I have this problem too.
Although we use AIX now I have one HP N-class server
which will not run SAPINST due to this error.
I have the latest patches and
I have tried three different levels of the aCC++ library
3.50 (minimum required) 3.60 and 3.61.
OSS tells me that this is "always" due to ulimits being too
low. Well I set maxtsize ,maxssize and maxdsiz at the
maximum allowable number (and ulimit to same) to no effect.

any body can give the solution please
thanks
sareenSareen,
Seems you are having problem with the Export CD you are using for Installation.Change the Export CD,if possible try to download it from Service Market Place of SAP.
K.Kiran. -
When the installation is done according to the documentation,
web access does not work because the scripts that add entries to
the jserv.properties file add duplicate references to
wrapper.env and wrapper.classpath. Look at the jserv.properties
file below and look at the remarked-out (#) lines of the
duplicate references. For example, look at the references to the
wrapper.env=LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Oracle, please note this bug so the web access problems are
minimized when the product is intstalled.
Thank you,
William T.

# Set the default IP address or hostname Apache JServ binds (or
listens) to.
# If you have a machine with multiple IP addresses, this address
# will be the one used. If you set the value to localhost, it
# will be resolved to the IP address configured for the locahost
# on your system (generally this is 127.0.0.1). This feature is
so
# that one can have multiple instances of Apache JServ listening
on
# the same port number, but different IP addresses on the same
machine.
# Use bindaddress=* only if you know exactly what you are doing
here,
# as it could let JServ wide open to the internet.
# You must understand that JServ has to answer only to Apache,
and should not
# be reachable by nobody but mod_jserv. So localhost is usually a
# good option. The second best choice would be an internal
network address

How to write a Xml installation file to build web installer using IzPack.
Hai everyone,
I have got a problem in building a web installer using IzPack.I am getting this exception, when I am compiling my install.xml using a compile tool provided by IzPack soft.Eventhough I have not mentioned "packsinfo.xml" in my Xml installation file.
Fatal error :
null\packsinfo.xml (The system cannot find the path specified)
java.io.FileNotFoundException: null\packsinfo.xml (The system cannot find the path specified)
What went wrong??
It is very very urgent. Could anyone tell me how to write a Xml installation file for building web installer, please??
any help will be highly appreciated....
Thank you very much in advanceHi,
that is not really a java related question. Have you tried to find some IzPack support forum? I've never heard about it, so I can't help. -
I am trying to decide between upgrading Framemaker 8 to FM 10 or migrating to Madcap Flare. I need to produce both print and web outputs and most of the documents are structured. I have lots of legacy FM files.
I downloaded and installed Flare without problems but found that it does not have runin paragraph styles and some of the FM features that allow styles to cross columns.
I tried to install FM but got error messages. I downloaded the Adobe installer diagnostic tool and it said there were conflicting programs to the FM installation but was not specific on what they were. Basically I went down the same route and had the same problems as mentioned in a similar post about Robohelp installation problems:http://forums.adobe.com/message/3422315
Unlike Madcap, Adobe support is pretty difficult to contact and it has taken literally days to fix problems with other adobe programs.
I am using a 2011 Macbook Pro using Bootcamp Win 7 64 bit home version. I also have parallels installed and can run FM 8 on either system. Acrobat Pro X is installed.
Here is the error log (edited to remove redundant line breaks):

Unable to Download Reader - Web Site Problem
I cannot download Reader due to a serious Adobe Web Site problem.
When I go to -
http://www.adobe.com/uk/
and select "download reader" - I get sent to
http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
I then click on "install now" - and I get sent to
http://www.adobe.com/uk/
AND SO IT GOES ON AND ON IN CIRCLES.
I require the circle breaking so I can download a copy of the Reader software.
Message was edited by: wychegnomeI have run Regedit and found two instances of z:rc204D Content\iPad Media\Pictures in keys My Pictures
These were in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\Shell Folders
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Redirecting these to the default MY PICTURES on the c: drive has allowed the installer to run and almost complete the process to the point of installing the files and putting an icon on the desktop.
It now whinges with Error 1923. Service Acrobat Update Service (AdobeARMService) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.
I am the only user of the computer and DO have full privileges. I get the same response when I run the installer program as An Administrator.
What else does it require to allow it to install properly? -
Web installer Java script error, file deletes it self
When i try to install Flash player or Adobe reader via WEB installer i get Script error, Object doesn't not support property or method text , http://127.0.0.1:7764/app/_js/main-merge.js. This happens on freshly installed Windows 7. 8.0. 8.1, on 20+ different Computers, on IE and Firefox, only full offline installers works, which is not happy solution for me, and also installer deletes it self and instalation gets stuck in memmory. All latest updates are installed on PC's, including latest Java, and we tried without any Antivirus solutions.
EDIT:Can i get some answers from Adobe regarding this? There are tons of costomers calling me now with same issue, nobody can update their Adobe Reader/Flash player using your WEB installer.
I just freshly installed one Server 2012 without single softawre or anything, and tried instlaling Adobe reader and i got this:
http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag30/ivicask/Error_zpseb3cd862.jpgI don't know the right place to report website problems. Product bugs can be reported at https://bugbase.adobe.com/ but download issues...?
You could try http://forums.adobe.com/community/download_install_setup - there is always an Adobe staff presence. -

Log Message:
get the Mac DMG web installer up-to-date to player 10.0.0.591
Modified Paths:
flex/sdk/trunk/in/player/10/mac/Install Flash Player 10 UB.dmgHi, I appreciate your comments. Since I don't use Mac it's not as easy for me to know exactly where Flash Player files are, etc. as I do with the PC.
There is also a difference of opinion among Mac users regarding the need to Uninstall the current version of Flash Player before Installing the new version. The instructions from Adobe are to use the Uninstaller first. Any update of Flash Player is a new version, not an addon to the current version.
The Uninstaller from my understanding is also changed when a new Flash Player version is released. I don't know if you Uninstalled the 10.1 prior to trying to Install the 10.2, but this may have had something to do with the problem. Then also, the Shockwave Flash plugin for Safari may have been disabled.
Several things to check when a new Flash Player is released.
Thanks,

Help!
I'm trying to install the new iTunes 6.0 and I'm getting a message during installation that says

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternative pathway to a folder containing the installation package "HpSdpAppCoreApp.msi" in the box below."
The last time I dug through some files on my own, bad things happened.

Installation problem on SUSE 12.1
Hi
I'm a Linux beginner and I am trying to install LV on SUSE 12.1
I've also posted my problems on Lava:
http://lavag.org/topic/15240-labview-installation-problem-on-suse-121/
The installation started and it looks quite all right, but when I try to start LabVIEW, the application just sits in the taskbar for about 20 seconds and then just disappears.
Any ideas?
Is there a way to debug to see what's going on?
Cheers,
Mike
Solved!
Go to Solution.Hi Mike,
Unfortunately, there are no versions of LabVIEW supported on SUSE 12.1 at present. Here's a link to LabVIEW version compatibility with different Linux distributions. I saw from your other forum that you're attempting to install LabVIEW 2009, which is certified for SUSE 11.0 at the latest.

Hello all
I need your help for troubleshooting an installation problem on a Win8 (x64) client. There is already JavaJRE installed, but we wanted to install some other versions, too. But it didn't work. So we tried to unistall to curently version. This was running badly. Now there entry is removed from windows software, but the software is still on the system. Always if we try to install any java, we get a failure message with no error discription. So we looked for some installation logs, but I can't find the problem. Can you have a look? What can I do?
Thank you guys for your support.
