Web Conference for Join Lync Meeting with supplier

Hi,
I would like to know Web Conference for Join Lync Meeting with supplier
Please kindly to explain.
Thank you in advance.
Supannee.

The Web Conferencing service manages conference data collaboration, including native support for PowerPoint presentations, document sharing, whiteboard, polling, compliance logging, annotations, and handouts. While
scheduling and joining a conference remain the same as with other modalities, the client communicates with the Web Conferencing service by using the Persistent Shared Object Model (PSOM) protocol. PSOM is a custom protocol that is used for transporting web
conferencing content.<o:p></o:p>

  • Creating Web service for PL/SQL Procedure with Complex Data Types

I need to created web service for PL/SQL Procedure with Complex Data types like table of records as parameters, how do we map the pl/sql table type parameters with web service, how to go about these?

    Hello,
When you are creating a service from a Stored Procedure, the OracleAS WS tools will create necessary Java and PL wrapper code to handle the complex types (table of record) properly and make them compatible with XML format for SOAP messages.
So what you should do is to use JDeveloper or WSA command line, to create a service from your store procedure and you will see that most of the work will be done for you.
You can find more information in the:
    - Developing Web Services that Expose Database Resources
chapter of the Web Service Developer's guide.

Just got my Mac air and i would like to make a file to store some web addresses for my new business with rodan and fields and I can't do it. Made the file but i cant copy and paste the web addresses in the file to save them. Please help and thank you.

Yes - well you have to make the file in a word processing Application.
You could use TextEdit (it's free) Pages (words only), or Numbers (data base) (they are part of iWorks - and may or may not be free (included) on your machine.  You could use MS Office (it is not free) You could use any Open source word processor that plays well with Office (NeoOffice, StarOffice) they are free.
That's how you create content and copy/paste URLS. Then you save the file to the desktop. If you are going to make more than one file... you make a folder on the desktop and save, or drag the file(s) into it.
You attach it to your e-mail client which will compress it and e-mail it. An excellent reference is to use Help, from the menu bar, also from inside any application. From your library or book store the OS X for Dummies has a lot of useful information (you don't read it cover to cover but look up chapters about what you'd like to do)
You can also make appointments at your local Apple store for individualized help (if a store is nearby)

  • External user not able to join Live Meeting, but can join Lync Meeting

We have LYNC 2010 pool with OCS 2007 R2 & Live Meeting clients ( with few LYNC 2010 clients). We are having issue with one external organization with Live Meetings. If any of our company user schedules Live Meeting, the particular external company users
( they have OCS 2007 R2 and Live Meeting clients) are not able to join our Live meetings. If we schedule Lync Meetings, they are able to join  successfully through Web Interface.
On the other side, our users don't have any issue to join their Live Meetings.
We have LYNC edge servers and all external users don't have any issue to join our Live Meetings. The external company also don't have any issue with other users.
It's only 1 to 1 issue with Live Meeting ( not Lync meeting).
Any help to resolve this issue is much appreciated...

    Hi,
From your description, did you mean it is a coexistence environment?
Did they receive any error message from Live Meeting client?
If possible, you can test with other federation companies with Live Meeting client. If it happen to all federation companies, I suggest to double check port, certificate requirement for federation. If it happen only for one company, please check
if Live Meeting Clients update to the latest version.

    Hi,
Did the issue both happen internal and external the domain?
Please check if there is any error message on FE Server.
As the issue only happen for several users, please double check if there is any client/conference policy to deny these Lync users to join the Lync Meeting.

  • WBS28 joining a meeting with temporary app on Windows Seven 32bits IE8

    Hy!
user is not administrator of windows seven desktop
when joining a metting with temporary app
the temporary application downloads and user is prompted for execution
    but nothing happens...
    any idea ?
and by the way how does the temporary app work ?
where is the temporary app stored ?
i don't find any docs tha describes the fonctionality...
    thanks for your help.

I have really tried many things to identify any possible reason of the issue above. Even rewrote all my javascript navigation code and checked server-side code.
But the only place where I got the solution is at site: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/bugs.asp which states that there is a bug in IE8 which reads like:
IE0012: IE Travellog broken when navigating back/away from a page with
a large POST form If there is a form input field with a value longer
than 523,659 characters, when you navigate away from the page, IE may
clear the current session's travellog (similar to history), disabling
the back and forward buttons. Repros in IE6 & IE7.
There are following solutions that you can go for:
    - Check for the input field that has lots of characters as mentioned above and solve your problem.
    - If you have control over the system where IE8 will be used, you can add the following registry key on that machine. There is no existing key, so, you need to add a new one:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TravelLog] "MaxSize"=dword:ffffffff
I am really relaxed to find this information as I spent really long time to solve this issue. Hope this will help someone.

  • How to Disable Lync 2013 Web app link in Lync meeting

I want disable Lync 2013 Web App , because it is  confuse WinXP user(no sound suuport) , I reference the topic(Disable Lync Web App link) but not work in 2013 version. How can I disable that?

I assume you're referring to this link:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/lync/en-US/33fbfa3f-e7dd-43a7-85f4-43c280e17d4f/disable-lync-web-app-link?forum=ocsconferencing
That was an unsupported but clever hack that we developed by the user asking the question.   There is not supported method for doing this in Lync 2013.
If it's an audio only meeting, I'd suggest removing the URL completely from each individual the meeting invite before sending it out.  If it's not, then the WinXP user would either need Lync, which they would then automatically join with anyway, or
they wouldn't in which case sending them the meeting invite wouldn't help.

  • Using "Save for Web & Devices" for a Organization Chart with Text

I created a document in CS3 Illustrator that is an Organization Chart. It contains rectangles, lines, and text. It looks great in Illustrator.
I have tried to save it using "Save for Web & Devices" to create a JPEG and a GIF so that I can pop it into a Dreamweaver document as an image and it keeps coming out blurry.
I have tried changing its size and resolution. I have tried opening and exporting it into Photoshop to try to "clean" it up. Nothing seems to be working.
I'm obviously unlettered in this modus operandi!
    meem

    Thanks for the response.
The background is transparent and will end up on a white background eventually.
I tried to make it clear in Dreamweaver by scaling it and it did seem to improve it somewhat. But it still doesn't look like the clear copy in Illustrator that I started with...
I also need to be able to embed this in a Word document to print for a hardcopy manual.
I had this same problem with Freehand a few years ago.

  • Can I set up a Web server for my internal network with iWeb.

I'd like to set up a web page that is only accessible from my internal network and hosted on one of my macs. I'd like to host home movies in quicktime format that I can stream to my iPhone and iPod Touch. Can I do this with iWeb? Do I need additional software to serve the site off of my mac? I would also like to set up passwords on a sub-page that will contain PG-13 and R rated movies - is this possible as well?
    Thank you.

    Start your personal webserver.
Put the iWeb pages (or any webpage) in the root folder of your personal webserver or in the webfolder of your Home directory.
    Either:
    /Library/WebServer/Documents/
    or
    ~/Sites/
Its' an Apache webserver. The manual is on your computer too.
    <http://localhost/manual>
Any questions about that server can be found in Discussions. It's not iWeb specific.

    Thanks for Help.

I assume you have OC4J 10.1.3 webservices installed. Then you should not be using service-config.xml. Check out the 10.1.3 documentation about WebServiceAssembler. I am afraid, you are using 10.1.2 style service-config.xml along with 10.1.3 style WebServiceAssembler.

  • Meetings created after some time start shoing up "re-created a meeting that was missing from your calendar" with no body information e.g. Lync meeting

My manager is having a problem.  "randomly" reoccurring meetings in outlook will after some time start showing as this:
"Exchange 2013 re-created a meeting that was missing from your calendar"
With all the "meat" of the body is missing.
We are running Exchange 2013 SP1 and Outlook 2013.  They look the same in OWA.  Meetings can be from different senders, different times etc.
    Any thoughts?

Microsoft have confirmed this is an issue with Exchange Online via the O365 Dashboard:
Current Status: Engineers have developed a fix and are currently testing to ensure successful remediation.
Customer Impact: Affected customers are experiencing issues with incomplete meeting information for a limited number of invites set to occur between the dates of August 7th, 2014 and September 12th, 2014. For the affected calendar invites, customers may see
meeting content replaced with a canned message stating, “Exchange 2013 has re-created a meeting that was missing on your calendar.” This issue is only affecting the body of the calendar invite for attendees, and not the meeting organizer.
Also, this does not affect the title, location, date and time, or the attendee list.
Workaround: As a workaround, customers can re-send affected calendar invites. Additionally, if the calendar invite contains Lync meeting information and the information does not appear in the message body, attendees may be able to use the ‘Join Lync Meeting’
button that appears in Outlook, Outlook Web App (OWA), and the mobile client to join the scheduled meeting.
Incident Start Time: Thursday, August 7, 2014, at 12:00 AM UTC
Preliminary Root Cause: A recent update to the service caused the Calendar Repair Assistant feature to misidentify some meetings on the attendee’s calendar as missing. By design, the feature recreated the meeting invite, including the title, location,
date and time, but replaced the body of the calendar invite with the canned message.
Next Update: Monday, August 18, 2014, at 4:00 PM UTC

  • Having issues with Lync meetings with external partners

This is basically a new concept for us because Lync was used mostly for internal use. The last couple of times we tried to have a meeting with a non-Federated partner like a reseller giving a demo, they would send us a Lync invite and when I try to connect
to the meeting by clicking the Lync invite in the email, my locally installed Lync 2013 client opens a window and I hear a series of beeps, about 20-30 like its trying to connect. It makes a connection for a few seconds (I enter the virtual lobby) and then
    it disconnects.
This has happened with two different corporations, one of them being Microsoft. The companies are not Federated with us so I guess the questions are this:
Does the company have to be Federated with us just to have a meeting?
Should I enable partner domain discovery under Access Edge Configuration in Control Panel? (Seems like this is something you don't want)
I have Centralized logging running and I extracted the logs for the time the meeting was trying to start. I used Snooper to review the logs.
I am seeing two errors which are below:
    SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden
ms-diagnostics: 1027;reason="Cannot route this type of SIP request to or from federated partners";source="sip-edge.ourdomain.com" (the source is our Edge)
    SIP/2.0 504 Server Time-out
ms-diagnostics: 1017;reason="Cannot route From and To domains in this combination";summary="Cannot route between the source and destination domains because partner discovery is not enabled";external-domain="theirdomain.com";external-type="domain-type-remote";internal-domain="ourdomain.org";internal-type="domain-type-local";source="sip-edge.ourdomain.com"
504 is a bit confusing because it implies that you have to be Federated with a partner just to have a meeting.

    Hi shadowtuck,
I reviewed your last post (https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/40422065-9244-4d65-a538-b702315d6727/cant-share-desktop-in-lync-meeting-with-microsoft?forum=lyncdep
), and I did some more research.
    You have two choices:
    1. Enable open federation.
    2. Join the meeting as a guest by using Lync Web App.
    The diagram for your reference.
If you do not want to enable open federation, you have to join the meeting as a guest by using Lync Web App.
    Best regards,
    Eric

  • "Skype for business" Confusing meeting invitation

When I create a new online Meeting in Outlook Calendar with the Skype for Business client , it Automatically set meeting location as "Skype" and a url to click to "Join Skype Meeting". This is very confusing for
both internal and external users. People saying that they don't have Skype installed on their computers and don't have a Skype account. External users asks if we can host the Meeting on their GoToMeeting solution instead.
I hope there is a possibility to change the template or that Microsoft comes With a hotfix for this. The best would be if we could modify the text. If not, at least release a quick fix that adds "business" in the Location and "Join Skype
    Meeting"
At the moment we have to manually change the location to Lync Meeting, and the url to "Join Lync Meeting" like it was before.
    This is very frustrating

    Hi,
    Agree with ANthony Caragol.
I test the issue on my Lync environment, even I return the Skype For Business UI back to Lync UI, then restart Lync and Outlook, the Lync Meeting Add-in still show "Skype Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office 2013".
So now the workaround is to change it to "Join Lync meeting" manually.

  • Outlook Lync Meeting Bug?

    Our environment:
On premise Exchange 2010 SP3, Lync 2013 with latest CU.
Office 2013 from Office 365 for Business.
Whenever someone tries to create a Lync meeting with more than 30 participants and tries to add conference room, conference room appears for few seconds and then disappers.
This doesn't happen if same user with same participant tries to setup normal Outlook meeting.
Anyone seeing this possible bug in Lync addin for Outlook 2013?

    Hi,
Try to disable all add-ins in Outlook except Lync Meeting Add-in for Outlook 2013, check if the problem persists.
To disable add-ins, go to File -> Options -> Add-Ins.
If the problem doesn't exist when other add-ins are disabled, this issue was probably caused by one conflicting add-in, disable the add-ins one by one to test which one caused the problem.
This problem may also be related to the limitation of Lync Meeting attendees number, we can check the limitation on Lync Server. The default number should be 200, if you have tried to disable add-in but didn't figure out the cause, consider to check the
    number limitation on Lync Server.

  • Adding Conference Bridge info to meeting in Calendar

    Hello,
I'm looking at making a room mailbox for a conference call line that our company utilizes. I know how to make the resource mailbox, meeting attendant and even a customized message to confirm the resource is scheduled. However, I'm not sure how to modify
it to where all attendees see the number and passcode in their calendar for the meeting. Should I be using an equipment mailbox instead? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You can create a Lync meeting in Outlook:
Then all attendees just need to click "Join Lync Meeting" to join the meeting. For the conference call, please use the conference phone to dial one of the numbers listed in "Find a local number link" list to join the Lync meeting. For more information
