Webservice via Bluetooth

Hi @ all,
I want to create a mobile application which communicates with a Webservice => JSR 172
Thus I define my Webservice in a wsdl-file and compile it. In this file I usually define the host , the webservice is running on. as "http://myhost/..."
Now I don't want to use http but obex or something else via bluetooth.
The Connections-Management must be encapsulated somewhere behind the stub-class.
Dose anyone has an idea how I can change the protocol from http to sth. via Bluetooth. Perhaps an class which catches all outgoing http-Requests and and converts them into obex or define the host in the wsdl like this "btl2cap://0050CD00321B:1003;ReceiveMTU=512;TransmitMTU=512"
I wanted to hear your opinion before I try do implement sth.

I am trying to do the same for my dissertation... I should invocate a simple echo web service via a bluetooth device, but I didn't find anything so far.
Can you let me know if you find out something or if you manage to do it?

    You can't do anything with that problem.
    Take your iPhone to the closest Apple Store and they will give you new one for 200€/$ or if you bought your iPhone in less than 12 months you will get it for free.

    It may be the best source of assistance is the manufacturer of the device. I suspect you will need a specific app for the iPhone to get it to work, but the site is rather ambiguous about that.

    You haven't said which generation iPad you have, but this article might help you regardless:

    I imagine Keynote Remote uses Audio/Video Remote Control Profile which should be available on both your iPhone and iPad.
    I think you're saying that since you got the new iPhone 5, these two things occur:
    1.  Your iPhone cannot discover your iPad
    2.  Your iPad cannot discover your iPhone.
    If that's true, when you turn on Bluetooth on each of the devices, you might see old devices listed that are no longer used.  If you do, I suggest clicking the white arrow to the right of such devices and clicking "Forget this device".

    I would always have a wired keyboard and mouse on hand (need not be expensive ... any cheap wired devices will work).  "Emergency recovery" procedures can activate features in random order, so the opportunity to select a recovery partition may pass before the wireless devices are recognized.
    That will let you select the "turn on Bluetooth" icon.

    I have the 8330 BB Curve (my 3rd blackberry) and I am trying to print directly from my bb to a printer via Bluetooth. Now I was in a store and made it work with a multifunction HP printer. I then took home a Canon IP100 portable and got a bluetooth adaptor. Canon, however does not support direct printing, only HP. So I returned it and got a portable HP H470, but the wi-fi version (couldn't get the bluetooth one easily) and tried putting the bluetooth adaptor in it, but cannot get it to print. Any suggestions?

    it is a HP H470 issue. Contact HP support and ask them if there is a way of using that device with a bluetooth adapter.

    Unless you have an iOS app that uses BT for a specific purpose, such as file transfer, BT on the iPad alone, as stated, does not support it.

    I have a MacBook pro late 2011 with Yosemite 10.10.1 and bluetooth ver. 2.1 EDR.     And what is it you want to accomplish?   iPhones cannot pair with Computers  (Mac or Pc). 
    If you want to use features such as Continuity, or Handoff, pairing is not necessary.  However you would need a newer MacBook for those features. 
    iPhones can pair with speakers, keyboards, headsets, hands free devices, in car media centers etc...
    But there's no profile for connecting to a computer directly.
