What's the intention of selector property in workflow

Hi All,
I find there is a procedure:PO_REQAPPROVAL_LAUNCH.POREQ_SELECTOR in selector property of POREQCHA.
What's this selector used to ? when will this funtion be invoked?
thx,
edmund.

A selector function is a PL/SQL procedure that automatically identifies the specific process definition to execute when a workflow is initiated for a
particular item type but no process name is provided. Oracle Workflow also supports using a callback function to reset or test item type context information. You can define one PL/SQL procedure that includes both selector and callback functionality by following a standard API.
Oracle Workflow can call the selector/callback function with the following commands:
RUN - to select the appropriate process to start when a process is not mentioned.
SET_CTX - to establish any context information for an item type and item key
combination that a function activity in the item type needs in order to execute.
TEST_CTX - to determine if the current item type context information is correct
before executing a function, such as during background processing.
Please check the Workflow Dev Guide for more information on the Standard API for a Selector Function.
Thanks,
Dilbagh

  • What is the intention of the buttons next to my playlist name?

When I'm playing a playlist or genre, there are buttons that look like "play" and "shuffle" next to the name of the playlist or genre. They seem to skip to the next song. Is that what they're supposed to do? It'd be nice if there were tooltips to tell me what the intention is. Still not terribly intuitive, but better than before I suppose.

You'd think they would be the same, wouldn't you? Here's what I think I've discovered, though:
    - the Play button next to the playlist will start a track playing, and if clicked again sends the track back to the beginning rather than stopping the track. I'm not quite sure the purpose of that would be.
    - the Shuffle button next to the playlist picks a random track from the list everytime it's clicked. It allows you to manually shuffle the playback without setting the list to always shuffle.
    - the Shuffle button up in the progress window toggles Shuffle on and off for the playlist overall so that any time the list it played it shuffles. How this works if a track belongs to multiple playlists I haven't yet figured out, but it seems that unlike earlier versions of iTunes, Shuffle cannot be set for individual playlist; it seems to be all or none, though I'm not certain.
    Definitely not intuitive.
    Regards.

  • What is the significance of Singleton Property?

    Hello guys!!!
Can some one elobarate the significance of Singleton Property?
Also, please suggest me a scenario, where we use Singleton Property.

    HI,
click on ur node and on the singleton proprty click F1. u will get the full detail.
The property "Singleton" specifies the number of instances that can exist in a dependent context node (that does not belong directly to the root node).
If the property "Singleton" is set, exactly one instance of the node exists. Its content changes when the lead selection of the parent node changes.
If the property "Singleton" is not set, one instance per parent instance exists. The content of the instances does not change when the lead selection of the parent changes.

  • What are the details of improved LR/CS4 workflow?

    Hi
I'm looking at Adobe's CS4 site listing improved LR workflow and integration with CS4. They mention merge to panorama, HDR etc as being improved. Given I can do this already in CS3/LR2.0 what are the improvements?
    Regards
    Michael

    >That is an improvement as it is the little things that can become tedious when in a rush to finish a job.
It was not a bug. CS3 had already shipped before Lightroom ever had the ability to communicate directly with Photoshop. When the CS3 10.0.1 update was released it included some of the necessary communication code (BridgeTalk), but not all. The links for features such as: Open as Smart Objects, Open in Layers, Merge to HDR and Merge to Panorama were not included in 10.0.1 because it predated Lr2.x. It's only with the introduction of CS4 that all of the necessary links and code became available.

  • What is the minimum delay on Time based workflows?

    Hi,

Thanks for you very quick reply. Here is my full problem. I want to get a £10 Everything Pack including new SIM card (although another page seems to say £12.99 or something similar) . I am in Australia about to walk for three weeks in the UK. I arrive in Bristol on Saturday afternoon and go straight to our B&B in Chepstow. With a quick internet search I can find no EE dealer in Chepstow. Through your website I was hoping to order an EE SIM and have it delivered to the B&B for me to collect by 7th August. However my identification is needed. Can I email my photocopied ID (passport or driver’s licence) to EE and have someone sign for the SIM at the B&B? Also, can I start an account by phone as I only have an Australian credit card? I do not anticipate needing to top up the account.
I can find no email contact on your website for such direct enquiries.
Alternatively, can I get an EE card somewhere in Bristol on a Saturday afternoon? If so, where?

  • 11R2 What is the best/easy way to monitor workflows?

    Hello,
I have installed the OWF in the database and we can use it from OWB. We can follow the executions from OWB designer or browser.
I think there are other options I have read about:
         - EM, but I cannot find a link pointing at WorkFlow.
         - Workflow Monitor (installing http server 10.2 and configuring a DAD...), but I wouldn't like to install a 10.2 http server in a new database server unless Workflow Monitor brings something worthwhile.
How do you usually administer/monitor workflows in 11.2.0?
    Regards
    Carmen

    Thanks Alex,
We have used the browser, but it's very limited ... and not too fast...
We were looking for a more complete tool to administer workflows, and don't know if it would be the Workflow monitor, or if in 11.2 there would be another better tool to do it.
    Regards

  • What's the difference between ACW and PCW?

    Hi Gurus,
What's the difference between ACW (Application Controlled Workflow) and PCW (Process Controlled Workflow) ?
I read that SRM 4.0 uses ACW and SRM 7.0 uses PCW.
My current system is SRM 4.0 but I'm upgrading to SRM 7.0.
What is the difference? What are the implications of migrating from ACW to PCW?
Do I have to develop something different?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Juan,
If you are in SRM previous version , then ACW (Application Controlled Workflow) is option in SRM 7.0 when you go for upgrade to SRM 7.0 and if you going for new implementation then PCW is the only option.. Of course id you planning to upgrade to SRM 7.0 and planning to use PCW with custom workflow business process.. you should have a Workflow consultant to migrate to PCW from ACW..Below is the SAP help will give more details

  • What are the 'events' that are captured by a Visual Studio Workflow (PWA)

    Hello All,
I need to understand what are the different events that Visual Studio workflow (PWA 2013) knows when it an event is triggered. As far as I know there are 3 events
    'OnProjectSubmit', 'OnProjectCommit' and “OnProjectCheckIn'.
Are there any other events that workflow understands, especially on a click of a Save button?

  • What are the Query criterion property attributes to search for KB's in SCCM 2012

A client is ask what servers might have a particular hotfix(ex: KB2798040) installed. The Hotifx is not in our WSUS catalog because it is not a critical security patch so it is not downloaded. What is the SCCM 2012 R2 Query criterion property attributes
    to find a particular KB?

Depending on the OS of the client, that information may not be collected by default.
Rather than collecting all of the HotfixID class, instead, consider using DCM for this single HotfixID.
Sherry has previously posted about ways to do this,
    http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/skissinger/archive/2011/08/17/non-security-hotfix-detection-for-windows-7-2008.aspx
and here's a post by Nick which seems to be based on the very same approach:

  • What is the property of best JPG quality?

    Hello,
When i load an external JPG file in a movieclip, how can i
    get the best quality of
    this external JPG file?
I know for video it is Smoothing, but for external jpg files
    i really don't know.
    Regards,
    Micheal.

    Thanks GWD and kglad,
It seems more compex then i tought, because
    I tried al these things:
    movieclip_mc._quality = "BEST";
    moveiclip_mc._highquality = 2;
( i found this in the help file, i effects more the vector
based animations). If set to 0, an animation is really crapy.
    http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/8/main/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?context=LiveD ocs_Parts&file=00002749.html
And also i tried publishing the flash with jpg quality set to
100, but that does not effect external loaded jpg.
I think i know what causes the edge of a person in a photo
that is not smooth. I rescaled the movieclip.
What i don't understand is when you have a video you can use
    the property
    myvideo.smoothing = true;
When rescaling it still looks very good.
Why did they not use the same technique for JPG?
Also when you import jpg files in your library you can use
the property of this jpg and set
the smoothing to 100% quality. This really does it's work
with GIF's and makes the edge very smooth.
Too bad you can't use smoothing to a movieclip :(
