Waste Disposer as Vendor

Dear all
Can we define Waste Disposer and Waste Transported of Waste Management module of SAP EHS as Vendor in MM. If yes, what will be the process?
Thanks in anticipation
Vikram Sethi

Dear Vikarm
You can use Integration option in Waste Disposer, where you can link Company Code, Plant, Storage Loc, Vendor and Customer. For this you create vendor master and integrate the same using WATREE transaction.

  • Waste Disposal Service in SAP SD

    All,
We have a waste disposal scenario where the waste is collected from the customer and an invoice is raised for performing the disposal. This would have been a standard service scenario if not for the waste. The waste should be received into the warehouse and tracked as other standard products. Can this be done in SAP ECC? (initial idea was to create a returns order and a returns delivery to get the waste in but can we create a credit memo request in a returns cycle?)
    Thanks & Regards,
    KC

    Hi,
If you take it through return then it will create return delivery and credit note(it means you have to pay/give money) here you scenario is quite different
You have to take waste and raise invoice to customer
Process it through MM and SD
    MM Process -
    Create material waste
Goods receipt without P.O (Only update quantity not value)
    SD PROCESS
Create sales order for Waste put GR document number as reference P.O (material west in sales order not relevent for delivery so switch of availability check and or no scheduline in order)
Create invoice with reference to order

  • Purchase order in Disposal Processing (WAE01)

    Hi experts,
I have a problem: When i create a disposal processing (WAE01) y do the flow, but when i push the botton "purchase order" a screen appears, where i have to put:
    Document type
    Item Category
    Acct. assignment cat.
This values are always the sames, so i want that it screen does not appears.
    Somebody can help me?
    Thank you very much. María.

    Hi Maria,
You have defined in SPRO ( IMG-EHS-Waste mgmt-disposal procesing-integration-purchasing-specify parameter for purchase) a register with:
    - Purchasing organization.
    - Document category. (only F is a valid value, the standard system can´t create purchase requisition)  *(already informed)
    - Order type. *(already informed)
    - Item category.  *(already informed)
    - Acct. assignment category.  *(already informed)
The purchasing organization in the contract has a register in SPRO?
If the purchase order is created against a contract, this has a purchasing organization, the system has all the information, the popup doesn't need to appear.
If the purchase order is created against a purchase inforecord maybe the system can't determine a purchasing organization with a register in SPRO.
Tell me what is your case.
Who is the vendor (the waste disposal, the waste transporter or both)?
    Is there a contract?
How many purchase inforecord are there for the waste?

  • EHS - Contractor/Vendor Management

    Hi all
Is there any mechanism in SAP EHS or MM module, where we can capture details such as Insurance, Environment compliances, Waste dispose/transport license details for vendors/contractors. We want to capture this information while selecting a vendor/contractor and then renewing their contractors.
is there any functionality, where we can create criteria mentioning that, without these documents, particular vendor/contractor cannot work for the organisation.
    Looking for your reply.
    Regards
    Vikram Sethi

    Hi Vikram,
The requirements which you have mentioned is addressed by SAP MM module with PTP (procure to pay) scenario under vendor evaluation business process.
Please go to the following path in spro for maintaining your specific criterions:
    spro> materials management> purchasing>vendor evaluation>define criteria
Here, you may define the "main criteria" as say " EH&S " and probably maintain your different aspects as "subcriteria". Here you have the facility of user exits for probably delisting or blocking specific vendors for may be EH&S services.
You may also like to see t-code "me61" i.e "Maintain Vendor Evaluation" , where-in if you had floated any RFP (request for proposal) to the available vendors in your company's master data, you would like to evaluate the vendors on the EH&S specific defined subcriterions in spro. Thereby, you should be able to select and process only those vendors which are really applicable for the required job.
Please get in touch with any MM consultant for detailed info.

  • ISU Waste and Recycling - Business

    hello,
I have a question about ISU Waste and recycling. If I understand this "add-on" we can billing the Residential Customers or the industrial customer. But in France, we make waste disposal order for the Residential Customers but it's the city who is billing for the customer. So I have 3 questions about this "add-on":
    1) Can I make waste disposal order for the Residential Customers but billing the "city hall" of this customers ?
    2) Can I make a waste disposal order street by street and not customer by customer ?
    3) How make a static route because in france the waste vehicle make, all days, the same route with the same streets ?
    thanks for your help

Hello , regarding your questions I can give you some solutions(questions 2 and 3)
You can create for the street a cleaning object and for each customer from the street must be created an subordinated cleaning object in this way you will be able to create waste disposal orders for the street , and for all the cleaning objects (streets) in the service frecvency you can alocate the same route.
About you first questions I will be also happy to find an appropriate solution, but I will try, I'm new in this industry.

  • Procedures within facilities in waste management

    Hi Friends,
To creat Facility procedures - path-Easy access -Utilities Insustry-waste managenent-waste disposal facilities-Procedures within facility-
Here I am trying to enter date and waste disposal facility, but not able to enter transaction category .
So anyone pls help to where we have to create this transaction category..whethe in spro or easy aceess or in any tables..
    kindy help and guide me....
    Eashwar..

    Hi Eashwar,
The transactions within a waste disposal facility are associated with corresponding material postings. transaction categories are created for waste disposal facility types in order to map these transactions. They are grouped in transaction groups, such as mix, sort, convert, repost.
    Follow below steps,
Waste Management  ->Waste Disposal Facilities  -> Settings
    1. EWAEL05 - Transaction Groups, choose one of the disposal types and hit create button, on the next screen enter the key for Transact. Group, description.
    then save.
    2. Select the new Transaction group and create button to create transaction category, enter the required fields and also add the materials in the item view.
save and activate the transaction category.
Only after activation it is possible to see the transaction category when you are creating procedures/transactions within facility.
    hope this helps you.

  • EH&S Waste Management - Document attachment

    Hi All,
Does anybody worked on scinario of attaching external document (say in PDF format) to either Entry Document for waste or Waste Disposal document.
I was looking for similar scinario of attaching document in Incident Accident Management.
Can it be done without major development ?
Looking forward to your valuable comments
    Suhas

    Hello Suhas,
Firstly, can you please elaborate on the requirement for attaching external document to either Entry Document  or Waste Disposal document, as both are finally document in itself?
Nevertheless, you can maintain any additional information (of unlimited text) in the "Remarks" tab of the "Disposal Documents", and in "Notes" field of "Additonal Data" tab in detail view of the "Entry Document".
The purpose of attaching user defined documents in Incident log is different and hence the availability.
Alternatively, you may opt for "Object Linking" functionality of DMS solution, wherein you can define your own document type having object linking with the "Entry Document" and "Disposal Document" screens. Here, you would have to take help of your technical resource to create screens, sub-screens and define function modules. For details please refer to the following link.

  • Free goods , contract, creating order

    Hello SAP Prof,
    1. what is the diff b/w Free goods and Bonus buy?
    2. What is Rental Contract and service contract?
    3. How can we create our own order ,
( we can copy std order.)  But plz tell me how to create order with copy controls in detail.

    Hi Rajesh
Free goods are considered to be merchandise, moveable belongings or personal property. Free goods are those which economists are not interested in because in free goods doe not offer the opportunity for creating a cost for usage. The best example of free goods is air because there is no scarity of air. Economists are interested only in goods, which can be manipulated to create cost for useage. Free goods are plentiful, you have as much as you want without a chance for future cost to society.
A bonus buy refers to any product manufactured or otherwise made available for purchase at a lower cost for a certain period of time. A bonus buy can relate to food, cars, stocks, bonds, insurance, bank loans or almost any product you can think of.
Examples of Bonus buys are: Buy one and get one free, 20% original price, 15% Reduced Mortgage today.
    SERVICE CONTRACT:
A service contract is an arrangement between a service provider and service recipient and is characterized by a separate lease and service contract term. The lease usually ranges from 22 to 27 years while the service contract ranges from 13 to 18 years in length. The combination of the lease and service contract terms is typically 80% of the useful life of the asset. While the equity return is based on the overall term, depreciation occurs over 125% of the lease term only which differs from a pickle structure where depreciation occurs over the entire deal term. The participants in this type of transaction are the service provider or lessor, service recipient or lessee, operator, and customer. Typically, a service contract is used with assets such as gas, water, and power distribution networks and generation facilities. However, they can also be applied to real estate and securitization transactions.
A service contract is considered a property lease under section 7701(e) of the IRS Code if certain requirements hold. These requirements are divided into general and special criteria groups. Section 7701(e) outlines six criteria in the general case which indicate when a service contract should actually be classified as a lease:
If the service recipient is in physical possession of the property
If the service recipient controls the property
If the service recipient has a “significant” economic interest in the property
If the service provider has no economic risk in the contract
If the service provider does not provide services to a third party
If the contract price does not “substantially” exceed the rental value of the property
To obtain classification as a service contract, the first two rules essentially require a management contract so that the service provider maintains control of the property. The service recipient is allowed to retain an interest in the land underlying the asset via a ground lease without being considered in physical possession of the property. However, they will not be able to mandate how the property is maintained, operated, or improved. There are five rules to consider which determine “significant” economic interest in a property:
If the property is utilized by a service recipient for most of its useful life
If the service recipient bears the risk of a decline in value of the property
If the service recipient shares the reward for an increase in value of the property
If the service recipient receives a portion of savings in operating costs
If the service recipient bears the risk of damage or loss of the property
To be considered a service contract, the fourth general rule requires the service provider to bear the risk of reduced receipts or increased expenses as the result of non-performance under the contract. An exception to this rule is a provision which allows for an output contract to remain in force during short shut-downs of a facility. To resemble a service contract, the fifth rule states that services must be provided to someone other than the service recipient. For example, a purchaser of power should allow sales to customers and not use all of it for themselves. The last rule states that the total contract price should “substantially” exceed the value of the property to be classified as a service contract. Thus, if the contract price is derived mostly from recovery of costs of the property or there is a separation between use and service charges of the property, then the contract will resemble a lease.
An important item to note is that not all six requirements need to be satisfied to be considered a service contract. Section 7701(e) does not weight any of the criteria but simply allows for a contract either resembling a lease or a service contract. This would imply that a simple majority of criteria is necessary for classification.
Section 7701(e)(3) provides special rules for determining whether a contract is a service contract. These special rules apply only to the following types of facilities: qualified solid waste disposal, cogeneration, alternative energy, and water treatment works. The following four special rules replace the general rules for the above facility types and indicate when a service contract should actually be classified as a lease:
If the service recipient operates the facility
If the service recipient risks a significant financial loss when there is non-performance under the contract
If the service recipient risks a significant financial gain when operating costs are less that the standards of performance under the contract
If the service recipient has a purchase option or is required to buy all or part of the facility at a fixed price other than the fair market value
There are three main differences between the special and general rules. The first one is that with the special rules, lower operating costs cannot be passed on to the service recipient. Secondly, the risk of temporary shut down of the facility can be shared by the service recipient. Lastly, all costs and benefits due to changes in the law can be passed on to the service recipient.
Service contracts have less tax downside and less financial risk as well as more even returns over time. Also, the contract must be carefully structured to qualify as a service contract. While it is easier to qualify under the special rules, there are many fewer available facilities. The main tax benefit for classification as a service contract is the allowance for depreciation over 125% of the lease term rather than 125% of the combined lease and service contract terms.
    RENTAL CONTRACT
A rental agreement is a contract, usually written, between the owner of a property and a renter who desires to have temporary possession of the property. As a minimum, the agreement identifies the parties, the property, the term of the rental, and the amount of rent for the term. The owner of the property may be referred to as the lessor and the renter as the lessee.
