WebAsABAP

Hi,
My scenario is File to IDoc.
I have gone through michal's weblog "/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/10/registering-a-new-technical-system-in-sld--abap-based, done as per the blog.
So, I do want to create TS with type of WebAsABAP. How do we create that. Or above configuration is enough !!!
Cheers.,
Abhi

• Logical system creation in BD54

hey guys
i have a very silly question,i m really confusing myself.
well i m doing a IDOC to File scenario.
on the R/3 side i have RFC dest(SM59) and Port(we21) in place, both pointing to the XI system.Port is SAPXD1(XD1 is system ID of the XI system).
i m confused in BD54 and WE20.
i go in BD54 to create a logical system with the name XD1CLNT100(XD1 is the system ID of the XI system and 100 is the client)
then i go in WE20 and create a partner profile, with the same name as Logical system(XD1CLNT100),then in the outbound side i enter the IDOC i m gonna send and give the Port name as SAPXD1.
lemme know if the above steps are right?
now my stupid question is,when we create a logical system in BD54,is that the logical system for R/3 or for XI?
is this the same logical system name which i have to use in SLD to create a business system for the sender service?
i have gone through lots of blog and links and m really confused.
please dont send any links.
appreciate ur help
thanx
ahmad

Ahmad,
Get in touch with the Basis Team. They should be able to give you the Logical System name of your R3 system . Normally it always is , SID"CLNT"ClientNumber.
You will only create on Business System and this will be the One for the R3 system using the R3's logcial system name.
When the Idoc is sent from R3, it will search in the SLD with its logical system name to find what the correspionding Bsuiness System is. After it finds the Business System it will fill the SOAP header with details like Sender Service and Sender Interface and Sender NameSpace and with these values deterkine the receiver.
As you are doing a file to Idoc, the receiver can be a thrid party business system or a business service.
The Receiever System is also a WebASABAP business system in case you are doing an Idoc to Idoc and that is a different case altogether

• Message interface does not exist in any software components

Hi masters,
I'm having problems with this message in my repository when I try to create an Interface determination with two interfaces mapping: "Message interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system".
note: I have read all the posts about this problem but nothing has solved it.
I will describe more or less how is my SLD.
First all, my Technical System is an Web AS ABAP (non a third party).
I have created two receivers determination, with out problems, then, created the interface determination, with two Inbound interface, BUT, when I create a condition, the message appears, and the XPath doesn't shows the nodes for do the condition..
I have checked the GUID, and that's good.
NOTE: I have a second SWC but this is a third party... and when I test to do the same in this system, I have NO problems... so.. what is wrong with the Web As ABAP?
Regards and thanks

did you mean:
SLD -> Technical System->Technical System Type: WebAsAbap-> Installed Products->Add New Product and add my Software Component???
if is this, I have already done this, and still doesn't works.
Thanks

• Sync-async bridge doubts ...

Hi everyone.
I've developed a sync async bridge fro this scenario ..
sync abap proxy (request) -
> XI -
> abap proxy (BW response)
I've developed the BPM as XI pattern about sync-async bridge.
Problem is that i don't have the configuration part of the patern so that's what i've done.
i have a business service as sender, that. This BPM has a transformation step between the receive step that opens the bridge and the send step that closes the bridge.
i have a receiver determination with business service as sender and BPM as receiver.
when i test the scenario i get the error that no receiver determination found.
i need some help for this.
Regards,
Inigo.

Hi,
For the ABAP proxy as the sender you should not use a business service, You need to create a WebAsABAP bsuiness system pointing to your Client of the R3 system and use this as the sender service.
If you have done this, check the details of the message in MONI.What is the Sender Service, Sender Interface and sender Namespace. have you create the Receiver Determination for these values?

• Unable to create Business System with role Integration Server

hi Experts,
we are unable to create a BS with role of integration server, its throwing error with internal server 500.
please advise. we do not have any issues while creating TS with role of WEBASABAP.
thanks and regards,
Kesava
Edited by: Prateek Raj Srivastava on Jan 23, 2012 12:13 AM

Hi Kesava,
what is the purpose of creating a business system of type IS? This is automatically done in the post installation by CTC templates. So if the post installation is successfully executed, this should already be there. And if not you should check if the post installation was properly executed and if there where problems analyse why they occured.
The creation of the BS is just one part of the game, so I would highly recommend to execute the hole post configuration via template or follow the help.sap.com and execute it step by step manually in the described order. Otherwise i guess this will not work.
If there where just problems with SLD - please also have a look at SA Note 1117249 - Incomplete Registration of PI components in SLD

• Change R/3-XI in R/3-XI-XI

Hi,
we have a scenario R/3-XI and we want to change this scenario to R/3-XI-XI.
In our old szenario we have only configured a IDoc-Receiver with rfc-destination and port.
We do not have a IDoc-Sender because we use the IDoc as Interface in the receiver-recipient of ID.
Can anybody help me please?
Regards
Stefan

Stefan,
In the case when mapping needs to be done on XIB this is what you would need to do,
XIA SLD:
1. Create a Business System for R3.
2. Create a Business System for XIB --> This wil be a WebASABAP bsuiness system .
XIB SLD :
1. Export the Business System and Technical system created in step 2 under in XIA and import it int he SLD of XIB.
Same as earlier
XIA IR:
Just import the Idoc. the Idoc will acts as the sender and the receiver interface.Apart fromimporting the Idoc in the XIA 's IR nothing else needs to be done.
The configuration will continue to be as earlier. Just that Idoc is the sender and receiver Interface.
XI A : ID
1. Sender Service will be R3's Business System and Receiver Service will be XIB's Business System.
2. The reciever adapter will be a XI adapter and will use the url http://server name of XIB : httpport of XI B/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
XI B : IR:
1. Import the Idoc in the Imported Objects
2. Create the datatype , message type and inbound message interface for the target system as needed.
3. Create the mapping between the idoc and the target message.
XI B ID:
1. sender service will be The WebASABAP Business System if XIB.
2. Receievr service can be any Receivr Business System / Service created in SLD of XI B.
3. Sender Interface will be the idoc and receiver interface will be the Inbound Interface created int he IR of XIB.
4. Interface determination will have the interface mapping here.

• Party and party without service

Hi,
As per my understanding, the "Party" in IB-Config is mainly used for B2B integration and "Service without Party" is mainly used for A2A integration.
Under B2B scenario, one won't know the details of the application details of the partner's application, therefor we use "Business Service" , similarly for A2A scenario, one has the knowledge of the applications within the same organization and thereyby we use "Business System" in ID.
If my above statement is true ,then why do we have "Business System" under "Party" while defining the Collaboration Profile Objects in Integration Directory and similarly why do we have "Business Service" under "Service without party"?
Thanks
sahil

Hi Sahil,
If you defined Bussines System in SLD with all details ,then we use Bussiness System in IB,its not true that for A2A Scenarios we use Bussiness System ,B2B we use Bussiness Service.
If its possible to define Your Lnadscape Systems in SLD as WebAsABAP or WebAsJAVA in this case we use Bussiness System,in other case we go for Bussiness Servvice.

• Configuration Port in Inbound IDoc?

Hi~
There is a scenario "File to IDoc".
The flow of the scenario is legacy file system -> XI -> R/3.
Then,
Is it correct to configure only in XI using IDX1 & IDX2?
If it isn't correct, then should I configure in R/3 using WE20 & WE21, too?

Hi,
>In R/3
1. RFC Destination pointing to XI. (SM59)
2. Create Port using RFC Destination in WE21.
3. Partner Profile in WE20.
perfect on R3. The only difference will be that the Partner Profile now will have an Outbound Idoc as R3 is sending the Idoc. In the case of Idoc to file, the partner profile will have an inbound entry in it.
SLD 0f XI
1. Create tech System for the r3 system -> this will be a webasABAP
2. Create business system for the CLient of the r3 system --> webasABAP and make sure that tyhe logical system name is correct.
Use this business system as the sender system.
Partner Profiles are always done on the SAP R3 system.

• SAP Enterprise Connector

Hi Experts
I tried generating Proxy classes for first time for FlightAppList using SAP Enterprise connector by selecting Single Server option, I have installed SAP Management Console on the system having host name 'sap-server', the details i provided was as follows:
HostName:'sap-server'
System Number: 00
SAP Router:
User Account
Client : 001
LogonName: pradeep
Password: password
Language:ENG
but i get the error as
Connect to SAP failed
Error: Partner not reached
Do i need to do any settings on SAP Netweaver console.
Kindly let me know.

Configuring webasabap needs SAP security library which can be downloaded at sap market place, but it needs a license username password which i dont have.
I have only downloaded the trial version "SAPNW2004sJavaSP9_Trial" is there a way i can connect my java program to SAP database without having any license?

• SLD and ID Settings

Hi group,
I am working on ABAP Proxy Interface, could you please let me know what are the settings I have to make in SLD (Business Systems)and Integration directory.RFC destinations,it is working fine.

Hi,
You have to create a Busciness System in SLD as WebAsABAP. and you
Regarding Proxy Scenario We need 3 RFC destinations in R/3 System.
STEP1:
1.TCP\IP connections
1.1.LCRSAPRFC
1.2.SAPSLDAPI
2.Settings are to be done in SLDAPICUST transaction
3.Http Connection: -
3.1.PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER
Purpose of LCRSAPRFC:
In order to get the interface details in SPROXY transaction.
Purpose of SAPSLDAPI
To connect to SLD and get the respective business system name maintained in SLD,
Purpose Of SLDAPICUST
Next Execute transaction SLDAPICUST to maintain the SLD access data.
Purpose of PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER
Create a destination of type H in transaction SM59.This connection is used to send the message to the Integration server
STEP2:
Creating IR and ID objects in XI.
STEP3:
goto SPROXY tcode in R/3 and create Proxies on MI in R/3. And Impliment Interface and call the proxy using Report.
Thanks.

• BusinesSystem with blank Logical System Name

Hi All, I add a new client to an WebAsABAP Technical System using :
SLD>TechnicalSystems>myTechnicalSystem>Clients>AddNewClient
ClientNumber: 123
LogicalSystemName: SIDCLNT123
and than I set the new Client number to the old businessSystem, using:
SLD>BusinessSystems>myBusinessSystem>Integration>Change...-->210 of TST
Now in the Integration tab on myBusinessSystem the LogicalSystemName is blank.
any suggestion please.
Tnk
Domenico

Hi Domenico,
I have faced the same problem in my current implementation.
What i did was i deleted the Business System and then created the Bs System with the same name. After that you refresh SLD cache.
I did the following steps
Remove the existing client in TS
Add the new client n TS
Remove the business system
Add the new business system with new client.
In ID remove the dependencies of the business system.
Remove the business system.
Save and Activate.
Assign new business system in ID.
save and activate.
Hope It helps

• Communication among defferent systems

hi experts ,
I have the scenario as following:
One file system is sending a file to XI server (XIA) and from there XIA sending to another XI server (XIB) and finally to the destination file system.
I am not getting why they have used two XI servers to send the same file.
Please help me in the same regard.
Thanks
sreenivasulu

Use the XI adapter for Xi to XI communication.
XI - A
1. IR create outbound message interface and inbound message interface liek for any File to File Scenario.
2. Id , sendr service will be your file servive, receievr service will be the WebASABAP system you create in SLD for XI B.
3. Create Receievr Determination, Sender Agreement and Receiver Agremeent here. Receievr Adapter will be XI adapter with the details of XI B
XI - B
1. Use same message interface name used for Inbound Message interface in XI - A and use it as the outbound message interface here. Create IR content with stright mappings.
2. Now, creatre ID obecjts with File adapter as Recieevr Adapter , no sender adapter and correspondiong Receievr Determination. Sender Service will here be XI - A WebAS ABAP Business Systrem created in the SLD.
