Want to extend existing subscriptions

Currently I have 120min/ month China to dec 2012, and 120min/month HonKong until May 8, 2012.
I rarely use HongKong minutes. I would like to subscribe China 400 min/month for 12 month with 15% discount, that would mean I need to cancel the existing China 120 and HongKong 120, move the rest credits to China 400 and pay the difference. Is this possible?
Many thanks!

If you want to enable existing subscribers to download the magazines for free, you'll need to connect your app to the publisher's subscription database using the Adobe DPS Entitlements API. I'm quite sure that requires Enterprise access to DPS.
If a customer buys an Auto-Renewable Apple subscription in the app using an In App Purchase, Apple presents them with an opt-in popup asking if they want to share their information with the publisher as well. If they do, that data will end up in Apple's iTunes Connect reporting. It's hidden quite well, but http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7228019/auto-renewable-subscription-how-to-get-the-user -client-email-address-and-zip contains a link to the pdf which explains how to get it. The data you'll get is: first name, last name, email and postal code. I wouldn't expect too many people to opt-in though.

I purchased the Gift Card version of the GCU membership on 12/26/14.  Went into the store to activate today and according to the rep their she said it would have a start date of today.
I need a confirmation that this "stacked" onto my existing membership which was to expire 3/10/16.  Meaning this new membership should now cover me until 3/10/18.
Thanks for your help in advance.  The GCU memebership has been more than worth it to me.

  • Extending an existing subscription

I have an existing annual subscription (for several years now locked in at a good rate) for landlines within own country. I want to extend now to include mobiles...so do I just buy a new monthly/separate subscription, or is there another option?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi,
Currently there isn't an option to add mobiles to your current subscription. You would need an additional subscription that covers mobiles from: http://www.skype.com/go/subscriptions
For example if you purchase 400minutes landlines & mobiles subscription then this subscription will be used only when calling mobiles or your Unlimited Australia has exceeded fair usage policy like over 10 000minutes per month.
Skype system will automatically check which subscription is more beneficial for you and if you call landlines then of course Unlimited Australia has higher priority than 400minutes subscription that covers mobiles and landlines.

  • HT1515 I want to extend my existing wireless router upstairs to my new smart TV.  I have loaded the AirPort Express onto my desktop Mac.  In simple terms do I now just plug the AirPort into a socket halfway between the base WiFi and the Smart TV, or do I

I want to extend my existing wireless router by using the AirPort Express for my Smart TV.  Can I just plug in the AirPort halfway between the router and the Smart TV and have no direct connection to a computer or the TV, or do I need to plug in next to the TV and somehow connect the AirPort to the TV (ethernet)?

You are asking several different questions. If you need to store your photos, music, and movies on an external volume, you certainly can. Any externally connected hard disk drive will work, connected either directly to your Mac or to your Time Capsule as a shared volume.
You should not rely upon using that as a backup device though. Although you certainly may use it for both purposes, it is a better idea to have dedicated backup devices for a variety of reasons not limited to redundancy. You would not want to simultaneously lose all your pictures as well as your backup. If they are all on the same device, that could happen. Furthermore, a backup cannot back up the volume on which it is running.
As for adding an Extreme or Express, using its LAN port for your iMac, and then enable Internet sharing so you can effectively use the iMac as a "hotspot", you can do that too, but I am unclear on what benefit you believe this arrangement would convey for you.
An Extreme's Guest network is separate from its Main network; that is the reason for having it.

  • Proper way to make bulk changes the Owner ID, Path and file share credentials for my existing subscriptions, ExtensionSettings

We are going through with an upgrade/migration to SSRS 2012 and moving everything to a different domain. We have about 200 active subscriptions running, the reports are being delivered to a file share.  What is the correct way, in bulk, to change
the OwnerId, the Path and the FileShare Username password credentials for these subscriptions?  I see these values are being stored in Subscriptions > ExtensionSettings.  I see that the file share path and Owner wouldn't be a problem to change,
but since I see the file share credentials are encrypted I would not be able change them directly in ExtensionSettings.  Anyone know the proper way to change the Owner ID, Path and file share credentials for my existing subscriptions without having to
change each one of them manually in the report manager?
Note: Reporting Services Native upgrade from SSRS 2005 to SSRS 2012.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Cygnus46,
Based on my understanding, you want to change the Owner ID, Path and file share credentials for all existing subscriptions.
In Reporting Services, the subscription information are stored in the Report Server database. In your scenario, you can go to report server database and run the query to list all the subscriptions, then modify the owner and fileshare paths in the subscriptions
table. For more information, please refer to this article: Tip: Change the Owner of SQL Reporting Services Subscription. If you want to change
the file share credentials for subscriptions, you can run the query provided by
    wiperzeus from this similar thread:
    Windows File Share Delivery/ SSRS 2008 R2.
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • New Subscription with existing subscription

    Hello,
I want to avail a new 400 Minutes call to India/per month subscription. Presently I am using the 60 minutes/month subscription. When I am trying to avail it show a message that It will overlap your current subscription.
I would like to know if I can use my existing subscription with new one.
If not then why? Please suggest me.
    Thanks,
    Jay

    Hi Dheeraj,
As a best practice, you should avoid moving data and any services from the subscription in which they were created. In the rare case that this becomes necessary, you must submit a support ticket to request assistance. It is not currently possible to fully
migrate data or services from one subscription to another without the assistance of Microsoft Support.
For additional information over submitting a support ticket, please refer following link:

  • HT4259 Extend existing WiFi signal using airport express?

I have a Belkin Play Max Wireless Router Modem in my existing WiFi set up.
I want to extend its range, could I connect a Airport Express wirelessly to extend its range (as my house does not have ethernet lines built in)?
And how would I be able to do it?

Apple's "extend" setting is a proprietary feature that is designed to only work with other Apple routers. So, it would be extremely unlikely that it would work with your modem/router from Belkin.....or any other manufacturer, for that matter.
Your best bet for compatibilty is to always use wireless routers and extenders from the same manufacturer on your network. Check with Belkin to see if they have what you need.

  • Extend existing network with Airport extreme and 3 airport express.

I want to extend an existing network (thomson TG787v) with an airport extreme (MD031Z/A) with 3 or 4 airport express(MC14Z/A)
The thomson is the router from the provider and must be used. The building is an old mansion with a lot of brick walls
I tried to connect the extreme with an ethernet cable (in bridge mode) and then connect the airport express in a line to have wifi in all rooms of the mansion.
But somehow the airport extremes cannot extend the network.
Can anyone tell me how to setup the apple devices to make this work?
    Thanks
    Bernhard

I tried to connect the extreme with an ethernet cable (in bridge mode)
    This is the correct.
and then connect the airport express in a line to have wifi in all rooms of the mansion.
Apple's "extend a wireless network" feature will only allow you to "extend" the signal one time. So, the first Express would connect to the AirPort Extreme wirelessly and extend the signal.
But, you cannot "extend" the signal a second or third time. Each AirPort Express must be located so that it connects directly to the AirPort Extreme.  In other words, each AirPort Express must be located about the same distance from the AirPort Extreme.
Another way of thinking about his is to visualize the hub and spokes of a wheel. The AirPort Extreme would be located at the "hub".  Each AirPort Express would be located at then end of a "spoke".  As such, each AirPort Express communicates directly to the AirPort Extreme.....not to another AirPort Express at the end of another hub.
You may need to consider installing Ethernet cable to each location where you will need an AirPort Express and configure the network that way.  Performance wise, this is a much better way to "extend" the network.

  • I have installed Airport Extreme on my iMac, but want to extend the wireless network with Airport Express. Everything is fine until I try to select Extend the wireless network.  I select Extend Wireless network but have no success. Ideas?

I have installed Airport Extreme on my iMac, but want to extend the wireless to rooms with a weak signal.  The internet connection is fine with the basic setup. As soon as I go into Airport Utility to select Extend Wireless Network and fill in what I believe is proper information, I get an error message that Airport Extreme no longer has an IP address, the internet connection is broken, and under Wireless, that there is a wireless network in existence that can't be found. Rebooting the modem only brings the Airport Extreme back to the starting gate so that the internet is once again available.  I assumed (naively) that with the All Mac All-the-Time context, adding Airport Express would truly be Plug and Play.   I got the plug, but no play.  I asked a Comcast technical specialist about it and he said that I needed to reset the Airport Express settings back to their default, factory status.  I looked that process up online and found out that the way to do that was to hold down the reset button, then plug Airport Express into the socket and wait for the green light to flash four times.  Then wait 45 seconds and the default settings will return.  I did all that, only to find out that after the initial flash of green, green never appeared again.  I got a fast flashing yellow light, followed by the light going off.  Apparently this didn't reset it properly.  So, after hours trying to get this system to work, I appeal to someone who can see through this mess and provide the key to success!

Let's see if I can get this straight.
You have an Airport Extreme base station that is set to "Create a wireless network" and you have the box checked for "allow this network to be extended"....
Then you have an Airport Express that is set to "Extend a wireless network" which you selected the name of your network in the box...
    Correct?
    See this Apple document:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4259?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
The wireless unit on the right of the diagram can be either of the newer Apple base stations.

  • "are you sure you want to remove existing photos.."?

I just had to get a new hard drive (for my 2/12 year old Imac!)   Did the time machine backup, all seems good.  Now trying to sync photos from Imac to the Ipad.   I'm getting this message:
"Are you sure you want to remove existing photos and sync photos from this computer?  Photos synced to "xyz" from other photo libraries or folders will be removed and photos will be synced from this computer.  Photos taken with "xyz" Ipad will not be affected"    Choices are "cancel" or "remove and sync".
Does this mean that if I "remove and sync" that photos on my Ipad that say, I played around with in some photo app and are now in my camera roll,.. will be lost??   I'm confused by this message.
also, I turned off photo stream because it was driving me nuts.
Can anyone please help me?   There are about 350 photos on my Imac that I want on my Ipad..     thanks!!

An iPod can only be synced with one iPhoto library. If it has been synced with another library previously, the photos synced from that library will be removed from the iPod. Have you been switching between iPhoto libraries? You need to switch back to the iPhoto library that you want to sync with, before connecting your iPod.
The library you are using for syncing, needs to contail all photos that you want to sync to your iPod.

I have tried to get Apple to call me by logging a case several times but they never ring and then just send me a mail saying we tried to call (they dont) so i am hoping someone can help me...please?
When i pug my iPhone or iPad in non of the apps appear in the simulation on the second tab and non of my music are there. When i hit 'Sync' a pop up says'Are you sure you want to remove existing music, movies, TV shows, books, and tones from this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?
Music, movies, TV shows, books, and tones synced to “Chr15h’s iPhone5” from other iTunes libraries will be removed and items will be synced from this iTunes library.'
I realy dont want to loose all my data. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction...please?
    Thanks (i hope) Chr15h

But will I be able to keep the data stored in the applications, photos, books and also the sorting and the folder arrangements the same way they were, after erasing all the data and synchornizing with the new library?
That is the aim of the process set out here: Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

I have a Western Digital external hard drive that needs to be re formatted for use on my iMac, but I do not want to lose existing data, is this possible ?

Formatting a disk always erases all the data on it. Your only option is to back it up elsewhere and restore it once formatted.
