What can i use for adobe flash player i cant do my face book and i cant see some movies either can anyone help me please as i am new to this thanks
Hi can any one please help me.... I cant do my face book or watch some movies. My ipad2 needs adobe flash player and it wont allow that application to be downloaded has any one got any suggestions please. Please help me as im a newbie at this thanks..
There is no flash player for iPad and likely wont be in the near future. Some people use Skyfire and other apps as ways to view flash on a remote server, but reviews are mixed.
Facebook works fine on the iPad browser, but you can also use dedicated apps. Games such as Farmville are also available in app forms, as is YouTube. What movie sites are you trying to view?

What Apple app works for adobe flash player?
On christmas i bought my iPad 3G+wi fi, my first dissapoint was to play in internet adobe flash video in two sites www.tuparada.com and www.integridadysabiduria.org, appstore recommends some apps equivalent to adobe flash, i tried Skyfire ($4.95) but it doesn't work, and i lost my money because Skyfire said they can not refund because Apple doesn' has policy refund, anyway my core cuestión is : how can i play internet vídeos which request adobe flash player.?
I think Apple should probably have to take most seriously this problem, because this kind of video is high popular , besides retailers do not quote the warning that we will not be allowed to play this type of video

There is no guaranteed solution for the iPad as flash is not and probably never will be supported.
Apart from Skyfire there a browser apps such as iSwifter, Puffin and Photon which 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites.

What do you use for a flash player on you iPad? Or is there one?
Help
No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
Here is Steve Jobs official comment on his momentous decision to omit Flash from iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.
Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash. Adobe is not providing Flash for Apple iOS devices, and they no longer provide Flash for any other cellular phones. Flash is officially gone.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.
A sample of Apps that can display some Flash content:
1. Puffin
2. SkyFire
3. Photon Flash
4. Browse2Go
5. Swifter
Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that." -
I can't use any site that uses adobe flash. Is there something else I need to do?
iOS devices do not support Flash.
Adobe does not support Flash on mobile devices or Linux. It works for now on Android/Linux, but it is deprecated and will be falling behind.
Flash is dead. Complain to the webmaster of whatever site and tell them to get with this decade. -
What is Apple's substtute for Adobe Flash Player on iPad?
What is Apple's substtute for Adobe Flash Player on iPad?
Until Adobe can develop a version of Flash that works for mobile devices that is stable and doesn't hog memory resources or ***** up battery life, there isn't much anyone can do about this!
Android devices claiming to run Flash are having these issues, too. Steve Jobs and Apple simply won't allow Adobe Flash to with their mobile hardware/software with the state of affairs with Flash, now. If Adobe has a breakthrough and can develop a version of Flash or some sort a content providing software that works and plays well with mobile devices and platforms, the situation may change. For the foreseeable future, Flash is going to be absent on current and future Apple mobile devices.
On another note, PPC Macs are obsolete technology that is, at least 6 years old. OS X 10.5 was the last Mac operating system to still support PPC Mac architecture. This OS is , at least, 3 years old. OS X 10.4 Tiger is, at least 5 years old.
You can't expect either Apple or Adobe,or any hardware/software manufacturer/developer, at this time, to keep supporting older technologies. Especially, anything 5 or 6 years old or more. It's just not cost effective or practical.
Technology marches on. There are many of us, probably, still using PPC Macs, including myself. We're all in the same boat.
At some point, we're going to have to play catch up to the latest and greatest to be able to stay current on the grid and to be current with new technologies, hardware, and software.
I do not think this is a rational reason to jump ship on a company who, arguably, makes the best technology hardware/software integrated devices and computers in the world. -

What is a good "free" substitute for Adobe Flash Player? I need this for photos to be developed.
link5645 wrote:
You cannot substitute another app for Flash because it is proprietary technology. Apple is adamant about keeping Flash out of their phones and tablets, hence why you will not find it in the App Store. If you want to be able to use Flash on-the-go, consider purchasing an Android device.
Doesn't matter at this point. Android 4.0.3 is the last OS he'll have if he wants flash. Adobe has already stopped development for their mobile flash player. -
Some sites ask for adobe flash player. My IPad doesn't support it. How can I get over it?
You could try a third-party browser app such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon which 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store.

Adobe flash player doesn't support OSX10.5.8 , and i can't watch any video. Please advice? Do i need to upgrade ? or any application to replace?

I can't download Adobe flash player, and it keeps telling me to, especially to watch videos, is there anything else to use besides Adobe flash player?
You would download Flash from here http://www.adobe.com/go/EN_US-H-GET-FLASH however if your running an old version of Mac OS X say 10.5.8 or earlier then you cannot run the current version of Flash which is 11.3
Remember you not only have to download Flash but you have to run the installer.
Some websites that use Flash might tell your computer the site needs a specific minimum version of Flash and as above if your running too old a version of Mac OS X then you will not be able to run a new enough version of Flash. -

How can I install an adobe flash player app for iPad?
I work for healthcare business and some of our health education requires to have adobe flash player. I can't go thru the lesson every time I attempt to open the site it's reply is my iPad2 don't support the system. Is there an app for adobe flash player for iPad?
There is no Flash Player for the iPad. There never was and never will be because Apple doesn't permit it. But Adobe has also changed its mind and no longer distributes Flash for ANY tablet. You're out of luck.
