What is a System Function / Kernel Routines

Hi All,
     Can anyone let me know what is a "Sytem Function" or "Kernel Routines", Where can i check the code behind system function, Is the coding done in ABAP or C, Where can I get the list of all available system functions.

These functions are routines that are implemented inside of the kernel code. They are usually implemented in C. Use Google to find a list of all system functions.

    The reason why you are getting an error when passing the document to
    accounting is because your ship-to partner does not have a jurisdiction
    code. The error is correctly triggered since the jurisdiction code is
    required when shipping to a jurisdictional country. You can't
    post this transaction without a jurisdiction code.
    If you maintain a tax jurisdiction code on the customer master,
    cancel the invoice and rebill, the document should pass to accounting.
    The tax jurisdiction code is maintained on the address data screen.
    Please check if there is a jurisdiction code maintained in
    the customer master data. If that is not the case, check, if the
    tax pricing procedure for the country of the customer is set relevant
    for jurisdiction code. If the country of the customer is relevant
    (entry for pricing procedure) and the customer master has no jur. code
    maintained, the error tells exactly that situation. Then, either the co
    should be set to not relevant for TXJCD or the customer should get
    that customising entry.
    Please be aware that if shipping from the US to a non juristiction
    country the system should take a dummy jurisdiction code from the OBCL
    transaction.

    Please check in OBY6, that your company code is having a country.
    If not, then you need to check program LTAX2F01 (FORM DETERMINE_KALSM_FROM_BUKRS) in debug mode with your ABAPer help.

    Calls the system function cfunc. The relevant function must exist in the file sapactab.h. If you change or recreate a function, you have to compile and link the SAP kernel again. For this, you need the C source code files.
    Normally, external programs should be called by RFC with CALL FUNCTION ... DESTINATION.

    Passes fields to the called program by reference. With "ID id1", you specify the name of a formal parameter, and with "FIELD f1" the relevant field from the ABAP/4 program. If a formal parameter expects an internal table, the latter is passed in the form "FIELD tab[]".

    I would get rid of the intego "VirusBarrier" software - it's likely what's causing your kernel panics.

  • How to determine logical system in a routine

    Hello everybody,
    I want to extract data from a ODS-Object (let's say A) to the other ODS-Object (B).
    The A-ODS includes data from different R/3-source-system, where I want to select the data from one R/3-source system into B-ODS. Normally I can use the InfoObject 0LOGSYS (which exist as a key-field in A-ODS) with a constant string ofR/3-source system. But the Problem I we have when tranposting to different BW-System.
    My question is: how can I determin the BW-System (logical system in a routine, where I can program the coding more flexible? Is there a field for source system similar to sy-datum or is there a function module ?

    On trying to create the accounting document from Billing document( the ship to company is in Canada, we use SAP for taxes in Canada), I get strange error:
    We are in 4.6c. I checked for OSS notes. There is nothing for version 4.6c ,hiowever there is OSS notes for other versions of SAP.
    Error Message:
    System error in routine FI_TAX_GET_TXJCD_LEVELS error code 2 function builder TAX2
    Message no. FF769
    Diagnosis
    A serious program error has occurred.
    System Response
    The current processing step cannot be carried out.
    Procedure
    If the program error occurred
    · In a standard SAP program, then create an OSS message
    · In a program you wrote yourself, then correct the program.
    Has anyone seen this before?
    Please reply at the earliest.

    When you generate invoice that time your ship to party may not have jurisdiction code in the customer master record. So after maintain the Jurisdiction code cancel the invoice and regenerate invoice then your problem will be solved.

    I've found the Form Group in transaction J7LE. It is part of Industry Specific solution for hi tech companies, so I'm not sure if you'll be able to access it. In this tcode you define master data of your partner. The first step is to choose the Form Group - they simply group Form Routines. Depending on which one I choose, different entry fields get activated. However there are routines that will enable input to the same fields, so I suppose there must be some additional functionality behind it. Could you please specify what does it mean?

  • "System error KERNEL.446571: 1528: Internal error detected by SMP multi-tasker" in LabVIEW RT 8.5

    When I try to run my startup executable on LabVIEW RT 8.5 I get the message "System error KERNEL.446571: 1528: Internal error detected by SMP multi-tasker".  What does this mean?  How do I get around it?  Has anyone else seen something simliar?

    Just crashed again with the same error.  This time it was accompanied by a support.cpp error line 1112.  The data in the error log file (rtlog.txt attached) doesn't seem to correlate with the crashes I'm seeing.  I think a lot of the crashes aren't getting logged at all.  The latest development is crashes after it's been running a while (1528 & 1510 happen on startup).  The RT desktop simply reboots without showing or logging an error.  Any way to track that down?  Does this file mean anything more to you than me?  I don't feel like I have enough material or info to create an SR.
