What is use of INCLUDE in command line statement?

Pls. explain following line. How this works and what is expected output for this line.
/: INCLUDE &VBDKA-ZTERM& OBJECT TEXT ID SDTP PARAGRAPH L
Thanks
Harshada

hi Harshada,
INCLUDE: Include other texts
With the command INCLUDE, you can include the contents of another text into your text. The text to be included exists separately from yours and is only copied at the time of the output formatting.With the INCLUDE command, you always get the most current version of the required text, since this is only read and inserted during the output formatting.
Syntax:
/: INCLUDE name [OBJECT o] [ID i] [LANGUAGE l] [PARAGRAPH p] [NEW-PARAGRAPH np]
The name of the text to be inserted must be specified and can have up to a maximum of 70 characters. If the text name contains blanks, then you must put it in quotes as a literal. It can also be specified via a symbol. All further parameters of the INCLUDE command are optional. If they are missing, SAPscript uses default values for them which are based on the respective call environment.
Examples:
/: INCLUDE MYTEXT
The text MYTEXT is included in the language of the calling text.
/: INCLUDE MYTEXT LANGUAGE ‘E’ PARAGRAPH ‘A1’
The text with the name MYTEXT and the language E is included, regardless of in which language the calling text is created. The paragraph format A1 is valid as the standard paragraph for this call.
Optional specifications:
•LANGUAGE If a language is not specified, the language of the calling text or the layout set is set for the text to be included. If a language is specified, the text is always loaded in this language, regardless of the language of the calling text.
•PARAGRAPH The text to be included is formatted with the style allocated to it. With this parameter, the standard paragraph of this style can be redefined for the current call. All * paragraphs of the inserted text are then formatted with the paragraph specified here.
•NEW-PARAGRAPH The first line of the included text has this format flag, provided it is not a command or comment line. If the optional entry PARAGRAPH (see above) is empty, all * paragraphs of the included text are formatted with the paragraph np specified with
NEW-PARAGRAPH.
•OBJECT To specify a text completely, you must make further specifications regarding the text object. There are different rules and restrictions for this which depend on the object type of the calling text: All texts can be included in a layout set. If no object is entered here, TEXT is used (standard texts).With a documentation text (object DOKU), you can only include documentation texts. This object is assumed even if no object is specified in this environment. Only hypertext or documentation text can be included into a hypertext (object DSYS). If the OBJECT specification is missing, DSYS is set as a default value.
Only standard text (object TEXT), documentation text or hypertext can be included in any other type of text. The default object is TEXT if nothing is entered.
•ID The text ID, which allows further text types within an object, is a further part of the text key. If the ID is not entered, the default Include ID from table TTXID is used for the calling text. If the specification is not in this table, the text ID of the calling text is used.
The ID together with the object are now the basis of a further consistency check:
•All text IDs are allowed for a layout set.
•Only documentation texts with the text IDs TX (general texts), UO (authorization objects), and documentation texts which have the same text ID as the calling documentation text may be included in documentation texts.
•All DSYS texts may be included in DSYS texts, regardless of their ID. Documentation texts to be inserted may only have IDs TX and UO.
•Standard texts with all the allowed text IDs, DSYS texts with all IDs, and documentation texts with Ids TX and UO may be included in the other types of texts.

Santosh

    Hi Majid,
              It's a function module to read the texts from a text file. Generally it is used to retrieve the long texts.
    The function module reads the desired text from the text file, the text memory, or the archive. You must fully specify the text using OBJECT, NAME, ID, and LANGUAGE. An internal work area can hold only one text; therefore, generic specifications are not allowed with these options.
    After successful reading, the system places header information and text lines into the work areas specified with HEADER and LINES.
    If a reference text is used, SAPscript automatically processes the reference chain and provides the text lines found in the text at the end of the chain. If an error occurs, the system leaves the function module and triggers the exception REFERENCE_CHECK.

    Reference field: THEAD-TDSPRAS
    ARCHIVE_HANDLE
    If you want to read the text from the archive, you must enter a handle here. The system uses it to access the archive. You can create the handle using the function module ACHIVE_OPEN_FOR_READ.

    The parameter LANGUAGE contains a language key that does not exist in table T002.
    NAME
    The parameter NAME contains the name of a text module that does not correspond to the SAPscript conventions.

    NOT_FOUND
    The system did not find the specified text module.
    REFERENCE_CHECK
    The text module to be read has no text lines of its own but refers to the lines of another text module. This reference chain can include several levels. For the current text, the chain is interrupted, that is, one of the text modules referred to in the chain no longer exists.
    WRONG_ACCESS_ TO_ARCHIVE
    The exception WRONG_ACCESS_TO_ARCHIVE is triggered if an archive is accessed using an incorrect or non-existing archive handle or an incorrect mode (that is, read if the archive is open for writing or vice versa).

  • Compare two pdf files using adobe acrobat through command line

    Does anyone know how to compare two pdf files using adobe acrobat through command line. I want to do this via command line because we want to compare hundreds of file every day through some automated windows tasks.
    If command line option is not available in acrobat, then is it feasible to make use of acrobat javascript API to do this task?
    Any kind of help will be greatly.

    Command-line: Not possible.
    JavaScript: Possible, but very limited. Basically the only thing you can do is simulate clicking the Compare Documents button. The rest has to be done manually.
    However, it *might* be possible to automate this process a bit more using a plugin. Ask over at the Acrobat SDK forum for more information...

  • Various problems using extension manager with command line

    Hello all,
    We are installing our plugins  to CS4/5/5.1 version of Adobe Photoshop as part of our installer and  allow the users to select specific versions of Photoshop to install the  panel for. There are a few old problems that I wanted to rant about for  quite some while and now with a whole bunch of problems that the 5.1  update introduced I feel I just have to voice them. I will limit it to  PC only as it seems to be the most troubled platform
    #1 As we cannot install our plugin only by using the  Extension Manager (simply because it cannot handle all we've to do upon  the installation) we have to run commands from within the our installer,  non-interactively, of course.
    The interface to command line installation is xmancommand.exe (or "Extension manager (Version). exe" - not sure whether it makes any difference. ). Now the first question is how to find this executable on   the target machine, from an installer. Users may specify different  locations to install the Creative Suite and it certainly does NOT have  to  be  C:\Program Files\...(or %PRGRAMFILES% in general). ATM we are using an odd place in the registry  to to find the path to the most recent Extension Manager but first its  sometimes overwritten by another installation and in any case it  only shows ONE version of the extension manager which of course cannot  handle other versions (see #2)
    #2 Why the most recent version of  Adobe Extension Manager (5.5) cannot install the extension for 5.0?  Well, install it actually does, however its disabled for CS5 and it  seems that the only way to enable it on this platform is to find  previous (CS5) extension manager and to enable it. Oh, actually no - it  doesn't work! The only way that I found here working is to find CS5  extension manager first, install the extension there and then use CS5.5  extension manager to enable it. Why do I need both utilities to manage  my extensions?!
    #3 The program is severely lacking in  documentation AND it doesn't produce reasonable output messages, so  determining what it can actually support is a puzzle. For example, why  "Dreamweaver CS5" is a correct product name and "Photoshop CS5" is not (don't different teams talk to each other)? Ok, lets forget the consistency, but how do I make the utility output the list of all products it supports, in their  magic token form that it will actually be understood if passed in in the  command line? By trial and error? This menthod btw is also extremely painful: nany times when  specifying wrong parameters the program doesn't provide any output and just shrugs "whatever, go figure it yourself"...
    #4 Why the only way to enable/disable an extension in Photoshop  seems to be using magic "productfamily" keyword that is not even listed  on Adobe's help page for command line options (here:  http://help.adobe.com/en_US/extensionmanager/cs/using/WSB4845EDD-14E5-476a-B749-FF328830D1 4F.html).?  E.g. "xmancommand.exe" -suppress -remove  product=Photoshop  extension=OurExtension" will ALWAYS fail with a lovely "'Photoshop is  not supported by Extension Manager CS5.5." error; I've tried "PhotoshopCS5", "Photoshop CS5", "PhotoshopCS5.1"  "Photoshop CS5.1", "Photoshop-12" (mentioned in examples section in  http://help.adobe.com/en_US/extensionmanager/cs/using/packaging_extension.pdf )  and a whole bunch of other permutations - none  seem to work (see #3). Magic "productfamily=Photoshop" does work. But  then it only aims the current version ("CS5.1") and I need it to work  for CS5 (I'm not even mentioning CS4...."). Would there be any suggestions?
    Really, the question is, how do we, third-party developers, are  supposed to interact with the command-line utility without knowing where  it is, what product names is capable to work with and without being  able to target specific platforms (i86 vs x64 anyone  (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/672537)? CS5 vs CS5.1 (above)?). I don't  know what your test cases are for the command line tool (if any!), but this is simply insane, folks, simply  insane.

    I am sorry for the poor documentation of Extension Manager which causes you so much trouble.
    1. You can use BridgeTalk API to ask specific version of Extension Manager to do something. There is sample in packaging_extension.pdf about this. You don't need to know the installation path of Extension Manager. One thing to note is that the value of bt.target is version specific, i.e. "exman-5.0", "exman-5.5" send this message to different version of Extension Manager, so you can change this value to install/enable/disable/remove extensions using different version of Extension Manager. More detailed documentation of BridgeTalk can be found by clicking "Help" menu then clicking "Javascript Tools Guide CS5" in "Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit CS5".
    2. Specific version of Extension Manager only manage extensions for corresponding version of product. You should use Extension Manager CS5 to install extensions for Photoshop CS5. The reason that the extension you installed for Photoshop CS5.1 using Extension Manager CS5.5 is displayed for Photoshop CS5 in Extension Manager CS5 is that two versions of Photoshop specified the same directory for Extension Manager to manage extensions. This is a defect and will cause some problems if multiple versions of Photoshop co-existed in one machine. But "to find  previous (CS5) extension manager and to enable it" should work for you, I guess you use command line to enable it and specify wrong product name (see #3) so that it doesn't work.
    3. When using command line, you should specify "product" attribute with the name displayed at the left panel of Extension Manager. So "Photoshop CS5 32" is correct. Remember to enclose it with double quote because of existence of space character.
    4. As above mentioned, use display name of Photoshop, and call proper version of Extension Manager by BridgeTalk.

  • Connect to Oracle using DAC Client in command line

    Hi,
    I'm trying to connect to Oracle DB using DAC client. I have configured a connection and tested, it works. When I use the connection to connect to the DB, its giving me an error
    "unknown error, please start in command line mode and see the stack error"
    How do I start in command line mode? Could anyone provide more information on this.
    Thanks in advance,
    RK

    In oracle db, you can create 3 different types of users:
    (1) create user x identified by pwd.
    In this case the user x will connect to the db using username/password, in this example x/pwd
    (2)create user ex identified externally;
    In this case the user ex will connect to the db using "/" and the sqlnet.authentication_services parameter value in the client and server sqlnet.ora will be used in determining the oracle external authentication adapter to use. For oracle windows client/db server, this is by default set to NTS. NTS is the oracle windows authentication adapter.
    (3)create user gx identified globally as 'CN=gx,O=Oracle';
    In this case also the user gx will connect to the db using "/" and oracle ssl will be used to authenticate this user to the db.
    It would not be possible to "Create user x identified externally" and connect with x/pwd.
    Please clarify.
    To help you in isolating the problem, I will need the following info:
    (1)
    what are you connecting as to execute your plsql. Are you using sqlplus ? How are you connecting (connect "/ as sysdba", connect "/", connect x/pwd) ?
    (2)
    what create user statement did you use to create the user
    (3)
    is odp.net and the db server on the same machine.
    (4)
    did you run your plsql from the same machine as the db server.
    (5)
    if odp.net is on a different machine than db server, did you try connecting from odp.net machine to db server, using sqlplus ?

  • Unable to build and run Javapetstore using  Sun SDK from Command Line

    Hi,
    Here is a problem I?ve come across building and running JavaPetstore from Command Line using Ant.
    It shows that Build is successful but there is an error message in very beginning:
    ?Unable to locate tools. jar. Expected to find it in C:\Program Files\Java\jre 1.5.0_11\lib\tools.jar?
    But there is no such a file in jre-1.5.0_11 or previous versions.
    The only place where the file with such name can be found is jdk\lib.
    All attempts to run end up with:
    ? BUILD FAILED.
    C:\<PETSTORE_HOME>\bp-project\command-line-ant-task.xml:77;unable to find javac compiler;com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the class path.
    Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to JDK."
    Directories C:\Sun\SDK\bin and C:\Sun\SDK\jdk are in the PATH.
    JAVA_HOME as a System variable is set up to C:\Sun\SDK\jdk.
    Building and running other applications like a BluePrints or Samples bring to same result.
    I will post more information if needed.
    Thank you in advance for help.

    If you are using Windows XP:
    1. Right click on my computer
    2. Select Properties from the popup dialog
    3. Click on the "Advanced" tab
    4. Click the button towards the bottom that says "Environment Variables"
    5. In the dialog that pops up, look in both the User variables and the System variables for a variable named CLASSPATH
    6. If its not there, you need to create it. If you want to make it available to all users of your computer, create it as a System variable. If you only want it to be available to the current user, add it as a User variable.
    7. If it is there, or if you just created it, it needs to contain the following values: the current directory (symbolically abbreviated as a period: "."), any class libraries you want to be available to the java compiler (javac) or the java interpreter (java). By default, jre/lib and jre/lib/ext are searched for classes, so you don't need to include anything located in one of these folders on the classpath.

  • Using DHCP via the command line

    Hi,
    I'm using a PowerMac G4 with OSX 10.4 as a home server machine. This weekend, my ISP did some kind of network change and now this computer isn't able to connect to the internet. I use DHCP to connect, and on two other Macs I was able to go to network settings, turn off DHCP and turn it back on - and they can connect just fine now.
    However, I have no display connected to the PowerMac and thus I can only connect to it locally over SSH and VNC. This means that if I were to turn off DHCP, my connection to the machine would die and I wouldn't be able to do anything.
    So now I'm looking for a way to make a script that will turn off DHCP and re-enable it. The problem is that I have no idea what the GUI preferences actually do. Are there command-line commands I can use for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Cosmo

    You could use the ifconfig command to bring the network interface down and back up again.
    sudo ifconfig en0 down
    sudo ifconfig en0 up
    however this will of course break your connection if remotely administrating the mac.
    So you would be best writing a script that would carry out both commands.

  • Migration (BOXI3.1 - BI4.1) using UMT via Linux command lines

    I have BO4.1 hosted on linux. I am currently doing migration from BOXI3.1 to BI4.1 and need to use linux scripts to call upgrade mgmt tool.
    This is possible only for complete migration.
    However I wanted to know:
    If it is possible to do incremental migration as well using command lines.
    What is the impact on Security Model in case of Complete Migration using command lines. Is it recommended?
    Is it possible to do incremental migration with command lines keeping BIAR file as source?

    Hi,
    Dennis is right. You can install the UMT only on Windows. With this variant you can also use an increment Upgrade even if your Destination BI 4.1 System is on LINUX.
    Doing a Full Stack installation will do the trick. You can also go ahead and install the UMT only but you need additional components (as desribed from Denis). For more info check:

    And as always, when i read Upgrade Threads, i recommend you follow the Best Pactices for the UMT...makes live easier:

    rem Filename: oscmd.sql
    rem Purpose: Execute operating system commands from PL/SQL
    rem Notes: Specify full paths to commands, for example,
    rem specify /usr/bin/ps instead of ps.
    rem Date: 09-Apr-2005
    rem Author: Frank Naude, Oracle FAQ
    rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    rem Grant Java Access to user USER1
    rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    conn sys/password@database as sysdba
    EXEC dbms_java.grant_permission('USER1', 'SYS:java.lang.RuntimePermission', 'writeFileDescriptor', '');
    EXEC dbms_java.grant_permission('USER1', 'SYS:java.lang.RuntimePermission', 'readFileDescriptor', '');
    EXEC dbms_java.grant_permission('USER1', 'SYS:java.io.FilePermission', '/bin/sh', 'execute');
    EXEC dbms_java.grant_permission( 'USER1', 'SYS:java.io.FilePermission','C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe', 'execute' );
    rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    rem Create Java class to execute OS commands...
    rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    conn user1/password@database
    CREATE OR REPLACE AND COMPILE JAVA SOURCE NAMED "Host" AS

    public class Host {
    public static void executeCommand(String command) {
    try {
    String[] finalCommand;
    finalCommand = new String[4];
    finalCommand[0] = "C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\cmd.exe";
    finalCommand[1] = "/y";
    finalCommand[2] = "/c";
    finalCommand[3] = command;
    // Execute the command...
    final Process pr = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(finalCommand);
    // Capture output from STDOUT...
    BufferedReader br_in = null;
    try {
    br_in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(pr.getInputStream()));
    String buff = null;
    while ((buff = br_in.readLine()) != null) {
    System.out.println("stdout: " + buff);
    try {Thread.sleep(100); } catch(Exception e) {}
    br_in.close();
    } catch (IOException ioe) {
    System.out.println("Error printing process output.");
    ioe.printStackTrace();
    } finally {
    try {
    br_in.close();
    } catch (Exception ex) {}
    // Capture output from STDERR...
    BufferedReader br_err = null;
    try {
    br_err = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(pr.getErrorStream()));
    String buff = null;
    while ((buff = br_err.readLine()) != null) {
    System.out.println("stderr: " + buff);
    try {Thread.sleep(100); } catch(Exception e) {}
    br_err.close();
    } catch (IOException ioe) {
    System.out.println("Error printing execution errors.");
    ioe.printStackTrace();
    } finally {
    try {
    br_err.close();
    } catch (Exception ex) {}
    catch (Exception ex) {
    System.out.println(ex.getLocalizedMessage());
    show errors
    rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    rem Publish the Java call to PL/SQL...
    rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE host(p_command IN VARCHAR2)
    AS LANGUAGE JAVA
    NAME 'Host.executeCommand (java.lang.String)';
    show errors
    rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    rem Let's test it
    rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    exec host('notepad');
    The trouble is although this script works great for commands that can be run is the 'background' as SYSTEM is I want to pass a command to actually open something e.g. notepad in the above example nothing seems to happen. As far as I can make out the command line is running but not as %username% so it's not running notepad.exe in the foreground.
    I'm happy to clarify more if necessary.
    Can anyone help with this?
    Cheers
    Yog

    Bill,
    Thank you for the quick answer. I believe you are right in your assumption.
    I have been searching but found nothing so far.
    I need to be able to run this line "wmic
    Product where name='XXX XXX XXX' call uninstall"
    in an elevated command prompt to uninstall the program.
    I was looking for a VB script or PowerShell to execute it remotely on non domain roaming PCs.
    Th3e command can be run remotely against stand-alone workstations but you must supply credentials.  Post in the platform forum for you version of Windows for help in using the WMIC utility.  WMIC /? will give you all of the command options fro
    remote execution.  UAC only affects local systems.  You cannot use WMIC to remote back to the local system. WMIC does not allow impersonation to the local system.
    Most installers will not automatically allow an unattended uninstall.  If there is any dialog at all the uninstall will fail and can hang.
    I recommend contacting the vendor of the application to get more information.
    In all cases you cannot bypass UAC as Bill has noted.  I am only noting that, sometimes, in a workgroup, you can use WMIC to remotely uninstall an application.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • [Forum FAQ]How to use Azure Cross-Platform Command-Line interface in Mac OS

    1. Download the installer on Microsoft Azure website.
    Figure 1.
    2. Open the DMG file and install the following package.
    Figure 2.
    3. Open Terminal (Mac OS build-in), type “azure login” and enter your azure account to login.
    (Note: you can login only via a Microsoft organizational account or service principal.) We used a Microsoft account to connect. (Figure 3)
    Figure 3.
    After that, we can use the commands to manager Azure instances and services. You can type “azure help” to list all the available commands.
    Figure 4.
    If you want to view the detailed information for a specific command, you can type “azure help xxx”. For example, we can run “azure
    help vm” to list all the commands for managing Azure Virtual Machines.
    Figure 5.
    In the figure below, we used the “vm create” command to create a new virtual Machine (testmachine002) in a new cloud service (testmachine003)
    and virtual network (vnet1).
    Figure 6.
    To obtain the image name, you can type “azure vm image list”:
    Figure 7.
    After the “vm create” command executed, we can find that the Virtual Machine(testmachine002) is created in Azure management portal.
    Figure 8.

  • Acrobat 9 - Use Optimize PDF from command-line or batch

    one can use the functionality optimize pdf from the command line or a batch script?
    thanks

    I found the solution. With the batch sequence i create the pdf optimization, and use the plug-in Autobatchtool (from the partner evermap) to run this batch from command-line. Thanks for you help

  • Routers for use with Infinity that show line stats...

    Please can someone recommend a router that’s reasonably priced that works well with infinity and shows the line stats?

    The Draytek Vigor 2750 VDSL router will show you line stats. It replaces both the white Openreach VDSL modem and the BT Home Hub router so would mean you are left with just one box. They're not particularly cheap though (~£160).
    Alternatively there is a way to hack the Openreach modem so you can get into it's web interface to view the line stats but I won't post how to do that on here because I'm not sure if that breaks the T&Cs of this forum. Google is your friend :-)
