WebService import

Hi,
currently i'm trying to import a WebService into CAF.
In the development component i import a external service and choose "Local file system or URL" or "UDDI or URL" for the WSDL source.
I tried to import a WebService listet from xmethods.com. But it doesn't matter which i choose. Everytime i get this error:
Cannot Load WebService WSDL from URI: C:\GoogleSearch.wsdl, reason: Invalid wsdl schema no attributes are allowed.
And if i try e.g. to import the google search WebService (WSDL file is downloaded on my local pc) i get this error:
Cannot Load WebService WSDL from URI:
http://www.terawave.ca/webservices/paddle.cfc?wsdl, reason: Connection refused: connect (Nested exception: IO Exception occurred while parsing file:Connection refused: connect)
Its not possible that all this schemas are invalid. Maybe SAP Netweaver Seveloper Studie expects a more restricted version of WSDL.
Does anyone have an idea what may cause this issue???
regards,
MS

errors in the wrong sequence, sorry

  • Adobe form as PDF string in Webservice importing parameter

    Hello Experts,
    Can you please clarify the below issue.
    I have created a webdynpro.
    I have placed an interactive form on one of it's view.
    And kept one Submit button(Execute type) on the form to trigger one webservice.
    This webservice has the importing parameter as the PDFSTRING.
    So my requirement is to pass the entire form with filled values to the webservice importing parameter. I will be storing this PDF string in some tables.
    What scripting i need to use in the form for getting this done.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ram.

    Hi Sai,
    Thanks for ur input.
    My requirement is not exactly the string with XML data, but the string with PDF data.
    I will try to explain my requirement here in detail.
    I have the adobe form triggering from the webdynpro. This form has different objects like, text fields, dropdowns, check boxes, radio buttons...etc and one SUBMIT button for which webservice is attached in the properties.
    User will fill all the fields and clicks on SUBMIT. When he clicks on the SUBMIT, the webservice should attach the filled PDF document at partner level.
    For this purpose, i need the string with PDF data and not the XML.
    WIth this PDF string again i should be able to re generate the PDF document which was filled by the user.
    If string with PDF data is not possible, Please suggest me the possible way of achieving this?
    Regards,
    Ram.

  • Failure of webservice import

    Hello,
    I'm getting the error in the title while importing SAP Webservices via Visual Studio 2005 SAP Portal project. The webservice is getting added properly but when i tried to use the webservice its showing error message like " Webservice is not defined"
    The webservice import works fine in a normal ASP.Net project, I only get this error while inside a SAP Portal project.
    Pls suggest wht to do?

    Hi hamsa,
    how are you doing ?
    it is probably a permissions problem, as the wsdl tool is working fine to generate the proxy.
    unfortunately as i am not aware of the SAP code that is involved, i could only recommend a uninstall / reinstall for system errors

  • Java Webservice Import to WDJ

    Hello All,
    When I import a J2EE Webservice to WDJ layer, the collections in WS are truncated, OR those levels are not created in the generated context when we implement the methods to component controller.
    My problem is one of the nodes in WS is a recursive node, if I can at least get the Java array collection from the model object execute method, i can read them and copy them to a local node.
    Any one know how to read the values from the webservice structure in the code other than doing a mapping to the context? Any help would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks
    Senon

    Hi,
    See my answer here:
    How to read complex Web Service structure from WD
    Basically each object from the web service is created as a class/interface in the WD side so you can just use the classes/interfaces that are created.

  • WebService Import overwrites existing WebService

    Hi experts,
    I created two web services in a SAP ECC system (SE37, create Web Service from Function module, Low Security, deploy Web Service checked) . In SOAMANAGER I configured the endpoints . Using the "Open WSDL for selected binding" - WSDL, I published both services into my service registry.
    Now the services are imported  into  process development (Service Interfaces ->WSDL IMPORT->from Service Registry)
    The first service is imported fine, works also fine.
    Now I try importing the second. This service overwrites the rootwsdl_service.wsdl file in process development and now only the second service is operational.
    I try to reimport the first service, but this again overwrites the file and only the first servive is operational again.
    Tried to import into different service groups, same problem.
    Any Idea how to solve this ?
    Do I need to import the not configured WSDL from SOAMANAGER and assign provider system in CE ? Tries this also but then the connection to the SAP ECC was not operational.
    Any information / hint  is appreciated.

    Hi Stefan,
    the sercices in the backend seem to cause the problem. They have different names in SAP ECC, but where can I see namespaces ? I have created another service with SOAP namespace "urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions", this is imported into a wsdl in BPM with the unique name of the service in SAP and seems to be working.
    The other service that overwrites the wsdl files in PBP have namespace "urn:sap-com:document:sap:soap:functions:mc-style".
    Where do I change the namespace in SAP Backend ?
    Thanks.

  • Webservice Import Problem

    Hi,
    I have used the NWDS Wizard to generate a webservice proxy. The Service is "SAP Server" and the runtime is "SAP NetWeaver". I have a service project with the EJBs and a surrounding EAR project to deploy the webservice.
    I have generated a webservice-interface. One
    @WebMethod(operationName="getById")
    and one
    @WebMethod(operationName="getDummy")
    getDummy only returns new String();
    this works fine. But getById calls a ABAP Webservice via the generated proxy. I inject the reference:
    @WebServiceRef(name="ZALINKRFC_Service")
    ZALINKRFC_Service service;
    get the port
    ZALINKRFCWD port = service.getPort(ZALINKRFCWD.class);
    and call port.rfcfunction(...)
    I then get the error
    com.sun.xml.bind.v2.runtime.IllegalAnnotationsException: 20 counts of IllegalAnnotationExceptions
    com.sap.document.sap.rfc.functions.ALINKRFCTABLEGET is an interface, and JAXB can't handle interfaces. this problem is
    related to the following location: at com.sap.document.sap.rfc.functions.ALINKRFCTABLEGET
    com.sap.document.sap.rfc.functions.ALINKRFCTABLEGET does not have a no-arg default constructor. this problem is
    related to the following location: at com.sap.document.sap.rfc.functions.ALINKRFCTABLEGET
    com.sap.document.sap.rfc.functions.TABLEOFTBL1024 is an interface, and JAXB can't handle interfaces
    I have absolutely no idea what the problem is. All the mentioned classes were automatically generated by NWDS.
    any ideas?
    thanks in advance

    Please try with IP

    Any body please help me on this. I am really struggling on this

  • Consuming a Webservice is extremly slow

    Hi
    I would like to use a Webservice to communicate with a
    server. For test purposes I wrote a small java webservice which
    adds to numbers using the following 2 classes.
    == Class Calculator ==
    package de.theserverside.webservice.service;
    import javax.jws.WebService;
    import javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding;
    import javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding.Style;
    @WebService
    @SOAPBinding(style=Style.RPC)
    public class Calculator
    public long addValues(int val1, int val2) {
    return val1 + val2;
    == Class CalculatorServer ==
    package de.theserverside.webservice.service;
    import javax.xml.ws.Endpoint;
    import de.theserverside.webservice.service.Calculator;
    public class CalculatorServer {
    public static void main (String args[]) {
    Calculator server = new Calculator();
    Endpoint endpoint =Endpoint.publish("
    http://<IP Adresse>/calculator?wsdl",
    server);
    In Coldfusion I tested both methods to consume this
    Webservice:
    <cfinvoke webservice="
    http://<IP Adresse>/calculator?wsdl"
    method="addValues" returnvariable="aString">
    <cfinvokeargument name="arg0" value="1"/>
    <cfinvokeargument name="arg1" value="6"/>
    </cfinvoke>
    <cfoutput>#aString#</cfoutput>
    == mit cfskript ==
    <cfscript>
    ws = createObject("webservice","
    http://<IP
    Adresse>/calculator?wsdl");
    xlatstring = ws.addValues(2,9);
    </cfscript>
    <cfoutput>#xlatstring#</cfoutput>
    The Webservice works with both methods but it takes between 5
    and 6 Minutes to get a result.
    I also wrote a java client to test the webservice which
    returned the result within 1 second.
    Whats the problem here with CF?
    I am using CF 8

    I found a third way to call a webservice using chttp. But now
    I have the problem that I cant pass paramaters to my method.
    I wrote a simple hello world method without any paramater and
    it worked within 1 sec.
    When I try to use the addValues method I get this Error:

  • What are the steps to create a webservice from java

    i followed the doc. of weblogic 10.3 but something is missing..i am using ubuntu
    1)
    i created a webservice ping.java which placed in myproject/HelloWorld directory
    package HelloWorld;
    import javax.jws.WebMethod;
    import javax.jws.WebService;
    import javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding;
    import javax.xml.ws.BindingType;
    @WebService(name="SimplePortType", serviceName="SimpleService",
    targetNamespace="http://example.org")
    @SOAPBinding
    @BindingType
    public class ping {
    @WebMethod
    public String main(String p){
    System.out.println("sayHello:" + p);
    return "Here is the message: '" + p + "'";
    2) and created a build.xml and placed it in myproject folder
    <project default="all">
    <target name="all"
    depends="clean,build-service,deploy" />
    <target name="clean">
    <delete dir="output" />
    </target>
    <path id="*my.path*">

    adminurl="t3://${wls.hostname}:${wls.port}"
    targets="${wls.server.name}"/>
    </target>
    </project>
    3) after that how to start weblogic and how to set any needed env or domain properties.How to publish it to server?
    4) how to configure security
    can i use netbeans to do all the above things?
    Thanks

    now i want to send a request coded in Javascript to get the "helloWorld" returned.
    how can i find out the complete path to the sayHello method?
    It should be sth. like that :
    http://<host>:port/<contextPath>/<resources>/....

    at least when i try to put the second one in my webbrowser iam getting the following error :

  • Generic connector with webservice and SPML provider

    Hi,
    I have created a Generic connector in Oracle Identity server successfully with Webservice transport porvider and SPML payload provider. But when I am trying to create a user using this connector I am getting following error in OIM server log:
    AJPRequestHandler-RMICallHandler-20 XELLERATE.WEBAPP - Setting the response code as GCPROV.ProvTransportProvider.WebServices.Caught exception while handling request: malformed array t
    Can anyone please help me regarding this? I am even not able to identify where it is getting failed.
    Thanks in advance

    This is what I've found in the docs:
    "Each SPML request is sent in a SOAP message. The SOAP header carries authentication information for the request. The actual SPML request data is the SOAP message body. "
    All I'm trying to do is create a SOAP web service (in this case with Java 6, but that's not fundamental) that can intercept that message and grab the SPML request (and then do what I have to do).
    I tried with something like the following code:
    package wsspml;
    import javax.jws.WebService;
    import java.io.IOException;
    import java.util.logging.*;
    @WebService
    public class SPMLServer {
         public String processRequest(String requestData) {
    but it won't work. It's like the exposed SOAP method "processRequest" is invisible. It's not being called. Perhaps the signature is wrong. I don't know what to make of it. I'm trying to understand how to grab that SPML request that's coming from OIM through the custom generic technology connector that I configured.

  • Getting deserialization error when calling a secured webservice

    Hi All,
    I am getting deserialization error: java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement when I am calling my secured web service through a proxy client.
    I have secured my webservice using a keystore, I had created using keytool . In key store I have created keys using RSA algorithm.
    when I am doing all this for a webservice in which input is a string variable, then it is working.
    But if I am passing a document then it is giving me ERROR OWS-04045 Malformed Request Message: deserialization error: java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement .
    Below is the code of java class, I have exposed as webservice :
    import java.io.StringWriter;
    import javax.xml.transform.Transformer;
    import javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException;
    import javax.xml.transform.TransformerException;
    import javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory;
    import javax.xml.transform.dom.DOMSource;
    import javax.xml.transform.stream.StreamResult;
    import org.w3c.dom.Document;
    public class READXML {
    public String getXML(Document xmlDocument) {
    TransformerFactory tFactory = TransformerFactory.newInstance();
    Transformer transformer = null;
    try {
    transformer = tFactory.newTransformer();
    } catch (TransformerConfigurationException e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    StringWriter writer = new StringWriter();
    try {
    transformer.transform(new DOMSource(xmlDocument),
    new StreamResult(writer));
    } catch (TransformerException e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    return writer.toString();
    Appreciate if any body can help me to resolve the issue.
    thanks in advance

    Mike,
    I have tried by validating xml, again it is giving same error.
    when I am not securing my webservice then it is working fine.
    The problem is coming only when i am securing my webservice.
