What is SB protocol in OSB ??

hi, what is a SB protocol anf for wich service we use.
please someone help me and if some one have an example please give me.
thank you
aymen

hi, what is a SB protocol in OSB and for wich service we use.SB transport is primarily used for invocations between different OSB instances where transaction propagation is required.
eg In an organization, two department use OSB for hosting their services. Finance services are hosted on OSB_Fin domain and Marketing services are hosted on OSB_Mar domain. If there is an requirement for transactional communication between the proxies of these two service then it would be ideal to use SB transport.
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/sbtransport/transport.html
Also can also be used for routing to local proxies (SB business service without a JNDI provider) and in that case SB transport is optimized for RMI.
Thanks
Manoj

  • What is the protocol used in this code?

    FileInputStream in = new FileInputStream("\\10.0.0.2\sharedFolder\data.txt");
by above line, we can read a file data.txt from remote computer (ip:10.0.0.2).
What is the protocol used in this input stream?
    Thanks

What is the protocol used in this input stream?I think SMB.

  • Besides CAPWAP, what other ports/protocols needs to be allowed for FlexConnect

Well the title says it for itself.
Besides CAPWAP, what other ports/protocols needs to be allowed for FlexConnect?
To clear things out, I am MOSTLY concerned between the communication of the FlexConnect AP to the WLC. Besides CAPWAP what do i need to consider? I need this list since most our clients have a firewall, and of course, i need to allow certain protocols and/or ports on the firewall so that the AP and the WLC can see each other.
    Any one knows?
As far as I know, I would allow:
    1. CAPWAP
    2. ICMP         -For reachability testing
on the firewall, to/fro the devices.
    Inputs would be helpful! ^_^
    Thanks in Advance.

    Thanks Scott,
Verifies what I need or rather request clients on what ports to allow on their firewall, since this is VPN connections, ICMP, telnet, SSH wouldn't hurt to be enabled xD
    A. CAPWAP
        PORTS:
        5246/UDP      -Control Channel
        5247/UDP      -Data Channel
    B. ICMP(Ping)                        -OPTIONAL/Reachability verification
    C. AP Remote Access          -OPTIONAL
        PORTS:
        22/TCP               -SSH
        23/TCP               -Telnet

  • File Protocol in OSB Clustered Environment

    Hi ,
I have a OSB Server in a Clustered Environment ....
Here Admin Server is in Machine1
Managed Server1 is in Machine 2
Managed Server2 is in Machine 3
so both the Managed Servers are put in a Cluster
I have Access to Machine1 Unix Box where the Admin Server is Installed ...I can get the File only in this Location and have to Read the Same from here , So i was planning to Use File Protocol for Polling the Message from Admin Server .Since OSB has option for Selecting only the Managed Server , I would request suggestions how i can Read the Data from this Admin Server by using File Protocol .

have you used "service type" as "Messaging Service" ? that should give you all the options you need

  • What trigger Line Protocol Down?

    Hi,
Recently I encountered a problem on "line protocol down" as I'd posted on 4th April.
Could anyone direct me to any webpage or sites where there's a detail explaination of how & what would trigger a line protocol down. Or these kinda data-link failure. Thanks!
    With regards

    Hi Friend,
There could be few reasons majorly physical layer issue when the line protocol goes down.
Can you please update which interface was showing line protocol down. Logical interface (SVI) on layer 3 switch, physical port on layer 2/3 switch or any physical interface on router?
If it is a physical interface on layer 2 switch it is majorly a physical layer issue or may be that particular vlan asscosiated to that port got deleted.
If it is a layer 3 logical interface showing line protocol down may be there is no vlan associated to that vlan configured on layer 2 switch port or no trunk carrying that vlan on that switch.
HTH, if yes please rate the post.

  • What type of protocol is used in local Logging Framework?

If my standalone java application uses the logging APIs of Access Server, which is located on the same server as my application, to read/write logs from/to the Server, what type of call or protocol they use for communication between them? Is it RMI or XML over HTTP as Rome Logging?

The hard disk changes with each generation of drive.. the original series were 7200rpm drives.. but as green drives became more readily avaialble and cheaper.. especially cheaper.. Apple moved to them.. The Latest TC uses WD green drives exclusively now..
Standard ordinary green WD are 5400rpm but maybe variable.
It is a slowish drive although probably just as fast as the original 500GB Seagate.
Now the important point.. there is no speed advantage in using a faster drive.. these boxes are processor-controller bound.
You can replace the slow green drive with an SSD and there is no improvement in speed.
Read the review where they did just that.
    http://www.anandtech.com/show/4577/airport-extreme-5th-gen-and-time-capsule-4th- gen-review-faster-wifi-/7
The SSD was marginally faster at writing.. the green drive did faster reads..

  • Can I buy a upgraded not a standard configuration in any apple store, not online, and how long do i have to wait for it, what is the protocol for it ?

Well thats my question, whats the protocol, i get in to the store tell them what what configuration and upgrades to ram or whatever do i need, and do i wait a couple of days to pick it up or how dose that work
    Thanx

Pleasr note that if you do order a 'built to order' MBP, avoid RAM and HDD upgrades.  You can save money by purchasing these through third party vendors and installing them yourself.  This will not void your warranty and Apple will still make a handsome profit.

  • Custom Transport Protocol in OSB

    Hi,
How custom transport protocol can be created in OSB? can any one guide me on this?
    Regards,
    Amik

    Hi BLowery
I looked through our internal servers and was not able to find any examples for J1939 for LabWindows CVI. As you mention, you can still use the XNET functions to build up your code from there. If you have the chance to open the VIs see the code in the J1939 Transport Protocol Reference Example, this could be a good start point for building up your code on CVI.
Hopefully, if someone has worked in this before, the might be able to provide suggestions or share their resources with you in this forum.

  • What communications protocols does LabView support?

A customer of mine is using LabView.  He has asked me if I can communicate to it using a PLC.  Either GE Fanuc or Allen-Bradley.  I need to know what methods of communication that LabView has available to talk to these PLC's.

The short answer is: whatever protocol you want to talk...
I have developed applications talking to AB stuff, modbus (which will cover most PLCs) and even TI's old proprietry PLC protocol. There are lots of tools for making the connection in lots of ways.
What are they specifically needing--or do they know yet?

  • closed Support for FIX protocol in OSB for Financials

    Hi,
I am trying to find out the FIX protocol support in OSB and found out the fix adapter guide in the following location:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13185_01/fmd/docs10gr3/pdf/FIX.pdf
From this document i am unable to get how this can be used in OSB for financials. If anybody has more documentation/tutorial for FIX support, please give me your insights.
    Thanks

I don't understand the issue at hand. Did you download the OSB financial edition. It comes with a design time which will allow you to create catridges for fix. Once the cartridge is configured, you have to export the cartridge for java class. these java classes are imported into OSB and invoked via java callout.
Let me know if you need more information.

  • Re: content types: what is the protocol of "file" and the content type of m

The protocol is the string that goes before the "://", so for files it would be "file".
Your guess for mpegs is correct, and you can check MIME types here.
    shmoove

Pretty much any number or a space character. Punctuation does too, in theory, but I'd advise to limit it to hyphens and underscores. Periods are OK in the middle of file names but you won't be able to start a file name with one at the Finder level since that would actually hide the file.

  • What 802.11 protocol does the iPad default to?

I know that the iPad can support 802.11 a/b/g/n. However, if an access point is broadcasting all of these protocols, which will the iPad choose?
Someone has told me that the iPad will default to 'a', which I find strange. I figured it would default to 'n'.
Are there instances where certain applications will use one protocol over another?

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
The iPad is capable of all 802.11 modes and there is nothing in the Apple tech specs that indicates it will default to anything but the highest stable mode.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/SP580
It would be interesting to know where the person that gave you the information that it defaults to the lowest mode got that information. Apple products typically do not operate that way, especially since they have been a leader in the n mode development.
