[WebView] external HTML loaded, but without styles and scripts...?

Hello again :)
I am using WebView to load an external HTML document for layouting and styling my application. Thereby I generated an executable .jar to use this as a sstand alone application. Here it snaps.
When I load the HTML, its loaded without styles and scripts, mentioned in the <head> part of the doc. Scripts, pics and styles are referenced relatively. That works indeed: laoding the doc in Chrome results in a fully functional website, but doing so with the .jar does not.
This is how I load the page:

I repeat: this structure works in a browser. Why not in the jar?

Unfortunately you need to form your xml a little differently.

On the server I use a java utility to replace the html less than (<) and greater than(>) and other characters with the amper html equivelants.
However I am sure that there must be a regular expression syntax somewhere out there that will do this in Flex.

We suffered the imap.gmail.com server problem After an IoS 6 upgrade. The simple solution is to delete the problem account, shut down the iPad, start up again and reenter the account. Everything comes back normally. Good Luck everyone!

I don't have the disk and i tried the shift key and it didn't do anything, i have tried like everything but it won't work and i was givin this computer with a charger and that is all nothing came with it and i don't think that it had the lion thing on it either i never got to that it just won't turn on and i have another mac that was a family members but it won't turn on either at all it won't load anything the screen stays black. so i don't really know at all what to do is there anything else? i don't want to take it anywhere because i have no money for that, and i need this computer for school. My email attachments cannot been seen on my Ipad. I think they are mostly in quicktime. When I touch the icon, the start to load but thats all and after a while my Ipad goes in sleeping time! What can I do.

I have problems with attechments of mails when it is a short movie (mostley humor). They come in my mailbox wot quicktime and i tru to open them but my ipad loads them but keeps showing "loading" but nothing happens. After a while my ipad goes in sleepingtime. Yes, I have tried the methods suggested but with no avail. This problem has happened before and solved by tinkering with Java, however, I do not remember or documented how to.

OSX loads, but doesnt finish and does not go to the desktop.

I have a powerbook G4 with OSX Tiger installed. For some reason it loads up to the blue screen with the OSX loader bar. The bar fills, but it does not prompt me to the desktop, it just sits there. Is it a hardware problem?

Alright, well let's try this then.
Restart your computer. After you restart your PC, let's try starting Firefox up in Safe Mode. Read [[Safe Mode|this article]] to see how to start in Safe Mode. If Firefox starts up normally, then this is likely a problem with your extensions, so we will need to disable them one by one (or disable them all and re-enable them one by one) to figure out the offender.
Another thing is please update to Firefox 11 (go to [[www.getfirefox.com|www.getfirefox.com]] to download it since you can't get Firefox open to update). It does have some bug fixes that might help your problem.

App shows "loading" but it hanged and cant be opened nor removed

I have this app "Leme Cam" which is bigger than 20MB and requires updating through wifi or computer. While I was updating other smaller apps using the iphone directly, the phone tried to update this app as well and it hanged with the wording "loading". I tried to update it through itunes on my com but it could not be updated nor removed. Anyone kind soul out there can advice me on what to do? Thanks alot!

Might be necessary to restore your iPhone at this point but restore as new, not from a backup.
Connect your iPhone to your computer. Launch iTunes. Select the Summary tab. Make sure there's enough storage space.
Try this ... Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings. Restart the iPhone, then try syncing that app again.

Hotmail inbox home page loads, but is frozen, and I cannot open or use any of its functions. I have to revert to MSInternet Expl to use hotmail.

I have the latest level MF. I have not used this particular PC for some 6 weeks, but by using a laptop elsewhere have accessed Hotmail OK, and not let a backlog of mail clog up the system. Load external html into a Layer?

I've created a framework of a kids' site using CSS layers to
overlap a Skyline image overtop of another 2 layers, one showing a
BG image of the sky, the other showing the scrolling content.
For another section of the site, I would like to load an
external HTML into the layer behind the skyline. Specifically, I
would like a Blog to load and scroll behind the skyline. Anyone
know if it is possible to load an external html page into a layer,
and if so, how does one go about it?

is the first frame of your loaded swf's empty? if yes, then no problem using _levels.
if not, do you mind a momentary flash when your next swf loads and before its _alpha is assigned 0 and then faded-in? if you don't mind, then no problem using _levels.
if you do mind that momentary flash, then using _levels will be more complex than using empty target movieclips. is there some good reason to use _levels instead of target movieclips?

How to keep music on external hard drive, but play on iMac?

So, I have nearly 500GB of music on an external hard drive. I don't want to move them into my iMac, because it'd obviously eat up all my free space. My question is, how can I keep them on the external hard drive, but still access and play them while I'm on my Mac?
How would I do so using itunes? Would it be simpler to use a different program? If so, which one? Cost?
Could some please tell me how to do this step-by-step? I am at a loss for how to do this! Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
(Also, on a slightly unrelated topic, does anyone know a good software to create album cover? I like to make them for mix cds I make. Name cost, preferably something cheap).

Open the Advanced section of the iTunes preferences and set it not to copy content to the iTunes Music folder when it's added to the library. Alternatively, drag them onto the QuickTime Player in the Dock.

Problem loading the Add-ons and other personalization pages

Whenever I try to bring up Firefox's "Add-ons" or "Personas" webpage I keep getting this error message: "The connection was interrupted" "The connection to addons.mozilla.org was interrupted while the page was loading." I am running the lastest version of Firefox. Anyone having this problem?

The result I received from using the first url was:
"The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."
The result I received using the second url the page loading, but without any formatting or background, it just didn't load correctly. When I refreshed the url to see if that would correct the page I received the same error message listed above.

How to remove Catalyst stylesheets and scripts

How do I stop BC from inserting stylesheets and scripts into my layouts? I have been working on catalog and product layouts and templates but BC continues to insert scripts & stylesheets that I do not want to include, particularly borders and margins.
I know about removing all code leaving it blank from the /StyleSheets/ModuleStyleSheets.css
But here is an example of a product large which includes a number of these which effect the layout

While I don't recommend using the Cloud Service you are talking about to speed up the site (you can just combine and minify your styles and scripts for faster performance instead) I think your best bet is to copy the contents of ModuleStylesheets.css above the CSS rules in your main CSS file that styles your site. Then, delete all the CSS rules in ModuleStylesheets.css so that it's an empty file. BC will still render the ModuleStylesheets reference in the HEAD above your script but it will only be quick connection to the server to return 0kb (an empty file).
Since you moved your modulestylesheet css to your main css file (and it's referenced after the Cloud Service script) then you should be good to go.
Again, though I recommend not using that cloud service and just combine all your CSS and scripts into two files, one for all your CSS and one for all your js and then making sure all your images are optimized on the site and where there are instances of images that have a fixed width and height you can utilize sprite sheets so that a lot of your images are stored in a single image.
Another option is to pay for the super cheap Amazon S3 and upload your main css file and your single minified and combined javascript files to there and update your page template to reference the CSS and JS on Amazon S3 so it's essentially like a CDN which will speed things up as well.

Formatting will erase the drive.
You need to copy the photo's to either your old computer, the Mac Mini or to a new external drive and then decide what to do with your existing external drive.
For example: You could use one External drive for Photo's and one external drive for Time Machine to backup both your Mac Mini and the Photo drive.
