Weblogic.security.service.NotAuthorizedRuntimeException

We see the following exception occur at random. We are trying to access a CMP ejb
that connects to an Oracle db. It works fine at times.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

  • Weblogic.security.service.NotYetInitializedException using JMX

    Hi there,
    I'm trying to use JMX to add a notification listener to listen for attribute changes to a WLS 8.1 MBean. My code when setting up the listener is as so:
    String url = "t3://localhost:7001";
    String serverName = "Server1";
    String userName = "weblogic";
    String password = "weblogic";
    MBeanHome home = null;
    RemoteMBeanServer rmbs = null;
    Environment env = new Environment();
    env.setProviderUrl(url);
    env.setSecurityPrincipal(userName);
    env.setSecurityCredentials(password);
    try {
         Context ctx = env.getInitialContext();
         home = (MBeanHome) ctx.lookup(MBeanHome.ADMIN_JNDI_NAME);
    } catch (NamingException e) {
         e.printStackTrace();
    rmbs = home.getMBeanServer();
    WLListener listener = new WLListener();
    WebLogicObjectName mbeanName = new WebLogicObjectName("examplesServer", "Server", "examples");
    rmbs.addNotificationListener(mbeanName, listener, null, null);This seems to work fine, I do not get any error messages. As you can see I'm using the server started through the examples, and I'm adding a notification listener to the ServerMBean.
    My notification listener code is as so:

         AttributeChangeNotification changedAttrib = (AttributeChangeNotification) notification;

              ex.printStackTrace();
    public boolean isNotificationEnabled(Notification arg0) {
         return true;
    }Only when a notification happens and I call getOldValue() I get:

    Hi,
    It looks like your security services initilization has some problem.Please try to do below step.
    Please login to the Database and then run the below SQL file to execute different queries mentioned in this file:
    Suppose Database User Login is “weblogic” then login to Database with this credential and run the script under $BEA_HOME\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\rdbms_security_store_oracle.sql
    Then restart your Server.

    Please help.
    thanks in advance

    I've tried every trick in the book but no luck and finally I found a solution for this problem. Maybe it is not the best practice but it works:
    1-Uninstall JDeveloper.
    2-Delete Oracle Middleware file located in C:\Oracle
    3-Delete the JDeveloper file located in C:\Users\MyUser\AppData\Roaming (Because the integrated Weblogic server is actually there)
    4-Reinstall JDeveloper
    That solved the issue.
    Thanks

    2. My SOA server is coming up but in admin mode and giving OPSS connections errors.
    Any help is really appreciated!
    Thanks,
    SK

    Hi Faisal -
    is your domain in development mode or production mode?
         - While configuring my domian , I had selected Prod Mode, but pon start up when I see in admin server console, it is starting in developement mode already ?
    Any idea how, why ?
    if its production mode you can switch to development mode, change all the credentials in the config.xml and configurations under sub folders to cleartext and start the server..
    - Let me still try these and get back to you.
    Thanks,
    SK

  • User credentials check in the webLogic web service server

    Hi,
    I am having a simple web service deployed in WebLogic server. I need to customize the SOAP header of this webservice to include username, password, session token and session type parameter in the server side code and do further processsing like calling 3rd party web service(Siebel) which will do the credential validation against that server DB. Below are couple of questions that I am having.
    1. How to customize the SOAP header on the server side so that SOAP Header includes the following and eventually appears in the generated wsdl?
    a. UserName
    b. Password
    c. Session token
    d. Session type
    2. How to extract the above details from SOAP Header sent from the client side in the WL server program?
    I am using WebLogic 10.3 & JAX-WS stack. Can someone help?
    I referred the link http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs100/webserv/jws.html#wp216814. Still I am getting Null Pointer exception

    Thanks Bethune. Need further help in extracting the actual username and password from the localname UsernameToken. I am exhausted with all the possible APIs exposed in Header and headerList
    Here is what I have tried.
    HeaderList headers = (HeaderList) context.getMessageContext().get(JAXWSProperties.INBOUND_HEADER_LIST_PROPERTY);
    Header header = headers.get("http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd","UsernameToken",true);
    Iterator<Header> header2 = (Iterator<Header>)headers.getHeaders("http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd","UsernameToken",true);
    Header header3 = null;
    if(header2.hasNext())
    header3 = header2.next();
    QName q = new QName("UsernameToken","Username");
    String s = header3.getAttribute("Username","");
    String s2 = header3.getAttribute(q);
    String str = header.getAttribute(q);
    String str2 = header.getLocalPart();
    String str3 = header.getStringContent();
    In all the above cases, the strings were null and the username “admin” never got returned.
    SOAP Header sent from client:

    Never mind, the correct command is:
    wls:/nm/IDMDomain> pr=makePropertiesObject("username=weblogic;password=weblogic0");
    wls:/nm/IDMDomain> nmStart('AdminServer',props=pr);
    It would be interesting however to have a list of all names of environmental variables that we can possibly set.
    Cheers.

  • Weblogic.security.Encrypt  -and-  Not enough space

    This post has two questions.
    I have a simple application on wls9.2 that is a web front end to the weblogic.security.Encrypt command line utility. It seems to work fine, but after a little bit of use I am seeing the following:

    1) Here is the forking code:
    try {
    proc = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("java -Dweblogic.RootDirectory="+rootDir+" weblogic.security.Encrypt "+password);
    BufferedReader bf=new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(proc.getInputStream()));
    line=bf.readLine();
    bf.close();
    } catch (IOException e) {
    Is there a better way to do this, without forking? Seems odd to execute a java call, in java, just to get the encrypted string. I'd like to call weblogic.security.Encrypt inline, but have been unable to do so.
    2) Why would the Not enough space error creep up? Researching it, it seems like it is a swap problem, but that does not seem to be the case on our system. A top shows:
    Memory: 8192M phys mem, 2769M free mem, 5004M swap, 5004M free swap
    at the time of failure. Disk usage is looking great as well. The JVM heapsize is around 80% free. An lsof on the system shows about 150 open files on the managed server.
    Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    I use CCleaner from the AppStore to delete the 'useless' stuff. It's free and works great for me

    I can get 'localhost: 7001/em' usually
    Can anyone give me an idea?

    can someone help me?

  • Sending WSSE security headers to non-weblogic web service

    I have been trying to send wsse headers to a non-weblogic web service. I am looking for a way to do this using the control file I generated from the wsdl or the page flow where I implement the control, or the message handler file. I have username and password parameters but I cannot get this to function.
    Here is the signature I need:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    - <env:Header>
    - <wsse:Security env:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd">
    - <wsse:UsernameToken wsu:Id="Id-dFQDZm_34ewPYtaARIJ_4BfI" xmlns:wsu="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-utility-1.0.xsd">
    <wsse:Username>weblogic</wsse:Username>
    <wsse:Password Type="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-username-token-profile-1.0#PasswordText">weblogic</wsse:Password>
    </wsse:UsernameToken>
    </wsse:Security>
    </env:Header>
    - <env:Body>
    <n1:hello xmlns:n1="http://workshop.bea.com/WebServiceB" />
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    Of course the Body is different, but this is the security signature that I need to get into the header. After looking at all the examples, I only see the option of using a java proxy class to call the web service, which would be a little difficult to use as my whole page flow application so far is calling the web service from a generated control. There are also lots of coplex datatypes that are being sent to the web service so a jave proxy would be a little difficult. I have tried to take the code from the java proxy class example and put it in my handler class, but the handler seems to only use MessageContext, not WebServiceContext and will not let me add the username password tokens. When I have tried to case a WebServiceContext out of a MessageContext, it gives me a runtime error "Class Cast Exception" even though workshop lets me do it.
    This is extremely urgent. Please help me! I am using the sample handler class called MessageHandler.java and the sample WSSE java proxy class called WebServiceBClient.java that generated the above signature.

    More information:
    Here is the first part of my Java Control where I am calling the web service and the message handler:
    package controls;
    * @jc:location http-url="http://localhost:7001/Checking.jws"
    * @jc:wsdl file="#CheckingWsdl"
    * @jc:handler callback="MessageHandler" operation="MessageHandler"
    public interface CheckingService extends com.bea.control.ControlExtension, com.bea.control.ServiceControl
    public static class CustomerInfo
    implements java.io.Serializable
    public java.lang.String FirstName;
    public java.lang.String LastName;
    public java.lang.String MiddleName;
    public int SSN;
    public int CustomerNumber;
    public java.util.Calendar CreationDate;
    public java.util.Calendar LastModifiedDate;
    public static class FundingInfo
    implements java.io.Serializable
    public float Amount;
    public java.util.Calendar CurrentDate;
    public int AccountNumber;
    public static class anyType
    implements java.io.Serializable
    public com.bea.xml.XmlObject[] t;
    public static class AccountInfo
    implements java.io.Serializable
    public int AccountNumber;
    public float Balance;
    public int CustomerNumber;
    public java.util.Calendar LastModifiedDate;
    * @jc:protocol form-post="false" form-get="false"
    public AccountInfo CreateAccountChecking (CustomerInfo CustomerInfo, FundingInfo FundingInfo, anyType CommonHeader);
    static final long serialVersionUID = 1L;
    Here is the section of the MessageHandler class where I am attempting to add security token to the header:
    protected void addSecurityHeader (MessageContext mc)
    * Registers a handler for the SOAP message traffic.
    HandlerRegistry registry = mc.getHandlerRegistry();
    List list = new ArrayList();
    list.add(new HandlerInfo(WSSEClientHandler.class, null, null));
    registry.setHandlerChain(new QName("hello"), list);
    try
    WebServiceContext context = (WebServiceContext)WebServiceContext.currentContext().getLastMessageContext();
    //(WebServiceContext)mc;
    WebServiceSession session = context.getSession();
    * Set the username and password token for SOAP message sent from the client, through
    * the proxy, to the web service.
    UserInfo ui = new UserInfo("weblogic", "weblogic");
    session.setAttribute(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_USERINFO, ui);
    //mc.setProperty(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_USERINFO, ui);
    * Adds the username / password token to the SOAP header.
    SecurityElementFactory factory = SecurityElementFactory.getDefaultFactory();
    Security security = factory.createSecurity(null);
    security.addToken(ui);
    session.setAttribute(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_SECURITY, security);
    //mc.setProperty(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_SECURITY, security);
    } catch (Exception ex) {System.out.println("EXCEPTION CAUGHT DOING SECURITY STUFF " + ex.getMessage());}
    I tried to use the MessageContext to do this but it came out null. I tried to cast the MessageContext to WebServiceContext and it gave me a Class Cast Exception. I tried to add the HandlerRegistry section to this but of course the assignment mc.getHandlerRegistry is improper and is not compiling so don't let that confuse you.

  • OWSM security for a OSB service- authenticate from weblogic security realms

    Hello,
    I have a requirement to add security to a OSB service.
    The user details are configured in weblogic security realms. lets say there are ten different users.
    I need to protect my osb service using OWSM policy & the policy should be configured to authenticate the user from realms.
    I am new to OWSM & wondering if this is possible?
    Can the experts please direct me to any docs or steps?
    Thanks
    Ganesh

    Hi,
    Thanks for the links.
    I followed the blog and configured it using oracle/wss_username_token_service_policy.
    Now my requirement is to send the username,password from proxy to business and to the BPEL. (the bpel needs this username /password & and in header)
    The issue I am facing is the proxy service is not sending the soap header details to business service.
    I dont want to make the proxy as passthrough. (ie set Process WS-Security Header to NO)
    I have to authorize on proxy level and then send the same credential details to business service?
    So the question is, how can I retrieve the header after osb process it?
    Can anyone please help me here?
    Thanks
    Ganesh

  • Does Weblogic 7.0 have a Security Service MBean?

    In JRun 4, you can perform a single sign-on by passing username/password credentials
    to the authenticateSecurityContext method of their Security Service Manager (an MBean).
    Is it possible to do this in Weblogic 7.0? What would the ObjectName be, "DefaultDomain:service=
    etc..???

    Hi Peter,
    You shouldn't have to pass anything anywhere or do a single programatic action to have single sign
    on work.
    Single sign on should automatically work between webapp to webapp to .ear file... no code involved.
    This is true for WLS 6.1 and WLS 7.0

  • Security service error in OBIEE 11G LDAP configuration

    Hello
    I've recently set up some OBIEE 11G installations and they appear to work ok.
    I've more recently been using various guides on the internet to configure OBIEE 11G and Active Directory and can see the users and groups within Weblogic that belong the to the Provider that i've configured.
    However, when I attempt to start up OPMN, it always gives me the error like the following:
    <Jun 24, 2013 1:45:38 PM NZST> <Warning> <oracle.jps.idmgmt> <BEA-000000> <Requested Object Class (user)not found in cache.
    oracle.security.idm.OperationFailureException: Requested Object Class (user)not found in cache.
    <Jun 24, 2013 1:52:20 PM NZST> <Error> <oracle.bi.security.service> <OBI-SEC-00004> <Unable to initialize oracle.bi.security.service.SecurityWebService>
    I initially had the User Object Class as User in the Provider configuration and noticed it wasn't in the LDAP directory so I tried changing it to a Object Class that did exist for one of the users but it made no difference.  It still says the same error message even though I have no reference to User in the configuration.
    Can anyone suggest something I might be doing wrong or missing?

    I have followed the same configuration. However i am getting the following error when i try to login
    Caused by: oracle.bi.security.service.SecurityServiceException: SecurityService::authenticateUserWithLanguage - '<LDAP user>' was authenticated but could not located within the Identity Store.
    I guess some configuration issue, but cannot be able to spot the error. Please let me know your idea
    Thanks
