Webdynpro iview to anonymous user

hi,
I have developent a local development component in webdynpro.
For this webdynpro application i have to create an iview and assign it to an anonymous user.
But if i create an webdynpro iview and assign it to the anonymous user, it gave me an exception of accss denied for the anonymous use.
Portal Runtime Error

How to assign the webdynpro iview to the anonymous user,
Why is the access denie for the anonymous user.

Content Alignment in webdynpro iView based on user language

Hi,
We have a webdynpro application which has a search screen
(Arabic as well as English), based on the user language setting in Portal UME, the respective language text with options are displayed.
This webdynpro application runs on same WAS where Portal is running.
When we test this application standalone like typing the URL of the webdynpro application, it shows english text with Left to right aligned content in browser for user X with Language as EN.
When we test this application standalone like typing the URL of the webdynpro application, it shows arabic text with Right to Left aligned content in browser for user Y with Language as Arabic.It works fine when it is stand alone (when we directly run the webdynpro).
We created a WebDynpro iView in Portal, and we tested with user Y (whose language is set to Arabic), issue is text is properly displayed in Arabic, but the content alignment is left to right, which should be Right to Left.
Please let me know your solution/thought to the above mentioned issue/problem.

Hi,
The webdynpro application works fine (alignment and content is fine)when i access it directly.
When i create a webdynpro iView and run it inside portal it is not working fine (alignment is LTR instead of RTL)
I went through the SAP help <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/6e/8aae409567942ae10000000a155106/frameset.htm">RTL Alignment</a>and tried creating new themes and created a new desktop and assigned it to the user. It is still the same with LTR alignment.
The issue is, why it is not working inside PRT, when it works fine inside WebDynpro Runtime.

Web Dynpro iView for Anonymous user

Hi All,
I created a Web Dynpro iView based on local Web Dynpro application. I am trying to access this iView as a anonymous user. I have given Authentication mode as
"flase". In iView properties and Page properties Authentication Scheme is "anonymous". In all permissions I added "Anonymous Group" and given Read and End User permissions. After doing all these things Still it is prompting me for Login. My Server is 2004s SP 10.
Please Somebody tell me what I am missing.

Hi Sreekanth,
I think you have to assign this iview to the standard user role which you can find under Portal content ->Portal users -> standard portal users -> Standard user role and assign this to group "Everyone" (if not already done).
Then you should be able to access this iview directly. Let me know if it works.

Url iview for anonymous user

We have an url iview with two Language-specific URLs (en and es) and a default URL. This iview is in anonymour portal page.
The first time that an anonymous user accees to /irj/portal/anonymous the url iview shows the default url instead of the en URL. Browser lengauge is EN.
How can i solve this??

Hi,
There are two condition for the URL Language-specific :
1. You must first create the URL iView and then use the editor to use this
feature. It is not available in the URL iView Wizard.
2. You cannot apply a different look and feel to language-specific URLs.
iView content will be displayed at runtime in its native format as defined in
the source Web page. For more information, see the Keep
source formatting option in Defining the Look and Feel of the iView Content.
The remaining look and feel rendering option are supported by the default URL only.
In addition there is an option to check the service configuration of the Language-specific :
com.sap.portal.admin.wizardframework:
edit the SourceLocales field check that the requested Language is defined and if not you can add it
( Follow note# 1078145 )
After doing so , please restart the service , and check the results.
If the problem still exist let me know and we can have further investigation.

Accessing Quick poll iView though anonymous users

Hi all,
I have created a quick poll and i want to assign this poll to anonymous users only, so i have put the user "Anonymous" to Participants.
After that i have put the Campaign name to Content Admin. >> Content Provided By SAP >> End User Content >> Standard User >> Iviews >> com.sap.km.iviews-->Quick Poll Iview property : Campaign to be used.
And set the Quick Poll Iview authetication scheme to anonymous.
But while accessing the iview from home page its displaying the login page , and after login i am able th view my poll.
I want to display the view in home page to anonymous users only.
Could you please tell me where exactly I have gone wrong?

Anonymous user access to GP Process iView

Hi GP/Portal Gurus,
I've created an iView for my GP process. The problem is only authenticated users can successfully access to this GP Process iView. Anonymous users will get an error in accessing GP process iView. I've given the Page and iView authentication scheme as anonymous. But still, it doesn't work.
The error message is:
"com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.session.SessionExpiredLongJumpException: Application session has expired: No application session with ID oJji4PrZdG5ox8ITkiHTpAsDdNOJtMyv78EPQ66xiLlA/pcd:portal_content/cafUAT/formBrole/sap.com/cafeugpuiinst/AInstantiation/base exists. Hint: A follow-up request was sent to Web Dynpro, but no corresponding session was found under the existing sessions. Reasons: a) Session has expired; b) Web Dynpro is called with incorrect session parameters; c) Application session has been destroyed due to proceeding exception. Please restart the application..."

Url ivew for anonymous user

I have created an HTML file in content management and a corresponding URL iview to display the file. I can preview this iview.
I have set the authentication scheme to anonymous and have assigned anonymous user as an end user with read permissions. When I tried toload the iview as anonymous user, a pop up login screen is being displayed. How can I remove this

If you have a way to get to your portal anonymously, you should be able to copy the permissions for the anonymous user and use it in the iview. I'd first go back and recheck the permissions.

Anonymous user Unbale to access an WebDynpro ABAP iView

Hi,
I have developed an application using webdynpro ABAP and integrated that into portal.
For this webdynpro application i have to create an iview, assigned it to a page, assigned this page to a custom role. I also set Authentication to anonymous for the page and iView. Assinged the custom role created to anonymous Group.
But while running it i am getting an error "An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator. Exception ID 04:55_25/10/11_0047_14739050"
When I checked the log, it shows the error as "Deprecated scope of type SERVERSESSION_AT_LEAST_ONE_APP_SCOPE is used! Please replace the usage of scopes with new
mechanism based on "Cross application session communication API".
I also checked the note 1031159 and changed the configurations accordingly but getting the same above error.
I am on EP7.3 version.
Please guide me to move further successfully in showing the webdynbpro abap applicaiton to anonymous user.

I'm also working on EP7.3 and R3 WD4A integration. But I just can't find any WD for ABAP from whithin EP7.3 wizard.
I tried to create the WD4A iview by right-clicking a PCD folder and then "New"->"iView"->"iView from remote source" to get a search screen. I choose a system alias (point to bk web as), use "*" as application id, and pick "WebDynpro for ABAP" as the application type.
However, I always got "Nothing found. Change your search criteria."
I did do some activation work on backend R3 SICF setting. I'm able to directly access web dynpro via http://mywebas.domain:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/mywd....
If you're using the same scenario, please let me know anything I missed or any other special setting.

Unbale to access an Anonymous WebDynpro iView

I am facing small problem while trying to access an WebDynpro iView by an Anonymous User.
EX: Anonymous UserName: John
Getting this Exception: Error in Service call of Portal Component User: John
and specifying Caused by: Portal Runtime Exception and Null Pointer Exception.
I changed the WebDynpro Iview and WebDynpro Page Authentication scheme Property to Anonymous in Portal and assigend to a Role and that Role to Anonymous Users Group also.
Please guide me to move further successfully

Anonymous User for KM-Navigation iViews

hi everyone.
we have created some anonymous content and included some Km navigation iviews which access document folders.
we cannot see any documents at click on this iview and no logon window appears either.
i have changed the permissions for the repository to include anonymous user with full control and i have changed the authentication scheme for anonymous in the iview
we tried this for a FSDB repository.
we are on EP 6.0 sp11.
can anyone help

Are the documents inheriting the permissions? Initially try setting the documents with "Everyone - Full Control" and see if that helps.

IView Personalization (Web Dynpro Java) for Anonymous User

Hello All,
Is it possible for anonymous user to see iView personalization (Web Dynpro Java) when personalized by an administrator? What I did was create new role and iView making available to anonymous user. This work fine meaning I can view iView using URL http://<servername>:<port>/irj/portal/anonymous . But the personalization I made to iView using administrator mode launching iView in preview mode and then using personalization dialog by choosing Ctrl and secondary mouse button to personalize is not showing. Iu2019m currently on EP7 SP15 and using iView type Web Dynpro Java for the development component sap.com/tcsecumewdenduser application name LogonHelpApp.
Any help is very much appreciated.

Yes, the Web Dynpro for Java Personalization is working perfect for non-anonymous users. The issue is when I view same iView using anonymous URL http://<servername>:<port>/irj/portal/anonymous the personalization is not showing just defaults back to the original Web Dynpro Java application settings. The iView that I created and personalized is the new Logon Help Dynpro Java application (LogonHelpApp). Is there some permissions that restricts anonymous user to view personalization?

KM iview and redirect to webdynpro iview

In my workset I have a page with an image (iview 1) and a redirect iview (KM iview).
This redirect iview reads the screen resolution (javascript) and will pass it to a webdynpro application (so Interactive forms or tables are at the right size).
Redirection is done via body onload="redirectMe()")
This redirectMe will add the width and height to the webdynpro application (of course via an iview definition) with DynamicParameter.
The navigation function EPCM.doNavigate is used, but that results in a screen flicker.
What I would like to do is open the wd iview only in the KM iframe. We have anonymous users and logged in users (thus meaning several roles / worksets).

could be an option (preview mode), but I am not aware of any possible issues with it.

Access to WPC Web Pages by Anonymous Users?

Hello,
i want to give anonymous users access to Web Pages that were created with the Web Page Composer.
In did the following:
1. create the Web Pages,Site Navigation etc....
2. edited the permissions of the site: grant anonymous users Read Access.
3.included the site navigation into the navigation of the anoymous users
When i access the portal as anonymous users and try to open a Web Page, i get a logon screen for Authentification.
I think that there is a problem, that i didn't find any way to set the Authentification Scheme for these Web Pages to "Anonymous". This is the way it has to be done with other iViews.
When i am accessing the page with an authenticated users, i have no problem with displaying the same Web Pages.
Is there anywhere an attribute i need to set? Or is it currently not supported?

Default Containers. All of the iViews in this location should have the
"anonymous" authentication scheme. The next location which should be
checked is Content Administration -> Portal Content -> Portal Content ->Web Page Composer -> iView Templates. Again all of the iViews should
have the "anonymous" authentication scheme. The same applies to all the
templates which reside in Content Administration -> Portal Content ->
Portal Content -> Web Page Composer -> Page Layout Templates. Finally
check if all the pages which reside in Content Administration -> Portal
Content -> Portal Content -> Web Page Composer -> Page Layouts have the
"anonymous" authentication scheme.
2. Configuration in KM - make sure that all the pages, which should be
displayed to an anonymous user have in their permissions the Anonymous
Users Group.
3. Security zones - if you go to System Administration -> Permissions ->Security Zones -> com.sap.nw.wpc -> wpc -> no_safety and you open the
permissions of this object, the Anonymous Users group must be added in
the list.
If all mentioned objects have their setting as described and you still
experience problems (e.g. you see a browser dialog window for
authentication), the reason most probably is, that the KM is not
configured for anonymous access. A full description of the needed steps
is provided with note 837898.

How can i display my iviews in anonymous page

I have created some iviews and I have created a role for all these i views and assigned this role to anonymous user group.
when i access the anonymous page,i get the info"contents not exsits or not enabled",well how can i display my iviews in anonymous page
