  • Goods Reciept BAPI that updates Document Flow

    Hello,
We are looking for a BAPI or FM that posts a goods reciept against a PO and updates document flow. Does anyone know if this exists?
We have been using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, which will post the GR against the PO but it does not update the Doc Flow.  It is essential for Doc Flow to be updated because it posts the event in our SAP SCM EM instance.
Any help would be much appreciated... will award as many points possible.

  • Fields For Good Reciept and Issed !

    Hi all,
I want the fields for the goods reciept and good issued for getting the stock for a particular material as on to date (which is my selection screen) ...
I have selected the sales data from the VBRK and VBRP tables which is for sales information and now i need to find out the Stock information. My Requirement is to maintain sales stock and to show the Turn Over Ratio ???
Can you tell me the tables and the fields where i will get them ...
I m calculating my Stock as:
Stock (as on date) = Substracted Value (Reciepts - issues ) - current stock.

In MSEG there is field for Sales order number as well as item number from that you can get the Goods issues quantity, similarly in MSEG you also have purchase order number and purchase order item numner from which you can get the goods purchased quantity by passing it to VBAP and EKPO respectively.

  • Is there a way to tell what is actually being passed to DB from PreparedSta

Is there a way to tell what is actually being passed to DB from PreparedStatement? What I mean by that is that I have a PreparedStatement that is a simple
    prepstmt = connection.prepareStatement("Insert into table (col1, col2, col3, .... colx) values (?,?,?....?)");
    (there are x ?s)
I precompile this, and later, when there is a connection I call set all the variables
    prepstmt.setInt(1, someint); prepstmt.setString(2, "\\'" + somestring + "\\'"); etc... prepstmt.executeUpdate();
I get back an exception thrown by Oracle complaining that one of my values is too large for the column (but doesn't say what column/value).
So I made a string that contains what ought to be the same query
    String debug = "Insert into table (col1, col2, col3, .... colx) values (someint,'somestring',etc....someotherint)"; System.out.println(debug);
I give the printed out line directly to Oracle through SQLScratchpad and it works just fine in there and I can confirm the row has been inserted. Nothing is too big.
Is there a way to look at what the PreparedStatement actually has as values in there? I found I could look at the original statement (the one with the ?s) if I expand the prepstmt object in the debugger's (Eclipse) view, but nothing to show me where the values were filled in.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hrm, I'm suspecting that perhaps it has to do something with setting CHAR fields. Some of the fields in this table are CHAR but I don't see a call in my PreparedStatement that can set a char, only a String, so that's what I've been using, but it may be that that's not the right thing to do. I'm running Java 1.5.10, and looking through the API there doesn't seem to be anything specifically for char.

  • What table/fields show if a PO Item has a G/R Expected?

    Hi experts,
I am coding a program in SRM, but not sure I'll find these answers there, so I'm likely going to do a RFC to ECC and get the values, but need to know how to identify.
    In ECC:
    (1) What table/field shows if a PO item has a G/R expected?
    (2) Where can I find if the PO item has any open receipts?
    (3) Where can I find the amount remaining to be invoiced on a PO item?
    Thank you very much!
    Mark

    Hi,
I think EKPO-WEPOS = 'X' mentions that it is expecting G/R..Please see the data element WEPOS documentation for details...
    1) The above is the answer
For 2) and 3) You can check the table EKBE...in that you can use the field VGABE to different between invoice receipt and goods receipt..
    1     Goods Receipt
    2     Invoice Receipt
    Thanks

  • What is field symols

    hiiiii friends..
i m new to this website...
plz do help to grow in this abap field..
what is field symbols and use of this ??
diffrence between hide and get cursor in the interactive report..

    Field Symbols:
Field symbols are placeholders or symbolic names for other fields. They do not physically reserve space for a field, but point to its contents. A field symbol cam point to any data object. The data object to which a field symbol points is assigned to it after it has been declared in the program.
    Ex:-
      DATA: wa(10) VALUE '0123456789'.
    DATA: BEGIN OF line1,
             col1(3),
             col2(2),
             col3(5),
          END OF line1.
    DATA: BEGIN OF line2,
             col1(2),
             col2 LIKE sy-datum,
          END OF line2.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <f1> STRUCTURE line1 DEFAULT wa,
                   <f2> STRUCTURE line2 DEFAULT wa.
    WRITE: / <f1>-col1, <f1>-col2, <f1>-col3,
           / <f2>-col1, <f2>-col2.
    HIDE:
The HIDE statement is one of the fundamental statements for interactive reporting. You use the HIDE technique when creating a basic list. It defines the information that can be passed to subsequent detail lists.
Ex: See demo_list_read_line  Program in SE38
    GET CURSOR:
Use the statements GET CURSOR FIELD and GET CURSOR LINE to pass the output field or output line on which the cursor was positioned during the interactive event to the ABAP program.
    Ex:
      See SAPMZTST Program in SE38.

  • DSO - What key fields and data fields in dso

    Hi experts,
I need to create a dso in between the cube and 2 data sources(2lis_11_vaitm, 2lis_12_vcscl) to stage the data. My question is: what key fields and data fields to choose for the dso? is there a standard dso to copy? please explain in detail the model to set up, whether to connect both the ds's to dso and then to cube or one ds to dso and the other to the cube. more details will help.

    Check this for standard DSO:

  • What and How to pass Line Num (or ID) to a function?? (from OM Or der Line: "Line Flo

Greetings, and thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.
I'm looking at the predefined Workflow "OM Order Line" and a process in it called "Line Flow - Configuration". We're wanting to pass the Line Number (or Line ID) from the Workflow to a custom function, at a specific place in the WF that we've identified. The only attribute that looks at all relevant to pass is "AFAS_Line_ID".
I've duplicated the "Line Flow - Configuration" process, and created a test notification to display the contents of "AFAS_Line_ID" when the workflow is run, but the value of "AFAS_Line_ID" always appears to be empty/blank/null whenever I create an order the generate the lines. "AFAS_Line_ID" also appears to be empty/null when viewing the attributes behind the WF process, at any and every step in the process.
The attribute "AFAS Line ID" seems like the only thing even remotely related to what we need to pass, as all the other attributes are things like User ID, App ID, Responsibily ID, OM WF Admin, Org ID, Lead Time Rollup Org, Lead Time Rollup Config Item, Lead Time Date, Lead Time Category Struction, Line Catagory, Lead Time Attribute Reg ID, Lead Time Request ID, Line Short Descriptor, and Notification Approver.
How can we pass a reference to the current line being processed within the workflow, and specifically - WHAT should we be passing??
Thanks again for your help, preferably much sooner than later. -- Tom Buck

    Tom
I can only answer in terms of workflow technology. It is possible that there are item attributes that exist which you can use in some SQL to derive the real value you are looking for. For example, there might exist an Item Attribute with the Primary Key for the row you are looking for, and you write some SQL to get the column form that row. You can use the wf_engine.GetItemAttr APIs to get Item Attribute values for a given work item.
    Cheers

  • Disable Customer-Material Number field during VL02n before post goods issue

    Hello SAP gurus,
I would like to ask the possibility of disabling the field "Customer Material Number' during outbound delivery creation.
As we would know, this field (LIPS-KDMAT) will only be disabled after post goods issue.
Will it be possible to disable the field without having to post goods issue first?
    Thanks in advance.
    Jayson

I think you can do with SHD0 screen variant, or else you need to go with userexit to make display field.

Facebook used to but now I believe it includes it. I also read that possible facebook adds metadata to images uploaded to albums but not wall posts. Regardless, what metadata field has to be filled in?

  • What is Field Label ? and  where do we use it .

What is Field Label ? and  where do we use it .

    Hi,
You can assign text information to a data element with the field labels.
The field labels are used to display a screen field. You can copy structure components and table fields from the ABAP Dictionary to the input template when you define a screen in the Screen Painter (Get from Dict. function). You can also assign a field a field label that is derived from the data element of the field.
The text of the field label can be translated centrally with the translation tools. The text is then displayed in the input template in the user’s logon language.
Short, Medium and Long Field Labels
Keywords of different lengths for identifying screen fields. Since the space available for such texts depends on the input template, you can define the text information in three different lengths.
A maximum length must be assigned for each field label. It is the upper limit for the lengths of all translations of the given text. The maximum length of the field label therefore should be somewhat longer than the given text in the original language.
    Headers
This text is used as a column header when you output the contents of fields as a list in the Data Browser. It can also be assigned to a field in the Screen Painter.
A maximum length must also be assigned for the header. It is the upper limit for the lengths of all translations of the header. Choose the maximum length of the header to be somewhat longer than the given text in the original language. Also note that the header is often displayed above the corresponding column when preparing list output. The length of the header therefore should not exceed the length of the data element.
    Short Field Label
    Definition
    One of the following:
    - Short field label
    - Medium field label
    - Long field label
Can be assigned as prefixed text to a screen field referring to the ABAP Dictonary. The text is displayed on the screen in the logon language of the user (if the text was translated into this language).
A heading can be defined to output the field values in lists. This heading is automatically included in the list header row, in the logon language.
    Medium Field Label

    One of the following:
    - Short field label

Whenever you address a field symbol in a program, you are addressing the field that is assigned to the field symbol. After successful assignment, there is no difference in ABAP whether you reference the field symbol or the field itself. You must assign a field to each field symbol before you can address the latter in programs.
    Field Groups:
A field group is a user-defined grouping of characteristics and basic key figures from the EC-EIS or EC-BP field catalog.
    Use
The field catalog contains the fields that are used in the aspects. As the number of fields grows, the field catalog becomes very large and unclear. To simplify maintenance of the aspects, you can group fields in a field group. You can group the fields as you wish, for example, by subject area or responsibility area. A field may be included in several field groups.
When maintaining the data structure of an aspect, you can select the field group that contains the relevant characteristics and basic key figures. This way you limit the number of fields offered.
A field group combines several existing fields together under one name
    like
    FIELD-GROUPS: fg.
then you can use one insert statement to insert values in fields of field-group.
    INSERT f1 f2 ... INTO fg.
    Field symbols
If u have experience with 'C', then understand this to be similar to a pointer.
It is used to reference another variable dynamically. So this field symbol will simply point to some other variable. and this pointer can be changed at runtime.
