WebService DataControls programmatically construct java class en jdeveloper 11g

1. I have a data control what is a web service client to URL https:
2. JDev 11g build a model
3. I need to call this data control from java class
4. My java class simply must call a method of the web service, this method I see in the DAta Control, with the parameter and just return the String,
5. this is not a Web Application, is swing, I not have a Context
method in WS
public String ConsultaPlaca(String arg1);
How I can implement this?
Just in Java Class, not in page JSP. the java class is a library of other Java class, I need to build a file .jar

Hi Vishal,
I created the class as mentioned in the link. But when I try to test the web service, I get the following error :
weblogic.application.ModuleException: [HTTP:101216]Servlet: "oracle.apps.ddr.testFileDownload" failed to preload on startup in Web application: "Application7-Project1-context-root".
javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: Annotation @com.sun.xml.internal.ws.developer.StreamingAttachment(parseEagerly=true, dir=, memoryThreshold=40000) is not recognizable, atleast one constructor of class com.sun.xml.internal.ws.developer.StreamingAttachmentFeature should be marked with @FeatureConstructor

  • Compiling java classes from JDeveloper

    Hi guys... perhaps this thred need to be created in JDeveloper fourm, it so please let me know.
    I generated the classes from a web service which complie without errors and exedcute correctly. When trying to compile the main stub in Oracle database, I get an error "CONNOT RESOLVE SYMBOL" reviewing the java class, I see that extends the wrapper generated by Jdev. So I try to complie the extendable class, after trying to generate and compile it in the database, I get the error: "class$ is reserved for internal use" The code has the next line:
    static java.lang.Class class$(java.lang.String param1)
    Is this error launched from the oracle database? My guess is that maybe Im missing some library or something and thats why I can create the such Java Name procedures. But I will like if anyone could guide me through this exception.
    Thanks
    JP

    Do you have .jar (or the .class) files created after the compile from JDeveloper?
    If you do, you can load all of them using the command line utility loadjava:
    $ loadjava
    loadjava: Usage: loadjava [-definer] [-encoding encoding] [-force] [-genmissing] [-genmissingjar jar] [-grant grants] [-help] [-nousage] [-noverify] [-oci8] [-order] [-resolve] [-resolver resolver] [-schema schema] [-synonym] [-thin] [-tableschema schema] [-user user/password@database] [-verbose] classes..jars..resources..properties...

  • How to pass an argument to a standalone java class in JDeveloper

    To the experienced:
    In JDeveloper when you write a java class with a main() method that takes no argument, you just right click the java file and select Run to run the program. But suppose the main() method takes arguments, how do you pass your arguments to the program? This is especially a problem as I use the studio version of JDeveloper (Versions 10.1.3.4 and 11.1.1.3) that each uses the version of JDK bundled with it, rather than the JDK (which is yet another different version) installed at the OS level of the PC.
    Many thanks for your help!

    Hi, Puthanampatti,
    Suppose a java class has a main() method:
    <pre>
    public class FormatTerm {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    String year = args[0];
    String semester = args[1];
    </pre>
    What I want to know is how to pass the arguments when invoking FormatTerm within JDeveloper (i.e., without going out of JDeveloper to invoke FormatTerm on a command line in DOS). I would appreciate it very much if you know how to do that in JDeveloper 11g (I use Version 11.1.1.3) and could help me out.
    Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi,
    JDeveloper 11 related questions have their own forum
    JDeveloper and OC4J 11g Technology Preview
    The JDeveloper 11 RichTree does not use PathSet but RowKeySet to keep track of the selected state. A property on the tree component allows you to set the selected state by referencing a RoKeySet e.g. in a managed bean

  • How to run a Java class in JDeveloper - with Input parameters

    Folks,
    I need to run Forms 10g trace and do not have access to the Dos command line (no Programs-ACcessories-Comand prompt). I am allowed to run Batch files though.
    So really I need to run class "oracle.forms.diagnostics.Xlate", but need to give Input Parameter to this class. I know to load JDeveloper and open this class, but when I execute it it gives me the following error.
    My question is HOw do I input the File name to this Class when I execute it from JDeveloper.
    ERROR: You must specify an input datafile

  • How to pass a complex type as input for a Java class in Oracle 11g?

    Hi All,
    This is my Parent Class..
    package ADFapplnPackage.model;
    public class ParentClass {
    String Name;
    int age;
    public ParentClass() {
    super();
    This is my ChildClass :
    package ADFapplnPackage.model;
    public class ChildClass {
    public ChildClass() {
    super();
    public ParentClass display() {
    ParentClass obj=new ParentClass();
    obj.age=20;
    obj.Name="Sabari";
    return obj;
    I have exposed both of them as webservices.
    When I call the display object in the parent class,
    I am getting 'parent' as the response.. I mean that ,only the word 'parent' is at the response. I couldnt find any elements (i mean the age and name) in the output.
    if my function 'display' in the child class is like
    public String display() {
    return "hello";
    then it is working fine. I am getting "hello" in the response. Why is the webservice supporting only standard datatypes.. and not Class datatypes.
    Kindly help me!!
    Thanks ,

    Hi,
    You can't do that with OLEDB. None of OLEDB providers has such a feature.

  • Java Class Web Service

    Which the best way to make a webservice based on a java class in JDeveloper 10.1.2?
    I need to make a webservice that make some queries in views of BPEL's dehydration DB, but I would not like that this webservice was a BPEL process in the Process Manager, with gone off instances being to each query. Therefore I intend to make a java class that it executes the queries and it returns the results.
    However it would like a structuralized payload, instead of returning a primitive and soap-serialized type, I would like to return a complex type.
    Example of return message:
    ... SOAP Message ...
    <payload>
    <sensors>
    <sensor>
    <date>2006-sep-11</date>
    <activity>invoke partner</activity>
    </sensor>
    <sensor>
    <date>2006-sep-11</date>
    <activity>receive partner</activity>
    </sensor>
    </sensors>
    </payload>
    ... SOAP Message ...
    Well, JDeveloper 10.1.2 can't make this work easiest for me ... the wizard can't work with classes returning complex types.
    I tried many ways to do this: top-down and bottom-up approach's, but without success.
    Also tried made a wsdl and using schemac generate facades classes, write a deploy file and, and after some difficult made the deploy in my OC4J. But invoking the webservice the server returns this message:
    "javax.servlet.ServletException: WSDL Generation exception: java.lang.Exception org.collaxa.thirdparty.dom4j.Namespace is not a java bean: must have a default constructor"
    Well, sorry, but I'm a java newbie and I have no idea about what can I do in this case. But I think that the error isn't in my class. :-(
    Ok, also tried to do this, for test, in JDeveloper 10.1.3, but without success too.
    Following some examples and tutorials, I tried to use the wizard "Create J2EE webservice" using WSIF, but doesn't works for me.
    I read the blog posts:
    "Revisiting Java and WSIF"
    http://blogs.oracle.com/reynolds/2006/08/10#a112
    "Using Java from BPEL"
    http://blogs.oracle.com/reynolds/discuss/msgReader$10?mode=day
    And many others...
    But, in fact, the things doesn't works like in the tutorials...
    Someone can help-me?
    Thanks for help and sorry for my rusted english.

    As far as I can tell, the SOAPContext is not magically there in Oracle Web services so you have to revert to Oracle SOAP (which is where the OracleSOAPContext comes from and is pretty much Apache SOAP 2.3.1 with fixes and a couple things to make it work in our environment - e.g. like a slightly updated SOAPContext class).
    We ship Oracle SOAP with our distribution in the soap.ear file located in the <oc4J_home>\soap\webapps directory. Just add this line (tailored to your config) to your server.xml:
    <application name="soap" path="../../../soap/webapps/soap.ear" auto-start="true" />
    and the line:
    <web-app application="soap" name="soap" root="/soap" />
    to your http-web-site.xml and your Oracle SOAP environment should be set up with an endpoint of:
    http://127.0.0.1:8888/soap/servlet/soaprouter
    Then build your Web service and in your method add the SOAPContext parameter. Here is a simple method that should print out the remote IP, after casting to the OracleSOAPContext:
    public String sayHello( SOAPContext ctx, String test)
    OracleSOAPContext octx = (OracleSOAPContext)ctx;
    System.out.println("Remote address: " + octx.getRemoteAddress());
    return "Hello: " + test;
    For completeness, the dd file looks like:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'windows-1252'?>
    <isd:service
    id="mypackage3.Class1"
    xmlns:isd="http://xml.apache.org/xml-soap/deployment">
    <isd:provider
    type="java"
    methods="sayHello"
    scope="Request">
    <isd:java class="mypackage3.Class1" static="false"/>
    </isd:provider>
    <isd:faultListener>org.apache.soap.server.DOMFaultListener</isd:faultListener>
    </isd:service>

    Hi Bruce,
    Thanks very much for the insight u provided.Yes one of my public methods was returning
    a element factory.
    But let me ask my question this way:
    Is there a way to tell servicegen to take only the specified public methods in
    a class to make them as webservices?
    by default servicegen is taking all the public methods..,i workaround i found
    is to deploy the webservice manually by writing the web-services.xml to include
    only the required public methods.
    thanks

    Hi Suresh,
    Does your Test.java have a public method that returns the element
    factory of an XML document, like "public ElementFactory
    getElementFactory ();" or such?
    If so, you may want to check out the supported build-in and non-built-in
    data types:
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs81/webserv/assemble.html#1060696
    Concerning your last question, you can use the excludeEJBs, includeEJBs
    (in combination with the ejbJar attribute) to specify which non-built-in
    data type components should be generated. Or if you use the
    javaClassComponents then simply use a comma separated list of class
    names.
    Hope this helps,

  • How do I call a simple java class from a bpel process?

    Hi.
    In JDeveloper 10.1.4.3.0 I've created a simple java class that does an ftp get operation followed by an unzip. The class uses some 3rd part libraries (jars).
    I want to use a simple bpel process to schedule a daily execution of this java class, and deploy it all to our SOA-server, - and was looking into using the <bpelx:exec> function.
    The java class and the bpel process is all stored in the same JDeveloper project.
    How do I put this together so that both my java class and the necessary jars are available to the bpel process?
    I've looked into the JavaExecSample.bpel, and it's says something about "...the class com.otn.samples.javaexec.CreditCalculator is locally packaged with this BPEL process".
    How do I do that?
    Can I make it and test it all locally from my workstation (only JDeveloper installed, I guess there's nothing that can execute the bpel code?), or do I have to compile class etc (make war-file?) and deploy to SOA server (BPEL-INF/lib or classes?) before anything can be tested?
    (I guess all this is simple, once you know how, but being a newbie to this I need a shove in the right direction :-)
    Regards,
    -Haakon-

    To create a java class and dependent jars inside the BPEL process project you need to do the following:
    1. Right click on your BPEL process project and select New and then Java Class from the Items.
    2. Make the BPEL process project, JDeveloper would compile the java classes and add them into the BPEL suite case jar, see the output folder and check the BPEL suite case jar file for java classes and dependent jars.
    You can test your Java classes from JDeveloper IDE, no need to deploy the classes on SOA server. When you make the BPEL project it compiles .bpel files and Java classes. You can test your classes once .bpel file and java classes compiled successfully.

  • Weird behaviour on imported java classes - what am i doing wrong?

    Hello.
    I am working on a java application in Jdeveloper 11g. I thought i'd re-use a few java classes that i had from an earlier project. I went File->import->Java source and pointed out the .java files. They popped into my Jdeveloper project perfectly like i expected. I opened up one of them and spent some time making changes to it. I then opened a second one and changed it too. Upon returning to the first one, i noticed that all my changes were gone and the original version was back. I also notied that by clicking on the history tab, i could see a list of revisions - i guess one for every time i saved the file. What i fail to understand is why the latest revision says "Load External State" and is back to square one.
    Am i using this in the wrong way?

    Hi,
    I tried the same but this doesn't happen to me. Which version of JDeveloper do you use ?

  • Datacontrols Tab Not appearing in JDeveloper 11g(11.1.1.2.0)

    Hi All,
    Datacontrols tab is not appearing in JDeveloper 11g.
    I have de-installed and Installed again but I have the same issue.
    Please help if any body have the solution for this issue.
    Thanks,

    Just a simple Question, to make sure.
    Where are you looking for the datacontrol ?
    In JDev 10g it used to be on the right top of the IDE.
    In JDev 11g it is supposed to be on the left of the IDE. It might be collapsed there so you don't spot it immediately.
    But then again, you probably will have checked that.

  • Drop6: Java/Class Diagrams - associations + thumbnail isssue

    Hi JDev team
    I'm having a play with the Java/Class Diagrams in 11g Drop6 and importing existing class structures to display.
    Under an ADF BC project I've created both a Java Diagram and a Class Diagram, and added the "oracle.jbo.server.AppModuleImpl" class. I then right click on the imported class in the diagram, then Show -> Related Items, and it imports a large array of classes as expected.
    2 problems I see:
    1) Minor issue: If you layout the components using the Diagram Hierarchical Top to Bottom layout option, the thumbnail view doesn't zoom out far enough to allow you to move around the whole diagram.
    2) In the diagram, the imported elements only seem to show Generalizations (extend) and Dependencies (interfaces), yet not associations (ie. one class includes a by ref-variable handle to another class). I'm sorely missing this 3rd feature. Am I missing something to enable this? It used to do this in 10.1.3, but with the old 10.1.3 diagrammer tool. Has this feature been dropped?
    Cheers,
    CM.
