What version of JDBC do the Oracle9i 9.2.0.1 JDBC Drivers Support?

Hi,
I've just spent a good hour trying to figure out what JDBC version the oracle drivers (Oracle9i 9.2.0.1 JDBC Drivers) actually support, and havn't managed to find an answer.
ie JDBC 1.x JDBC 2.x or JDBC 3.x
The readme file proudly says:
JDBC 3.0 feature support
A few critical JDBC 3.0 features are supported.but it doesn't go on to say WHAT VERSION it FULLY supports.
When I use the JDBC methods:
OracleDriver driver = new OracleDriver();
int majorVersion = driver.getMajorVersion();
int minorVersion = driver.getMinorVersion();
I get majorVersion = 1 and minorVersion = 0, which I hope isn't true.
So what version is it really?
Thanks for helping my sanity!
Cheers,
Daniel.

  • What version of Itunes is the best one for m4a encoding?

What version of Itunes is the best one for m4a encoding?

In that all versions of iTunes support ripping or converting to .m4a (both AAC and Apple Lossless) and in that the latest version is likely to included bug fixes and optimisations, I would say the answer is always going to be the latest version.
An area where there maybe a need to consider using an older version is that older versions of Windows are no longer supported by the latest versions of iTunes. For example Windows 2000 is no longer supported but Windows XP and later still are.

  • What version of forms was the cutover from 6.0 to  6i.

What version of forms was the cutover from 6.0 to 6i.
What was the last release of 6.0 (6.0.5.34 ) ?
    First release of 6i ?

    George,
actually I don't know the exact version number, but it was Patch5 where Forms6i was branched out from. The last Forms 6.0 patch was patch 7 and had the Forms version 6.0.5.35.3 in it.
However, patch 7 was where bot, 6i and 6.0 had the same level of functionality.

  • How to tell what version of a document the workflow ran against?

I am using the OOB Approval workflow and in the workflow information I see a Document field, but that links latest version of the document. How can I tell what version of the document the workflow actually ran against?

    Hi,
Set a variable in the workflow to be equal to the version of the document.
Now you can use this variable to update a column in the document library with the version and date the workflow was ran. Next time the workflow runs, update this column with next run details.
OR write this variable to workflow history. Hope it helps.

  • I want to updating my IOS on my iPad..What Version of IOS are the best on my iPad?

i want it to update my IOS on my iPad..what is the best Version of IOS for my iPad?

The only version that you can update to is the current version i.e. 8.3 - unless your iPad is the first gen in which case it only supports up to iOS 5.1.1
Is there anything in iOS 8.3 that you need, or any apps that require a higher iOS version than you currently have on your iPad that you'd like to install ?

  • For what version of JDeveloper are the viewlets for?

    At the following URL: http://technet.oracle.com/products/jdev/viewlets/viewlet.html
there are viewlets on JDeveloper. Can anybody tell me what version of JDeveloper (ie, where it doesn't say updated for 9.0.3) these viewlets are written for? I have version 9.0.3 on my machine and what is shown in viewlets (I have gone thru the first two viewlets only) is significantly different from what I see using 9.0.3?

They are a mix of 9.0.3 and 9.0.2 although the concepts should work the same for both.
those with 9.0.3 say so in red.

  • What version of jre is the older style java look and feel?

I have two windos xp systems, one running the 1.5.0_05 JRE and one running the 1.4.2_08 JRE.
The system that has the more up to date version has a more aesthetically pleasing java (metal) LookAndFeel. The older version has dark gray buttons/backgrounds and has purple scrollbars. The newer version has a lighter gray background with light blue (and partially shaded) buttons, scrollbars, checkboxes, etc.
Does anyone know what version of the JRE made the move from the older style LookAndFeel to the newer one?
    Thanks!

There were only maintence releases between 1.4.2 and 1.5.0. So the answer is 1.4.2 (old) 1.5.0 (new).

  • What version of LabView introduced the scrollbar controller?

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me in what version of LabView the scrollbar controller was introduced? I know that the controller is available in LV 8.5

I believe it was 8.0. It does not exist in 7.1.
Of course, older versions have slides which can be customized to look like a scrollbar or use ActiveX scrollbars.

  • What version of orion are the various OC4Js based on?

I understand that the OC4J container is based on that of the orion application server.
Does anyone know where I can find out which version of orion the OC4J containers were based on. I ask because we are wanting to develop a J2EE app on orion (as it's good for developing stuff quickly) and then deploy the app to Oracle9iAS for UAT, etc.
I would like to know which orion app server version I should use in order to minimise any issues which may arise following the deployment to Oracle9iAS.
I think we are going to be using v1.0.2.2 of Oracle9iAS so the corresponding orion version of this OC4J would be useful.

    Hi -
They don't map 1-1. The latest version of OC4J has aspects of it that don't appear in Orion. I use Orion 1.5.3 for development purposes, but I do my development in JDev9i - which makes it easier for me to deploy to both. I am using much of the ejb 2.0 CMP/CMR that appears in both Orion and OC4J so JDev9i is a bit of a pain in that regard since it only supports ejb1.1, but it does give me a consistent base of operations. I believe that the original version of OC4J from the middle of last year was essentially Orion 1.5.0......

  • What version is compatible for the Mac Powerbook 4G OS system 10.5.8 ?

I would like to have Firefox for my everyday use and the free download states that the current version is not compatible with this Mac Powerbook 4G OS 10.5.8. Is there an older version I could download at your website?

As of Firefox 4.0 and newer one needs both OSX 10.5+ and '''Intel''' hardware.
Firefox 3.6.* from Mozilla is the last to work on PPC. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html (Firefox 3.6.25 was released recently).
Since you have a PPC there is a third-party option for Firefox 9.0 at http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/ however do note http://code.google.com/p/tenfourfox/wiki/PluginsNoLongerSupported if you use this build.

  • What version of frimware is the latest. 4.30.5 or 4.21.1

From my last upgrade it had this information below.
If you go to web site and pick WRT54G Version 4, It show you that version 4.21.1 is the latest.
Linksys, A division of Cisco Systems, Inc.
    Product:                WRT54G
    Classification:         Firmware Release History
    Firmware  Date:  04/27/2006
    Release Date:           05/25/2006
    Last Firmware Version: 4.30.5
    Firmware 4.30.5
    - Resolves UPnP vulnerability reported by SANE
    Firmware 4.30.2
    - Resolves issue with filter name
    - Resolves issue where service name for PPPoE cannot be added
    - Resolves issue with detecting UHP modems
    - Resolves issue where DynDNS Custom and Static accounts cannot be used
    - Resolves issue with WEP passphrase not recognizing spaces
    Firmware 4.20.7
    - Resolved issue with SecureEasySetup button delay
    - Resolved issue with SecureEasySetup overwritting current wireless settings
    - Resolved issue with not being able to disable SecureEasySetup button
    - Resolved issue with Diag light being constantly lit after upgrading to 4.20.6 on v.1 hardware
    - Resolved issue with iDefense security vulnerability
    - Resolved issue with L2TP disconnect
    - Resolved issue with SecureEastsetup long button push not resetting wireless settings

The WRT54Gv1-4 and the WRT54GL use the same hardware platform and are firmware compatible. Initially, Linksys released the latest firmware 4.30.something for the WRT54G which was the one for the WRT54GL and shows WRT54GL on the web configuration interface http://192.168.1.1/
I guess some people got confused or worried thus they re-released basically the same firmware for the WRT54G which shows WRT54G correctly as 4.21.something.
If you compare the firmware version history for the WRT54Gv4 and the WRT54GL you'll notice that they basically fix all the identical list of issues. You can use either firmware. They should all work the same.
Thus, to update to the latest firmware for your router get the 4.21.1 which fixes a few issues and should show the correct model of your router. 4.30.9 should be basically the same but for the WRT54GL. The WRT54GL now even has a 4.30.11. I guess that should also work on your router.

  • What version or model of the Macbook Pro is this?

I might get a Macbook Pro from a friend. I was looking at memory in the Apple store since I'm a web app developer and run local development servers on my laptops and would probably want to upgrade it to 2 GB or 3 GB, but I want to double check the specs below and figure out which Macbook Pro it is. Is this the very first version? From my understanding, all subsequent versions had the Core 2 Duo processor. Will I be sad I don't have a Core 2 Duo processor?
Y'know, if I ever get around to trying to digitize old family VHS tapes, will I notice a major performance lag with this machine instead of a more recent Macbook Pro?
    Here's the info:
Processor: 2 GHz Intel Core Duo
    Memory: 1 G 667 DDR2 SDRAM
    Hardware Overview:
    Model Name: MacBook Pro 15"
    Model Identifier: MacBookPro1,1
    Processor Name: Intel Core Duo
    Processor Speed: 2 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 1
    Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per processor): 2 MB
    Memory: 1 GB
    Bus Speed: 667 MHz
    Boot ROM Version: MBP11.0055.B08
    SMC Version: 1.2f10

    Hi,
This looks to be almost the same spec as my system - one of the initial 15" Intel MacBook Pro's. It is probably fitted with the ATI Radeon graphics chip set, which if you have been following the nVidia story could be regarded as a bonus!
I use my MBP every day for everything from iTunes, iPhoto, MS Office, Accounts, Project Management and very occasionally the odd game and watching DVD's. It's also been used for converting old vinyl records to MP3's.
It may well be over two years old but it's still going strong and has a few more years life left in it yet.
    Good luck!
    Andy E

  • What version of iOS does the iPad 2 come with?

I am looking to buy an iPad 2 and was wondering if I were to purchase an iPad 2 today, would it come with iOS pre or post iOS 5?

    Texas Mac Man wrote:
Probably depends on whre you buy it. There could still be some stock of iPads using iOS 4.3. There's no indication on the iPad box as to what iOS is installed. iOS updates are free, so there's no concern for you.
     Cheers, Tom
Is there an iCloud stamp on the current iPad 2 packaging? Maybe the packaging implies. If the current packaging has the iCloud stamp, iPads shipped with iOS4.3 wouldn't have it but that would really take a bit of luck to come by.
