Webi division

Question

Hi All
I have a variable object in Webi XI 3.1 SP2 FP 2.4 which has been converted from Full Client 651. The object works fine in full client, however the column is blank (no data or error displayed) in Webi and I would have expected date to be returned for the prompts that have been selected.
Contents of variable are: =Round((Sum([Query 3 with HRPROD2].[Number of Applicants:Reqn]) In ([Field Value:Applicant UDF];[Query 3 with HRPROD2].[Requisition]) Where ([Query 3 with HRPROD2].[***:Applicant]="Female" And [Appointed (Yes/No)]="Yes"))/ [Number of Positions in Requisition];0)
I have broken the object down into its components parts and all the components return the expected values individually.
I noticed that when I replace the [Number of Positions in Requisition] (which is a count) with a integer value then a number value is returned.
I then went on to create new measure [sum object] and a measure [count object] and use then in the report
= [Sum Object] / [Count object] - blank column shown in report
= [Sum Object] / 7  - number value shown in column of the report
= 9 / [Count Object]   - number value shown in column of the report
Anyone got any ideas how to get round this problem?

thanks for your thoughts, the "Number of Positions in Requisition" is a COUNT measure object. which counts the number of positions in a particular requisition from one of the three data providers in this report.
My understanding is that a count object returns a number, but it appears that I cannot use a count and sum object to do mathematical calculations.
can anyone point out were I am going wrong?
