What the heck, can't hurt to ask
Apparently it is okay that Flex 3.0 beta has a huge gap when
using the 'disableddays' mxml function to eliminate the charting of
blank days like weekends in a chart. So for every chart there is
about 30% emptyspace when your horizontal axis are dates...
I have been able to scale the series data to stretch the full
width and cover the gap, but i can't figure out how to scale the
<mx:HorizontalAxisRenderer>
<mx:Datetimeaxis/>
</mx:HorizontalAxisRenderer>
to get the labels on the horizontal axis and units to scale
the full width along with the data series HOLC etc.
The data series has a scalex value that will stretch the
data, but the labels and units are not scaled.
Any help is appreciated, if it calls for a bunch of fancy
AS3, please give me some hints (that look very much like code).

Power down your router, wait ten seconds and power it up again.
If that diesb't work, there might be a firewall in the router. You need administrative access to the router to check that out. If it's there, turn it off and test again. If that solves the problem, turn it back on but make it a notch weaker. Repeat as necessary.
By the way don't be fooled if other devices (computers) work fine through the router. That's typical.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
I am going to get you to do a soft reset that, I will hope fix some of your issues.
To do this:
1. Press and hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously.
2. Continue holding both buttons until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart. This will take anywhere from 10-20 seconds.
3. When you see the Apple Logo, you can let go of the buttons.
If this still doesn't fix your device, what we could do is try resetting the whole device, wiping it. If this is the case, get back to me and I will pose the steps below. I would recommend that you do this AFTER the device is backedup however.
Before you restore your device
Make sure you’re using the latest version of iTunes.
Use iTunes to back up your device. Transfer and sync any additional content to your computer.
Turn off Find My iPhone in Settings > iCloud on your device to disable Activation Lock.
Restore your iOS device
Connect your iOS device to your computer using the cable that came with it.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes. In the Summary panel, click Restore.
Click Restore again to confirm that you want to restore your device to factory settings and delete all data and content. iTunes will download the iOS software file and restore your iOS device.
After your iOS device is restored to factory settings, it will restart. Once it does, you’ll see the "Slide to set up” welcome screen. Follow the steps in the iOS Setup Assistant. You can set up your device as new or using a previous backup. If your iOS device has cellular service, it will activate after you restore. -
I just downloaded the latest update for iTunes this morning, and now I am getting a message saying that iTunes can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from my computer. What the heck happened?

OK... so now I can pin a tab so it will always be there... so what the heck happen to all my tabs that were pinned? Worked fine for awhile so now what...???????
App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data [1] in the file sessionstore.js [2] in the Firefox profile folder [3].
Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then make sure that Session is unchecked in the settings for the Firefox application. -

What about the fontbook not being able to resolve duplicates?
Try deleting the 'com.apple.FontBook.plist' file.
HD/Users/yourhome/Library/Preferences/ com.apple.FontBook.plist
any other fnts that can commonly cause problems besides the few that are mentioned all the time?
These two can cause problems 'Times Phonetic' -- 'Rougue Stencil-Type' but probably checked for them.

About a week ago, I had no problem clicking on pictures to open them to bigger size.....As of about 4 days ago - If I try to open a picture on Facebook, it shows the comments but no picture..I don't know what is going on!!! We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple, we won't know why there is a delay. Did the email give any sort of reason ?

In Layman terms, what the heck does updating your carrier settings mean, and how does it effect me in the real world?
No offense, but what carrier? what data and what service?
I get a bogus window hovering in my itunes page, telling me I have to update information, that I don't want to manage.
I am not upset or unappreciative of your feedback, quite the opposite, I can't believe anyone actually monitors peoples frustrations.
I just want to make sure I don't allow information about me that is not necessary. I just want to listen to music and have a phone and have an ipad.
Everything else about apple is way to propriatory. I don't want to do anything that isn't very simple.
Most importantly, there never seems to be any (human being) that can answer a telephone call anymore.
Contact us, means...send us an email about something you don't know anything about, and I don't even know that questions to ask.

How the heck can I delete albums and artists out of Your Music?!?!?!?
I had asked elsewhere about how to delete stuff out of "Your Music" and was told that from the 3 dots in the upper right of the app screen I would get a "Remove" option.
BUT.
1) That option is simply not there all the time. I cannot figure out any rhyme or reason as to why or why not-it seems maybe I can't remove artists, only albums? (But then, I don't see any way to view just albums by an artist...). Maybe it's only items I have played that I can remove? That rule didn't really seem to work either. Some albums/artists I can "remove" but not others, they simply don't show the option, not even greyed out. What the heck is going on?!?!? (These items are NOT in playlists, I hardly use playlists).
2) Even when I can "Remove" that stuff still appears in the "Your Music" list. So what the heck am I removing? Not the music, as I don't download for offline listening any more. How can I get this stuff totally out of the list? (Yeah, I supposed I could remove and reinstall the entire app, but that seems ridiculous to be doing that periodically)
I just want to parse the list down to stuff I want to listen to in the future-not junk I already heard, not my kids stuff she sticks in there sometimes. It is really bugging me that I can't clear out this old stuff!Help! Or maybe I should say HELLp!!!Hi,

To remove a album follow these steps:
Open Spotify and go to the "Album view"
Open the album that you want to remove.
Scroll all the way up (so that you see the cover).
Press the "saved"-button so it says "save" instead.
Finished.

I am trying to pay my bill online. However, when I click the "submit" key, it tells me my "nickname" is incorrect. What the heck is a nickname? I have never had this trouble before.
Had the same problem. Here's how I sorted it out, not including yelling at my PC or ranting in my own thread (that's optional): First you want to delete your saved payment option. If you try this and it does not delete, log out and back in. It should be gone. Now re-enter your payment option (credit card number or whatever you are using) and if it asks if you want to save the data for future use, make sure you give it a nickname that doesn't include any special characters. Hope this works for you!

I am transfering songs from one computer to another using home share. Both machines are authorized in home sharing. The songs import from (my) windows computer to the other (my wifes) authorized MacBook Pro, computer just fine. Once the songs are in the library and i try to sync her Iphone (4s) to her computer the songs ar greyed out and i can't play them nor see them under iPhone after sync is complete. What the heck is going on? BTW, the songs that i have imported are either songs i burned from a CD or songs i have purchased from the iTunes store, so they should sync no problem!? Help please.

What the heck is iTunes uploading?
After a frustrating week trying to use iTunes match, I've finally gotten a good chunk of my library in the cloud. The problem is the remaining 10 gigs: all live DJ sets that are roughly 2 hours long. They hover around 180 mb each, so under the limit.
Problem is, I cannot get these to upload at all. I got lucky with one, and another matched, but the rest have been a boondoggle. I've tried many things, and as an experiment I decided to remove all of them from my library, add JUST ONE back into my iTunes, and then keep Activity Monitor open to see what exactly is happening.
And this is what I get: I added back in a file that is 189 mb large. I started the transfer about two hours ago. With Activity Monitor open and set to the Netowrk tab, I originally had "Data sent: 18.38 gb". I verified that I didn't have any thing else really doing any uploads (every once and a while I'd see "Data sent/sec" spike to 1k/second or so, so I figured it was probably just Mail checking my inbox). Now it's two hours later, Data sent/sec has ranged from 40k/sec to 90k/sec (darn ADSL's slow upload speeds). But here's the kicker, I see "Data sent: 18.69 gb"
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but a 189 mb file added to 18.38 gb should equal around 18.58 gb. Which means that iTunes has magically uploaded an additional 100 mb or so of data. Even considering the fact that, since this is an mp3, it'd get re-encoded into an AAC, I find it very unlikely that we're talking about a 50% decrease in compression efficiency, and keep in mind that the upload STILL ISN'T FINISHED. In fact, as I write this, it's now at 18.73 gb data sent and no sign of stopping.
Does anyone know what exactly is happening here? This mirrors my experiences with my first few attempts at uploading these sets: 10 gigs at once, but 6 gigs of uploading later, not a single one had finished. WHAT THE HECK IS ITUNES MATCH DOING??? I'm seriously considering canceling and seeing if I can get my money back, since I mainly cared about being able to stream these sets onto my iPad.Uh just to update, at around 18.77 gb data sent, data has stopped being uploaded from iTunes. Except it's still not done "uploading" the one song. So now I guess it's officially hung. WHAT'S HAPPENING???

I'm trying to import a new cd, but when I load it in, iTunes shuffles the track order. What the heck?!
If you have music that was purchased on different iTunes accounts than the one you use, then you must provide the password, otherwise the tunes are not considered yours. You can turn off iCloud and just use the usual USB sync method. But I wonder whether you'll have the same problem?

signed into hbo now. almost immediately received error saying my subscription expired but it was only 30 minutes old. tried to resubscribe but it did not recognize my email address. what the heck????
i just called hbo now. they are on system overload. apparently no one can sign in. she recommended i try to sign in during the middle of the night to see if it works. they "hope" to have the problems resolved in short order. she said not to sign up for a new subscription because you will be charged for 2 subscriptions.

No, Not at all. Did think I should have to even look for another Quicktime. It's just that after 20 years of post production, this is not the Apple way of doing things.
I just find it incredibly odd that after so many years of putting this App in the Apps folder, that they would replace it with an inferior version, that has dummy presets and shiny buttons and move the "legendary" full featured app to the utilities folder.
I guess I have finally entered into the new "old school". Those of you who have fine tuned your encodes for optimal performance know what I'm talking about for sure.
