are experiencing issues when accessing password-protected material, the Keychain may be to blame.
    The above comes from an article published on MacFixit.com.

  • Finder wants to make changes

    Hi all recently my imac requests a password when I want to delete or move files to the trash with the error message "Finder wants to make changes" and when it does this it deletes the file immediatly - now I am aware of certain permission fixes which I have run to no avail but aswell as not being able to access the trash my memory space is being taken so the files must not be deleted fully so I ask is there a solution to gain access to trash and how to remove those deleted files fully and regain my space.
    Many thanks in advance

  • Invoice tolerance check at company code level

    Hi! I know in SRM, the tolerance check for invoice is set up and assigned to a tolerance group which is then assigned to the user attribute. In theory, the tolerance setting should match that of ECC as it does not make sense to meet the tolerance requirement in SRM and then subsequently get block in ECC. However, it is common in ECC that we maintain different tolerance value for different company codes. Is there a way to do the same in SRM? My guess at the moment is that we will have to 'copy' the check in ECC to SRM rather than relying on the tolerance checks in SRM. Am I right to say that? What is the best practice in such situation?
    Appreicate you sharing your experience in this.
    Cheers!
    SF

    Hi. I think the only way to do this is to set the tolerance to 999% via config and PPOMA and assign to all users. This means the standard tolerance check does not apply.
    Then use the BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI to read in whatever tolerances you want based on whatever parameters, and issue an error on screen if the tolerance is exceeded. You can easily RFC into R/3 to get the tolerances from table T169G.

    Dave.

  • When I try to open firefox it pops up, "do you want to allow changes to your hard drive" everytime

    Firefox update while I was trying to resolve a issue with a brother fax drive to update for windows 7, now every time I go to firefox it pops up, "Do you want to allow changes on your hard drive" as if it didn't finish, so I answer "yes", firefox browser comes up, but if I get out and go back in it does the same thing.
    in the pop up window is listed; C:\program file(x86)Mozilla firefox\firefox.exe
    But when I search it, nothing

    Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.
    Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
    In the Compatibility tab, make sure that Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" is not selected.
    You also need to check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.
    If you can't make the changes then you need to start Windows Explorer as Administrator.

  • Block Payment in MIRO for Lower Tolerance Limit

    when we are posting MIRO Transaction
    how can we block payment invoice in MIRO Tcode for the Lower Tolerance Limit
    As the standard functionality is working for Upper Tolerance Limit, in the same way user needs to
    block invoice for Lower Tolerance limit
    Thanks

    Hi Ganesh,
    below is the user exit where you can check the tolarance and put the Block according to the your requirment.
    User Exit name - MM08R002 -User exit for tolerance checks
    in the above user exit you have to use  the below Function exit.
    1) EXIT_SAPLMRMC_001
    2) EXIT_SAPLMRMP_001
    we implemented the above user exit to put the payment block based on the checks.
    You can find the documentation of the above exit in the system.

  • I am ask everytime I try to open Firefox if I want to allow changes

    Every time I try to open FireFox I am asked if I want to allow changes. It has always just opened up no problem. The first time this happen I responded allow but when it came up everything looked different. Will I always have to do this from here on out?

    This error is usually caused because Firefox is set to run as Administrator.
    Check that Firefox isn't set to run as Administrator.<br />
    Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
    Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
    * Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
    * "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected
    Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).

  • When working in iPhoto I kept getting a dialog box that asked if I wanted to delete the photo.  I checked the little box that said do not show this again.  Well, I want to get this warning box back but I don't know where to find it.

    Hi I was organizing pictures in iphoto.  I am new at this.  I was deleting a bunch of duplicate pictures and I kept getting a 'warning box" that kept asking "are you sure you want to delete?"  I knew I wanted to delete all these pics so I checked the box that said "check box if you dont want to see this warning."  So checked the box.  Now I want to get that warning box back.  Any ideas?  I can't find anything on the internet or manuals.  thanks

    Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
    (On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
    (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
    What's the plist file?
    For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.
