  • Best practice for the Update of SAP GRC CC Rule Set

    Hi GRC experts,
    We have in a CC production system a SoD matrix that we would like to modified extensively. Basically by activating many permissions.
    Which is a best practice for accomplish our goal?
    Many thanks in advance. Best regards,
      Imanol

    Hi Simon and Amir
    My name is Connie and I work at Accenture GRC practice (and a colleague of Imanolu2019s). I have been reading this thread and I would like to ask you a question that is related to this topic. We have a case where a Global Rule Set u201CLogic Systemu201D and we may also require to create a Specific Rule Set. Is there a document (from SAP or from best practices) that indicate the potential impact (regarding risk analysis, system performance, process execution time, etc) caused by implementing both type of rule sets in a production environment? Are there any special considerations to be aware? Have you ever implemented this type of scenario?
    I would really appreciate your help and if you could point me to specific documentation could be of great assistance. Thanks in advance and best regards,

  • Help with Role Attribute config in ERM in SAP GRC AC 5.3

    Hello,
    I have a doubt.
    We are configuring the Role Attributes of the ERM in SAP GRC AC 5.3.
    Where can I get the Business Process & sub-process of a SAP ECC 5.0, in witch Tcode?
    An in the part of u201CProject/Releaseu201D where can I get this element from SAP ECC 5.0?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards.
    Pablo Mortera.

    Pablo,
       You won't be able to get BP, SBP and Project/Release information from any Tcode. Whenever security admin creates a role, they assign the role to a Business process, functional area etc. This information comes from Business.
    Project/Release field is used to identify the project name for which this role is being created/maintained.
    These are role attributes which help in role documenation so business needs to decide about the association.

  • Driver program for the Dunning letter SAP Script

    Hello All,
    Can someone please tell me how to find the "Driver program for the Dunning letter SAP Script". I checked the Transaction OB96 but I dont find any Dunning scripts here i.e., the standard Dunning letter SAP Script F150_DUNN_01.
    Is there any Transaction like NACE of logistics for FI module to find the Driver programs. My requirement is to find the Driver program for the Dunning letter SAP Script and have a new Driver program instead of the standard SAP given driver program. Example is in transaction NACE we can change the driver program for Invoice like from RVADIN01 to ZRVADIN01.
    Thanks and Regards,
    SNK.

    Yes you can, using FIBF, change the FM associated with event 1720 like when SapScript is replaced with SmartForms. Look at [Define Dunning Forms (with SAP Smart Forms)|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/es/7d/c7a0a535e1d311ba4d0800060d888b/content.htm] for reference.
    But notice
    - PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE call many FM of the same FG which share the same global data area.
    - During following upgrades of your system you will have to manage a copy of standard.

  • Issue in Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud)

    Hello Everyone,
    I would like to have a discussion on the issues, which I am facing at the time of Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from
    SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud).
    (1). Sales Price List :
    We have maintained Customer Group Specific Sales Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
    Location :         Product and Service Portfolio Work Center > Pricing > Price Lists > Customer Group Specific Price List (Type of Price List)
    Target :             We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
    Records :          Number of Materials in the Customer Group Specific Price List is more than 2,00,000
    Issues :
                                         (A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can filter by number of records but we can export till  50,000 records.
                                                 And if we are trying to export records more than that limit, then it throws "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
                                         (B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product and Service Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center
                                                for getting the entire record set of the Sales Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
                                          (A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Sales Price List records?
                                          (B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Sales Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    (2). Purchase Price List :
    We have maintained the Purchase Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
    Location :           Product Portfolio Work Center > List Prices > Active List Prices (Type of Price List)
    Target :               We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
    Records :            Number of Materials in the Purchase Price List is more than 4,00,000.
    Issues :
                                           (A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can not see more than 10,000 records and the actual number of
                                                   records are more than 4,00,000. We could able to download the records till 10,000 but that is not sufficient.
                                                   We want to export the entire records in an excel sheet.
                                           (B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center for
                                                  getting the entire record set of the Purchase Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
                                           (A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Purchase Price List records?
                                           (B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Purchase Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    Please go through the attached screen shots for the references and more clarity on the issues.
    I am waiting for the valuable responses.
    Thanks and regards,

    Dear Michael,
    The number of records :
    2 Million (Approximately) is for the Sales Price List Material Price Data
    4 Million (Approximately) is for the Purchase Price List Material Price Data.

    The help is wrong. When you request a number from Next number, it returns the Current Sequence. It then adds the value of the Increment By to that number and stores it back to the Current Sequence, ready for the next request.

  • Configure the tcode SCOT and SMTP for the SPM module in the R/3

    Hello,
    I want to know if I have to configure the tcode SCOT and SMTP for the SPM module (SAP GRC AC 5.3 SP5) in the R/3 if I want to send information toe the owner & controller.
    Best Regards.
    Pablo Mortera.

    Pablo,
    This would normally be a basis function. Be very careful as this is not specific to GRC.
    This will impact any external notifications using email / fax etc.
    It will also depend on your version and infrastructure.
    If you have web application servers, you will be able to do a lot more than if you have standard (older) application servers.
    You need to create a node under the INT and assign the appropriate tcp / ip rfc connection to direct it to your email server.
    You will then need to define the types of communications to be sent via that method and any appropriate email domain settings.
    You also need to create and set the appropriate send jobs to run periodically which will then automatically call the rfcs to process the waiting documents.

  • Difference between the XML for the "Initial System Data" in the module ERM

    Hello,
    I wan to know what's the difference between the XML for the "Initial System Data" in the module ERM of SAP GRC AC 5.3.
    RE_init_clean_and_insert_data.xml
    RE_init_append_data.xml
    RE_init_methodology_data.xml
    And what "Initial System Data" do I have to put?? the rule set?
    I'm new in SAP GRC.
    Thank you very much.
    Pablo Mortera.

    Pablo,
        I am sorry but I am not able to get the question so I will explain as per my understanding. All of these three xml files contain necessary out of the box data which is required for ERM to function. Without this data, your ERM would not work so this is the first thing you want to do in ERM after successful installation.
    After that, you will have to create connector and landscape and then synchronize transaction code, auth objects, fields, values etc by running through each background job one by one.

  • Proble while creating new Data Connection for the Webservice

    Hai All,
    when creating a new Data Conneciotn for the Webservice in the interactive form i got the following errror
    Cannot choose this operation:
    - there is no associated SOAP Binding
    edit -> new Data Connection -> WSDL -> i entered the wsdl url -> i got the methods in that webservice
    but when i select one of the method in the methods list i got above error
    i developed a webservice in NWDS and deployed the WAS ( created a webservice for the session bean)
    please help me to solve the problem
    Thanks in advance
    Siva Sankar N

    Problem was solved,
    Downloading the WSDLs:
    Download the 3 WSDL files from the WAS using the WS-navigator tool:
    Go to http://<was-host>:50000/wsnavigator/enterwsdl.html
    Select your WS
    Click in the menu “WSDLs”
    Download the default SAP WSDL
    You will have 3 WSDL files in the downloaded zip files.
    1) main.wsdl
    2)config1_XXXXVi_document.wsdl
    3_configl_document.wsdl
    Perform the follwing task to the above wsdl files, and use this wsdl files to the datasource
    1. Copy/paste the <wsdl:service> XML element from the main.wsdl to the Config1_SDN_adobeWSVi_document.wsdl.
    2. Copy the <wsdl:binding> XML element from the Config1_document.wsdl to the Config1_SDN_adobeWSVi_document.wsdl.
    3. Add the SOAP namespace (xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/") from the main.wsdl to the Config1_SDN_adobeWSVi_document.wsdl.
    4. Adjust the namespace reference by replacing “prt0” and “bns0” with “tns”.

  • Enterprise Risk Management Approach in SAP GRC

    Hi All,
    Can you please let me know  as to what is the approach followed for implementation of  Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) in SAP GRC.  Also please tell me how the internal control frameworks like COSO, COBIT is mapped to ERM in SAP GRC.
    Regards
    Vivek

    Dear Vivek,
    While assigning roles to users, you will be displayed the risks that are identified with those roles, if any. You can either mitigate or remove the roles.
    The process covered by GRC Risk management includes the following steps:
    -Risk Planning: Determines the approach to risk management in each business area or project. This includes setting up the risk management organization and defining risk thresholds . This phase is partially supported by a software application.
    -Risk Identification and Analysis: Identifies the risks in order to analyze and prioritize them along different attributes, such as probability of occurrence and potential total loss associated to the risk.
    -Risk Response: Decides on actions needed to respond to a risk. One action could be to actively mitigate the risk to reduce probability of occurrence and/or potential impact.
    -Risk Monitoring: Includes the regular update of risk information and the risk reporting to monitor progress along the risk management process.
    The Risk Management application provides a set of different reporting capabilities based on the individual needs of the target groups:
    -A set of built-in reports that are delivered with the application. These reports allow risk managers to review the current risk state.
    -Visual Composer based dashboards that provide information about the current risk status on an aggregated basis. The dashboards fulfill the risk reporting needs of senior managers and line managers.
    Step 1: You maintain the Risk structure
    1. You set up the organizational hierarchy
    2. You set up the Activity Hierarchy
    3. You set up the Risk Hierarchy
    Step 2: You perform the Risk Assessment
    1. You identify the risks
    2. You analyze the risks
    3. You respond to risks
    4. You document the Incidents
    Step 3: You analyze risk reports
    1. You generate risk reports
    2. You report the incidents
    Step 4: You analyze the dashboards
    Refer SAP documentation on GRC for more information.
    Regards,
    Naveen.

  • Type-mapping not working correctly, get "Unable to find a javaType for the xmlType" WARNING

    I'm manually creating a web-services.xml file, and using the autogen ant task to
    generate the codec XML/Java classes. The XML definition is provided by SAP.
    The ant build.xml file:
    <project name="buildWebservice" default="stubgen">
    <target name="stubgen">
    <clientgen ear="C:\projects\RMIS\ifrrequests\RMIS.ear"
    packageName="com.aa.rmis.webservice.client"
    clientJar="C:\projects\RMIS\ifrrequests\rmisws-client.jar"
    autotype="False" />
    </target>
    <target name="all" depends="stubgen"/>
    </project>
    The problem is seen below in the output from Ant. Note the WARNINIG. The problem
    is that the xml type cannot be mapped to the Java type.
    C:\projects\RMIS\ifrrequests>ant -buildfile clientbuild.xml
    Buildfile: clientbuild.xml
    stubgen:
    [clientgen] Generating client jar for RMIS.ear ...
    [clientgen] WARNINIG: Unable to find a javaType for the xmlType:['urn:sap-com:do

    [clientgen] Building jar: C:\projects\RMIS\ifrrequests\rmisws-client.jar
    BUILD SUCCESSFUL
    Total time: 17 seconds
    The Java source that has the implementation of the service methods is simply:
    package com.aa.rmis.webservice;
    import com.aa.rmis.ifr.request.*;
    public class TestService
    public TestService()
    public int serviceRequest(PaymentRequestCreate request)
    System.out.println("Received serviceRequest message");
    return 0;
    public void testStringRequest(String request)
    The web-service.xml file is attached, which contains the schema for the SAP PaymentRequest.Create
    object definition.
    Another problem I have, which is probably related, is that the service method
    that has a complex data type (non-built in data type) is not being deployed into
    the WebLogic server. But the other service method that simply takes a String
    parameter is.
    The steps I took are:
    1. Get XML from SAP Interface Repository (IFR) for PaymentRequest
    2. Use ant task autogen to generate the request codec classes
    3. Create the web-services.xml file by inserting the schema definition and the
    mapping file created by the autogen task, and defining the operations
    4. Build web-services.war file that contains all autogen compiled class files,
    the web-services.xml file, and the service implementation class
    5. Build the ear file that holds the web service files
    6. Use the clientgen ant task to generate (included above) to generate the client
    jar file that should contain the proxy for both of the service methods
    Environment:
    * WebLogic 7.02
    * JDK 1.3.1_06
    * JBuilder 9 Enterprise
    * Ant 1.4
    Possible causes:
    * Namespace not being used correctly
    * copied verbatim the mapping xml file generated by autogen into the web-services.xml
    file
    * xml-schema part of web-services.xml might not be set correctly
    * operation definition might not be using the correct namespace
    * Classpath used for ant might not be right
    * Doubt this is the problem, but I'm out of other ideas
    * Set by using the setWLEnv.cmd file provided by WebLogic
    * Tried adding the generated classes directory for my project to the classpath,
    but did not work
    I've been referencing the Programming WebLogic Web Services document throughout
    this entire process. I must be missing something.
    Can anybody from BEA help me out with this problem?

    [web-services.xml]

    Hi JD,
    I spent a few cycles looking over your web-services.xml file, however I
    don't have any suggestions other that one that looks like you have
    already tried, at the top, in the <schema...>
    targetNamespace="urn:sap-com:document:sap:business"
    Making edits to these generated files can be tricky and my only
    suggestion is to create a small reproducer to run by our outstanding
    support team.
    A quick look at our problem database shows one issue (CR095109) related
    to a similar problem at deploy time that was fixed with 7.0SP3. Again,
    the support folks will be able to help focus in on the issue.
