does anyone know were to find tutorials on create php product page with more then one image and a listing of products. Only to show not to buy products its basical to show products and to list them. Its to be done in dreamweaver can anyone help me Im having problems finding something.

What you're proposing to do is not particularly difficult, but nor is it something that can be taught in a quick online tutorial.
The first problem you face is that Dreamweaver's PHP server behaviors were removed from Dreamweaver CC because they use deprecated code. The code still works, but it's scheduled to be removed from PHP at some future stage. A lot of online tutorials (as well as published books) also use the deprecated code. So, unless you know what you're doing, you could easily end up learning to do something that will need to be completely redone when the deprecated code is finally removed from PHP.
How you handle this depends on your existing skills and budget. To the best of my knowledge, Adobe doesn't have immediate plans to replace the PHP server behaviors with updated code. If you don't have experience with PHP, you might want to consider buying commercial Dreamweaver extensions to handle this for you. DMXZone has some excellent PHP data extensions, but they're not cheap. I'm not sure whether WebAssist has updated its data extensions yet, but again, they're not cheap.
If you're willing to do some hand-coding, you might find my beginner PHP courses on lynda.com give you sufficient confidence to build the solution yourself. If you don't have a subscription to lynda.com, you can get 7 days unlimited access to all courses (disclosure: this is an affiliate link). If you prefer written material, my PHP Solutions, 2nd Edition, covers all the PHP/MySQL skills you'll need to accomplish this task. It was written four years ago, but avoids using the deprecated code.
Whichever route you decide to take, make sure the solution uses either MySQL Improved (MySQLi) or PDO. You'll be wasting your time trying to pursue a solution that uses PHP's original MySQL functions.

Creating PDFs using Pages and Mail

Hi,
I'm a contractor and I use Pages and Mail to to create PDFs of invoices that I email to clients in the form of attachments. I have Mail set up to to send only Windows friendly attachments, and to put them at the end of emails. I have one client, the facilities director of a large community college, who consistently cannot open the attachments; he can read the text of the emails, but he cannot open the attachments. He has to send them to his IT department, where they use a mac computer of some kind to open the attachments, which they send them back to him. I've discussed this with their IT department, and they've told me that they have to use a mac to open my attachments. If anyone can offer some advice on this issue, I'd appreciate it.

I know from my own experience that although there should be no problems with Mail's attachments, just once in a while recipients have the problems you describe.
The solution that worked for me 100% reliably was to install the paid for plug-in Attachment Tamer from: lokiware.info
You can use it for free to test it before committing to purchase, but I'm pretty sure all your recipients will be able to cope with all your attachments.
To elaborate, I used to have to send numerous attachments every day to mostly PC users. Randomly some would complain that I'd either forgotten to include the attachment (I hadn't) or they couldn't read it/open it/save it, etc. It's quite likely the fault was in the way their email client was configured. All I know is that as soon as I installed Attachment Tamer (it was Mail Attachments Iconizer back then) I never had any more complaints. For the knowledge that I wasn't going to be pestered into trying different ways of sending the files I was happy to pay for the plugin.
(Usual caveat: I have no connection with Lokiware, but very happy to recommend their product).

Create a photo page and have the photo's link to other internal pages

really basic quesiton, sorry but I can't do this for some reason. I created a photo page that is going to be a menu page to link to some internal pages. for some reason the Enable as a Hyperlink is greyed out and I can't click on it to make the image a hyperlink.
Any help or suggestions?

What you need to do is place a shape over the top of the image, then using Inspector, Graphic Tab give it an Opacity of 1% then you can make the shape a hyperlink.
The imageholders on the photo page cannot be used as hyperlinks.
Alos you must giv ethe shape an opacity of at least 1%, if you try 0% it will not work.

Creating new publishing page and viewing Properties throwing exeption

Hi,
I am creating new OOB publishing page using “Article Page” layout.
Please note Versioning and approval enabled on this “Pages” library. Also there is no workflow attached to this.
Steps I am following:
Goto Pages library.
Create new Article page from add new item
After that select that item and click on “View Properties” button from top ribbon. please not I have not checkedin page yet. It’s throwing exception as below.

Do you have any workflow on the publishing library? The error you mention I've seen sometimes when uses have created workflows that reference custom columns which are then deleted or removed.
Additionally, if a user has insufficient permissions to start an attached workflow, this error can also be encountered.

Create from Web Page and Out Of Memory

My machine is Windows XP Prof, 3+ GB of memory, 10's of GB of free hard drive space.
I create a PDFs from HTML pages located on my local drive. I am not making a PDF from HTML pages served by a Web Server. They are not located on some network device.
With Acrobat 7 Professional, I was able to create a PDF from HTML pages without any problem using the Create From Web Page menu option. It might have been slow, but it would predictably create a PDF. The final PDF might be as large as 72 or 130 MB.
I recently upgraded to Acrobat Pro Extended version 9. When I make some small PDFs (4-5 thousand pages) it seems to work okay. However, if I make the full PDF (about 10-15 thousand pages), Acrobat produces an out of memory error.
I have tried a number of things, but I still get the error. In the past I have had trouble like this with Acrobat 8 Prof on the Mac (but I don't remember an actual Out Of Memory message box).
Is there some setting can change, or some procedure that I can get my work done. It appears to me to be a bug in Acrobat 9, but if I could get a workaround for now, I would greatly appreciate it.

Even though I an using the Create from Web Page function, I am accessing files which my company has produced. They are located on my local system. I am not accessing them via a web server.
I can make a file with 1 level. I can make a file with a couple of thousand pages. Even 8400 pages. However, when I try to make a PDF of the full site Acrobat flakes out and dies. When it hits around 13,300 pages, it dies.
The troubling thing for me is that I was able to do the same thing in Acrobat Pro 7. I made a file with almost 14,500 pages. Because of the way Acrobat must be installed in Windows, I can't easily go back to version 7. It is a real pain not to be able to do something in the "New and Improved" version that I was able to do in the "nasty old" version.
It would be helpful if Acrobat had better logging and error logging facilities. Maybe there is one page that is hitting Acrobat's bug, and if I could eliminate or change that page I could continue, but there is no way of knowing (as far as I know).

Tutorials for creating php mail forms?

Hi,
Are there any free on line tutorials available for building a
php mail form which I can put into my web site, which also include
info on how to hook the form into the php server for processing?
Possibly including Captcha?
Lynda.com has a good one for Dreamweaver 4, but they don't
cover tying the form into the php engine or captcha.
I'd rather build my own rather than buying a script and want
to learn, and I am still new to php.

Closing tabs with mousewheel creates a blank page and a ghost tab

This is not a problem that affects usability or prevents me from doing something, but it feels like the tabs are broken.
Every time I close a tab that is not empty it will create a "ghost" tab on the tab bar. I have attached an image that shows that "ghost tab". It will go away when I move my mouse away from the tab bar.
Sometimes it will make my browser window blank as if I had opened a new tab, and that doesn't go away until I select another tab.
I have had this problem for a while now and I have restarted my computer a couple of times, as well as just restarted Firefox. None of these have removed this issue. I have Firefox version 36.0.1 (just updated about 5-10 minutes ago), so it doesn't seem like it has been fixed.
Does anyone else have this kind of issue? I'm not finding anyone on Google complaining about it, although it's not really something that would need to be complained about since it doesn't really affect usability. Just thought of submitting this if it were a bug.

Note that this can be default behavior if you close (multiple) tabs to ensure that close buttons stay in the same position.
As long as you have focus on the tab bar tabs should close and tabs to the left should be consistent.
If you move focus from the Tab bar then the tab bar is redrawn.
If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)

Creating a new page and new layout in a Parent/Child report.

Hi,
Currently I have a Parent/Child Report in Oracle Reports 6i. The report shows Contracts as the parent and the detail of the contracts are the Ads. Sometimes there are many ads which extend the contract to another page. Just a normal Parent/Child report. This report can display many contracts at once. My problem is that at the end of each contract I need a new page with a different layout, for a disclaimer page. I've tried many different scenarios using Anchors and page breaks. Is this even possible with Oracle Reports 6i, to have a new page with a different layout in a contract level repeating frame? Any suggestions would help.

You have 2 repeating frames: R_contracts and R_ads. Create a frame M_disclaimer after R_ads, within R_contracts to hold the disclaimer page. This page will print after all the ad records have been printed, and before the new contract starts.
You can set Page Break Before on M_disclaimer to print this frame on a new page.

Create newsletter with Pages and send out via mail (not attachement)?

I have a question: I have created a newsletter in Iworks Pages. How can I send this out via mail as a newsletter ? So not as an attachment? I know Microsoft Publisher can do it with 1 click, but I don't want to move to MSFT. Please let me know, I also have Indesign etc. Createion of the newsletter is easy with my Apple, but then it stops....and gets worse the MSFT....

No it is multipage. Can't test for all appliactions but it was both sent and received on my system/Mail as the 3 pages in the document.
In other apps and always if the PDF contain several pages, it will be an attachment : what was rejected by the OP.

If Microsoft Support was not able to help you, I doubt there is much we can do for you in this user forum, given the fact that we are all volunteers and do not work for Microsoft. If you have an MSDN subscription, you should be able to download Microsoft
Project 2007, but I cannot guarantee your product key will work. The alternative is to bite the bullet and purchase the 2013 version of Microsoft Project. There is a LOT of new functionality that has been introduced since the 2007 version and I
think you could really benefit from those new features. Just a thought. Hope this helps.
