Way to check what tab page I am on????

Hi,
I have a tabbed canvas and I when I move into a particular tab I want to query block within that tab. Is there a way that I can check what tabbed page I am currently on???

Is there a way to check what songs were played on iPod touch on a certain date?

I want to see what songs (and order they were played in if possible) on a certain date and to see what time they were played. I don't know if there is memory of plays beyond merely last time a song was played.

You don't need an app.
You can display the Last Played time by selecting the Songs View and right-clicking on the column header bar (arrowed) and selecting Last Played on the pop-up menu. Then click on the Last Played column so that the arrow in the column is pointing downwards, so that the last song played is at the top of the list, the next one down was played before that song, etc.
As you can see, it's all there. However, it relies on three things:
that you use Sync to manage your iPod (so the last played times are synced with iTunes)
that the song is played all the way through. If you skip to a new song while the current one has 2 seconds to play, the Last Played is not changed.
if you are looking back at a distant time (as opposed to "just now") - that you have not played the song again since. In other words, if I now play "No Use Knocking" all the way through, it will then be at the top of the Last Played list, with the new time played. Look in the screenshot below; now that it has played, it's at the top of the list and "For The Love Of Money" is Now Playing:

What's the best way to check what's on my hard drive?

I'm fairly new to the mac experience so I apologize in advance if this information is readily available elsewhere...
I'm trying to find out what is taking up the most space on my hard drive with hopes to move or delete files... I did several searches here on the forums and well as googled and came up with some freeware programs like Disk Inventory X, What Size?, and Omni... Any opinions on what works best? or any other ways I can find these files? Thanks for the help...

Flex 4.6 ViewNavigator: any way to check what view is under the current view?

I have different breadcrumb trails in my app and i would like to pop a view if the view under it is the one i want, else i would like to push the view instead. Is there a way to tell if a specific view is under the view stack?

Is there any way to check on my own internet usage?

I am really puzzled by my new satellite internet provider (Exede). I joine on 2/14 and by 2/16 they said I had exceeded (pun intended) my 10 gig monthly limit. I know I had not, so when I contacted them and had them check their details, they had my down for 4 gigs both that Sat (15th) and Sunday (16th) between 4PM and 9PM.
     a. I was not even near my iMac between 4:30 and 6:30, and was watching the olympics from7:30.
     b. I had not sent more than 5-6 emails, had not downloaded any videos, movies, etc.
     c. Their tech person said it was really strange even from their viewpoint, but could do little. He did give a super bonus (for free!) of two more gigs - never to be done again.
     d. Their tech person said they had complete confidence in their records and also believed something very strange was going on - like someone else or some virus was using my iMac. I live in a very rural area - thus the satellite connection try. I don't have any neighbors who use my wi-fi.
     e. Does the iMac send constant data on its own? Could it be possible for a virus or some other program to be doing such strange, unauthorized activity? Is there a way to check what acutally went on two days ago?
     f. His only other solution is to unplug their modem when I am not using the computer. Sigh.
Today I rechecked my use of the 2 gigs of bonus they gave me. I have carefully monitored my usage.
a. Yesterday I sent 9 emails, got about 20; watched about 5 minutes of a youtube video; and sent a 4.7 imovie enclosure via email. Their recorded me as using 5 gigs!!
b. Today (it is still am when I write this), I checked my email - 20+ emails, sent 10 (no enclosures) and watched exactly 4:30 minutes of Fcebook videos. Exede added 2 more gigs!!
I cannot figure out how this is happening. I guess I will have to cancel the service with only a week of being a user - unless someone can help me find the mysterious culprit, be it an unknown meighbor, a mysterious code in my iMac or ???

Any client on a network, including wireless clients you don't know about, could be consuming bandwidth. Wi-Fi networks must be protected with WPA2 security. If yours isn't, change the security setting on the access point. If it's already set that way, change the password. Make it a string of at least 8 random characters, including digits and upper- and lower-case letters. The password is saved in the keychain and you don't have to be able remember it; in fact, you shouldn't be able to remember it.
You make these changes in AirPort Utility, if the access point is an Apple device, or in a web browser otherwise.
If the network or the password was insecure, and bandwidth use returns to normal after securing it, you can be pretty sure the problem was caused by intruders.
But intrusion may not be the issue. Most often BitTorrent, iCloud, Dropbox, or some other cloud-data application is involved in cases of mysterious bandwidth use by a Mac. If you use iCloud, uncheck at least Photo Stream and Documents & Data in its preference pane and see whether there's any change. If you use third-party network backup or file-sync software, disable that. If you use a torrent client, remove it.
Otherwise, if you're running OS X 10.9 or later, you can see which processes are most active on the network.
Launch the Activity Monitor application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Activity Monitor in the icon grid.
Select All Processes from the View menu, if not already selected, and also select the Network tab.
Click the heading of the Sent Bytes column in the process table to sort the entries by bandwidth usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Repeat with the Rcvd Bytes column.

Navigating to a tab page after a show_window() in on-commit trigger

I have a multi-tab form. On-commit, the form checks for warnings. When there is one or more warnings it opens a window to list them. With or without warning messages, the data is committed with commit_form.
Whenever window with warning messages is displayed, the form always returns to the top-most tab. Otherwise tab page is not changed.
In the on-commit trigger I save the tab page and then call set_canvas_property() after show_window() to restore the tab page. For some reason, the first tab page is always on top even though the the tab page name I saved is correct. I can't use go_block() in the on-commit trigger.
Are there other ways to restore a tab page on-commit?

When-tab-page-changed trigger PL/SQL

I have a form which Has two tabbed regions
Can Anyone please let me know how to write the PL/SQL for the when tab page changed trigger for this scenario.
I can do it for single tabbed region but cant understand how to do it for 2 or more tabbed regions

You have to check :system.tab_new_page for what tab page you ended up on as the result of the user navigation. See the help file for an example of code.

How do I check what URL itunes has .....

Is there a way to check what URL itunes has for my podcast. If there is how do I do that? itunes is not updating new episodes. Thank you for any help

The URL you give leads to a 'file not found' page. To check what feed URL iTunes is using, go to your Store page, click on the 'Subscribe Free' button and then click the 'Podcasts' section in the sidebar. If it can find your feed you will see the podcast listed: click it once to highlight it and then click the 'i' button at right which will appear. The pane which opens shows you the feed URL. If it cant find the feed - as will be the case if it's using the address you gave - you will get an error message including the feed URL.
If you want to come back on this please include the URL of your Store page, found by control-clicking the podcast image and choosing 'Copy link'.

Detecting the current tab page

I am working on a task for our current project which requires that I correctly identify the
current tab page selected on the user's page.
Toward that, I was passed some information about the function:

I was unable to locate this function in the 3.0.7 / 3.0.8 api installed on our machine, but since I
only have access to view the public interface of this package, and wondered if this function was

Has the function been moved, or included elsewhere, or deleted?
The success of this task depends on having a reliable way to determine which tab page is
currently selected/viewable.
Is there another / better method for accomplishing this?
Any help would be most appreciated.

That isn't a supported API yet. I'm not aware of any current functionality that will allow you to find the current tab.

WAD: Change Background color of TAB pages

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to change the background color of the TAB pages in a TAB strip container.
By default it displays in "white" color. How can I change this.

Hi Sandeep,
Not sure if there's a way to change each tab page background color using css etc. But maybe as an alternative if you do not wish to see the tab page background as white and are ok with SAP color themes, you may use a Group webitem (i.e. embed the webitems already on each tab page in a separate Group webitem - if you have more than 1 webitem you would first need to use a Container webitem). For a Group webitem you can choose the background color from Internal Display -> Design property.

Is there a way to force the tab order to skip a page and then return to that page on a form?

I have a multi-page form with a required page layout. The problem with the current form layout, is that I'm finding my users are getting to page "20" and it seems like the natural end of the form...and stop entering information and submit. The problem is, there's an additional form field on the next page that MIGHT need important information.
The information in that final field is only present in about 10% of submissions, but is crucial to the file if present. As I said, the page layout is required.
Is there a way to change the tab order to go from the last form field on page "19" to the form field on page "21" and then back to the form fields on page "20"?

Thanks try67, but it isn't a required field. As I mentioned, only about 20% of submissions will require filling it in.
There isn't a submit button. Not even sure what I would do with/or how I would implement a submit button. After processing the form, the filled out form is 'Saved As' to keep the original forms integrity intact. The 'Saved As' file is renamed appropriately, and then it is printed to a PDF file and attached to the appropriate customer file.

Is there a way to FIND what page is playing music?

I often have two browsers & a good number of windows & tabs open. Sometimes, especially if I have to reboot, and they all re-open, I'll hear music or a video playing, and have no clue where it's coming from!
Is there no way to find out, without having to go tab by tab, window by window, scouring up and down on each page, looking for a little player?
And on some sites, there's just automatic music, with no visible player (which I really can't stand, as I'm usually already listening to something else, and the webpages with auto-play tend to use very loud music, increasing the ensuing displeasure.

Well, that would help to see what tabs are open, but my major problem is when it's just a player or small video window on a page, that's playing. Knowing all the tabs open will help if it's an obvious page, like a YouTube video, or band's MySpace page, but I can see all the tabs on each window, but I still must go one by one, looking up & down each page, looking for the culprit. Sometimes there's no player to see, but an imbedded song that automatically just plays....
I was hoping there'd be some program that could show where or on what page an audio or video file is being played...

Way to check what tab page I am on????
