WF Popup confirmation

Hi,
I use a popup_to_confirm in my Workflow Task.
I have a Reject Step with Task.
This task use an Abap Class / Method.
In the Method i have : CALL FUNCTION 'POPUP_TO_CONFIRM'
When he click to Reject in SBWP, Popup arrives
If user choose Yes : the task continue ... but if he choose No : I need to go back, return in SBWP screen.
How to do this ? (Cancel or Restart Task)
Thanks in advance,
Youri

Hi Youri,
What you can do here is as follows:
In the reject branch add a container operation to fill in a unique text to identify that the branch is Reject branch line &ZWCREJECT& = 'REJ'.
Then add it right after the pop up task added in the branch.Now add a loop outside the user decision step and cut paste the user decision block inside the loop.
Then check the conatiner operation added in the Reject step in your loop to continue to user decision step again. For other branches since there are no container operations for container &ZWCREJECT&
loop would terminate and next workflow step would be executed.
And keep in mind that when the control goes back to user decision step again it goes to same user's inbox that is in the agent's container and if you want to change the agents please change container values right after the container operation so that new agents see it in their inbox.
Please let me know if you need more details.

  • Disable Popup confirmation on station globals modified externally

    Hi,
    Is there any way to Disable the Popup confirmation Message saying the staiton globals are modified externally from TestStand?

    Hey Ramjee,
    Unfortunately, I don't believe there is any way to disable the dialog. I saw your other thread about the station globals, and would be happy to try and help figure out a different way to accomplish what you're trying to do that wouldn't require you to keep updating the globals. Let us know if we can do anything to help!

  • Alert popup confirmation BADI

    Hi guys I'm very new to ABAP and BADIs. We created a BPM session in SolMan and created alerts. The problem now is that we want to send sms alerts but we want a compact version of the alert where we only get the date, the time, the job name and the error.
    We also want to setup a e-mail alert the same way. Is it also possible to setup a email popup confirmation where you have to type in what you did when you click 'confirm' on the alert..
    Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards
    Vincent

    Hi Volker
    The problem I'm having with the sms notifications is that the sms are limited to 300bytes or 160 characters. Now I need the notification to be formatted in such a way that it can fit into the sms. So i figured if i put the Alert rating and the time stamp as the sms subject, and then put the alert message as  the body of the sms it would fit.. But now I'm stuck as to how I'm gonna get that done..
    Any help would be greatly appreciated..

  • How to prevent action (lead selection change) with popup (confirmation)?

    Hello all,
    I have an application where I want the user to confirm when he selects a new line in a table. When the user selects a new line in the table an other used component reloads its data based on the new line selected. If the user has not pressed the save button before selecting a new line, any changes in the used component will be lost.
    Currently I use onLeadSelect action on the table to call the load_data method(id=xxx) on the used component in order to display data relevant for id=xxx based the new line.
    I can open a popup to confirm from the onLeadSelect-action or the WDDoBeforeAction, but the action still happens; it doesn't wait for the user to respond. And then any changes are lost...
    I may have to store the parameters sent to the onLeadSelect method in context and continue when the button action from the pop-up returns via subscribed method, but I think this is an unelegant way of doing this.
    There must be a better way...? Any ideas?
    Regards,
    Christian Frier

    on the lead select event handler you can show the popup and no other logic. Move your logic to the ok and cancel button handlers of the pop up.

  • POPUP Confirmation Message in WEB BPS

    Hi experts,
    We need to do a confirmation popup Y/N message in BPS sequence before executing a FOX Formula.
    We follow the indications that we found in an old thread and it worked perfectly. But we need to do this in a WEB interface from de Web Interface Builder, also from BPS.
    The development that we made, didn't work in this environment.
    Have you any idea about a function that works on WEB??
    Thanks in advance for your help.

    I believe you should be able to this if you used Web Application Designer. The WAD allows you to create messages and other functions.

  • How to popup confirm dialog trying to navigate away with unsaved changes

    Is there any generic or built-in solutions for this common requirement?
    JDev: 11g
    any idea or material on this is appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Kevin.

    try capturing the onBeforeUnload event and display a modal confirmation dialog asking the user if he really wants to navigate away from the page; and warning him that if he does so, all the changes he made hitherto will be gone.
    However, you need to handle this intelligently since you need to identify if any fields in the form have changed and only then warn the user to confirm his decision to go away from this page.
    You can do this by having a flag which is initialized to false but when onBeforeUnload event is fired, you would check if any of the form fields in the page have changed by iterating over each and every form field,and then setting the flag to true if some thing changed
    the onBeforeUnload Handler will always return this flag, if it is true, you will get this confirmation popup, else the page will go away. To show a customized confirmation dialog, perhaps you would have to invoke the custom dialog call from with in the onBeforeUnload handler. When the user says yes, return false;else true.

  • Popup confirm Logout

    Hi,
    I have seen this feature on a website where if you click a
    link to logout, a popup window opens asking if you would like to
    logout or if you'd like to cancel. The status of the page behind
    the popup window is paused while the user clicks a choice. How can
    this be done?
    Any help would be greatly appeciated.
    Cheers, Adam

    Hi Jeremy,
    What i am trying to do is make sure that when a user closes a
    page ask them if they are sure they want to leave. You see what
    happens when a user logs in is that they are taken to a page where
    there access level is changed from 2 (user) to 3 (logged in) and
    when they logout there access level is changed back to 2 again. So
    when a user just exits the page to go to another page in the
    control panel i dont want to be asking them if they want to leave
    everytime as it will get just plain annoying.
    Any suggestions on how i can go around this ?
    Thanks, Adam

  • How do i get rid of the confirmation popup that says This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed

    when navigating on certain sites (fiverr.com is one), i get the popup confirmation "This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?"
    this is highly annoying and i can't find a way to turn this annoyance off. help!

    because of its impact on security this error message cannot be suppressed. you might want to contact the admins of the website where this is occuring and ask them to implement a handling of user input without sending it to a different server...

  • Html db - confirmation popup

    Hi everyone,
    I would like a "popup" which is posted when I press on Close button in my page and I've forgotten to record my data.
    Is this with Javascript which I can create this popup confirmation or HTML-DB offers something in this case ?
    Thank you very much. Bye.

    Do you mean a close button in HTMLDB or the browser window's close button? [HTMLDB cannot help much with the latter!]
    For buttons you created, just add a URL target as
    javascript:if(confirm("Are you sure?")) doSubmit('CLOSE');
    That will popup the box and if OK is clicked submit the page with REQUEST set to CLOSE

  • Mixing Confirm popup with Validation

    We have an application where we key information. In some cases, we are collecting hours worked and we want to put in a "soft" validation - ie a popup confirmation box if the number of hours is over a certain number (we are subject to laws, etc.). Can anyone guide me through where to put the Javascript confirmDelete? Or is there an easier way?

    Sorry, I had some fires to put out and hadn't been able to try this.
    Here's a slight hitch and maybe someone can suggest a workaround: the dates get entered in chunks: i.e. the date, start hours, start minutes, start AM/PM, end hours, end minutes, end AM/PM are all different fields (7 in total). This was for entry speed purposes. When I go to calculate everything up for insert, I use a PL/SQL function to concatenate everything that works great.
    Would this work: using the same methodology in a PL/SQL calculation to set a hidden field value to the total hours, then an onChange() call to the popup warning? I haven't been able to put together a JavaScript equivalent of the following (which is what I would need):
    declare
      str_day     VARCHAR2(12);
      dt_indx     DATE;
      db_dt_indx  VARCHAR2(12);
      str_st_tm   VARCHAR2(25);
      dt_st_tm    DATE;
      str_ed_tm   VARCHAR2(25);
      dt_ed_tm    DATE;
      hrs         NUMBER;
    begin
      str_day    := :P1050_DATE_MM || '/' || :P1050_DATE_DD || '/' ||  :P1050_DATE_YYYY;
      dt_indx    := to_date(str_day, 'MM/DD/YYYY');
      db_dt_indx := to_char(dt_indx, 'MM/DD/YYYY');
      str_st_tm  := str_day || ' ' || :P1050_TIME_IN_HH || ':' || :P1050_TIME_IN_MI || ' ' || :P1050_TIME_IN_AM;
      dt_st_tm   := TO_DATE(str_st_tm, 'MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI AM');
      str_ed_tm  := str_day || ' ' || :P1050_TIME_OUT_HH || ':' || :P1050_TIME_OUT_MI || ' ' || :P1050_TIME_OUT_AM;
      dt_ed_tm   := TO_DATE(str_ed_tm, 'MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI AM');
      select FN_GET_TC_HRS(dt_st_tm, dt_ed_tm) into hrs from DUAL;
      --Alter date if night shift
      IF dt_ed_tm < dt_st_tm THEN
        dt_ed_tm := dt_ed_tm + 1;
      END IF;
      :P1050_TTL_HRS := hrs;

  • Popup to confirm when closing browser window?

    Hi
    I want to display popup confirm window when closing browser window, "changes will be lost" yes or no. for this i searched forums got some idea, about "WORK PROTECT MODE". this will work only when our application running from portal. my doubt is where should i write code for this??? any help
    Thanks,
    kris.

    Hi Thomas,
    We are on ECC6.0 enph5.
    In system configuration in epc.loader(service) the value for work protect mode is set as 1 - Protect unsaved data (open page in a new window)
    1)Is it possible to override this value within WD ABAP application? for example show popup window when there is unsaved data
    2)In this scenario what is the significance of L_PORTAL_MANAGER->SET_WORK_PROTECT_MODE
    and   L_PORTAL_MANAGER->SET_APPLICATION_DIRTY_FLAG
    3)Where exactly  L_PORTAL_MANAGER->SET_APPLICATION_DIRTY_FLAG has to coded. It does trigger modify method of the view.
    Thanks,

  • Transaction Posting Confirmation Message and Action Listener behaviour

    Hi, I have a scenario that a user is Posting a Transaction and when he press the “Post” Button a, confirmation dialog box should popup asking “Do you really want to Post the record ?”. If the user press “Yes” the record is further process and If the user press “No” then the transaction should not proceed.

    The MII Message listener is a queue. But when I understand you correctly, you do not want to process the messages immediately after arriving in the Listener.
    Maybe the categorization of messages is an option for you (see [Sap Help: Processing Rule Editor - Category|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/en/43/e80b59ad40719ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm]. You can enter a category for the control recipe messages. The messages will then be placed in the Listener queue. You can use the [Message Services|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/en/43/e80b59ad40719ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm] actions to read the categorized messages and process them as you need.
    In addition to Manoj, you may also use the [Queueing actions|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/en/43/e80b59ad40719ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm] of MII, where you can queue xml contents.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to handle the popup windows in e-tester.

    Hi,
    We are currently using the e-Tester by using record/playback on Facebook. During recording as part of functionality we have encountered some confirmation popups (Which are not ordinary windows popups). Actions on those popups (confirm/cancel) are not identified by e-Tester while play back. We don’t have an idea about in which language those popup are developed.
    Can any body please suggest the solution?

    We don’t have an idea about in which language those popup are developedI'm quite sure that is is not Oracle Forms.

  • Delete records in a report with a popup

    Hi.
    In my report, the first column contains edit buttons for each record. Now, the second column should provide a delete button for each record. Is it possible to create a popup window that comes up if the user presses the button and ask to submit and to cancel? And after a submit, the record is deleted from the database and the page refreshed? How do I create this popup and the process?
    Thanks in Advance for your help.
    Stephan

    Hi Denes.
    Yes. Your example makes exactly that what I'm going to try. I had a closer look at the settings of your page and tried to transfer it to my problem.
    Unfortunately, it don't work and I don't know why.
    the URL with the javascript popup is:
    javascript:confirmDelete(htmldb_delete_message,'f?p=&APP_ID.:3010:&SESSION.:DELETE:&DEBUG.::P3010_DELETE_ID:#ACT_ID#');
    The debug modues displays the following messages:
    A C C E P T: Request="f?p=100:3010:4471084058876053:DELETE:YES::P3010_DELETE_ID:22"
    S H O W: application="100" page="3010" workspace="" request="" session="4471084058876053"
    ...Session State: Save "P3010_DELETE_ID" - saving same value: ""
    If I use the page as target of the button with the request value and the setting of delete_id it works but without a popup confirmation dialog.
    I have nearly done it like in your example. What could be the problem?
    Thanks for help
