WebI on SharePoint - single object

Hi, we have scenario where there is one WebI report with 2 tables and 1 graph. Is there any possibility to show only one graph (single object) inside SharePoint site?
I know there is IOMS, but it doesn't fulfill our needs, because it can view only report as a whole (2 tables and 1 graph).
Versions:
SAP BO 4.0
MS SharePoint 2010
Thank you.

Right click on the object and select Tools -> Separate Meshes which will divide the object into it's component parts (i.e. parts that aren't part of the same polygonal mesh will be divided)
From there, you can apply materials to them individually.
To rejoin them (you don't have to) just select them all, then right click and select Tools -> Collapse Hierarchy.

  • How to tell if ObjectProxy contains ArrayCollection or single object?

    When I get data back from a web service, the list contains an
    ArrayCollection. Within each ArrayCollection, the item may be

    appears FLEX supplies what it thinks is the correct type of

    If the ObjectProxy refers to an ArrayCollection, I want to

    Hi Srinivas,
    You can do this but it will be combination of ECMA and JS. First you need to get selected file name by ECMA script then call a java script function to print documents.
    Here is script to print all docs: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7187400/printing-multiple-pdf-files-using-javascript

  • Web Dynpro as Callable object in GP using PDF Forms

    Hi All,
    I somehow want to integrate a user filling out a pdf form within a Guided Procedure. So far I have created a local web dynpro DC and I want to make it a Web Dynpro Callable Object (GP Interface). The problem is, I want the user to be able to see the PDF form when filling out the form. For example, if they had a role in the portal where they can invoke the Web Dynpro application with the pdf form, then when they click submit on the pdf they invoke the guided procedure...is this possible? This is so, I can use the web dynpro to do some data validation and call some bapis to get info, then submit this all to the GP. Is this achievable? I know how to do most things, I just want to know things like when is the "execute" and "getDescription" methods called? I want my execute( com.sap.caf.eu.gp.co.api.IGPExecutionContext executionContext ) method to call a bapi also. Is that possible? How do I automate a GP process when I click submit on the pdf form?
    Thanks in advanced

    Hi,
    You can integrate a PDF control in a Web Dynpro view. Refer the following links for that:
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/dc/f1783fe3263042e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">Example of the Use of an Interactive PDF Form (SAP Library - Web Dynpro for Java)</a>

    Also you can create Web Dynpro Java callable object in GP by implementing the IGPWebDynproCO interface. Refer the following links for that:

    You can start a GP process using the public API:

    Also you can start a GP process using Web Service:

    Refering the above links you'll get a fairly good idea how to integrate Adobe forms in WDP and how to start GP process programitically. My suggestion for your requirement would be if always you need to start the process after the user submits the Adobe form, then consider having the Adobe form as the first step for the process. In that case you don't need to start the process programitically. Whenever the user starts filling up the Adobe form the GP process will start. You can refer <a href="/people/dipankar.saha3/blog/2007/03/02/how-to-present-your-gp-processes-to-the-end-user">this blog</a> on how to start a GP process as an iview link in portal.
    Otherwise if based on certain conditions you need to start the process then you can either use the Java API or the web service to start the process from Web Dynpro. You should have the Adobe form embedded in Web Dynpro and on submit event you can check the conditions and start the process if required.
    Thanks,
    Dipankar

  • Multiple Materials on a single object

    I'm sure I'm missing something...but I'm finding it impossible to use multiple materials form the 3D toolkit on a single object unless I separate the material differences to separate objects....which I'm sure is crazy. But if I import an object with multiple materials, there seems to be no way to assign the toolkit materials separately. If I drag a toolkit material to one part of the object...the entire object turns into that material. It would seem it would be right if you dragged a toolkit material to the materials list of the object....but that won't work either. Anyone know what I am missing here?
    Thanks in advance for any help

    Right click on the object and select Tools -> Separate Meshes which will divide the object into it's component parts (i.e. parts that aren't part of the same polygonal mesh will be divided)

  • Exposing Web Services as Callable Objects

    Hello!
    I have SAP NetWeaver 04s SP7. How can I expose Web Services as Callable Objects?
    According to "Exposing Web Services as Callable Objects" (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/44/4758351fcb1193e10000000a155369/frameset.htm), I should start with choosing type of CO "Service -> Web Service".
    Actually, I haven't this entry in CO type list!
    According to integrate Web Services with GP, this type appeared in SP8. What are the alternatives in SP7?
    "Background execution" and "External service" seem to be the best candidates...
    What is the best solution?
    Thanx in advance!

    Hello, Jan!
    I have SAP NWDS 7.0.07, and I cannot find there an option to create a CAF project. I can create Web service, EJB, Web DynPro, and something else - but not a CAF project. In documentation I did not find the connection points between NWDS and External Services, except some plug-ins.
    Maybe I've misunderstood you, sorry - I'm a newbie in SAP
    Actually, I've made a simple EJB, created a Web service from it, and deployed the WS to portal. Maybe, EJB instead of Web service can be somehow used in CAF?
    I've tried to create a CO of type Composite Application Service, but there was necessary to configure endpoint aliases. I've read the manual "Configuring Endpoint Aliases", but didn't succeed to make one for EJB remote call... I've defined the name, URL (http://<host_of_portal>:<portal_port>), user and pwd - but I've got an exception when tried to use the created alias:
    com.sap.caf.core.gp.servicelocator.exception.MetaModelBrowserException: Exception while trying to get InitialContext. at com.sap.caf.core.gp.servicelocator.CAFMetaModelBrowser.getAllApplications(CAFMetaModelBrowser.java:77) at com.sap.caf.core.gp.ui.backgroundco.admin.VSelect.browseCAFCore(VSelect.java:305) at com.sap.caf.core.gp.ui.backgroundco.admin.VSelect.onActionSelectEptAlias(VSelect.java:750) at com.sap.caf.core.gp.ui.backgroundco.admin.wdp.InternalVSelect.wdInvokeEventHandler(InternalVSelect.java:287) at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.generation.DelegatingView.invokeEventHandler(DelegatingView.java:87) at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.controller.Action.fire(Action.java:67) at
    Maybe, the easiest way is to upgrade the versions of SAP and NWDS?
    Are there some manuals that could provide me some help about:
    1) creating CAS from the deployed Web service (from its creation in NWDS till its use in CAF, step-by-step)
    2) binding Web Dynpro apps and Web services, using CAF and GP.
    Or maybe I should attend SAP courses?
    I have SAP NetWeaver 04s SP7 and NWDS ver. 7.0.07.
    Sorry for the messy post, I did my best

  • Subject: RE :(forte-users) Web enterprise & user visibleservice Objects

    A few months ago we faced a similar problem while migrating from classic
    Forte to Web. We had to protect our investment in various frameworks that we
    wrote for the classic Forte apps, which made use of extensive
    user-level-caching among other things.
    We solved the problem using a custom routing mechanism. In brief, we created
    several( replicated) server partitions that contains all the user-level
    Service objects that existed in the class-Forte apps. Then we wrote a
    'custom-router' which mimics Forte load-balanced router( dialog duration =
    session ) to intelligently route incoming HTTPRequests to one of these
    replicated partitions. The router would look at the some tag on the session
    and then route the request to one of these replicated "client clone" using
    the tag. Successive requests from the same client will go to the same
    replicated partition so that you can use the client-cache or any other
    per-user services.
    The advantages of this approach are
    1) You can continue to make use of caching and other user-level components
    that you may have.
    2) The web and classic Forte clients can work seamlessly if you write them
    to use reference partitions that hosts the other shared( Environment visible
    ) service objects.
    Ofcourse you will have to write ( and maintain )the custom-routing code and
    also pay attention to house-keeping. For example, the burdon of cleaning up
    the cache on logout or session expiration lies on you. If you don't do this,
    then your new user might be looking at an old cache of some other user.

    Hi
    We have taken a forte application and converted it to run on the web using

    In the forte application we have a user visible Local Cache Manager

  • Testing Process for Gathering Single Object stats.

    Hello Oracle Experts,
    I work a critical system and due to some high stakes all and every change is very heavily scrutinized here whatever the level is. And one of such changes which is currently under scrutiny is gathering object stats for single objects. Just to give you a background its an Oracle eBusiness site so fnd_stats is used instead of usual dbms_stats and we've an inhouse job that depending on the staleness of the objects gather stats on them using FND_STATS. (RDBMS : 10.2.0.4 Apps Release 12i).
    Now, we've seen that occasionally it leaves some of the objects that should ideally be gathered so they need to be gathered individually and our senior technical management wants a process around it - for gathering this single object stats (I know!). I think I need to explicitly mention here that this need to gather stale object stats has emerged becs one of the plans has gone pretty poor (from 2 ms to 90 mins) and sql tuning task states that stats are stale and in our PROD copy env (where the issue exists) gathering stats reverts to original good plan! So we are not gathering just because they are stale but instead because that staleness is actually causing a realtime problem!
    Anyway, my point is that it has been gathered multiple times in the past on that object and also it might get gathered anytime by that automatic job (run nightly). There arguments are:
    i. There may be several hundred sql plans depending on that object and we never know how many, and to what, those plan change and it can change for worse causing unexpected issues in the service!
    ii. There may be related objects whose objects have gone stale as well (for example sales and inventory tables both see related amount of changes on column stock_level) and if we gather stats only on one of them and since those 2 cud be highly related (in queries etc.) that may mess up the join cardinality etc. messing up the plans etc.
    Now, you see they know Oracle as well !
    My Oracle (and optimizer knowledge) clearly suggests me that these arguments are baseless BUT want to keep an open mind. So my questions are :
    i. Do the risks highlighted above stand any ground or what probably do you think is there of happening any of the above?
    ii. Any other point that I can make to convince the management.
    iii. Or if those guys are right, Do you guys use or recommend any testing strategy/process that you can suggest to us pls?
    Another interesting point is that, they are not even very clear at this stage how they are gonna 'test' this whole thing as the 'cost' option like RAT (Real Application Testing) is out of question and developing an inhouse testing tool still need analyzing in terms of efforts, worth and reliability.
    In the end, Can I request top experts from the 'Oak Table' network to make a comment so that I can take their backings!? Well I am hoping here they'll back me up but that may not necessarily the case and I obviously want an honest expert assessment of the situation and not merely my backing.
    Thanks so much in advance!

    Getting a stable strategy for statistics is not easy, requires careful analysis, and takes a lot of effort for complex systems.

    The ideal with stats collection is to do something simple to start with, and then build on the complex bits that are needed - something along the lines suggested by Dan Morgan works: a table driven approach to deal with the special cases which are usually: the extreme indexes, the flag columns, the time-based/sequential columns, the occasional histogram, and new partitions. Unfortunately you can't get from where you are to where you need to be without some risk (after all, you don't know which bits of your current strategy are causing problems).
    You may have to progress by letting mistakes happen - in other words, when some very bad plans show up, work out WHY they were bad (missing histogram, excess histogram, out of date high values) to work out the minimum necessary fix. Put a defensive measure in place (add it to the table of special cases) and run with it.
    As a direction to aim at - I avoid histograms unless really necessary, I like introducing function-based indexes where possible, and I'm perfectly happy to write small programs to fix columns stats (low/high/distinct) or index stats (clustering_factor/blevel/distinct_keys) and create static histograms.
    Remember that Oracle saves old statistics when you create new ones, so any new stats that cause problems can be reversed out very promptly.

  • What is the easiest way to move every single object in a PDF?

    I have 300 pdf documents containing a total of about 2000 pages of content... and I need to shift every single object in them a half inch to the right.
    Is there an easy or fast way to do this?  Im currently only able to select all objects on a single page, which makes this task... frustrating.

    You should be able to write a script to do the job. George Johnson posted a script for cropping pages based on landscape and portrait orientation recently that should suggest the approach. The commands can be found in the JavaScript manual from Adobe.

  • Using Sharepoint Client Object Model with large libraries (more than 5000 elements)

    Hi,
    i have issue with acccessing large list with more than 5000 elements. I use a Sharepoint Client Object Model.
    It worked till yesterday when in the list was less than 5000. Now there is in the library more than 5000 elements. I have changed in the Central Administration limit for list from 5000 to 10000, but it helped only for list views. Script returns now 0 records.
    var clientContext = new SP.ClientContext.get_current();
    var currentListId =_spPageContextInfo.pageListId;
    oList = clientContext.get_web().get_lists().getById(currentListId);
    var camlQuery = new SP.CamlQuery();
    camlQuery.set_viewXml('<View Scope=\"RecursiveAll\">'+
    '<Query>'+
    '<Where>'+
    '<And>'+
    '<Eq><FieldRef Name=\"ContentTypeId\"/><Value Type=\"Text\">'+contentTypeId+'</Value></Eq>'+
    '<And>'+
    '<Eq><FieldRef Name=\"_x0040_Client\" LookupId=\"TRUE\" /><Value Type=\"Lookup\">'+client+'</Value></Eq>'+
    '<Eq><FieldRef Name=\"_x0040_Company\" LookupId=\"TRUE\" /><Value Type=\"Lookup\">'+organisation+'</Value></Eq>'+
    '</And>'+
    '</And>'+
    '</Where>'+
    '</Query>'+
    '<ViewFields>'+
    '<FieldRef Name=\"ID\" />'+
    '</ViewFields>'+
    '</View>'+
    '<RowLimit>100</RowLimit>');
    camlQuery.ViewAttributes = "Scope='RecursiveAll'";
    listItems = oList.getItems(camlQuery);
    clientContext.load(listItems);
    clientContext.executeQueryAsync(Function.createDelegate(this, onQuerySucceeded), Function.createDelegate(this, onQueryFailed));
    Please advice how i can resolve this issue. Thanks a lot!!

    Thanks you, friends!
    That to resolve my issue, i made next things:
    1) turn off a limit items for my list
    2) used SPQuery.ListItemCollectionPosition
    property,
    3) and corrected little mistake in my CAML Query.
    May be a punkt #2 will be enough, don't you :)
