What is the Definative answer to JVC HDV 24p compatibility with FCP 5.1

I spoke with JVC yesterday and they claim that the 24p HDV codec is now supported with FCP. I am shooting a PBS piece in two weeks and wonder if it is safe to shoot in 24p HDV with the JVC HD100u. Is there a current state of the craft answer?

Which one of the following indicates the positions of the JTextField jtf and JButton jb relative to the JFrame and each other?
    Choice 1
jtf and jb are in the top-center of the Jframe; jtf is to the left of jb, 2 pixels apart.
    Choice 2
jb is in the top-right corner of the JFrame with jtf 1 pixel to the left of it.

  • What's the definitive answer ?

I have a question which I'm sure has been asked but I cant seem to find it. I have 12" PB G4, 1.5GHz. I have order iLife 08 but in reading the discussion boards I'm not sure it will work. Some say it will ,other say there is a work around for imovie. others say return
    So, here's the questions:
Will imovie be the only issue?
If so, Can I still use imovie 06?
Should I just return it ?
    What's the definitive answer ?
    Thanks

Sounds like you've seen a few posts on this, but I'll confirm what I know, which does not include a work around for iMovie'08:
I installed iLife'08 and iWork'08 on three machines last night.
iMovie'08 would not even try to install on our G-4, 1.25gHz, the line item and check box were always grayed out. iLife'08 did not bother my existing iMovie'04, or '05, and installed the other components fine.
The G-5 and Intel machines both loaded everything fine.

    What is the security answer?

We are fellow users here on these forums, we won't know what you set them to.
    From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5665 :
If you have three security questions and a rescue email address, sign in to My Apple ID and select the “Password and Security” tab to send an email to your rescue email address to reset your security questions and answers.
If you have one security question and you know your Apple ID password, sign in to My Apple ID and select the “Password and Security” tab to reset your security question.
If you have one security question, but don't remember your Apple ID password, contact Apple Support for assistance. Learn more about creating a temporary support PIN to help Apple confirm your identity when you contact Apple Support.
If you can’t reset them via the above instructions (you won't be able to add a rescue email address until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in the country where you and your iTunes account are to get the questions reset.

What are the security settings to lock down a form with fillable fields and yet allow someone with Reader to fill in the fields as will as save the form and print it?

You want to allow someone to open your document and fill out the form (in the fields you have created), but not change or edit the form, right? Here's the answer - assuming you are using Acrobat Pro and someone will be opening the PDF using at least Acrobat Reader 9 and up:
Tools > Protection > Encrypt < Encrypt with Password
Answer YES to change the security.
    A new window opens:
Do NOT select Document Open (or that will require a password to open the document.)
Select: Permissions (Check the box next to "Restrict editing and printing of the document.")
Change the following 2 settings from the drop-down box:
              Printing Allowed: Select High Resolution
Changes Allowed: Select Commenting, filling in form fields, and signing signature fields
Leave selected: "Enable text access for screen reader devices for the visually impaired"
Change Permissions Password (insert a strong password)
Leave all other settings alone in "Options"
              OK - OK
Re-enter the Permissions Password (the one you entered above)
              OK - OK
Save the PDF to apply the security [notice that (SECURED0 will appear after the document title]

  • What is the best way to zero a 'custom voltage with excitation' sensor from the front panel?

What is the best way to zero a 'custom voltage with excitation' sensor from the front panel?
    Thanks for any help

    Hi Donavan,
There are two options for zeroing with the NI-9237.  You can perform offset nulling and shunt calibration with a strain task, or if you use custom excitation you can use software compensation.
See the Bridge Balancing, Offset Nulling section in  the Load, Force, and Torque Measurements tutorial. Take a measurement before the strain is applied and subtract this from all subsequent measurements.  See the above tutorial to consider the tradeoff in accuracy between these two options.
    Hope this helps,

  • What is the best option for tethering my IPhone 4s with my iPad? (the iPad is wifi only)

What is the best option for tethering my IPhone 4s with my iPad? (the iPad is wifi only)

#1. Understand that if you switch carriers, you can NOT take your existing iPhone with you. It won't work. You will need to purchase a new one.
#2. Your only choices are Sprint and Verizon. Decide who has the better coverage in your area. Keep in mind that you will NOT be able to get simultaneous voice and 3G data on either of these, as their CDMA networks do not support it. The U.S. T-Mobile network is not supported and is not fully compatible with the iPhone as it operates on a rarely used frequency compared to the rest of the world.
#3. What in the world are "niners"? Do you mean you want to be able to keep your existing "phone numbers"? If so, that should be no problem. Most numbers in the US are now portable.
#4. Consider WHY you want to switch. If the issue is really price, you're not going to see much of a difference. A few dollars a month at best for comparable voice and data plans.

    What is the best ipad to get? Ipad 1 with 64gb or a ipad2 with 16gb?  Does a ipad2 *** with a 64gb?

    Welcome, trishkay!
King_Penguin has given you some great input, but you have not given him any feedback.  Perhaps you are waiting for more suggestions from others?  Here are my thoughts on your question:

Wait for iPad 3 and buy as many "gb" as you can afford.

What you can afford with enough room for the music, pictures, videos, and apps you must have.

    Hi,
Match Payroll Journal (PC00_M40_LJN - Payroll Journal ) with Wage type Report.(PC00_M99_CWTR - Wage Type Reporter )
Finally verify the Posting amount (PCP0) with Payroll Journal....(PC00_M40_LJN - Payroll Journal )
    This should solve your issue...

It won't matter. You are not allowed to use the Indian iTunes Store from the UAE or anywhere else outside of India.
The Service is available to you only in India. You agree not to use or attempt to use the Service from outside this location. iTunes may use technologies to verify your compliance.
Since you are in the UAE, you can only use the UAE iTunes Store. You will need either to open up a new account in the UAE iTunes Store, or change the country of your existing account to the UAE.

tell us what your research shows and we'll try to
validate it. I am simulating Oracle ASM on a PC and I want to try
DataGuard on it now. So I am trying to create DataGuard
on an ASM system. The purpose is only learning and test. That's telling us how you are researching, not what you have observed.
Your research could have included looking at the documetation, and you might have found http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14239/scenarios.htm#sthref1642
which discusses exactly what you are looking for.
