Want to use JDAPI to change RPRROREPORTSERVER parameter (11g)

Hi:
I need to change the form-level, RPROREPORTSERVER parameter across many 11g forms. Is there any way to use JDAPI to accomplish this? Right now, if I want to change blocks or items I start with getBlocks or getItems and iterate thru each block and item and set the new values. Is there an equivalent syntax for parameters?

You could get an iterator for all the Parameters using getModuleParameters like
FormModule module = FormModule.open("my.fmb");
JdapiIterator iter = module.getModuleParameters();
You'd then could go through all the Parameters like you do it with your blocks or items; you'd get a module parameter which you could change like this
ModuleParameter param = [...];
if(param.getName().equalsIgnoreCase("your_parameter"))
param.setStringProperty(JdapiTypes.PARAMETER_INITIALIZE_VALUE_PTID, "your_value");

Using javascript to change styles and such

I want ot use javascript to change the "display" style of a
div tag
whatDiv.style.display = "block"
This works fine if the div tag has an inline style defined:

But if the tag has a class attached to it and the display
:none is attached
to that class, then it doesn't work

... how can I remedy this?

Can anyone tell me how can i use JDAPI to modify the when-new-form-instance trigger in all my forms,coz we have around 500 FMB's ,if this is possible by using jdapi it will be better for us..

Hi Najeeb,
The code I've given you should cover the basic steps - you will need to have a basic knowledge of Java if you want to use the JDAPI, there's no way around that unless you go and buy one of the off-the-shelf products for this kind of thing (I think there's one called orcltoolbox..?)
I've written an application that does all kinds of things to Forms specific to our needs, so it's a bit tricky to just pull out the code you need, but again, the basics will be:
String formName="C:\some_dir\some_form.fmb";
FormModule mForm=FormModule.open(formName);
Trigger myWNFITrig=Trigger.find(mForm,"WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE");
String myText=myWNFITrig.getTriggerText();
And there you have your trigger text, to do with what you please. You could put this code in the main() method of one class if you want to keep things really simple - but see how you get on, if you have any more specific questions, do come back.
Eric - that's a very good point about using Regular Expressions. I haven't used them in my JDAPI app because I wanted to keep all my .fmbs 6i-compatible for the short-term, and a posting I saw somewhere recommended sticking to Java 1.3. Which rules out the regex facility, which only appeared in Java 1.4. Now, though, I think I needn't have worried - it surely shouldn't matter which version of Java I use to make the changes to the .fmbs. My stupid!

How to change COMPATIBLE parameter while creating the database using DBCA

I have installed 10.2.01.0 on centos 4.7
Now i want to create database with COMAPTIBLE parameter 9.2.0.1
I m trying to create database through DBCA, changed the initialization parameter COMAPTIBLE to 9.2.0.1.
But gives me error

if i dont change the value of COMPATIBLE parameter then its running perfactly...
But i have to set compatible parameter as 9.2.0.1....

I have tried that opting.
After creating the database with COMAPTIBLE parameter 10.2.0.1.0 changed that parameter in init.ora file to 9.2.0 and start the database.
But at that time getting
ORA-00201: contorl file version 10.2.01.0 incompatible with ORACLE version 9.2.0.0
ORA-00202: control file '/opt/oracle/oradata/ORCL/control01.ctl'

I would just follow the instructions from this article to give your unused 4s to your spouse. Since you have already started using your 5s, you will still be receiving iMessages on that phone and will have no need to receive them on a device that has been replaced. Deleting an iCloud account only deletes it from the Device, not from iCloud. In iOS 8, the name of this setting changed to "Sign Out" as that is a better reflection of what actually happens. Your iCloud data remains on the server, available to devices still signed into the account, but the device you sign out of the account on is disconnected from the account, and as a result, the iCloud data from that account is removed from the device. It will redownload to the device should you sign back into the account.
The only issue you'll run into when you switch between accounts is with my photo stream photos older than 30 days. When you delete (or sign out of) and account, your photo stream photos are deleted along with the other data from the account in question. However, unlike other data which remains on the server and can redownload to your device when you sign back in, my photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. When you sign back in, you will only get back my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days (as older photos are no longer in iCloud to redownload). Like other account data, any my photo stream photos on your other devices signed into the account are unaffected by this. If you want to keep older my photo stream photos on your device as you change iCloud accounts, save them to your camera roll before deleting (signing out of) the account.

I want to use the Function Generator VI to send command signals through the NI 7344 motion controller. This will be a closed loop servo valve system. I want to be able to change from say a square wave to a sine wave on the fly. Idea's?

I am going to run tests that require an actuator to move using various types of arbitrary waveforms such as sine or square. The NI 7344 is hooked to the UMI that is going through a driver for a servo valve. The loop is analog and it is closed. I have played with some of the examples but can't get it to work. I have used the function generator VI to generate a signal but I think I am using the wrong input VI to the motion control board. When I use what I have it moves the servo and then stops. It doesn't continually generate the signal.
I would love to use the controls on the function generator vi to control frequency and amplitude ect. Any help or pointer would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

I'm not clear on exactly how you want to use the generated data but I'm assuming they will be used as your target points.
There's a built-in example for motion called 'One-Axis Contour Move.vi'. This example demonstrates how to provide your target points as 1-D array. All you need to do is to replace the input array with the output of the function generator. In order to have it run continuously, use a while loop. You can further program your application so that it'll change the waveform on the fly by monitoring the user interface but this might be little little tricky as you will need to reset the move and load the new generated points while keeping track of your current position.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add a new account by tapping the "create Apple ID" button. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

If you see that pop up you enabled icloud. Whether you want or do not want now to use it irrelevant until you actually disable activation lock.
In order to do that you have to change your apple id back to do that just long enough to sign in and back out. System will ask you to verify, don't.
Just sign in on the prompt you getting and then logout. Once done, change apple id to what you have now and verify. Then decide if you want to
use icloud (who does not want to be able to track their phone if lost or stolen).
