Webservice for input data in BW

With BW 3.5 you can create datasource with webservice (SOAP). How can I develop an html page with input box and a send button for send the data to my Datasource ?
Datasource is created without problem and tested with J2EE Tools.
Any idea ?

"printf" asking for input data

Hi, my cuestion is why when I ask the user to input data in the test bench with "printf" for my TOP.c not run?

Also besides Gabor's answer, please note that the testbench execution is wrapped into other scripts, so user input would not work because it's not interactive (if i remember correctly) so you can't do cin , gets , scanf etc
From the GUI, when performing csim there is the ability to enter input arguments to the executable - ie the ones passed to argv.
If you want to do user interactions, then you need to go to a command line and navigate to YOURPROJ/YUORSOLUTION/csim/build and run the executatble from there : it's call csim.exe.
As such I would recommend to avoid using user inputs in your testbenchs - but you can use loops or text files with 1000s of test values.

ECATT - How use external file/new variant for input data

Good day,
I want to use an eCATT created by someone else for another request. I want to be able to specify my new input data based on the new request WITHOUT generating a new Transport. Same thing as I'm doing for the CATT ... the CATT is transported but only the input data change depending on the request without generating any transport.
How I build my new input file and how to use it? I tried to download my variant but the only possible format is XML and it's very hard to build a new file based on my request.

Hi,
Can you tell me how you are generating the xml file. My guess is you are downloading the Test Script/ Test Configuration. In that case it creates an xml file.
As mentioned by Ajay, In Test Configurator / Test Data - you can create the internal variant first, i.e assuming you have already created parameters.. On the top, you have a download button "Download Variant". This creates a .txt file. You can open the file in excell and edit it.
For the next test, you can select external variant and give the modified file path name.

Thanks for your replay , I don`t have any problem with my format error, I have problem in updating error message given by inputDate component .
Per suppose , this month 25th is Saturday ,if i type date in InputDate component as 05/25/2013 then it is showing error as "Enter a date that is on one of the following days: sun" but i want to modify this message to
"Please enter a valid date. Date cannot be on a Saturday or Sunday" .

How to input data in a database table without knowing in advance table and column configurations

Hi,
I have a problem using LabVIEW for input data (manually) in a SQL database. I have about 40 tables in the database, each of them is related to a specific engine component. I need to create a user interface (maybe visualizing the table with a table control) where the users can insert data in the database table fields. Could someone give me some suggestion on how to do it?
Using the DB tools insert data.vi I need to know in advance the column configuration of the table, but in my database each table has its own structure! So do I have to create 40 different masks, one for every different table?

I have not actually used the LV SQL Toolkit, but I will try and offer high level ideas :-)
when you have retrieved the construction data for a table, you should be able to use array and cluster indexing to aquire the names of the fieds, enough to create a labelled table on the LV Front panel.
After completing a new entry you can INSERT the entry into the database using the same data.
Is the SQL toolkit an additional purchase, or included in newer versions as standard? If you post a sample of the cluster/array that you retrieve, I could give you a sample VI to give you some pointers in creating the User Interface table

Webservice got the error 'For input string: "NEW" '

Hallo Experts.
Since 2 weeks I've tried to understand the whole stuff about CAF... And I meet so much problems und the part of problems I've solved... But some others I cannot..
So I post some questions on the forum...
I've developed the application services and exposed it as webservice. After that in the webservice navigator I see this service in the list. But if I click on the service I get the error message: For input string "New".
I dont't know what it does mean, So I take a look in the log...I see the following:
Error starting web application [AdmManagerWS].
The error is: com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.exceptions.WebDeploymentException: Cannot get web DD object from configuration for [AdmManagerWS] web application. It is missing.001B789235DE003400000738000012401CBD85C8893708AE
I don't know what ist web DD object? Please tell me how I can solve this problem.
And exactly I don't need to expose this application service as Webservices... because in the service Browser (CAF testing service) I can't not test the methods in the application service and I got the advice from one forum thread to make the test in the web services. But it also doesnot run.. I'm out of idea and disappointed.

I have found out the error
I exposed the application service to the web service and one data type in WSDL is short but I have given the string value "NEW".
Thus I got this error if I call the web services.
But the test methods of the application service in the service browser I haven't got it yet.. I think it is somehow impossible.

Use Calendar class to get no. of days, week day etc.
For GUI, hope u will tryAll knows that there are so many classes like - Calendar, Date, etc...etc..
Can anybody help with a written code which will give output like that. Bcoz, I tried using Caledar, Date and all. Its giving a problem in month Feb and on leap years. If I get a code which will work fine then it will be fantastic.

No batch input data for screen for VF01

Iam trying to to create billing document using BDC for VF01 with sales order. For single line item it is working fine and that to in Mode 'A'. But while creating invoices using multiple sales orders , Iam getting the following error.

No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY3 0131 in Sales order IDOC

I am processing Sales order IDOCS in status 64 using RBDAPP01 .Some of them error out to status 51 with the message -
No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY3 0131 .
I know the standard IDOC inbound process tries to simulate the posting in a BDC like process.
Now, I went to we19 and the screen hangs up in a pop up in the partners tab with partner type 'WE' and my shipto (which is actually filled in the IDOC), missing..upon repeatedly hitting enter, it goes thru and an idoc is posted in status 53. But still unable to get through the root of this issue.

I think the pop-up is generated through and user-exit for which recording is missing. This is why your idoc stays in status 64...

Error in LSMW for MM41 - "No batch input data for screen SAPLMGMW 0100"

I'm trying to create an LSMW for MM41 to create new Retail articles en Mass. This will be used to only create the Basic view as other LSMW's already exist to maintain the other views. I've created the Recording and setup the LSMW already. My data is read correctly from the source file. When I execute the batch session it fails with the following error - "No batch input data for screen SAPLMGMW 0100".
I assume the fields in MM41 screen are not setup for batch processing. Could someone with more knowledge or experience in SAP Retail please confirm my assumption and explain where this is setup or provide an alternative to creating new articles en Mass via MM41? The direct input method is more suited for MM01 and not MM41.

Thanks so much for all the prompt responses. My issue is now resolved.
The issue, I'm sure, was my default settings in the MM41 screen which the recording probably took into account or the batch program didn't like. I deleted my recording and created a new one but before I started the recording, I went into the MM41 screen and removed all default values AND view selections. I made my Basic view selection constant in my recording and also in my field mapping. My LSMW for MM41 is now working perfectly.
Just to answer some of the questions above, my LSMW was Reading and Converting the data in my source file fine. When I display the Read and Converted data, it shows the data fields in the correct place.

     I am facing a problem while uploading Invoice data and to hold the data in miro transaction I am getting the error
     "no batch input data for screen SAPLMR!M 6220 " . It is for non PO data only I am facing this problem using BDC.
     But for Po based Invoice I am getting Invoice number while holding the Invoice. I am Using SHBDB to record the

            I am doing it in same transaction MIRO for both PO and NON-PO. I am able to generate an Invoice number while holding   the Invoice For NON-PO taking vendor as invoice Party .While I am recording it in SHDB and trying to use the
same in my BDC Programe it is throughing this error and also by testing the program which has been generated by the
SHDB trnasaction i am getting the same Error . Is there any diferrent trnasaction that is used to hold NON_PO invoice ?
Where Invoice number will be generated automatically ?

Dear All,
I have developed a report where i need to upload (old and new)incoterms,payment terms,document type and update in the table ekko with my new values (incoterms,payment terms and document type).
Problem :For this report i have uploaded the excel sheet and values are getting uploaded into my internal table.but when using bapi_agreement_maintain to update the ekko table ,in return table its showing No batch input data for screen SAPMSSY3 0131.
Anyone please give the reason/solution to solve the problem.

Hi,
screen SAPMSSY3 0131 is the debugging screen so if you have any break-points in any of the transactions remove the breakpoint and check.
Basically this BAPI is calling a transaction to execute a transaction in no dialog mode so if you have break-points in any of those program you will face this issue.

Data Type Is Not Vailid for Input

I'm new in (ABAP) WebDynpro and I have a problem with displaying data - particularly with HROBJECTs from our e-Recruiting system.
In my WebDynpro-Component i read some data of candidates into my context. One table (with candidate-infos) which i save in my context includes a field which is datatype of HROBJECT. After I've read this infos into my itab, I bind this table to my context. All this works fine! But as soon as I bind this context to a table-ui-element in my layout, i get a error message "Data Type Is Not Valid for Input", when i start the application.
If I delete the binding with the attribute which is a HROBJECT, it works.

Information on where terminated
    Termination occurred in the ABAP program "CL_WDR_CONVERSION_UTILS=======CP" -

    In the source code you have the termination point in line 138
    of the (Include) program "CL_WDR_CONVERSION_UTILS=======CM00G".
    The termination is caused because exception "CX_WDR_CONVERSION_EXCEPTION"
     occurred in
