Weblogic 9.2 and axis-wsdl2java issue

Hi
I have been using axis-wsdl2java task to generate stub classes to access a websevice from another server.I could get the response successfully with WL 8.1.
But I am using the same generated classes (infact I generated it using new weblogic.jar of WL9.2)
The classes got generated .
But when I used it in my application I was not getting the required response from the external webservice.
Is the generated classes from axis-wsdl2java will not work with WL9.2 ?
Please let me know your thoughts

I tried a workaround to solve this issue by putting the xalan.jar from ant lib folder in class path.
Now I am able to use the same generated classes to invoke webservice

Issue in free SSL cert installation on Weblogic using keytool and Keystore

Steps:
1) To generate keystore and private key and digital cerficate:-
keytool -genkey -alias mykey2 -keyalg RSA -keystore webconkeystore.jks -storepass webconkeystorepassword
2) To generate CSR
keytool -certreq -alias mykey2 -file webconcsr1.csr -keyalg RSA -storetype jks -keystore webconkeystore.jks -storepass webconkeystorepassword
3) CSR is uploaded on verisign site to generate free ssl certificate.All certificate text received is paste into file (cacert.pem)
4) Same certificate is put into same keystore using following command
keytool -import -alias mykey2 -keystore webconkeystore.jks -trustcacerts -file cacert.pem
5) Before step 4), we have also installed root /intermediate certificate to include chain using following command.
(intermediateCa.cer file is downloaded from verisign site)
keytool -import -alias intermediateca -keystore webconkeystore.jks -trustcacerts -file intermediateCa.cer
6) After this configuration we used weblogic admin module to configure Keystore and SSL.
7) For KeyStore tab in weblogic admin module, we have select option “Custom Identity And Custom Trust” provided following details under Identity and Trust columns:-
Private key alias: mykey2
PassKeyphrase: webconkeystorepassword
Location of keystore: location of webconkeystore.jks file on server
8) For SSL tab in weblogic admin module, we have select option “KeyStores” for “Identity and Trust locations”.
9) After this we have restarted the server, but it is giving following error on console as shown below:

JDK 1.5 and Axis 1.2.1 Issue

I am facing the following problem with JRE 1.5.0_5 runtime and Axis 1.2.1 when running an application compiled with JDK 1.4.2_04
When the very first class from Axis is accessed within the application, an exception is thrown as below:
class "org.apache.axis.utils.Messages"'s signer information does not match signer information of other classes in the same package
However when using JRE 1.4.2_04 runtime this problem doesnt occur. Using "jarsigner" the jars were verified successfully.
Please help.

One should not fiddle with sun.* classes and there should be no need for this either. What do you exactly need?

Weblogic.rmic and ant integration issue

I am trying to call weblogic.rmic compiler through a ant script and was
sucessful in doing so and generating the stubs and skelton for my RMI
implementation.
But i also want to pass a system property value (in the example i am passing
file=stdout using -D to java) to weblogic.rmi compiler and don't know how to
do that.
Any help will be greatly appreciated...

As far as I know, rmic doesn't know anything about a "file" system property. Is
there some reason you expect this to do something special?

OIM 11gR2 Request Validator Plugin and Axis based Web Service Client

Hi,
I am trying call a web service client generated using axis2 from a request validator plugin in OIM 11gR2 and I have all the axis related jar files under the plugin lib folder but it fails due to the axis reference issues.
I tried putting the jar files under different locations like thirdparty folder, server lib etc. But it is giving issues every where. Please let me know if you have some solution.

Haven't worked on this, but have you tried by putting the axis libraries inside the plugin lib folder when you are building up the plugin? Also you need to check asix2 compatibility with weblogic version with R2.

How to use JMS with tomcat and Axis

I'm new in ii, so i'm still a little bit lost. I have been implementing web services with tomcat and Axis. However, these services are synchronous and I would like that some services were asynchronous.
I've been reading about the topic and I've found that JMS is a good solution for it. I have already downloaded JMS in my computer but now I don't know what else to do. I've been trying to run the SimpleQueueSender.java example but I get the error:
JNDI API lookup failed: javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Need to specify class name in environment or system property, or as an applet parameter, or in an application resource file: java.naming.factory.initial
But I have attached all .jar from F:\Sun\MessageQueue\lib
In addition to this, for my first webservices I used the Java2WSDL, WSDL2Java and AdminClient (axis tool) to create my web services bindings, stubs and skeletons and to deploy the web service on the server. Do I have to use them now with JMS? or now the deployment must be performed in a different way?

The error means that you have to specify the type and location of your jndi store. You could create a jndi.properties file and put two properties in it:
java.naming.provider.url=file\\\:////var/jndi
java.naming.factory.initial=com.sun.jndi.fscontext.RefFSContextFactory
for a file based jndi store. Then you have to make sure your jndi.properties file is in your CLASSPATH. Then you have to use something like imqadmin to create your jndi store and store in it your administrative objects like Queues and QueueConnectionFactories.

Weblogic 8.1 and Novell LDAP SSL

I'm having problems enabling SSL between Weblogic 8.1 and Novell LDAP. I have
the non-SSL working. All the BEA documentation I've found indicates that the SSL
Enabled checkbox needs to be checked and that's all. This can't be all because
I get the following errors.
Does anyone know how to solve this ?

You need to configure the server SSL to trust the identity certificate it receives
from nastea02.bankofny.com If you want to use the default configuration you could
simply import the CA certificate that issued that identity certificate to the
DemoTrust.jks keystore.
Also, look at Using Host Name Verification here: http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs81/secmanage/ssl.html#1187786
because this might be another reason why the certificate is rejected.

WebLogic 11g R2 and OSGI

Hi there,
We are running Oracle WebCenter Sites 11g on top of WebLogic 11g R2 and we would like to have different versions of the same library running together, one for OWCS itself and other to some Java code we are developing (which will be part of the new website).
Is that possible?
The real question is: How can we have a current version of a library (for isntance, Spring MVC) running side by side with a (much) older version of that library which is required by OWCS? Some people said we could wrap the application (running on top of a current version of Spring) into an EJB, but that sounds like a lot of overhead.

I do not think domain will be an issue. Did you install Oracle 11gR2 at home 32 bit or 64 bit version. Your server also may not be same. So there are so many factor which are different, causing it not to work at work, but work in a small setup at home.

AXIS: WSDL2Java generated javabean is different

I have a javabean in the following format:

this.name = name ;
This bean is used by my axis service. It can be created by the server and sent as a return type to my service call and used fine by the client.
I then decided to write a service that took this bean type as an input parameter. Ran Java2WSDL to generate the WSDL, then ran WSDL2Java to get the required client side code. I wrote the client and the compile failed when I attempted to use the argument based constructor. Looking at the generated code I noticed that the generated class for the bean didn't have such a constructor and only had the default constructor.
I know that the bean must have a default constructor to satisfy the requirements for a javabean, but I don't know why the other constructor is missing from the generated code.
Is this a bug or because an argument based constructor isn't allowed in a javabean?

I am also facing the same problem. The Javabean constructed after I ran my <axis-wsdl2java> is different. In my javabean I have a multi-argument constructor apart from the default constructor, and every time I generated the java bindings, the order in the multi-argument constructor changes.
How to fix this problem of constantly changing the constructor. I need to use this multi-argument constructor in my other Java classes.
Anybody please let us know how to ensure that the constructors generated by the <axis-wsdl2java> task will be constant all the time with one-to-one matching of the javabean I provide.

          WL6.1 javax.servlet.filter interface provides the methods doFilter(), setFilterConfig(),
          getFilterConfig(). We have an implementation for the Filter which also contains
          a private method init(FilterCongig filterConfig).
          In 7.0 javax.servlet.filter interface the methods are doFilter(), init(), destroy().
          Because of the obvious reason i have a private implementation of init(FilterConfig
          )in my code the build does not succeed. When i checked the java specifications
          from Sun site I found 1.3.1 and 1.4(beta) specs provide doFilter(), init() and
          destroy().
          Question is: Is weblogic 6.1, JDK 1.3.1 compliant, if so why there is not init()
          method in the filter interface??. (Otherwise its a bug)
          Because of this the porting has become a serious issue as in some cases we need
          to support both 6.1 and 7.0


6.1 did not implement the final version of the Servlet 2.3 specification, that's

Gmail/Exchange email and calendar syncing issues

I have wiped my email accounts several times and entered in my data in the various ways as shown through the forums but my email accounts do no sync properly whether it is manual or active synced.
I read my emails in my gmail and my Microsoft exchange account and will delete or file them away but then when I check my accounts on my desktop, they are not synced as I've done so on my phone. I've also noticed that my calendars are not synced correctly either.
Could someone help me understand why and how these issues can be fixed? I'm in meetings for most of the day so I rely on my phone to keep me mobile. Was this a bad purchase?!?!

How do you have your Microsoft Exchange account configured on your BlackBerry Z10? Are you using ActiveSync, BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), IMAP or POP?

My experience with Apple TV and HDMI/HDCP issues

I am convinced that it is the software update to 4.2.2 from 4.2.1 that is causing this issue. All forms of applications only worked once for me and then it reverted back to HDCP issues. I read several postings everywhere including plenty at Apple's forum and AVS where people were very frustrated with this HDCP issues. Anyways, here is what I did before taking it back to Apple store....I bought AUVIO high speed cables from Radio Shack which is rated very high and tried that and I still got HDCP issues when using NetFlix or AirPlay from iPad. Youtube from Apple TV always worked well without HDCP complaints.
I packed everything back and took it to Apple Store (you can return without re-stocking fee up to 14 days from the day of purchase). After 14 days, you cannot even return it and you can ONLY fix it. I waited for a Technician. They heard my complaints but didn't refute any of it (possibly because they have had numerous complaints on this product). It took 5 minutes inside for them to test and see similar issues with the box that I had. So, they have swapped it for a new box. Before I left the store, I checked the settings including software version and Audio/Video settings in the Apple TV that is connected at the store. I found three main differences none of which the Apple customer service staff agreed could be the reason for my problems (surprise!!)
1. The software update from the shelf and the one they were using was NOT updated to 4.2.2 (it was still running 4.2.1)
2. Because of the software update, the Audio/Video setting for HDMI had the options to toggle between Auto, RGBy, RGBhi & RGBlo bandwidth. I believe this was in place to make the HDMI interface output as component with higher or lower bandwidth but the newer update will ONLY give you the Auto option (!!!)
3. They had this directly Ethernet wired and not through Wireless network and were recieving the all the full bar strength signals. On the box that I returned, eventhough I have 18 Mbps speed at the house (any given time of the day), the Network speed test was taking a long time. Moreover, after the Apple TV network test, it doesn't spit out the outcome of the tests (a BIG bummer and useless for testing).
Anyways, I took the new box and hooked it up directly to my SONY BRAVIA XBR3 TV to one of the HDMI ports, disabled the feature to send or recieve data to Apple directly and did NOT update the software. It worked fine and have tested all of the options. From what I have read so far (I have only spent 30 hours of my weekend on this when Apple product hookups are supposed to take 5 minutes ONLY), there is NO guarantee that it will work continuously as people have had things work on them for 6 months and then suddenly have the HDCP issues.
Will wait to see....if it continues to work....

I figured it out. Had to go to general settings on the main screen and restart. Synch of audio is much better.

(Clearly i'm not alone in this problem, although i think i figured out what's going wrong a little more than he did...read on!)
his solution, to put mainstage in jump mode, is very unsatisfactory to me, as it bounces all of a sudden to drastically different settings.
basically, my analysis is that my controller is NOT receiving MIDI date from mainstage. in other words, mainstage knows what my controller is doing, but my controller doens't know what mainstage is doing.
let's say i turn the knob all the way to the right ... 127...and the virtual fader goes to the right like it's supposed to.
now...next...let's say i change to a different patch, where that same VIRTUAL fader is not at the max clockwise position..maybe it's only at 1pm. now when i turn the physical knob to the RIGHT, the midi data is still at 127 on the controller! it didn't "reset" to sync up with the new level (say 80 or so) setting on the new patch. so i can't increase that new setting of 80 by continuing to turn the knob to the right. i have to turn it all the way to zero,...and then continue PAST zero until the controller thinks that IT is at 0...at that point the controller and mainstage are in agreement, and things work fine....so bascially, the keyboard thinks the level is at max...but mainstage thinks the level is at 1pm.
i am using Logic 9, and i have a macbook pro 2.9 Ghz I7 with 8 gigs of memory and OS X 10.8.4

interesting and an imporatant issue at sales order schedule line.
i created a sales order with 10 qty.and the system proposed a two schedule lines.
let's say to order created date is 27.11.2008.and the requested delivery date is 27.11.2008.
but the stock is not available today then the system proposed two more schedule lines apart from the 27.11.2008.so now there are three schedule lines like below.
schedule line date                      Material availabilyt date   delivery date
27.10.2008 with zero quantity.
28.10.2008 with 5 qty.                28.10.2008                     29.10.2008
02.10.2008 with 5 qty.                02.10.2008                     03.10.2008
now the delivery and pgi already for the schedule line 28.10.2008.
then when i run the availability check on 01.11.2008 system is over writing the material vailability date as today at the scheduleline number two.
now i can able to view only two schedule lines only.

28.10.2008 with 5 qty.                01.11.2008                     29.10.2008

now my concern when we reschedule the avalability check it should notchange the Material availability date of the schedule line which i already delivered.
