Web dynpro Flash Island will not load in portal

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know what could be the cause why our FlashIsland wont load into the portal.
We do get the blue Flash-background and if we right-click on it,
the right-clickMenu has an item "Movie not loaded".
The server supports FlashIsland because we are using Netweaver 7 EH 1.
Also we haven't got any problem to run normal web dynpro's with FlashIsland.
Is there something you need to configure to use FlashIslands in the Portal.

I also added a new workset and some pages with iviews..
If i include my Islands here it works.. Only if i alter a webdynpro app that is already added to the portal
the .swf won't load...
Does anyone has an idea?

I'd be checking how those original iViews were defined - quite possibly they aren't built in the same way. The island needs to load some libraries and will be relying on a relative path to find these libs - if the path to the app is not defined in a "normal" way then this link may not resolve correctly.
Worst case - rebuild your iViews if that is working for you.

Adobe Flash update will not load WHY!!!!!!!!

I can't play anything requiring an Adobe Flash upgrade. Because I can't load the Adobe Flash Upgrade it works fine on my Explorer web browser but it will not load on firefox and it tells me to turn off firefox. I just sent in $30 dollars as a supporter of FireFox. Not that that matters. But what is the problem I can't be the only one with this problem. Dreamweaver embedded flash content will not load in IE7

My company standard is IE7
I'm charged with developing flv that will auto play on PC from a removable thumb drive.
in addition it should be able to launch a url.
I'm using CS4 Flash and Dreamweaver
developing on a Mac.
I've used action script 3 to program buttons that start, stop and launch url
I've worked everything out on a Mac.it works fine in Mac environment.
I've gotten swf files to autoplay on PC
the PROBLEM?
when I try load the html web page on the PC with IE7 the flash content (either a swf or flv embedded using Dreamweaver) does not load.
IF I leave the IE specific html in the code IE7 returns a message that flash player needs to update. - IT has installed the latest version of flash player.
if I extract the sniffer/alternative code the flash content does not load there is no message
If the swf file auto loads and plays then Why is that a problem?
action script - to launch url execution launches as a security warning and the trusted settings window
not very seamless eh?
so the alternative is to play the flash content embedded in html and create launch url button in html . . . but ofcourse flash content won't load in IE7.
I've not been able to test the code on any other version of IE

So right now you have a SWF file that plays and FLV file and it's not loading in IE7. Is the testing server that you are using NOT on your local machine? The reason I ask this is because IE will typically block content if it is hosted on the local machine and treat it as a security risk, prompting the message you refer to.
Also would it be possible for us to see the code you are using for the plugin? Most users here will be able to help troubleshoot any issues with the HTML code if we can see it, however, there is a possibility that the fix may be in Flash, in which case you should cross-post this in the Flash forum as well for assistance just in case.

To the moderator I apologize for an earlier "test" post I was unaware nay ignorant of a test forum . . .

I am having the very same problem and have done exactly the same... generated my html through flash professional CS5. It works great in IE8 but is just a blank page in IE7. You did not post the solution, did you find one?
My flash generated code is here http://www.asessippi.com/test/calendar.html will all of the supporting files in the same folder, and nothing else in there.
Any suggestions?

Macbook Pro Flash videos will not load on any browser?

On my macbook pro all of a sudden all flash based videos such as youtube will not load and freeze before they are loaded. IT does not work on safari, chrome, or firefox. have uninstalled and reinstalled flash. Used Disk utility. Empted cache. Any idea what is wrong? This problem just started this week. Internet connection is good.

Download OnyX and run all the checks, maintaince and cleaning aspects and reboot at the end.

Flash Island: "Movie not loaded"

Hi guys,
I'm implementing some Flash Islands in a WDA application already divided in different components:
- HOME component
-- Sub 1
-- Sub 2
The weird part is, one flash island works in Sub 1, and the other one doesn't work in Sub 2.
And I can't seem to find the error.. sometimes the MIME repo acts funny and places the MIME obj in another package, or doesn't seem to find it. Anybody have any experience with this and perhaps solutions or things I can try? And yes, filenames are correct, MIME should be correct also.

Fixed the problem. Apparantly there was a problem with the MIME in the Web Dynpro component (no idea how)
So we uloaded it in the MIME repository of SE80 (not the wd comp.) in the directory SAP/BC/WEBDynpro/SAP/PUBLIC/example
Lets say file name is test.swf and it's in the above mentioned directory, i refer to it as /example/test.swf
And this solution worked perfectly.

P45 Diamond flashed Bios will not load OS

I flashed my BIOS using MSI Live Update and now my system will not fully load Windows XP. The system boots and I can get into the CMOS but hangs when loading WIN XP even in safe mode or when I try do a reinstall or repair from the installation disc. On one boot up I got a "STOP 000000" message repeated all down the screen. HELP!!!!

Flash Player will NOT load

I recently insatlled IE11. Since that installation I am asked to update Flash Player but it will NOT install. It gets part way, stops and says to retry. When I do so the same thing happens. HELP!

Full internet signal however when I open a web browser it sometimes will not load.

About 80% of the time my web browser (Safari or chrome) will not open the internet. I am connected wirelessly and have no other issues with the other mac and PC in the house. This a 15" 2011 Mac book Pro and have already had the Hardrive replaces after having it for 2 weeks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need to specify a MIME type attribute. 
Otherwise Firefox doesn't know which plugin to use. 
Using type="application/x-mplayer2" will use the Windows Media player.

Flash videos will not load

So I have a problem loading pretty much any flash videos in
both Firefox and IE. The video will load to a certain point and
then stop, and nothing I do will get it load further, not even
refreshing the page. I have to close out of the browser and get
back to it to have any chance of watching more. On YouTube, I can
sometimes click further on to make it start loading from there, and
even that stops working eventually. It's really, really annoying,
and I'm pretty sure it's something with Flash and not Java. Anyone
else have this?

Flash plugin will not load

i go to the website, i download the stupid thing but the weird thing is that when i try to get the plugin to download from firefox, it won't pull up the liscence and then fail to load
it saids i have no flash plug in

Adobe Flash Games Will Not Load

I have updated Firefox to latest version 26.0...also updated Adobe flash to Version 12.0.7.148...also updated video drivers for Pc..also cleared cache...also updated windows xp to windows 7..also made sure all add on were enabled that are suppose to be...also have disabled hardware acceleration both in Firefox and shockwave settings..have uninstalled and reinstalled everything..also have ran malware bytes several times and runnning microsoft security essencials ..Also have tried running Firefox in safe mode.HOWEVER I still can not get adobe games to load. WHAT am i missing?

Thanks for the reply. I just worded that wrong i do have adobe flash player latest version installed as well clicked your link to double check. I have been going at this for 5 hours a day for a week now still no improvement. Also let me add i cant even watch youtube videos via FF or IE or opera..however I can with chrome....also with chrome i can play flash games however there real slow and choppy even with all updates and hardware acceleration clicked off. this is why im trying to switch from chrome..any more suggestions? thanks
P.s. ive even tried last resort and unistalled flash and tried some archived version still no imporvement... now back with latest version

HTML Page with Flash Video will not load in Firefox and Chrome

When going to the page http://www.airsept.com/linespliceanimation.html in Firefox (latest version) I am prompted to either open or save the file as if I clicked a link to download a file. Going to this web page in Google Chrome displays the code.
What the crap is going on? I can't figure it out. It works as it should in IE 7.

It looks like you fixed it. You should close it now so so it won't be listed as open.
