Web Dispatcher does not connect to J2EE..

Hi,
The web dispatcher is not connecting to the J2EE anymore. This was working fine until i installed the SSL certificate on the J2EE engine. The dev_webdisp log file shows messages as below

i am able to telnet from the webdispatcher to the portal on port 56000.
Portal is on EP7 SP12
any idea why this might have occured ? and how to get the connection back ?

I have successfully installed and configured SAP Web Dispatcher. When I start the web dispatcher from command prompt, it works fine. I created a windows service for web dispatcher using the command
ntscmgr install sapwebdisp -b "c:\program files\sap\sapwebdisp\sapwebdisp.exe"
-p "service pf=sapwebdisp.pfl -cleanup -auto_restart"
The command successfully created sapwebdisp service. The service also starts fine, but web dispatcher does not get started.
Any ideas experts?

Ok. Few suggestions.
1. Can you review the SAP note:
552286 Troubleshooting for the SAP Web Dispatcher
2. When you said: "web dispatcher does not get started ", what error you got ? Can you be more details here ?
3. Please check the trace file dev_webdisp" that generated in the work directory. If the log entries is not abvious, increase the trace level to 2 or 3, and reproduce and re-check the trace file.
4. What is the output of the command "sapwebdisp -v"
5. How about sapwebdisp.pfl ? Are those settings correct ?

Blackberry Protect web service does NOT connect remote to my phone

Can't find any similar problems on the net which is worrying...

I installed Balckberry protect a few times hoping it would solve the problem

I'd contact your service provider if the rebooting and resetting network settings did not work. A locked phone (locked to a specific network) will not allow you to connect to another provider's network. It is the phone itself that makes calls (which is why you can still make an emergency call from a phone with no sim card in it) and receives sms. The sim acts as an "enabler" so to speak.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Our web dispatcher B is in DMZ1, which faces internet directly, and I wanna its msserver is A which is in Core, which only in protection zone.
Now, DMZ1 has allowed Core with port 8111, but when start web dispatcher, it says error in dev_webdisp, following is details:

We check the connection what you mentioned.DMZ1 is OK for Core and Port 8111.We open 8111 in Core as telnet port too. I try to use such command:
dga114:cwiadm 9> sapwebdisp -bootstrap

This bootstrap will perform the following steps:
1. create profile file "sapwebdisp.pfl"for SAP Web Dispatcher (if not already existing)
2. create user for web based administration in file "icmauth.txt"(if not already exisiting)
3. start SAP Web Dispatcher with the created profile
After the bootstrap you can use the web based administration
Generating Profile "sapwebdisp.pfl"
Hostname of Message Server (rdisp/mshost): dga107
HTTP Port of Message Server (ms/http_port): 8111
Checking connection to message server...
ERROR: Illegal data received (no HTTP?) -
please check that 8111 is really the HTTP port of the Message Server
and I think the parameter doesn't matter about this problem, does it?

Project Online - web app does not open

Today my Project Online web app does not open. Error message is
Could not connect to the specified Project Web App URL: https%3a%2f%2fsapphire365.sharepoint.com%2fsites%2fpwa. If you have manually changed the Project Web App URL for this Web Part, please remove this Web Part and add it to the page again from the
Web Part catalog
I've not changed any web part. Can you please help out as I cannot access anything in project online.

Agree with Hrishi that you should open a service request, and if you can't log into your tenant, then use this URL to log into the administrative portal to log the service request:

Here is my web.xml, but everytime I tried to start the web server 6.1, it complains:

Normally, when you connect via http, the browser doesn't check for site identity, so I don't understand what's happening there.
Do you have any security-related add-ons that force popular sites to use a secure connection, or claim to provide anonymous browsing?
Were you making the connection on your own network or on a public network (e.g., school, coffee shop)? If it was a public network, maybe the error indicates that your traffic was being intercepted???
Without hands on, this is a tough one to diagnose.

Web Start does not extract native library

Hi there,
we�ve been deploying our application through web start for about a year, yet. And we are in the "lucky" situation, that all customers are running windows and indentical JREs.
A few weeks ago we switched from 1.4.2_08 to 1.5.0_03. Our customers (pre-)install our application by using the -import option of web start, which downloads fine. But recently, we receive more and more error reports, that a call to a native library fails, when the application is first run.
Thus we inspected the users' web start cache and found out, that though the jar containing our native lib was downloaded into the cache, but the contained dll is not extracted.
The extracted dll usually resides in a directory RM*.jar in the cache. And of course, as it isn't there, the call to the library fails.
But the question is, why web start does not extract the dll in some cases? Unfortunately we were not able to reproduce this situation locally, so we're limited to our customers' reports.
Btw. the dll is in the jar's root directory and the jar itself (as well as all other application jars) is signed.
Any suggestions?
Clearing the cache and donwloading again solves the problem, but might not be suitable for users that repeatedly need to download 10 megs with an isdn dial-up connection... :-/

To try to reproduce the original problem, remove the deployment.properties file from the <application data>\Sun\Java|Deployment directory, then run 1.4.2 with you app. The upgrade to 1.5.0.
The cache will only be upgraded if deployment.properties file indicates that it has never been run with 1.5.0, so if you have had 1.5.0 insalled on a system, and then you remove it, the cache may never be upgraded unles the deployment.property file is removed and then used with 1.4.2.

We have multiple web tiers and using BigIP to load balance the traffic evenly to each of the web tiers.
All users are connected via a VIP and BigIP will route the user connection in one of the web tiers.
How can we find out which web tier does the user is currently connect to?

Reporting Services Webpart - web part does not auto render consistantly

We are on SharePoint 2010 (integrated with Reporting Services)- on several sites we have added the Reporting Services Web Part and with a saved parameter. The behavior of this web part is not consistent. There are times when I open up a site
and the web part will auto render the report. 5 minutes later I can go into the same site, and the web part does not auto render the report. I have to do edit page, or close and re-open the web site. Has anyone experienced this type of behavior.
I've looked for assistance with this issue on-line cannot find anything that specifically addresses this issue.

If the parameters have default values in the report, then the report can be rendered automatically.
For this issue, I recommend to verify the things below:
Does this issue occur when you open the page with the web part in a new tab in the browser or go back to the previous opened tab?
Does this issue occur in the server side or client side?
Please add the site to trusted sites in Internet Explorer to see how it works.
Please change another browser to see how it works.
For narrowing down the issue scope, please test with another report and compare the results.

Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)
