What version of Acrobat is needed to split pages of a PDF into separate documents? Standard or Pro?

Need to be able to split PDFs into separate files dependent of what page. Can standard do this? Or will i need Pro?

Hi asfkmg,
Both Acrobat Standard and Pro will allow you to split a PDF into separate documents. Here's a great video that shows you how: https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-to-break-a-pdf-into-parts

  • Split one pdf into separate documents?

I'm looking at a 100 page PDF, and I want to keep the first 3 pages and remove the rest. The webapp allows me to merge PDFs, and, on Windows 7, I would just print the three pages to the CreatePDF printer. But I'm using windows 8: Is there an easy way to create a 3 page PDF from the 100 page PDF I'm working with?

I don't have Adobe Acrobat, just the Adobe PDF Pack. As mentioned above, I'm trying to print certain pages from a 100 page PDF.
I uninstalled the CreatePDF printer and reinstalled it on my Win 8 machine. Before the reinstall I didn't get an email acknowleding the print job, but now I receive an email that says, "Your uploaded file type is not a supported format." According to the supported format page (https://www.acrobat.com/createpdf/en/supported-file-formats.html) PDFs are not listed as one of the supported source filetypes. Does that mean I can't print PDFs to the CreatePDF printer (e.g., print to CreatePDF 3 pages of a 100 page PDF)?

  • How to tell what version of Acrobat or Reader was last used to save a PDF

How can I tell what version of Acrobat or Reader was last used to save a PDF file? My users are using fillable forms from grants.gov. We want them to use Adobe Reader 8.1.3 to fill these forms, but some accidentally use the Pro version of Acrobat. They need this to make PDFs from Word & other apps, but Pro will corrupt the fillable forms.
When I open a saved form in Reader 8.1.3 and click File > Properties it says Acrobat 7.x even though I know it was saved with 8.1.3.
Is there a way to know which version number and type (Reader or Pro) last saved a PDF?

But it won't tell you what was used last. It just gives the original information.
It also won't differentiate between Pro and Standard and of course won't mention Reader at all.

  • What levels of Acrobat are needed to use forms created in Acrobat Pro 9?

What levels of Acrobat are needed to use forms created in Acrobat Pro 9? I want to use my form as a job ticket but want to know what levels of adobe reader are needed for the end users to be able to fill out & submit the forms without any problems.

Reader 7 and higher should be able to fill out forms and submit if the pdf format allows Reader 7 to fill out the form. However, without problems is a different issue. Submission of forms via email is ALWAYS a problem. It is always better to post the form on a website and have the form filled out on the web and have the data stored or sent to a database for further action.

although i ran GBX6 under 10.5.8, i do believe an intel processor is required. that means that the only complete solution would be a new computer, i'm afraid.
the best you could do is export each track as an audio file from GBi and drop them into your GBX project

  • What version of Acrobat is {AC76BA86-1033-F400-7760-000000000003} ?

    Hello
I am trying to update my version of Acrobat 8 to 8.1 but the installer fails because it doesn't like my version {AC76BA86-1033-F400-7760-000000000003} ?
Any idea of which updater I should use ?
    Regards
    alex

Well when trying to update I get an error message to the effect that the transform is invalid (very helpfull).
Looking into the debug log I see
DEBUG: Error 2746:  Transform STDENU_P_GMToSTDENU_NEW invalid for package C:\WINDOWS\Installer\17b774b.msi. Expected product {AC76BA86-1033-0000-BA7E-000000000003}, found product {AC76BA86-1033-F400-7760-000000000003}.
Hence my question, what version of Acrobat am I running ?
FWIW the About box say Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional version 8.0.0
but obviously this is not good enough...

  • What version of NeoOffice is needed for Yosemite?

What version of NeoOffice is needed for Yosemite?  I have NeoOffice version 3.3.  Will it run correctly on Yosemite?

According to RoaringApps compatibility table, it will.
Personally I gave up on NeoOffice a couple of version back on OS X and started using LibreOffice instead. I found it to be far superior to NeoOffice.

Mac OS X 10.7.5 or newer, or see below. Press the Command and R keys at startup to load the recovery partition, or the Option, Command, and R keys to reinstall the computer's original OS.

  • I need to convert hundreds of TRANSPARENT PDFs into PNG or TIFF

I need to convert hundreds of TRANSPARENT PDFs into PNG or TIFF.
That's not possible with Acrobat. It’s possible to convert hundreds of PDFs into PNG or TIFF using batch processing. But transparency is LOST!
Photoshop is the only software I know of which is able to keep transparency when converting from PDF to PNG.
But now I have problems to get batch processing running.
I made an Action with “Open file”, “Save as PSD” and “Export to PNG”.
Using this Action in batch-process-files with source as a folder with many PDFs and target as a different folder results in many opened PDFs within Photoshop. Nothing else happens:-(.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Norbert

    Great:)
    It worked at once.
Thank you so much for this link.

  • I am trying to drag and drop one page of a .pdf into another .pdf in Acrobat Reader.  I used to be able to drag and drop from one .pdf to another.

I am trying to drag and drop one page of a .pdf into another .pdf in Acrobat Reader.  I used to be able to drag and drop from one .pdf to another.

If you could drag and drop pages before, it wasn't in Reader. You no doubt had Adobe Acrobat (Pro or Standard) which shouldn't be confused with Adobe Acrobat Reader. They recently added Acrobat to the name of Adobe Reader so the confusion about which product you had and/or have is understandable.

  • How do I insert pages from one PDF into the current PDF in Acrobat X?

I just upgraded from Acrobat 8 to Acrobat X.
How do I insert pages from one PDF into the current PDF in Acrobat X pro?  I was able to do this from the Edit menu in Acrobat 8 pro.  Appreciate instructions.  Thanks.

    Hi chemadberk,
In my Acrobat 8 Pro, Insert Pages is under the Document menu but anyway...
In Acrobat X, click on the Tools pane(upper right side) then navigate to Pages- the Insert Pages commands are located there.
    Hope this helps,
