    Benje001,
    Right-click on the CWAI control on your form. Choose Properties. The first tab is the Channels tab. After you choose your device from the drop down box on the right, you can type in the Channels box which channel you want to use.
    If you want to see a CWAI control that is already configured, all of the shipping examples will have this already done.
    Also, if you have questions about any item on the CWAI (or any other NI ActiveX control) you can click the ? icon in the right corner of the properties page and then click on the item in the dialog that you need help with. This "What's this" help will describe that particular control on the dialog.
    Hope that helps!

  • What are the client classes

    hi all
    i am new to EJB's. i am using weblogic6.0 . i am doing jar and deploying it. but my doubt is with the client program. why should i make the home and remote classes available to my client program(jsp page).
    what all the classes we have to make available to client and why should we do this?
    thanks
    Paruchuri

    HI,
    The Client would need the Home and Remote classes.The Home is needed so that you can look up a remote object through JDNI javax.naming and through that you create a bean.Look more into the life cycle of a bean when the home's create() is called for more details.
    The Home then returns to the client the Remote Reference to an EJB Object in the server. This is the Remote Stub which the client would then use to invoke the business methods on the bean. Since the client does not directly work on the bean by itself.
    Hope this helps.

  • The class-default class map

    According to Cisco dumentation (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa81/config/guide/mpc.html)
    , the ASA is equipped with two default class-maps
    class-map inspection_default
    match default-inspection-traffic
    and
    class-map class-default
    match any
    The first makes perfect sense, but what is the class-default used for? Cisco says
    "This class map appears at the end of all Layer 3/4 policy maps and essentially tells the adaptive security appliance to not perform any actions on all other traffic. You can use the class-default class map if desired, rather than making your own
    match any class map. In fact, some features are only available for class-default."
    But I see stuff like this:
    policy-map MyPolicy
    class class-default
      inspect tfp MyFTPpolicy
    Obviously it is being used here to act on traffic! So I am confused.
    I also noticed that when you upgrade from 8.2 to 8.4, all default class-maps are removed from the configuration: you have to re-create everything (strange)

    Hello Collin,
    This is Mike. I dont think it is well documented. Basically it is just a class map (that does not appear on the configuration unless an action is specified) that will match all traffic passing through the ASA firewall. Some features like NSEL (Netflow) and Traffic shaping are only allowed to use this kind of class maps because they dont support any other match command.
    The one that you currently have (and God I hope its not applied)  will look for tftp traffic on every IP packet passing across the ASA.
    This specific type of policy you have there can only be applied on the interface (as it is not a layer 7 inspection policy) you can check if it is applied or not by running the show "run service-policy command"

  • Is there a difference from the  class field and getClass()  ?

    To get the url of an image, I have developed the code below which works fine. In fact I, used a few examples that I got from this forum without understanding what I'm doing.
    public java.net.URL getURL(String name)
        String n = name.trim();
           if (n == null || n.equals(""))  return null;
        java.net.URL url=null;
        try
             return TestImage.class.getResource("/" + n);
       catch (Exception ex)
              System.out.println(ex.toString());
              return null;
    }However, now to really understand what all this means, I'd like to know what is the class field. For example when I'm writting :
          TestImage.class.getResource("/" + n);what "class" refers to ? Is it the same as
          TestImage.getClass().getResource("/" + n);I'm wondering what is the class field because by looking for the javadoc for Class, or Object, I haven't found any such field name. Where is it documented ? Instead could I have written :
           Class.getResource("/" + n);

    This expression is true :
    String.class.equals("A string".getClass())So basically it is the same, except that getClass() is not static.
    Hope this helps,

  • What is correct row bean property class?

    I'm trying to extend the WL9.0 administrative console
              and I'm tryign to use the templates provided for viewing
              table form content there. The problem is as follows:
              I define a JSP that shows a table, each row showing data
              from my own bean class 'SponsorListItem'
              --->JSP snippet
              <%@ page language="java" %>
              <%@ taglib uri="/WEB-INF/console-html.tld" prefix="wl" %>

              <fmt:setBundle basename="mgmtconsole" var="current_bundle" scope="page"/>
              <beehive-template:template templatePage="/layouts/tableBaseLayout_netui.jsp">
              <beehive-template:section name="configAreaIntroduction">
              <fmt:message key="mysoftware.mgmtconsole.sponsorlist.title" bundle="${current_bundle}"/>
              </beehive-template:section>
              <beehive-template:section name="table">
              <wl:table
              name="sponsorListForm"
              property="sponsors"
              showcheckboxes="false"
              captionEnabled="true"
              controlsEnabled="false"
              bundle="mgmtconsole"
              formEnabled="true"
              showheadings="true"
              singlechange="false">
              <wl:caption>
              <fmt:message key="mysoftware.mgmtconsole.sponsorlist.caption" bundle="${current_bundle}"/>
              </wl:caption>
              <wl:column property="sponsorName" label="mysoftware.mgmtconsole.sponsorlist.sponsorname"/>
              <wl:column property="sponsorCode" label="mysoftware.mgmtconsole.sponsorlist.sponsorcode"/>
              <wl:column property="sponsorId" label="mysoftware.mgmtconsole.sponsorlist.sponsorid"/>
              </wl:table>
              </beehive-template:section>
              </beehive-template:template>
              -->end clip
              My form bean (SponsorListForm) has function
              --->clip
              public SponsorListItem[] getSponsors() { return fArray; }
              <--end clip
              My row bean (SponsorListItem) has the following getters
              -->clip
              public String getSponsorName() { return fName; }
              public String getSponsorCode() { return fCode; }
              public String getSponsorId() { return fId; }
              public String getHandle() { return fId; }
              <--end clip
              So far so good, when I try to view the JSP in the
              mgmt console snippet I get an error:
              java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String
              at com.bea.console.taglib.html.renderer.DefaultCellRenderer.doRender(DefaultCellRenderer.java:36)
              at com.bea.console.taglib.html.TableTag.printTableRows(TableTag.java:749)
              at com.bea.console.taglib.html.TableTag.printTable(TableTag.java:594)
              at com.bea.console.taglib.html.TableTag.doEndTag(TableTag.java:359)
              at jsp_servlet._mgmtconsole._jsp.__mgmtconsole2._jspService(__mgmtconsole2.java:337)
              at weblogic.servlet.jsp.JspBase.service(JspBase.java:34)
              at weblogic.servlet.internal.StubSecurityHelper$ServletServiceAction.run(StubSecurityHelper.java:214)
              at weblogic.servlet.internal.StubSecurityHelper.invokeServlet(StubSecurityHelper.java:120)
              If I set the getters from SponsorListItem to return null I do not get the error - instead I get the correct number of rows with empty content (naturally as I did not give any content, just nulls). So it seems that the cell renderer assumes that the property is of some class other than java.lang.String but I cannot find from the documentation what is the class it wants. If I had the source of the renderer I could go and have a look at there but naturally I do not have that...
              So, what is the correct class to return for a row bean property?

    It appears the assumed class for getHandle() in the row item bean is com.bea.console.handles.Handle which can be found from the console.jar in the server/lib/consoleapp/webapp/WEB-INF/lib.
              If I subclass this item and then make my row bean return instances of these for the getHandle() then I do not get class cast exception.

  • Import the classes in the package java.util

    I haven't taken a class in two years so I have ideas but am unsure of myself, and I most likely am way off base, but is this how you import the classes in the package java.util
    import java.util.*;
    I would appreciate anyone's help. I have a lot of questions.

    My assignment is below so that you will know exactly what I am asking. I am being asked to create an instance of LinkedList. I know that this is a part of the java.util. So when you create an instance of LinkedList would that be similar to instance variables? or am I misunderstanding something. I have several ideas, so I will start with the first one.

    I really appreciate your taking the time to answer my questions to help me to rebuild my confidence in doing this.

  • What's the purpose of javafx.util.Pair K, V ?

    Hi,
    what's the purpose of javafx.util.Pair<K, V> if we can just use java.util.AbstractMap.SimpleEntry<K, V> for the same use cases?

    You are seriously asking why you should use a proper API-class over a static inner class of some random collection class?

  • What is the proper and best way to destroy a java.util.List or Array for GC

    Hi,
    If I have a java.util.List of objects lets say:
    List<File> files = new ArrayList();The List contains 1000 file objects. When my class finishes, is it enough to do
    files = null;to make GC able to release it from memory?
    Cause it seems like I can't do the following:
    for(int i = 0; i < extracted_files.size(); i++){
                extracted_files.get(i) = null;
    }Or should I use this one:
    files.clear()What is the proper and best way to do this in order to avoid memory leaks? How about normal Arrays like File[]?

    But what if the List is a class variable running in a Web Service for like months without terminating?You mean if the List variable is a member variable of a long-lived object? Then presumably the list needs to live as long as the object does. In the unlikely scenario that the object needs to live on but its list member variable does not, then yes, setting the member to null will be needed to make the list eligible for GC. But I highly doubt this is your situation, and if it is, you probably have a design flaw.
    And if the list is referenced only by a local variable, then, as I already said, when the method ends, the variable goes out of scope, and the List is eligible for GC.
    Now, a slightly different situation is when the List needs to live a long time, and at some point during its life, you're done using some object that it refers to. In that situation, simply remove the element from the list (or set the element to null if it's an array rather than a list), and then if it's not referenced anywhere else, it can be GCed.
    How about Arrays like File[]? Do I need to iterate through the array and null all the objects or is it enough to just null the Array?YOU. DON'T. NEED. TO. HELP. GC. You don't need to set the elements to null, and you most likely don't even need to set the array variable to null.
    Also note that only references can be null, not objects.

      Hi,
    May I know what is the -k option for of the Ping utility in OS X? It doesn't seem to be a ICMP protocol standards-relates.
    Below is the description of this option copied from Yosemite.
    -k trafficlass
                 Specifies the traffic class to use for sending ICMP packets.  The
                 supported traffic classes are BK_SYS, BK, BE, RD, OAM, AV, RV,

  • What's the naming convention for Helper Class?

    Hi Experts,
    What's the naming convention for helper class?
    cl_util? or cl_heper?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi.,
    Normally in JAVA the naming convention for Helper Class is <EventID>Util.java. The Naming convention for helper class must start with EventID.
    here Event ID is  the event Name , Util.java is the helper class for java.
    I believe the same will be followed in ABAP OO too..
    here the helper class is cl_uitl.,
    so <EventID><ABAP hepler class> is the naming convention.
    wait for experts reply..,
    hope this helps u.,
